lobbyist of some kind. And howis it possible if you don't live in

be with you. Well, goodmorning, Congressman. I mean, it's
been a wild weekend in Washington.We're recording this with you first thing Monday
morning, and everybody's talking about thismotion to possibly get rid of the Speaker

of the House. So where doyou come down on that? That's just
a distraction. Matt's been talking aboutthis. I'm a good friend his Look,
we've got more important things to doin Congress. You know, we
major in the minor so many times, and the major issue we have is
spending. The fact that we're ona forty five day time limit, that's
where we've got to have our focus. I hope he won't do it because

being on replace him with who canget to do in an eighteen there's no
one right now. The things athand are funding this government and then putting
some kind of limits on the board. That's the most serious problem we face
in this country today. That's whatwe'll be discussing hopefully. Well what do

shut down government bring pain on Americans. You got to remember this government business
is down for a year and ahalf. They kept children out of the
schoolrooms for a year and a half. So we've got to come up with
a spending number that's conservative exactly.We've got to appropriation bills done and send

fear factor that the government may haveto go on to tipperad recess, we
can continue to spend money like wehave spent it, and so that's what

a guy named Jamal Bowman, legitpulled a fire alarm to try to stop
the vote. Now he's saying hedidn't understand that if I pulled the fire
alarm, a fire alarm would gooff. That's one of the weakest excuses
I've ever heard. Are you insupport of treating this guy like an insurrectionist?

was in the Cannon building when hedid that. They got a picture of
him doing that. I had ameeting with a family with an autistic child
and we got to go down astairway that was too steep for some seventy

I don't know what the cost isgoing to be per immigrant, but I
know that our budget can afford thatmany new dependents every day. Well,
I tell you what I mean,the interest alone for your listeners is over
twenty thousand dollars per second. You'vegot every agency from the away Trust funds,

so security medicate bankrupt in a shortmatter of time. There will be
in a matter of short years wherethe interest on the debt will exceed the
military budget of eight in twenty sixbillion dollars every twelve months. I mean,
it's a six issue that if wedon't get control of then we the

outcome is not at all for Americans. And if it takes a pause in
government ending, that's what we haveto do to pay this country. And
I hope McCarthy wished that, andI hope that we can get across the
board, it's not. You know, the American people don't care speaker.

short term deal? How do yousee this thing playing out over the next
few weeks. What the powers andI would guess they want to do is
just extend this again through December.That's the playbook. Is typically extended another
thirty days through right at Christmas andthen pass some monstrosity of a bill that

is just more spending. That's howit's done in Washington, DC. We
have got to break that. Iwill not be voting for any more extension
for any reason, because we've gotto get it handled. I do think
in a good note we will getthe twelve appropriations out. You will be
going line eye and my line eye. And that's one thing we fought for

in January That's why we withheld ourvotes from the Speaker, is to make
sure that public knows where the money'sgoing and not have some omnibus spinning bill
that you don't know where it's going. Now's the time to handle it,
and I hope and pray that wecan we do that. I'm I and

know the game of politics a lotbetter than I. But it seems like

crisis go to waste. If youhave to manufacture one, if we can
push it all the way to theend of the year, like they did
Obamacary, even to go to ChristmasEve and pass it at midnight, that

it to a crisis point so theycan blame Republicans. I don't know if

it. I mean they do isit was planned for in mid November when
Thanksgivings coming, and that the excusetell you, and what we need to
do, put a bill on thefloor that under any shutdown that our servicemen,
our military veterans get paid and youknow, the flight the flight attendants

got to have a contry. Atthe end of forty five days. There
should be no more extensions. Thereshould be no more taking shutting down government
or for off the table. It'sgot to be there, and you keep

don't, we're doing a service toevery American in this country. And if
we don't get this border shut down. I mean that, I mean Carolina
holds eighty some thousand people that's happeningcoming into this country and we just can't.
