What if your business could keep making money — even when you’re on the floor playing with your kids?

That’s not just a pipe dream, mama. It’s absolutely possible… but only if you stop trying to automate confusion.

In this episode, I’m breaking down the real first step to building a business that runs without you — and it’s not funnels, ads, or a shiny new course. We’re talking about your signature offer and signature message — the one thing you want to be known for, the transformation you deliver on repeat, and the thing that will become the engine for every scalable offer you create in the future.

I’ll walk you through:

  • Why “all roads” in your business should lead to one core offer (your "Emerald City" offer)
  • How to design that offer with scale in mind (even if it’s 1:1 for now)
  • What it takes to nail your scalable messaging so your offer sells in webinars, emails, and content — without a single sales call
  • The order of operations for building a leveraged, automated business
  • How to set your business up to thrive when you’re at 20% capacity, not just when you’re at 100%

Plus — you’ll get an invite to my FREE live training on Monday, August 18th, where I’m going to show you exactly how to create a simplified business model that can generate a 50K quarter without the hustle. This is the exact strategy I used to make $50K in just 60 days, and I’m walking you through it step-by-step!

(00:01):
Okay.
We all want a business that canrun without us, right?
The the goals of any businessowner but definitely of a CEO
Mom is a business that doesn'tdepend on you.
It does not depend on you havingto put out content every single
day, constant DMing and beingglued to your phone or your.
That that's really all we want.
I know I said this to my husbandand I mean it, I'm like, I just

(00:23):
wanna sit on the floor and playmy babies and get paid to do
that.
That would be the most awesomething ever.
Now, obviously, I absolutelylove delivering to my clients,
and I've discussed this in thepast, and that's why I don't
think I'm ever going to have abusiness that runs like
completely without me, withzero, client time.
I love my mastermind, and thereason why is because I just, I
love love being able to go deepwith people and really just dig

(00:45):
into their business, dig intotheir strategies, dig into their
mindset really help them, havethese huge transformations, but
I also don't want my business todepend on me only being able to
do that, right?
And so what I need you to knowis that before you can automate
anything before you can buildfunnels and courses, and even a
front end offer, you're gonnaneed this.
All right?

(01:05):
So the one thing you need toremember, the biggest takeaway
you need to have from thisepisode, and we're gonna go
deeper into this, but.
You cannot automate confusion,alright?
You have to be known for onething before you can scale
anything.
And we're gonna talk about thata little bit more.
And next week I'm gonna behosting a free live training
where I'm gonna be sharingexactly how you can create a 50

(01:28):
K quarter with a very,simplified business, with.
Your signature offer that youare known for with your unique
genius and just giving you thefoundation for that scalable
business.
And I'm gonna show you exactlyhow you can use this to hit 50 K
in Q4.
So I'm gonna be sharing a littlebit more about that and I'll be

(01:49):
telling you how to join at theend.
Welcome to the Raising YourBusiness Podcast.
I'm your host, Al Behan, founderof CEO Mom Academy, mom of Six
and Lifelong Reading addict.
This podcast is here to empowermoms to run their businesses and
lives like the powerhouse CEO.
They are.
I want you to believe that youcan have the business success

(02:10):
you desire.
And be present with your familyand to give you my best tips and
strategies for how to make thathappen.
I'll be sharing the honestreality of balancing business
and motherhood biz models thatwork for you.
Marketing simplicity, and themindset of A CEO, mom.
Now let's dive in.

(02:33):
So let's talk about what itreally means to build a business
that can run without you.
So you might think, okay, I justneed to build a course, or I
just need to create a funnel, right?
Everyone's oh, just create afunnel.
Just create a funnel.
And the truth is, okay, thatyou, in order to create a funnel
that works, that converts you'regonna wanna have one that starts
off.
Selling to your warm audience,right?

(02:54):
Like setting straight to coldaudiences doesn't usually make a
lot of sense.
You want to test it with yourpeople before you can run ad
money behind it.
'cause otherwise it could be abig waste unless you have loads
of ad money to spend, in whichcase you're probably doing okay,
right?
But if you want to really build,I.

(03:15):
A funnel that is going toconvert into, more sales
compounded sales, higher ticketsales later on, you're gonna
wanna launch this to yourexisting audience first, and in
order to have an existingaudience in order to build the
audience around you, in order tobuild the foundation of a
business that can run withoutyou.
You need to have a known, clear, anchored signature that

(03:36):
everything else is built from.
When I say a signature, I meanyour signature offer, but also
your signature message.
The signature thing that youstand from.
Your unique genius, right?
And your signature offer mightstill require your time now,
right?
It might still be a one-to-oneoffer but it should deliver a
repeatable, specifictransformation because once you
have productized your signatureoffer to the point that you can

(03:58):
deliver it over and over againin a repeatable fashion,
obviously everyone's gonna havetheir own little version of
this.
It's gonna be customized perperson to an extent, but the
process is the same.
The end transformation really isthe same.
Then that will become the enginebehind all your future leveraged
income streams.
Okay.
And I've, as I've spoken to alot of different people, I was,
I did my real secrets of CEOMoms summit recently, and I

(04:21):
spoke to a lot of different momsand a, and really so many of
them said similar things is thatthey really simplified with.
They're one main offer that theylead to, and even the ones that
have loads of front end funnels, which you can definitely build
over time.
It all kinda leads back to thesame one offer, which I call
like the Emerald City offer,right?
All roads lead to that offer.

(04:44):
So let's talk about the threecore foundations that you're
gonna need before you can reallyscale your business to a place
where it can grow without youbeing live in it all the time.
So the first one is your uniquegenius.
So this is the work that youwant to be known for.
Okay.
That you are so good at that itjust comes so naturally to you.
Now this may be a lot of things, like if you're anything like me,

(05:05):
I am a multi-passionate,multi-purpose I say
multi-talented, but I am good ata lot of different things.
I'm very much like a Jill of alltrades'cause I'm interested in a
lot of different things.
You're not going to be known forevery single thing that you're
good at.
Okay.
You want to be specific enoughto really stand out and deep
enough to really scale.
And this is gonna be the hookthat your funnel and your front

(05:27):
end offers and all that otherstuff is going to build itself
around when you're in over thatone thing, that one genius thing
that you aren't so incredible atthat you're so good at helping
people do.
You are going to basically havethe foundation for your entire
business.
Now, for me.
I, this is hard for me.

(05:47):
I'm gonna, I'm not gonna lie, this is hard for me because I,
like I said, I like to talkabout a lot of different things.
I like to help my clients do alot of different things.
This is not something that'sjust, I'm like, oh yeah, it's
this one thing that I'm good at,and that's it.
No, I like a lot of things.
I'm interested in a lot ofthings.
However, when I really sat andthought about what is the, my
favorite transformation that I'mknown for that help my clients

(06:09):
do that, help my clients.
Really have thesetransformations is that I'm, I
help them simplify down theirgoals.
Like I help'em basicallysimplify their entire process.
That they can create a businessthat can scale.
Because People tend to get intoovercomplicating and
overthinking and overeverything.

(06:30):
And the truth is that I help myclients like take like their
upcoming launch or theirupcoming, like they have all
these ideas of I could do thisand I could do that, and I could
do this other thing.
And I really distill it down tothe most simple version of what
they could do to grow theirbusiness, to make sales to grow
their audience, whatever it istheir goal is without having to.

(06:55):
Overwork without getting sooverwhelmed that they don't end
up doing anything withoutfeeling like they are
sacrificing their family fortheir business goals.
That's it.
I help them simplify.
The irony is, in my own head, Iovercomplicate a lot.
That's why I've had to teachmyself this skill of
simplifying, and it's mucheasier to do for other people.

(07:15):
That's why I have my own coach.
Okay.
But I am really good at that.
Kind of process, which is, okay, yes, you wanna do this launch.
Oh, you wanna do a challenge andyou wanna do this and you wanna
do that?
Okay, fine.
But this is your first launch.
Let's strip this down.
Let's make this launch reallysimple.
Let's make this a validationlaunch, right?

(07:35):
And I did this with my client, right?
And and she had an incrediblebeta launch.
She one and a half Xed her herstudent goal for her first
launch.
And then she was able torelaunch again in a really
simple way, which also convertedlike gangbusters because she had
that really solid foundation ofthat simple launch.
It didn't have all these bellsand whistles that she then would

(07:58):
have to recreate every time shewanted to sell her offer.
Because when you have bells andwhistles around every single
thing you do, then you'rebuilding your business for the
version of you that is at ahundred percent.
And honestly, like I need tobuild my business for the
version of me that's like at20%.
Because sometimes a lot of thetime I'm gonna be at 20%, maybe

(08:18):
not overall, but my capacitywill be at 20%.
And I think this needs to be anentire episode in and of itself.
Okay?
Probably short, but it's animportant, you need to build
your business for like yourworst case scenario, not your
best case scenario, because yourbest case scenario will only
happen maybe 10% of the time.
And knowing my life, knowing theway my life works my, I'm not

(08:40):
gonna say it's always my worstcase scenario, but my best case
scenario is not common.
Everyone's in school.
Everyone is healthy.
There's no war going on.
I'm feeling amazing.
I'm feeling focused.
All those things.
The house is clean.
I don't know.
All those things coalescetogether, do not happen very
often because I have sixchildren.

(09:00):
I'm a little busy and.
Like I said, I always say this,I've said this before and I'll
say it again.
Every child you add to yourfamily, while such a blessing is
going to be an extra variable inyour life, so you have now one
more potential kind of spannerin the works.
Every time you try to getsomething done because they
might get sick, they might befighting with other one, another
sibling, they might they mightnot wanna let you work because

(09:21):
they want attention, right?
So I know that I need to buildmy business for the 20% version
of me and not the a hundredpercent version of me.
The second part is signatureoffer clarity, and this is gonna
be your one offer that becomesthe foundation of your scalable
business.
Now, this might start as aone-to-one offer.
It might start as a hybrid offerdone with you.
I actually start my, my, mysignature offer started off as a

(09:41):
one to many because I didn'thave time to offer a one-to-one
offer.
Okay?
So I was already delivering anddesigning my.
Scalable offer, like with futurescaling in mind.
Okay.
Now if you're like, no, but I doone-to-one, I do one-to-one
messaging work or branding orwebsite building or whatever.
Okay, fine.
We'll get there.

(10:02):
We will get there, but you canevolve this into a group program
or maybe into courses or maybeinto a passive products like
templates.
My client right now has amessaging intensive that I am
now we're now discussing theprocess of productizing it
because I wanted it to, numberone, be able to sell it on, a
little webinar or in emailswithout really having to get on
sales calls to sell it.

(10:23):
Okay.
And I would love for her tobuild this into a productized
process that she can thenpotentially teach or do in a
group setting, right?
So when you prioritize andrefine it, this offer is going
to become your six figure, yourmulti-six figure base.

(10:44):
Okay.
So what I wanna say is, yes, cash injections are fun and we
need to make money sometimes andit is what it is.
Alright?
But I want you to think, don'tbuild what you'll be like, okay.
I'll figure out how to scalethat later from the beginning.
Start with the end in mind.
Okay?
Is this potentially scalablelater on?

(11:05):
So when I say scalable, what Imean is if 10 people join this
week, would I be fine?
And if the answer to that isyes, then yes that's a scalable
offer.
If it's like I don't know.
Okay, fine.
Maybe you have a group coachingprogram, maybe you use some sort
of onboarding process.
Okay, fine.
Figure out how to automate thatmore.
Figure out how to have schedulein your onboarding so that
they're not all coming in oneweek.

(11:27):
Whatever, and you don't have tohave every single offer be
infinitely scalable.
My mastermind is not infinitelyscalable.
My accelerator, when I had myaccelerator program, it did not
have one-to-one.
It did have reviews, but it didnot have one-to-one outside of
that.
And that was pretty much, thatwas pretty scalable.
I could have scaled that to 50people easily.
Okay.
That being said, i'm nowcurrently in the I discussed

(11:49):
this in the My Real Secretstraining when I was like, okay,
I'm still trying to figure outwhat that scalable offer is for
me right now.
What does that look like for me?
That kind of mid tier thing thatI will be able to send everybody
to, because not everyone cancome into my Mastermind.
It's not for everybody.
Okay.
I do wanna have it filled forsure, but it is not for
everybody.
So thinking about, long term, ifI had something that everyone

(12:14):
came into, what would that thingbe?
Ideally, everyone would comeinto this.
Eventually I.
Think about that.
The third piece is the scalablemessaging, right?
That messaging that communicateswhat that offer is and why it
matters.
And this needs to be very naileddown because if you're used to
selling on a sales call.
Then you're gonna have to thinkabout, okay, I need to create

(12:37):
messaging that can sell atscale.
This has be messaging that cansell to people in content, in a
webinar, in emails, right?
So you have to really nail themessaging around your offer so
that you can deliver it at scalebecause, getting on a sales call
is like relatively easy.
You present your offer or youfind out what their problems are
and you're like here's how I'mgonna solve your problems.
And then they have an objection, and then you answer it and they

(12:57):
might have another objection andyou answer it and it's very
customized.
But when you are selling atscale, you are not gonna be able
to have that, right?
You're gonna have to havemessaging that really speaks to
all the different buyer types,to all the different objections,
right?
When you have that scalablemessaging, you are gonna be
preparing your business for thatfuture automation by tracking
your aligned leads.
Now, okay, so what is thestrategic path to a business

(13:20):
that scales To wrap this all up,the funnel and the automations
will only be able to come afteryou clarify your core offer
because as I discussed in myLazy Money Masterclass gel link
below.
When you're creating a front endoffer, you wanna create some
level of, like a taste of theoffer that you're setting people
into.
Whether you're creating a tasteof the knowledge that you're
sharing with them or creating ataste of the experience that
they're going to be havinginside of that offer, you are

(13:41):
going to want to basically pulla piece, I call it like the pie
you're slicing the little pieceoutta the pie and sharing with
them here is like a little tasteof what you can get when you
work with me.
Whether that's in a course,whether it's in a group program,
whether it's in a one-to-one ora Mastermind.
So you're gonna need to havethis nailed down before you.
Can create frontend funnels andautomations.
So here's gonna be your order ofoperations here.

(14:02):
You're going to define yourunique genius.
You're gonna build and refineyour signature offer, even if
it's one to one for now, it'sfine as long as it you are
designing it with scale in mind, whether it's the process you
take people through or how yourun it, it doesn't really
matter.
Okay?
Maybe you're gonna be pullingpieces out of it.
Sell it right as templates.
Thinking about how am I gonnascale this later?
Then you're gonna have yourfront end offer and lead gen

(14:25):
strategy.
And then once you have that andyou've nailed creating a pool of
leads for your signature offer,right?
Your higher ticket, your premiumoffer, then you productize it
into a leveraged offer.
So that could be, again, ofcourses, it could be templates,
it could be a membership.
And at that point you can figureout the automated funnel that
will bring in leads and nurturethem on autopilot.
And when your offer is provenand clear, you can turn it into

(14:46):
a funnel based evergreen offer.
You can turn it into a one tomany container.
You can create a load ticketproduct that leads back into it,
right?
But you have to have thatclarity first.
So next week on Monday, August18th, I am going to be hosting a
live free training about how tohave a 50 K quarter in a very

(15:08):
low lift, simplified.
And I like using the wordsimplified a lot because like I
said, I said this before I saidit again.
As a mom, our lives arecomplicated enough, so the more
we can simplify our businesses, the better.
And I'm gonna be showing youexactly how you can do this.
And I'll be also sharing exactlyhow I did it.
I had a 50 K quarter, in fact, Ihave a 50 K quarter.
I had a 50 k, 60 days, likeliterally 50 K in 60 days.

(15:31):
I'll be sharing more about thaton the training.
So I hit 50 K in sales.
Most of it was cash to behonest.
Okay?
So most of it was cash, but Ihad 50 K in sales by.
The end of November.
And that did not even count anypresales that I did in December
for January, which I always do.
So this was like, honestly, likejust from October, November at

(15:51):
50 k and I was not selling afive figure offer.
Oh great, 50 k, that's fiveclients at 10 KH Nope, I was
not, I was selling a fourfigure, a mid four figure offer.
I hosted a Black Friday hail.
And and it was just done in avery strategic.
Way.
And I'm gonna be sharing exactlyhow I did it and your
step-by-step plan for how youcan do it too.

(16:12):
Whether you're a coach, aconsultant, a service provider,
even a course creator, this canabsolutely work for you.
And I'm gonna be sharingliterally this step by step on
how you can do it too.
So if you want to join this liveretraining again, it's gonna be
about a week from now, Monday onAugust 18th.
When you sign up, you can alsoget the replay, even if you
can't show up live.

(16:32):
But I'm gonna be sharing exactlyhow I did it, how you can do it,
and how I can help you do ittoo.

So make sure to jump in nowwhile it still is free.
I'm really excited for this andI cannot wait to share it with

mini mind.

(17:14):
This is going to be a four monthhigh proximity container with me
where we are going to literallydo all of this.
