(00:00):
Welcome to the Jonathan and Kelly Show. Jonathan Rush Border Kelly Nash shared Adams
the New York Mary is saying anyplan that does not include stopping the flow
at the border is a failed plan. What the president has been able to
do on his own without the helpof Republicans in Congress. Again, what

(00:22):
we're doing is cleaning up the messthat the prior administration has done. The
Jonathan and Kelly Show double boc andI might add, while at the same
time bending the arc of history, can we just break that send it down
for a second, you don't mind, go ahead. So we're taking history.

(00:45):
Yeah, and we're going to bendthe arc of it. Yeah,
we're gonna bend it up or down. That was what I was going to
ask. Okay, because it lookslike the border to the US is why
it open. Yes, there's noone now living in Latin America. Central
America is completely empty. There's noone there. There was a I think

(01:11):
you saw that video yesterday that GriffJenkins posted from Fox News. Yes,
that railroad car. I mean there'sprobably what a hundred cars, and each
one probably had a hundred immigrants onit. So it's like a thousand people
all screaming, and they're somewhere inMexico or Central America coming to the border

(01:34):
and they can't wait to get here. They're not heating the call. Don't
come A Kama told him the bearOt front should have told you the border
is closed. It's closed, don'tcome, don't come here. So we
have the open border here. Yes, I would say. By the way,
he who is that what's his name? From Fox News? You just

(01:57):
had there saying any plan, Iwould say, any plan that doesn't have
Susan Collins in a bikini is abad place. For those of you who
missed it, Susan Collins is nowthreatening to show up in a bikini on
the Senate floor since Chuck Schumer onSunday quote unquote relaxed the dress code in
order to accommodate nut job fetterman sohe can wear hoodies and shorts and whatever

(02:23):
else he wants. Please tell me, the Senator, you'll be wearing high
heels with that, I would hopeso, because it is the Senate floor,
a little bit of respect here, all right, So we're dressing.
We are the most deliberated body inthe world, as they claim, is
now sinking to the lowest common denominatorfor the dress code. And I'm sure

(02:46):
he will address the Senate chambers soon. I mean, I like this one
or here, says John Fetterman's newlysanctioned slobware gives new meaning to defining decorum
with job expectations way down. Yes, okay, so let's just let's leave

(03:06):
the words written by the man whowould be the Secretary of the un Barack
Obama now searching for his fourth term, and it looks like he'll be searching
for a candidate to fulfill the puppetspace because now it seems that all the
Liberals are turning against Joe Biden runningfor reelection in twenty twenty four. He's

(03:30):
definitely not the flavor of the month. Now, how long does it take
for Gavin Newsom to step in?Or we saw a step in till he's
asked. That's true because her toinsert himself slightly kind of gave the image
that he was thinking about running,And more than one Democrat strategist came and

(03:53):
slapped him down and said this issexist and it's racist because Kamala Harris is
the heir apparent if Joe Biden can'trun. Anyone who challenges Kamala is a
sexist and a racist. You're almostas bad as Trump. Oh, you
have to wait till Biden says I'mnot gonna run, and it will be
for health reasons. But why wouldn'tyou just give it to Kamala. She's

(04:15):
already proven herself more than worthy andup for the job. Not according to
Nancy Pelosi. No, Nancy Pelosisaid, that's Joe Biden's Favorite's Joe Biden's
choice. Joe Biden's not running, that it's not his choice. But but
has she what has she done?Like? Like, what's her face?
Said the lady who calls in fromher kitchen every morning on Morning Joe,
former Claire mccaskell. She was verytouchy feely about what's his name? That

(04:43):
David Ignatius is a big column lastweek. Yes, and she said,
and she thought she really did somethingwhen she said, and I would I'd
like to do this now. Iask anyone who says Kamala Harris is not
great, what about her is notgreat? Because she is a very impressive
political figure who has risen to theattorney general level and then the senator from

(05:08):
California and now the vice president whatabout her offends you so much? And
he had nothing. He went Emmabecause he knew if you say anything to
Claire McCaskill, oh, you mightas well just canceled yourself. Well,
you could have pointed out that Iwould like to remind Claire McCaskill that during
the primary process for the presidency andthe candidates and the Democrat Party, she

(05:30):
garnered not one, not one,not one elector you sound like Trump,
for God's sake, not one.You what a sexist to bring that up
against a black woman. Are youinsane? Why do you hate black females

(05:53):
so with such a passion? Okay, well, let's if you wish you
were one, that's what it is, you wish you were a black female.
Well, let's just take the MaryMorris position on this that the Democrat
Party, apparently, if you speakout in such a way, would be
sexist and misogynistic. So who isthe black female? Is it time from
Michelle Obama? They would love Ohmy gosh, they would they would stab

(06:15):
Kamala if Michelle Obama even hinted atrunning. But no, Alas that is
a fantasy that the Democrats can't makecome true, Michelle. Why would Michelle
Obama run? They have fleeceed thecountry for hundreds of millions of dollars.
They've already fleeceed you. They liveon yacht, they live like Jay Z

(06:35):
and Beyonce. They don't need anymore. They have an unending cash supply,
and they're already world leaders. There'sno more honor that can be bestowed upon
the Obama's. At some point inthe not too distant future, will have
statues made, will have you know, their busts will be shown in all

(06:56):
libraries will now be called the ObamaLibrary. Moving forward, something to that
extent. The greatest president who's everlived, FDR is a close second,
not even a distant second. Wewill wipe out the entire George Washy did
all of the founding Fathers. Thefounding Fathers now Barack Obama because he's reimagined
America in the image that it shouldbe. Well in the effort to continue

(07:19):
to fundamentally change the United States ofAmerica, Barack Obama could be the only
person that could seal the deal becauseif he wants to remain, as you
mentioned in the basement or in thelower cabin, space of the crew of
the yacht and then speak directly toher ear so that she could recite the
words. That makes me work andit also makes her subservient to Barack Obama.

(07:43):
So you can bump that plan exactly. Yeah, So, now who
you're going to bring next, Akim, Well, we really could use a
female, that's what they're thinking.Maybe take what's her face? The new
Supreme Court justice run her really Yeah, the one who doesn't know what the
man and a woman is, gotcha, that's perfect. Oh yeah, we

(08:07):
definitely would have to have airpiece bothears. We need somebody who's under the
age of sixty and he's a blackfemale would be gorgeous. That's just gorgeous.
That's that's like the dream almost likewhen Barack was the dream fantasy.
But I'm going to say articulate.I think the Biden realizes it's going to
take a pretty big crowbar to gethim out of that position, because he

(08:28):
even said, I guess it wasyesterday or the day before. He may
not live long enough to help Hunterclean up all of his legal challenges.
I would place that bet. Now, yeah, what are what kind of
odds were getting on this? Iwould place that will have legal challenges to
the day he dies. I don'tknow if you're happen to see this in
the first place. I've seen it, and I'm sure we'll read more about

(08:50):
it now because Jesse Waters had areporter and they did like a Biden's diamonds
segment last night. Okay, Iguess the new Ice Ice Baby out of
Cyprus. So when Joe Biden wasstill Vice president, stopped off in Cyprus,
which I didn't realize. Cyprus hassuch the reputation as the biggest cash

(09:15):
laundromat in the world, but apparentlythat is their claim to fame according to
this report. Anyway, I'm surewe'll hear different reports, and we haven't
heard the mainstream media spin on theset, but apparently a lot of the
Biden money family or Biden family moneywas actually delivered in diamonds. I can't
wait to see how this continues toplay out. I don't know, I
mean, speaking of diamonds, youknow, obviously a lot of the diamonds

(09:39):
end up in China because China isthe one mining Africa. Yes, and
Joe Biden just addressed the entire planetat the United Nations and one of the
He made all kinds of brilliant statements. My favorite could be quote, we
are for de risking, not decouplingfrom China. I like that. What

(10:01):
is de risking? Well, that'swhy it's so beautiful. It's because it
has no definition. I love it. But we're not from decoupling. No,
we can't be decoupled, because whatare we gonna do. You think
you're gonna bring back all kinds ofmedical producers. You think we're gonna start
making priscilla penicillin here in this countryagain, you think we're gonna be to
make our own batteries, Well,we're trying to make We're making a lot

(10:22):
of batteries sore in South Carolina. But you think we're gonna be able to
use We can't even get the peoplein North Carolina who want to strip mind
what is it cobalt? We can'teven get permission to do that here in
the US. You have to getall your cobalts and other minerals and nutrients
needed for all of the e greenvehicles. In particular, let's get those

(10:43):
from Afghanistan, which is controlled byChina. He is all in on the
global climate change and how we needto do our part. He says,
we have to the world needs toreduce our dependence on fossil fuels in order
to climate proof the world climate proof, We're going to climate great word that

(11:05):
has no definition? What is what? Does anybody know what the hell Joe
Baden's talking about? Can somebody justcome grab him by the hand and take
him back to the work. Yeah, we're gon, We're gonna we don't
want to decouple. We want tode risk China de risk. Okay,
Now what are we gonna do with? What kind of D word are we
applying to Russia? Did he havea D word for that? I don't

(11:26):
know. I don't see any Russiacomments. But yeah, he says,
the number one threat to the worldis climate change, and we all have
to do our part. Right now, we've been accelerating the climate crisis,
he says, no, we havenot. As a matter of fact,

(11:48):
before the green energy initiatives that I'msure hunters making money off of on being
a board of some company. Beforeall of that, we had already started
to decline in our carbon footprint asa nation. We lead the world in
at least industrialized nations and reducing ourclimate footprint if we can get John Kerry

(12:09):
to park his plane would help peoplemore. But we're already leading the world
in that regard, and still Chinaand we're derisking. Does that include maybe
getting them to step down with theirbuilding of coal plants in particularly just the
coal plants India? Can we doanything about India's production of carbon? You

(12:31):
know, the thing about climate changethat is so infuriating is that it's obviously
manufactured by governments in order to fleecethe people, gain more control and get
you to surrender your freedom and oftentimesa lot of your money in order so

(12:58):
that they can have complete control. And it's it's legit manufactured. And now
you have not one, not two, not a dozen, not dozens,
you have hundreds of scientists who haveadmitted to changing their research in order to
make it appear as if global warmingwas something that was being man made created

(13:20):
because in their words, that's theonly way we can get funding, that's
right. So there they have nowadmitted to faking research in order to basically
get money from governments. Whether it'sGermany, you know, Russia, whoever,
they're all in on it. Theyall the countries love the global climate
BS and we have the scientists admittingit, and yet that story goes nowhere,

(13:48):
completely squashed. It was like inlike page nine of the Washington Post,
one paragraph, Well we covered it. What, Well, let's get
back to it's the hottest August inhistory since we've been keeping records since nineteen
fifty eight. Just in listen,do you speak? I was reminded of

(14:09):
the great historian and world leader JosephR. Biden, who told us that
it was not a nuclear threat. The greatest existential threat is global warming.
If that's the case, and realizingwe're trying to de risk and the couple,
how do you tell China and Indiathat you're more of a threat to

(14:33):
the world than Russia is to theUkraine, because that's what you said.
Well, it's the same as howa school board meeting is a COVID mass
what they used to call mass spreadthings, super spread super spreader event,
but a BLM protest offers no risk. None of that never made any sense.

(14:58):
But it's like the purity of yourgoal dictates the So if you're saying,
we want people in Vietnam to beable to live a first world lifestyle
like they deserve to, have whateverthe modern conveniences of vehicles and you know,

(15:18):
indoor plumbing and all that. Okay, we want that for them.
The people in America who've had it, you've already over enjoyed it. Yes,
you've lived your whole life with indoorplumbing in cars. It's time for
somebody else to have them give itup. I had this conversation last night

(15:39):
with Sally. What is the endgoal? I said, the end goal
is to make sure that the USis on the exact same playing field that
Barack Obama thinks we should be,which will be whatever advancements we've been able
to bring to Vietnam or pick acountry, so that we are no better
than because we need to get offour high horse. I mean, he

(16:03):
was so offended by American greatness thathe had to do a speech about it,
right and talk about how we're notthat great, you're not that special,
You're so offended by Christians. Hewanted to make sure you get off
your high horse. We're living ina post Christian nation exactly. That may
have been part of the plan, which is why we have to pay for
that, because the Christian morals andvalues are racist, sexist, and anything

(16:29):
else with an ist on it,homophobic, all of those things you oppress
people and approve that point. Illinoismade a gigantic step forward yesterday with something
ironically called the Safe hyphen T Safet Act. Again, we salute democrats
for their ability to name bills andlaws. They are great. This completely

(16:52):
eliminated cash bail in the state ofIllinois. There is no cash bail any
longer. Or why should a richguy if I'm somebody be able to get
out on a on a ten milliondollar bond, if I can afford that,
Why am I allowed access to thestreets when a guy with a drive
by murder he doesn't have even onehundred thousand to get out. That's unfair,

(17:14):
that's racist, that's classist. We'regonna even the playing grounds. All
murderers can go free. Now Idon't even know. We've already got their
information because they've been arrested on somethingprior. Why even make him ride down
to the police station. Oh it'sBilly again, all right, Bill?
Hey, look, Billy, Isaw that we're gonna have a future court
date. We're gonna melt to yourmom's house. We'll mill you a court

(17:37):
date. We've got to get finishedprocessing all these illegal immigrants first. Yeah,
they got to get their court datesexactly. We'll see you in a
little while, Billy. Now,what MSNBC wants you to know is forget
about all these things Kelly wants tobring to the table. Here's the biggest
news item of the day. Trumpused to write down to to do list
in hand to subordinate on the backof classified documents. What a moron,

(18:03):
What a maroon. So he plainlyforget about the fourteenth Amendment. You don't
even need that. Now, wegot classified documents with things with notes on
the back that were I guess thenuclear codes, wrote a dirty joke on
it and mailed it to putin hereyou go. So that's the biggest news

(18:26):
story of the day. Now they'regonna trump that no pun intended when he
addresses the United Auto Workers today,And it's interesting to see what they think
is going to come out of this. I had to look it up because
I heard it last week, andI heard thirty eight percent last week.
The internet today says forty percent, and three different news articles I referenced forty

(18:47):
percent of UAW workers voted for Trump. Forty percent. That is the highest
ever for the UAW membership to votefor a Republican, forty percent voted for
Trump. Now in the midst ofall this America is built by middle class,
and the Union is built the middleclass. Joe Biden's speech, he

(19:08):
is in serious Talespam with the UAW. They haven't even endorsed him yet.
I don't even know Biden have anendorsement yet. Oh I'm sure he does.
The United Communist Party or somebody's endorsedthat. But again, Trump is
doing what I've always thought Republicans shouldattempt to do, which is talked to

(19:30):
everybody. So like, I rememberfeeling very awkward but encouraged when Rand Paul
went and talked at Howard University, and I was like, this is like
around twelve, twenty eleven, andI was thinking, we have never seen
a Republican go to a historically blackuniversity and talk about what it means to

(19:55):
be a Republican. What does aconservative value and how does it actually benefit
you all? As you hear areDemocrats going to these black universities and saying
this is how we benefit you.We give your community money's and that I
mean, that's pretty obvious, right, Like if we were to poor.
I signed legislation, I fought forlegislation that got one hundred million dollars poured

(20:18):
into this campus, or poured intothis community, or did this for the
poor? Blah blah blah. Okay. The Republican answer to that is,
and it trapped you. You aretrapped. They have now put shackles on
you. When Joe Biden said they'regoing to try to put you all back
in chains, you are in chains. If you are receiving government benefits right

(20:44):
now, you're in chain. Andthat doesn't even matter what level you're at.
I hate to say that, butif you're like an elderly person and
you're receiving Medicare or whatever, youknow, you're in chains. You don't
have the ability to get off Medicare. Now you are stuck. And so
the government decides we're lowering the benefits. What you going to do about it?

(21:06):
We're even deciding which procedures we're goingto continue to cover. Yeah that's
not covered. Oh I'm so sorryyou caught that thing. Yeah that doesn't
really make financial sense for us.So you're out. But hey, look
great life, wasn't it. Youhad a good time here? If you
don't believe that the government is tryingto again reduce the coverage or eliminate certain
procedures from the actual coverage itself, take a look at Medicare advantage. My

(21:29):
mom before her death explained to mewhy you don't want medicure advantage because I
was going through all of her benefitsand stuff, and we're looking through her
finances and stuff, and she said, Nanda, you you have Medicare A,
B and C. No, Ido not have C. That's Medicare
advantage. You don't want that. And she gave me like a twenty minute
lecture on why you don't want thatat the age of eighty nine. And

(21:53):
again, I mean, just whatyou were explaining. We have companies now
that their job is to try tofigure out which Medicare program will work best
for you. That's how complex thishas become. Yes, it's like your
taxes. They're so complex. Thegovernment designs things to be very confusing and

(22:14):
then says, well, let ushelp you. And then that's another way.
I mean, it's not the way. It's a way for them to
screw you over and keep you oppressed. And so I just getting back to
my original point, I love thefact that Ryan Paul started at Donald Trump
came to Benedict College made a speech. I love the idea of them reaching
out and trying to explain to traditionalDemocrat voters. I understand why what your

(22:40):
attraction was to the Democrat Party. You thought it was going to help your
community. They tell you, andyou believed them, and it happens.
Yeah, I mean, and it'sbeen. But the reality is you have
had a lifetime to watch Democrat policiessince the mid sixties when they legit took
over every major city in this country. How are the major citi's behaving right
now or how are they performing? They are all failing in every state in

(23:04):
the country. Florida's big cities arefailing. I hate to say that,
but they are. So are George's. So are everyone's. If you go,
it doesn't matter where you live.If Democrat policies are in place,
everyone there suffers, And so whywould you want to continue with these policies.
Republican policies free up those who cancreate money, create wealth for their

(23:26):
family, create independence, and atthe same time rises the living benefits for
the people who are the hang alongs. The tag alongs the people who failed,
and as Kelly mentioned, the UnitedAutoworkers certainly play into that mindset absolutely.
So. Now when Trump speaks tothe United Autoworkers today, what do
you think he's gonna say? VoteTrump? What the hell outs you got

(23:51):
to lose? What do you haveto lose? Yeah, I mean almost.
I didn't be interesting to see whathis pitches, but I mean he's
obviously he is, because we allknow that Tesla is eating the big car
company's lunch when it comes to electricvehicles. Tesla is basically saying, though
we're not even making a profit onthese vehicles. We're basically a break even

(24:15):
company. We use it for marketingfor other things and so on and so
forth, but as far as thevehicles go, we barely, if at
all, make a profit. You'relooking at like Ford and General Motors and
these other companies that have a tonof government incentives and they're losing their tails
on electric vehicles. And the governmenthas said you got to go two thirds

(24:37):
electric and then the next three orfour years YEA, Well, what is
that going to do to the UnitedAuto Workers? They're going, what's that
going to do to Forward's bottom line? They're drowning in debt. Yeah,
nobody's buying these cars so well, they're unsustainable. As another problem, you
couldn't legit give a lot of peoplean electric vehicle because they can they can't

(25:00):
use it. I can't. Mywife has a hybrid. So it's you
know, it's you can use electricor you can use gas. Now,
on the electric side, I thinkit only gets like it can only go
for something like thirty miles on afull charge if it's all electric. But
if you've got an all electric vehicle, top range on these vehicles is somewhere

(25:23):
between two hundred and three hundred miles, right, depending on what a very
small one. Yeah, that's that'swhat you're getting. So if you can
only go three hundred miles, andI've got to drive to wherever I got
to go to Jacksonville to visit yourson, I can't go there unless I
know where there's charging stations. Andthose charging stations are going to have to

(25:45):
be the very high speed ones.Like if you go to the R two
I two building in Richland County,Yeah, that takes like four hours to
charge of my wife's vehicle takes fourhours to charge the right So Tesla would
I'll be taking like six or sevenhours to charge. Who has got six
or seven hours to charge a vehicle? And if there's there's only like four

(26:07):
pumps there, of all four beingused, I gotta wait three or four
hours and and then I hope I'mnext in line. That's right, there's
no there's no infrastructure for this.Think about this for a second, one
of Joe Biden's big pitches, andwere already got the money designated for this,
and it's an unbelievable the amount ofmoney we're gonna run power in order

(26:29):
to to not not the What isit is three different facilities for starge charging
your car. The first, thefirst grade is let's call it level one,
So level once what you have inyour car board. Yeah, you
plug that in and it takes twelvehours it's in there an door. Level
two is about a third of thattime. And then Level one is the
really high high charge. Yeah it'sa quick charge, but that's quick at

(26:53):
twenty minutes. Yes, but here'sthe thing in order to carry that much
amperage to get to the level one. Yeah, I mean you're talking about
the tremendous infrastructure build out and theywant to build that down all the interstates
in America so they can put themat rest areas, and like, okay,

(27:14):
can you imagine how expensive it's gonnabe to lay and there's no fiber
optic can carry it. Brother, you gotta put down you gotta put down
power cables. And let's just imaginethat it was free. That if somehow
there was a sprinkle ferry dust whosaid it was a ten trillion free,
I give it to you. Wheredo you get the electricity from when you

(27:37):
already have states to enrolling brownouts?Well that's the next question. So you're
gonna connect now all these interstate chargingstations. When you pull into a charging
station, how many cars in thevarking lot would you guess? You typically
see, Oh, I never looked. I'm going to guess somewhere between thirty
and forty. Okay, could bemore peak hours, I don't know.

(27:59):
But let's say you have ten ofthose. I don't know how you can
lay down much more cable infrastructure wiseto carry more than ten for a level
one, so you're still going totake twenty minutes for your car to charge.
So you're gonna put down five ofthose? This is it is logistically
it is. It's it's not doable. It's just totally impossible. We don't

(28:19):
have even if it was all freeand it was all done, we don't
produce enough electricity to charge two thirdsof the nation's vehicles as electric vehicles.
The other problem is, once youlay the cable, what the hell do
you think, where is this energygoing to come from? Yeah, you
don't have it, So it's inand again it's like the Green New Deal
Pike dream. It's just a dream. Now. I'm not an educated man.

(28:42):
I know enough about electricity that Iknow don't ever mess with two twenty.
I don't mess with two twenty.I can wire one tim without turning
the pot, without killing the circuitbreaker, and replace the light switch without
a problem. Because I get alittle this is quite frankly, I like
that a little bit, but Iknow not. But when you're talking about
moving that much ampage for that far, you're going to have to have a

(29:06):
tremendous energy source in order to beable to do that. We don't have
that energy source because we're now relyingon solar and wind. So it is
a complete waste of money. Whenyesterday we just hit thirty three trillion in
national debt. And you know,I also think that it's important to recognize

(29:27):
what you're talking about when you're talkingabout electric vehicles, how it's impossible and
you can't actually do it, Likethat's not it's not feasible, it's not
technology that's on this earth yet liketo do all that. I was reading
a report the other day talking aboutmillennials have become the first generation that the

(29:51):
experts who look at these types ofthings, this is the first generation in
over a thousand years that they expectwill act. Actually, their life quality
is expected to decline. So ifevery person who's ever lived for a thousand
years, your life may not havebeen better than your parents, but your

(30:15):
generation's parents, your generation had moreaccess to healthcare, quality foods, cleaner
water, whatever, It gets betterevery generation for every generation. My generation
has it better than my parents. My parents had it better than their parents.
Maybe not like I said individually, but we all as a culture had

(30:36):
a better experience or better opportunities. This is the first generation in a thousand
years that, the because of governmentregulations, is expected to have less quality
in their lives, meaning less accessto power, less access to jobs,
less access to healthcare. It's allgoing in the wrong direction. And it's
not Joe Biden's fault. It's theworld's governments that think like Joe Biden and

(31:03):
I want to throw in something else. You're gonna you're not gonna have the
nutritional level that we had in previousgenerations. Get a mouth full of bugs.
Yeah, you're gonna have bugs. You're gonna have Bill Gates laboratory meat.
Yeah, that fake meat. Yeah. We are on the wrong track.
There is not one track of governmentthat's headed in the right direction.
Now, this is a weird sideoff. But I was talking to a

(31:26):
guy I won't say his name.You know him though. He's a He's
a pretty high powered attorney around town. And we were talking the other day
about cooking. And he is afantastic cook and he makes all kinds of
things. He has his own gardenand does all these types of things.
Really into the food. We werejoking about TikTok. He loves TikTok because

(31:47):
it's got all these videos about recipes. Sure, And he said to my
wife, have you noticed all ofthe TikTok videos are now about making chicken?
And she said, I have noticed, and he goes, I think
this is not some dummy, Thisis not a moron. This is a
guy who's very intelligent. Interest hesaid, I believe that the algorithm is

(32:10):
being set to try to feed uson low cost proteins to get us away
from steak and beef and other typesof things that cost more money, because
it's going to become more and morescarce as we move forward. And I
was like, he goes, prettysoon, I'm expecting the bug recipes to
start being introduced into the algorithm.Look what you can make with a cricket.

(32:31):
Look at all this stuff you canget with grasshoppers. Speaking of grasshopers,
just as another side note, Isaw a meme the other day that
I kind of just laughed off.And then in particular, when I went
to the country and drove back intothe city, have you noticed, in
comparison to when you were a kid, how few bugs there are on your

(32:54):
car windshield? I have not noticed. That I grew up in Connecticut.
We probably had a lot less bugsdown than you guys had down here.
Oh I'm sure. Yeah, Buteven going to the country driving at night,
usually you would collect all kind ofbugs. Hm. My dad mentioned

(33:14):
in Florida. You nearly had tostop and clean it with one of those
squeechs, you said, the gasstation. Now, the first time that
I visited my stepfather in Florida,I don't remember the year. I was
probably in my mid twenties, Iguess, And I remember he lived in
Orlando, and I got off theplane, got into his car, and

(33:35):
we did have to put the windshieldwipers on because he said, it's like
love bug mating season. And Ithe love bugs were like these two bugs
that would get attached down in thatarea central Florida, and they were trillions
of them day and night. Youcouldn't get away from those things. And
he said, it's like a threeweek thing that happens every year. Wow.

(33:57):
But then you know the last timehe passed a way I want to
say about six seven years ago now, And I remember the last time I
saw him, which was maybe amonth before he passed. I was driving
from Tampa to Orlando, and itwas that time of the year, so
there were love bugs. But Iremember saying to him, it seems like
a lot less love bugs than whenI remember they go down every year.

(34:21):
There's a noticeable difference than the fewbugs that gets stuck to your windshield in
the country in South Carolina. Yetare we spray in what are we spray
in on this corn? What arewe spraying on all these fields the soybeans?
Joe Biden tell you it's global warming. Do you know something? I'm
sorry, what an idiot? It'sglobal warming killing the bugs can't stand the

(34:44):
heat. Well, then what arewe gonna do with Bill Gates bug recipes?
We gotta We're not gonna have enoughbugs to sustain ourselves. You know
the funny thing, And I thinkI've mentioned this on this podcast before.
I was listening to a guy whomentioned that human beings are the only things
on the Earth that are so adaptable. You can find us everywhere on the

(35:07):
Earth. You can find a humanbeing at the bottom of the sea.
We can find at the top ofany mountain, Mount Everest, you can
find us on the moon. Wecan adapt to anything. So as a
human being, you shouldn't be worriedabout climate change. Climate change is going
to happen, and is happening, and has happened. We've had the earth

(35:29):
completely flooded, We've had it completelyfrozen. I mean, there's so many
things and human beings are still here. We've figured it out and we will
figure it out. But if youput limitations on how we can figure it
out, like what the government's tryingto do. You can't have air conditioning,
that's bad. Well, now it'sone hundred and eighty degrees and we're

(35:52):
all dead, but at least theearth is protected. Well we know,
I think for sure, if wekeep pushing to do away with fossil fuels,
global warming is coming and it's startingin your den because it's gonna be
hot as hell in there.
