Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Jonathan and Kelly Show.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Jonathan ross DII hires in the Trump administration like Pete
Hegseth so called Secretary of Defense dumb ethn individuals continue
to try to test our resolve and cancel our history.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Kelly Nash if their whole strategy minute long videos on
TikTok to call us names while we secure the southern border,
kickout Chinese influence, revide the warrior culture inside our military.
That's why they lost in a historic fashion to President
Trump last time, and their future looks bleak as well.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
The Jonathan and Kelly Show woc.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
The second voice you probably recognized that was so called
Secretary of Defense.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Well, the first one is. And I don't want to
make fun of Hakeem Jeffries if there's some sort of
physical problem, but I think he's trying to affect his
voice to show emotion and he's coming off like Catherine Hepburn.
I want to tell you that Peyton, he said, there's
a dumb fn man.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I should have thrown in one of the lines on
the old Golden Pond, the Lunes, the loon Norman.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
That's a great correlation.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Now I'm gonna see you everybody, all right? So hello,
welcome to Monday, the fourteenth of April. This is Jonathan Rush.
There's killing Nash. Good morning all right. So, and the
Fight Oligarchy Tour was that that was a big day
on Saturday, wasn't it? I heard Joan Bias I miss
Neil Young?

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Would you say you missed Neil?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
And it was interesting because the more I thought about
it over the weekend, oligarchy. Nobody in a democracy likes oligarchs.
But when you think about an oligarchy, you think about
even with some of these supposed democrat nations that we
know aren't, like Russia, a lot of Russian oligarchs. China
certainly has an infamous list of oligarchs. So if they

(01:55):
are in fact not democracies and they are a socialist nation,
isn't interesting that Bernie Sanders would lead the fight here
against the oligarchs that he and AOC want to fight.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Well, I mean, look, if by any definition an olig
oligarchs are people who have a lot of money and
a lot more influence than the average person, Bernie Sanders
would fit into that category. He's got a lot more
money than most of you, and he's got a lot
more power. He's got a lot more power than even
most of the ninety nine other senators. He has huge

(02:32):
influence over the Democrat caucus, so he's one of the
most powerful men on earth. So he is, by his
own definition, an oligarch. So we should be fighting Bernie Sanders.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah, his biggest struggle so far is trying to actually
become the oligarch of the Democrat Party because they have
the super delegates that kept him down. When Hillary Clinton
got the nomination was a more she was more oligarchy.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Than he, and that's what's ticking Bernie off.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Absolutely was more oligarchy than him, And which brings us
to one of my favorite things about Hillary Clinton. Remember
when she was out there pushing hillary Care along before
Obamacare ever got oxygen, She was pushing for hillary Care. Now,
when she was out on she wasn't on the campaign trail. Now,

(03:17):
let's clearly differentiate, as we now know the ruling came down,
she was just out speaking. Now, was she speaking to
a large Democrat crowd? Was she gathering people because her
husband was the president. Did she have a perceived preference
in opinion inside the administration for Bill Clinton? Many people

(03:38):
would argue, yes. So she's out there preaching Hillary Care
while at the same time shorting the market on pharmaceutical
stocks and they were plummeting, and then she got to
put to an option with a stay and then boom,
the market came back. She became a multi billionaire again

(03:59):
off of that deal. Now I bring that up because
there's going to be We're going to continue with this
investigation that Donald Trump gave a wink and a nod
to his family and close friends, all his close friends
on social media where he put out on his social
media posts from truth Social and others. Now would be
a great time to buy No. We talked about this

(04:21):
briefly on Saturday, But the term by the dip. Did
Trump originate that just over the past couple of days
or was that something we've heard now for decades. Well,
I mean, look, this has to be investigated.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
The Democrats are hurting a lot, and there's really they're
just struggling. I mean, when you see Hakeem Jefferies looking
like jay Z with the Crooked Yankees hat on dropping
f bombs, I mean they're just looking for some sort
of attention to get away from all the winning. Now,
if this is what I would do if I'm a Democrat.

(04:58):
I think we saw them make good headway over the
weekend because Donald Trump is a great communicator for the
most part. I mean, he's not as eloquent as Ronald
Reagan was, but he is a very good communicator. He
develops a lot of passion from the fan base. But
what he hasn't done yet is really explain why the

(05:19):
tariffs are so desperately needed Americans. But you saw the
new CBS UGOV poll that came out over the weekend.
Fifty eight percent of Americans are against the tariffs. Seventy
five percent of Americans believe that these tariffs are designed
to help the rich. It's the exact opposite. The rich
are the ones that are taking it in the shorts here.
It's designed to reestablish a middle class. And the reason

(05:40):
we need to re establish a middle class is we're
losing this country. We're losing it. And if people don't
wake up to that reality. You've heard politicians say it
for forty years that we're losing the country. If we
don't wake up quickly now, you're going to lose it.
And when fear works that that's been my theory over

(06:02):
the weekend, I was thinking about this. Fear works in
races politics. If you look at the last election, seventy
five million Americans looked at Kamala Harris, who is one
of the most we'll just say flawed candidates we've ever
seen for president. Seventy five million Americans voted for her
on one basic issue, the fear of losing democracy. You're

(06:24):
going to lose democracy and a whole lot more if
China becomes the superpower. And if you need any proof,
look at Hong Kong. Look at what has happened to
Hong Kong since nineteen ninety seven when they after one
hundred and twenty five years of British rule and they
became one of the jewels of this planet. They are
now in disarray under communist rule. That is what the

(06:45):
Chinese have planned for the entire planet. If you allow
them to become a superpower. The tariffs are desperately needed.
We got to sell it.

Speaker 5 (06:52):
Well.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
There's a reason why the age old adage is true.
The fear of loss is greater than the opportunity of gain.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
And you're right.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
You put your finger on the fear button. And I
don't know if you heard the I'm forgotten who said
it over the weekend, but he said that Donald Trump's
terror policies are going to lead us to something worse
than a recession. Now, the NBC host Kristen Welker, or
maybe it was Oli vitally put words in his mouth

(07:20):
and said it's going to lead to something worse than
the Great Depression. So she upped it for him. He
just said worse than a recession from what I heard
in the interview. Okay, but she insists is something that's
worse than the Great Depression. So if that's true, And
the Democrats say that the problem with Donald Trump's tariff's

(07:42):
agenda is that it's not clear. Is it that he's
trying to get companies to repatriate their dollars by building
factories here and hiring workers here, or is it that
he's trying to negotiate better trade percentages, policies, barriers removed

(08:04):
than the like with countries around the world. Now, plainly
the option can't be that it's both.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
I was gonna say the obvious answer is both.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
No, that can't be the answer. They want a declared,
definitive statement, on which one of their self described remedies
is he actually pushing for?

Speaker 4 (08:25):
All right, this is so frustrating because all right, let
me take you back to nineteen ninety two, the campaign
in nineteen ninety two. It comes down basically, Ross Perot
throws the campaign to Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton huge advocate
for NAFTA. Ross Perot was making the claim that NAFTA
would be bad for the middle class. And you know

(08:46):
he's up there, Bill, Bill Clinton's going, this the free
trade agreement. We thrive on competition. This is going to
create many, many middle class, high paying jobs. That is
Bill Clinton. We're gonna help the middle class that needs help.
And then ross Paro says, what the hell are you
talking about? Why would they create a middle class. They're
all going to go to Mexico. You can work for

(09:07):
twenty five percent down New Mexico.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
Why the hell would.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
They bring the jobs here?

Speaker 5 (09:11):
Well, who was right?

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Ross Perot is right? Then you look at other free
quote unquote free trade agreements. The most egregious is the
one that we've got going with China. China, when people
say we're getting aggressive, we're not worth we're mirroring what
you do to us. If I walk up and punch
Jonathan Rush in the nose, and then Jonathan stands there

(09:33):
and lets me punch him again in the nose, and
then I punch him again in the nose, and then
Jonathan finally punches me in the nose. He's not being
the a hole I am. China has been an a
hole for fifty years now.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Yeah, I mean in the school yard premise of this
and everything we need to know about life we learned
in the in the first grade. If you allowed a
kid to punch you in the face every day in
the lunch room and standing in line for your little meal,
then every day you're going to get a bloody nose.
So how long does it take you to figure out
that lunchtime tomorrow means I'm going to get a bloody nose,

(10:08):
And you got to stand up for yourself, now, ross Paro,
and but I wasn't a rocket scientist ever, certainly not
now and not as a kid. But when they started
talking about NAFTA, I know that then that huge sucking
sound that ross Boro was talking about, which he was
absolutely correct. Mexico City in particular has two classes of

(10:30):
people then and now you're either on the top of
the chain or you're at the bottom.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
There is no middle class.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
So to say that you're going to help the middle
class of Mexico was a lie. Mexico doesn't want a
middle class. They like it just like it iss So.
But we are shipping jobs plainly right across the border.
We even knew of a guy when the South lost
all their textle jobs. There was a guy from the South,
I believe from Texas who went right across the border,

(10:58):
I mean within feet of the friggin border and built
a huge textle plant. Now he was hiring everyone south
of the border because it didn't to pay him any money.
And then literally the trucks are rolling out of the driveway,
turn on right and coming across the border. So we
saw it immediately after that, and then it continued and
continued and continued. I never understood why in the world

(11:21):
it was a bipartisan vote on NAFTA. But nonetheless, there
are neighbors. Let's be nice to them, really the cartel,
and yes, they existed then because we saw movies about them.
Then we saw a movie called The Border starring Jack
Nicholson that you could re release today without adjusting the
copy of the movie or the dialogue at all the

(11:43):
same thing's been going on until Donald J. Trump, So
it's funny that it has to be. And I guess
we'll hear this conversation again. Would Donald Trump clarify his message?
What is it he's trying to do? Is he trying
to repatriate dollars and bring over even foreign owned companies
give Americans jobs with the largest Honda plant, for instance,

(12:03):
in Indiana, or is he just trying to get better
trade terms? The answer can't be both, according to the Democrats.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
And I just really feel that the White House must
do a better job of inserting urgency and even desperation
into where we're at, because right now we're the frog
and the water's getting really warm. It's not quite boiling yet,
but nobody's feeling this because look, we've created, I've said

(12:34):
it before, a safety net that feels like a hammock.
A lot of people are very comfortable here and they
don't want anything to change. When you're comfortable, you don't
want change. And a lot of Americans they were uncomfortable
as we were having exploding inflation under Joe Biden. But
in all honesty, that inflation the White House at that
time was not lying when they said it was slowing down. Now,

(12:55):
the prices were tremendously more than they had been two
or three years earlier, but inflation did slow down. So yes,
whatever you bought for ten dollars now cost twelve to
fifty and next month it's going to cost twelve to
fifty two. But at least Americans started saying, okay, now
I got to grasp on it. I got a grasp
on it.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
We're good.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Trump comes into office. Everybody's like, hey, things are looking better,
stock market is doing good, I feel pride in the USA.
Blah blah blah blah blah. Why's he got to shake
up at the apple cart? Because if we don't do
it now, you're not going to have another opportunity. Thirty
six and a half to thirty seven trillion dollars of debt.
When you look at the consumer that's the national debt.

(13:37):
If you look at what consumers owe, that's you and me,
not what do we owe the government. What do we
owe our credit cards? We're at thirty two trillion dollars.
The country is falling apart, and the mass portion of
our GDP is based on us buying crap. We don't
have any more money to buy crap. It's all gone.

(13:58):
So we got to fix the trade problem so you
can have a middle class, so you can buy, so
we can buy stuff. That's really what it is. If
you want to buy stuff, you need a middle class.
The middle class is being decimated.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
And the strange thing about the fear of loss is
that the number of people that are lining up still
against Elon musk and is growing in number, and against
Tesla and anything that must touches and YadA YadA, is
that at some point you've got to even if you're
a tried and true democrat, will stand up and say anything,

(14:30):
particularly if they hand you a sign that tells you
what to say, and hand out flyers that tell you
exactly what to chant and tell you not to talk
to the news folks with an in depth why are
you here conversation? So is that who in the world
would want to stand up for things like government waste,
fraud and abuse. How do you ever get a constituency

(14:53):
stand up for that. If it's true that you're concerned
that your mother will not be able to claim her
Social Security or get her a medicare a medicaid, then
you would think that the best thing you could do
is protect the actual funding of that so that it's
not going to people who don't deserve it. And we
found out, i think latter part of last week, how

(15:15):
many people in other countries are receiving Social Security checks.
I mean, it's just how many people that haven't been
born yet are actually receiving some type of government funding.
I mean, it's just it staggers the imagination to try
to figure out how you got somebody to go along
with this thought process unless you were just solely an
anti Trump guy or girl and you're willing to stand

(15:38):
on the street corner and yell anything, particularly if somebody
like George Soros is going to pay you.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Well, look, there's a lot of people who just take
at face value what Democrats say, and a lot of
people take Republicans at face value.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
But if you just if you.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Were to just scratch the surface of what they're claiming,
you know, for example, the reason they're so upset is
they say, you're going to cut off Social Security payments
to my elderly parents, or you're going to stop with
Medicare or Medicaid, whatever it is. You just got to
literally scratch the surface of that and say where's that written?

(16:14):
Is that written anywhere other than on liberal blogs? No,
it's no, we have a video anywhere Elon must saying that,
or Donald Trump, I mean, that's really Donald Trump anywhere?
What does Donald Trump want to do? How is he
trying to do it? And so, yes, he's trying to
He is cutting Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid and
all that. What he's cutting is the fraud. What he's

(16:35):
cutting is the waist. And like Elon Musk and others
have said, we're trying to not only strengthen these programs,
but if possible, actually increase payments to the beneficiaries who
rightly need the stuff. Now, we don't want the criminals
or even just the laysabouts to get the money. We
want to give it to the people who deserve it.

(16:55):
And that's been perverted, like many things in the Democrat Party.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
This is one of the Rachel Meadows of MSNBC and
the Jack Trappers as I call him of CNN would
tell you that we cannot take the President's oval office
or his new Cabinet meetings live because as journalists, we
can't allow someone to lie on television.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
Well, they really don't.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
What you to do is hear the truth, because he's like,
you'll point out, that's a stupid question. We're not going
to cut social security to recipients who are qualified to
receive social Security.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Well, you know, look, the Democrats are going to try
to make hay with stuff like, you know, the fun
loving dad from Baltimore or whatever who got shipped to
an L. Salvadoran prison. I mean, you know, if you
scratch the surface, was he a gang member?

Speaker 5 (17:43):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (17:44):
Now, was there a deportation hold on him going to L. Salvador,
Yes there was. There was a paperwork thing. But it's
not like this guy is pure as the driven snow
that he's out there coaching Little League and you know,
hosting the church barbecue on Sundays. That's not who that
guy was. He is a gang banger who has been

(18:06):
arrested numerous times and there was a paperwork mistake and
that's how he ended up in that prison. Now they're
going to take that and turn it into well, how
do you know then that there won't be my grandmother.
She lives completely off social Security, and you're gonna label
her because she's elderly. At one hundred and one years old.

(18:28):
You're going to say she's too old to actually be alive,
and you're gonna cut her off. How we know you're not.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
Going to do that. I do like the fact that
they came up with a number.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
They're only twelve of those one hundred and fifty that
they sent to the Il Salvador prison that actually should
have been sent out of the country because they had
committed a serious crime. Only twelve, as reported I believe
on Thursday on CNN. Now, how about the Columbia University,
not the USC Columbia, you know, although we do have
some students that made the news. Columbia University. Person who

(19:03):
is going to be deported. He's an American citizen.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
No, he's not.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
No, he is a legal resident. That does not equate
to citizen. He's here on a student visa that makes
him legally in this country. And because he's here, that
will be the word resident. He's a legal resident, not
a citizen.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Yes, and he's not attempted to become a citizen, and
he does not get the privileges of a citizen. And
he's basically a student visa means you're an invited guest.
So you've been invited into the country in order to
get higher education. We didn't have to invite him, but
we did. And he has now abused that privilege and
is working actively against the interests of the United States

(19:44):
of America. And because of that, and he will be deported.
And that's been backed up by a judge. He's had
his due process. You've had your day.

Speaker 5 (19:52):
Now.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
We had a story on the rash Thought today and
it may be that I may have to offer this
woman a public apology. No, I don't, Oh, I don't
know anything about the organization. I just read the headlines
and then read the information that's available in the newspaper article,
and then I somehow this just smacked of another one
of those five oh one C three's that were created

(20:13):
right before Biden went out of office, when his staff
reportedly was saying with like throwing gold bars off the
Titanic over here. Stacy Abrams is under investigation of what
happened there with that organization she had because she had
one hundred dollars in the bank and a five oh
one c three months before Trump takes office. Suddenly she
got how much money. It's a ton of frig and

(20:34):
money we sent to Stacy Abrams for an organization that
has full protection. It's another one of those NGOs. We
have a lot of NGOs taking a lot of government money.
How much money do you have to take before you're
no longer a non governmental agency because it sounds like
you're all governmental agency leftist.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Yeah, it's interesting how these NGOs never seem to be
really designed to try to help Americans, and then there's
all kinds of opportunities for corruption and all kinds of
other things. Not saying that that's happened in this instance.
What you've got here is a The reason it's a
South Carolina story is the headline says South Carolina woman

(21:14):
was aiding children of eighty five thousand jailed Salvadorians, then
the US support vanished. That's the headline in the posting courier.
Her name is Julie Greer Vallade, and she has been
since last year the CEO of a nonprofit called Whole Child,

(21:35):
which apparently's number one mission is to try to help
kids in El Salvador whose parents have gone to jail. Now,
I don't know why the US government, and the more importantly,
the US taxpayer finds that something that is worthy of
our tax dollars because you can find Look, if you

(21:57):
want to look around the world, I mean just look,
get the whole continent of Africa. Probably eighty percent of
those people are in a bad way. But there's Third
world countries all over the place where there's kids starving,
kids without parents, kids being abused, kids being trafficked. And
guess what, all that kind of crap is happening right
here in the United States of America. So we don't

(22:17):
even have enough money to fix our own problems. Why
are we worrying about? And by the way, how much
money we talking about? Three point six billion dollars has
gone to this organization and US eight and all that
other stuff just got shut down. So yeah, she had
to go down there to l Salvador and tell the staff.
I guess she had a staff of people working there,

(22:38):
we're not going to be able to pay anymore.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Look, she may be as pure as a driven snow
and doing everything you can to help out in a
situation that she was introduced to and thought she wanted
to stand in the gap and all that, and I
get it now, is this the only mechanism we have
to help.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
The people of that country. Is that El Salvador.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
I don't know what mechanisms we have in place to
help the people of El Salvador. And I mean, look,
if you're a Christian and your Christian organization wants to
help them, or you're just a globalist and you want
to go help some other country for whatever reasons you're motivated,
that's awesome, go do your thing. But why should the
American taxpayer be on the hook to help out l

(23:18):
saldor you know whatever. The parents have been arrested, they're
in jail. These kids are raising themselves apparently because the
government of l Salvador hasn't figured out a way to
raise kids inside a foster care program or whatever. We
should learn how to do a better job of raising
our foster kids in America because we got lots of
kids who don't have parents either, and they're not getting

(23:38):
they're not getting enough attention from the taxpayer and the
government right here in America. So again, sorry for your
problems solved. I can't say the country anymore, El Salvador.
But here in America we need to focus on ourselves.
And that's you know, the whole America First philosophy of
Donald Trump.

Speaker 5 (23:57):
And maybe I'll end up saluting this woman. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
We'll find out what organization truly does. Is it fulfilling
a need that they really need one? Was it three
point six billion dollars? Do we not send more money
through USA? I'm sure we do. We'll find that out.
Hopefully we'll have more information about this organization, in particular
about that problem, don't.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
You can go to their website, whole child dot org,
and if you're interested in supporting them, there's a donation
button right there, and you can read about the history
how it was founded in two thousand and four because
somebody named Karen Spencer identified a gap in child protection
for children that lived in orphanages around the world.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Now, but I guess I've become jaded because I've heard
too many interviews. I remember with Tucker Cross and did
one and I was praying, Dear Lord Jesus, have him
asked the question I want to hear ask and he did, oh,
and it did not go over well. And I believe
it was either the Lutherans or the Catholics. I can't
remember every but it's one of their NGO organizations in
Mexico who would go and help people cross the border. Now,

(24:55):
once they crossed the border, they would bring them and
put them in a hotel room, which is great, give
us some food. That's good. I mean, now you're helping
These are truly global citizens, as Barack Obama taught us
that they were, and you need to step into help.
And the next thing to do is they load them
up on this fifteen person passing your vans and they
take them down to the office where they sign up
for all the government entitlements they're available to get. So

(25:18):
Tucker Cross's question was, look, I'm pretty sure it was
the Catholics, because he said, I don't think that the
Catholics are hurting for money. If you want to reach
out and help people, that'd be great. Why don't you
reach out and help them with your own money. Why
is it that you have to sign them up to
take advantage of the American taxpayer because you felt like
your church and your organization wanted to make sure that
you reach out to take care of the homeless and

(25:40):
the needy from around the world. That's great if you
want to do it on your own dime, But why
would we give you American tax dollars? To help you
bring them across so that you can sign them for
yet more American tax dollars.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
And what was the answer.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Oh, he would not answer the question. He was none
too happy about that. The interview ended shortly thereafter. Really
that was several years years ago, but I remember it
because he was up at that time. Tucker Carlson was
the only person willing. They asked the question, we're giving
all this money to these NCOs for the work that
we don't even sell if we don't restrain them by
any government known to mand no government mechanism known to man.

(26:14):
Just give them the money because they're doing good works,
Kelly Well, is Stacy Abrams doing that really good works?
We already did the good works in Georgia. I mean
they reported over the weekend that the people now work
in the streets trying to make sure that everybody in
Georgia is registered to vote, or getting frustrated because everybody's
registered to vote.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
I mean, for this lady here, I mean, you can

Speaker 5 (26:40):
That need help.

Speaker 4 (26:41):

Speaker 4 (27:03):
Think we really will?

Speaker 5 (27:05):
That's well, if you're.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Right, that's not the good news yet. But we got
good news coming on Friday, but it has nothing to
do with state government.
