from Fox News said eleven point onepercent of Baltimore high school graduates are not

proficient in math or are proficient inmath. Right. The rest of them
don't know what eleven point one percentmeans, which is amazing. You're a
high school graduate, you have noidea about percentage. We got so much
it's like trying to drink out ofa fire hydrant around here. Where the
news coming down, particularly as wedo the countdown to the government shutdown and
then we got we can't even keepup with the head count to come across
the border and look at this,kell him Ash, Welcome to the studio.

Congressman Joe Wilson, Good morning,sir, Good morning. It's great
to be with you. Man.You have your plateful today. Congress has
got This is going to be apivotal five days because we're dealing with the
dead ceiling. You've been had,You've had your hands full with battles all
across the Senate and the House.Chronologically speaking, where would you pick?
The most important thing is that thegovernment. It's got to be the government
shutdown coming. You're Jonathan correct again. You and Kelly are ahead of the

curve so many times, and thatis that we are five days from a
government shutdown. Now. I reallyappreciate last week when Constin Norman was with
you that he explained that what weneeded to do and what he voted for
on Thursday, and what I votedfor was a an agreement to have defense

authorization considered and then we would havethat sent over to the Senate, and
then at the Senate rejected it,it would be clear that they were responsible
for the shutdown. As identified byConison Norman. This was a proposal that
actually former Senator Jim DeMint had proposed, and so sadly, as the vote

proceeded. The day before, wehad a two and a half hour conference
meeting where everybody in the conference wasinvited to speak and explain their positions in
regard to the Defense Authorization Bill.And so the Speaker McCarthy let everybody speak.
Some of them were very critical ofhim, and he took it.

He didn't take it personally at all. He said, let's get this addressed,
and so over and over every effortwas made by the Speaker to address
whatever concerns people had, and theagreement was that we would vote. This
was on Wednesday afternoon and Ralph wasthere. That's where Ralph indicated he was
changing his vote with the understanding thatwe would make every effort to continue every

effort to reduce spending. And sothen when the vote came on, thirsty
five Republicans voted with the Democrats andwe lost. And so it was really
such a disappointment because now we trulyare heading to a shutdown, and there's
no way to see a shutdown aspositive for our country, and that what

happens is that the news media willcover that Republicans are not able to govern
because we had five out of twohundred and twenty one who voted I believe
incorrectly, but I really stand withthe two hundred and sixteen that we have
who are understand that the art ofthe possible, that we should be voting

for the best bills we can.And I brought you all a copy of
the bill that it looked like JonathanRush wrote it with all of the different
items in there, and this also, and so I'll shut down. What
happens is that the complicit media,which is ninety six percent now Democrat,
will say that Republicans hate people andthat they are shutting down government to deny

services like passports, deny any otherany service that is really important people.
That's what's cut shut down. Okay, not the government. Workers will still
be paid if they do come intowork. And then equally significant, the
night that they're shut down occurs isa spectacle in Washington because that's the night

they put up fences around all ofthe monuments in Washington, like the World
War Two Memorial, which is anopen memorial, and they put double fences
around it with locks on it.Equally bizarre is that Martin Luther King memorial
which is on the title basin.You would think it would be in possible
to put a fence around it.Well, they figured out how to put

two fences around it, and thenthey put giant signs. They have them
preprinted. They're waiting clothes due toshut down, and so to impact real
people who are coming to Washington toshow their affection for their loved ones,
for this nation. And so ashutdown is not positive. And so we

will be going back on Tuesday,and I'm just so hopeful that common sense
will prevail. But we've got somepeople who truly enjoy quarreling. They enjoy
seeing their name in the paper,they enjoy being heard Congressman Joe Wilson on
the Jonathan and Kelly Show. Andironically, they're able to build these fences,

these walls, so to speak,so quickly, yet they go out
of their way to cut down thefences in Texas. In't that heartbreaking?
Because indeed, you suggest a momentago which I thought was pretty ahead of
the curve, and that is thatit wouldn't surprise me if the Biden administration
didn't cut down the fence and thewire that the State of Texas has put

up to protect the people of Texasand then ship that up to Washington and
put around the monuments. And youwould think that's lunacy. No, that's
the way these people are thinking.And indeed, we're trying so hard to
get to an agreement between the FreedomCaucus and the Main Street Coalition, which

are the Moderates and the Republican Party. They've come up with a thirty day
agreement for a concurrent resolution which includesborder security if ever we needed border security,
and I have been saying now formore than two years. I was
at Del Rio two years ago atthe border and when I asked how many
people across on the Terrace watch listswith a straight face, they said,

we cannot tell you. And Ibut we didn't give up. Every meeting
that I would go to, aswe would have meetings on the border,
I would say how many people onthe Terraces watch lists across? They finally
acknowledged a year and a half agoit was two hundred. Well, I
think it could be two hundred amonth now because of how open the border

is and what a danger that isto every American citizen. These terrorists are
highly skilled, well paid, highlyeducated mass murderers. These are not your
garden variety folks who are just causingtrouble. These they know, and they've
studied American society where crowds are located, where they can create the largest mass

panic, to kill the maximum numberof Americans. And for the President to
keep the border open. In humantrafficking, I'm so proud of South Carolina.
We're one of the best states inthe country. Addressing children being brought
across is human trafficking. And yousee these children, and that's what so
said. This is And then youhave the all coming across, killing one

hundred thousand Americans, enriching the drugcartels and enriching the Chinese Communist Party,
and somehow President Biden is simply,hey, they look at this is perfectly
clear. They look at when yousee these masses of people coming in,
we look at people invading in ourcountry. They look at as low information

voters. You know, one ofthe things you mentioned a few minutes ago
is how the media really has becomethe publication arm of the Democrat Party.
So let's just take a couple ofthings we're going to hear repeatedly about if
we have a government shutdown, certainlygoing to hear between now and the time.
But that's a possibility because either waythis is great fodder for them.
So the Republicans are voting against bordersecurity? Answer that one for me for

persons who will hear this at nauseumthis week, And that's absolutely not true,
and that Republicans have made all ofthe proposals that have been pending or
voted on with border security. Democratspose nine and so, but it can
be taken out of context when wecan't even get to a vote as the
current thirsty that it could be reversedthat Republicans have joined with two hundred and

nine Democrats to actually not secure theborder. But that's only five at a
two hundred and twenty one. We'retalking with our Congressman Joe Wilson. One
of the tweets that you had putout, I guess last week was talking
about the president of Iran and justas appearance here, what does that say

about America. I'm in a stateof shock about the whole thing. I
wish you hadn't brought it up.And that is that two weeks ago today.
I remember I was on my wayto the Lexington Chamber of Commerce to
speak at the breakfast and I heardabout the Biden administration giving six billion dollars
as a ransom to release five IranianAmericans. And to me, they're paying

for I eed s it killed ourtroops around the world, not just in
Afghanistan and Iraq. They're paying fordrones to kill Americans around the world,
to kill the maximum number of Ukrainiansin collaboration with Vladimir Putin. But the
thought that he would be allowed tocome and he should not have been allowed

to come to the United Nations.But it shows again the corruption of the
United Nations and it can't be countedon. And when you have the Chinese
Communist Party in Vladimir Putin having vetocapability, that organization truly is not serving
as it was intended. And soI would favor withdrawal from the United Nations.

You know. One of the otherthings the media is going to make
a lot of fodder, a lotof a lot of haye with this week
is the fact that given that wehave the government shut down, a lot
of the questions now for House memberson the Democrat side is will you support
Speaker McCarthy if he loses some ofthe support and the Republicans who are pushing
back on his agenda as they havemischaracterized it, as you say. So

now we've got the Democrats now offeringa fig leaf, and I love it
because every time they ask a Democratthat they always include this phrase. If
there are certain concessions, certainly wecould do that. One of the things
that the Democrats have always been ableto do that Republicans have not been able
to benefit from is the woo Democratsover to their side of an argument,

particularly in the Senate. So thatyou've got Democrats senators excuse me, Republican
senators who have voted for Democrat initiativesthat end up really they stumbled on themselves,
but the media covers it up forhim well. And actually, again
your heads a curve. There couldbe a vote on U with the UH

speakership and UH, and it couldbe that Democrats would be voting for Speaker
McCarthy. Uh. The whole dangerof this is just inconceivable that he would
have to make concessions. I don'tthink he would, and so we could
go without a speaker for some significantperiod of time. I just have faith
in Keim McCarthy. But also,uh, you know, it's said the

environment we're in the Democratic parties movedso forward to the left, Honathan.
There are no blue dogs left andso uh and so on so many issues.
You would think there'd be a groupof maybe five Democrats that are off
the reservation. Uh no, Uh, they're the four Left has gotten them

so incarcerated that and each and hey, great people have lost. Joe Crowley
lost to a four Left candidate inNew York. My friend Elliott Engel,
the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, was defeated in a Democratic primary by
four Left. And then Dan LeapinskyChicago, the only pro life member of

Congress who was a Democrat, wasdefeated in the last cycle. So over
and over again, they are purgingthe Democratic Party and their far left extremists.
So there's just not people that wecan work with on domestic issues.

The Biden administration, not just thepresident, but the entire administration is

not only tasteless, filled with lies, but they all seem criminal in their
activities against the United States. JamesComer says that we are close to an
impeachment of Joe Biden. Are wheredo you think we are with that,
Congressman? Well, the good newsis that again Speaker McCarthy has authorized a

impeachment inquiry to begin on Thursday.I believe that again this is a reflection.
Can you believe Jonathan was right thatthe media has covered this up?
If I were a reporter, Ithink I would. I'll tell them where
to go. They can go tothe Secretary of State's office in Delaware and
look up lllc's and all of these. I believe they're like twenty two LLC's

that the members of the Biden familyhave, and they should wouldn't take a
rocket scientist to look into each LLCand find out what is their business?
Well, their business is influenced peddling. I feel like if we went through
the Joe Biden closet, we wouldfind it filled with cash. Like Bob
Menendez is called, they would justhave a cold bars rolls of cash.

Now and hey, I heard iton the way here a radio station local
in this building and they were talkingabout policy and watching it live differently.
No, we hey, most ofus, the vast majority do not.
Okay. My wife rocks Hand stillis questioning why I don't have ninety thousand

dollars wrapped in aluminum foil and thepreaser like like the Democratic congress person from
Louisiana. But we that's that's justnot the lifestyle, okay. And then
I've never seen a gold bar inmy life. Okay, Well, it
could be the lifestyle if we're willingto sell out the nation. And hey,
sadly, there's no question the corruptionof the Biden family, the five

million dollars from the CCP to Joeand the Hunter. I mean, it's
just it's so sad to me.The Indeed Comra has identified almost twenty million
dollars that has been provided through influencepeddling to the Biden family, and one
of our other South Carolina representatives saysshe's seen Nancy May says she's seen documentation

that leads to leads her to believeit is north of fifty million dollars.
Well, and I thought that JoeBiden. Many people are trying to cover
it up from the mass media,and other persons are laughing at his inability
to communicate, you know, whichis not unusual. But over the weekend

here's a guy I would like tohave an opportunity to go toe to toe
with because I'm slightly younger than him. He's much bigger than me, and
I gotta I got a bigger dogin the fight inside me than I believe

the surrender in Afghanistan, the murderof thirteen young Americans which could have

been avoided, and General Millie wouldbe the one who actually ultimately should be
responsible for the rules of engagement.Sure nine to nine the sniper, the

tie with your jacket with the Americanflag, and tell me you solely believe
one percent that mark that Millie islying about what Donald J. Trump said

us. And if we had ninetysix percent of American media look making up

accusations against Trump and his quote unquotedisdain for the military. You know,
they make up these stories about himcalling people who volunteers losers and all these

really appreciate him what he did.Okay, he avoided Ukraine, he sent
Davlin missiles to Ukraine. He putAmerican troops in Poland, he stopped North
Stream two. If he had beenpresident, the war criminal and Putin would

the lowest level of unemployment ever forAfrican Americans, for Hispanics, for Asian
Americans, for young people, forwomen in a country, the opportunity by
cutting taxes. And then then it'sso sad to me where this ware talk
radio is important now, and thatis when they talk about him being a
threat to democracy, He's the oppositeof that. He was trying to devolve
