My guest today, for this sixth episode in the Special Election Series, which will focus on the 2022 French presidential elections, is Rainbow Murray. Rainbow is a Professor of Politics in the School of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London in the UK. She is an expert on representation, political institutions, gender and diversity, with particular expertise in French and British politics. Rainbow is also the Faculty Lead for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Among her many publications are,Gendered Electoral Financing: Money, Power and Representation in Comparative Perspective, co-edited with Ragnhild Muriaas and Vibeke Wang, and published by Routledge in 2019, as well as Parties, Gender Quotas and Candidate Selection in France , published by Palgrave MacMillan in 2010.
