"Just because something is meant to be doesn't mean it's going to flow and be easy." These words from Christian Stone capture the essence of what makes his approach to Reiki business development so refreshing and authentic. As the founder of the Reiki Business Collective, host of Build Your Reiki Business podcast, and creator of the Reiki Business Summit, Christian brings a wealth of practical wisdom to practitioners navigating the sometimes challenging path of turning their healing gifts into sustainable businesses.

Christian's mission to help build 10,000 Reiki businesses for a better world stems from a profound belief that more practitioners can create a massive shift toward compassion, mindfulness, and healing globally. His journey began in 2014 when Reiki found him (not the other way around), and what started as a personal spiritual practice transformed after helping a friend through crisis with distance Reiki. That pivotal experience revealed Reiki's potential beyond self-healing.

Throughout our conversation, Christian addresses common misconceptions about Reiki—particularly that it's limited to hands-on healing rather than a complete system of practices. He compassionately discusses the tendency for practitioners to compare their journeys to others, reminding listeners that each person's path unfolds uniquely. For those feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of starting a Reiki business, his message is clear: be gentle with yourself, expect challenges, and know you're not alone.

What makes Christian's guidance so valuable is his teacher's spirit, breaking down complex business concepts into actionable steps through his podcast, Facebook community, and books including "Reiki Business Ready." He emphasizes that your Reiki business doesn't need to look like anyone else's to be successful—in fact, embracing your distinctive gifts and approach might be precisely what your future clients need.

Whether you're considering starting a Reiki business or looking to grow your existing practice, Christian's resources, including his free Reiki Biz Kit, provide practical support for practitioners at any stage of their journey. Discover how your healing gifts can create both personal fulfillment and positive change in the world.

I'm Christian Stone, and when I became a Reiki practitioner in 2014, I never dreamed I'd start a Reiki business. I learned Reiki for my personal spiritual development and never would have guessed I'd one day own my own thriving business. As a matter of fact, when my Teachers talked about Reiki business topics in my training, I didn't think it would ever apply to me.

We never know how our Reiki journey might unfold, though, and after a few years, I knew I felt called. I also had no clue what I was doing and had a lot to learn. Maybe this sounds familiar because I know that you, too, might have challenges, questions, or hesitations with getting started and growing...even when you, too, know you are called.  | testimonials

That's why I founded the Reiki Business Collective, created the Reiki Biz Kit, created the Build Your Reiki Business program, and started the Build Your Reiki Business podcast.

Well, thank you, tracy, tracy so much.
I am so honored to be here withyou and so honored to have
everyone tuning in.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
So thank you everyone all right, well, let's begin
our journey together.
So I let our listeners knowjust a little bit about you, so
tell us, tell us about yourself.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Sure Tracy.
Thank you so much.
Well, tracy, I don't know aboutyou, but my guess is that you
are probably interested in aworld with more compassion.
Is that true?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I would probably say so yes.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
And how about a world with more mindfulness and
presence?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
And a world with more growth and healing, love and
all of those good things.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
That sure would sound nice, wouldn't it?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yes, I agree and I believe that those things are
possible with Reiki, and that'swhy my mission is to help build
10,000 Reiki businesses for abetter world, because I know
that I would love to see a worldwith more compassion, more
presence, more kindness, moregratitude, more love, more

(03:17):
growth and healing.
And I do believe that that ispossible with Reiki.
You know, my Reiki journeystarted back in 2014.
That's when I became a Reikipractitioner.
And when I became a Reikipractitioner, my goal with the
experience was for my ownpersonal and spiritual

(03:39):
development and I was notplanning to use Reiki for others
definitely was not planning tohave a Reiki business.
But I had a friend who called meup one day and she was going
through a major life change.
She had experienced a job loss, she had no idea what was going

(04:00):
to happen or where to turn, andshe just felt just like her life
was in shambles.
And as she was telling me onthe phone about her experience,
I was like Reiki, you need Reiki.
And so we scheduled a distantReiki session and that was my
first distance Reiki sessionwith my friend.

(04:21):
She had such an impactfulexperience.
It was life-changing for herand to me, reiki had been
something that I wanted to usejust for myself Reiki myself
Reiki, my garden Reiki, my homeand use it for my own spiritual
well-being.
But it was in that experiencethat I really had the idea of

(04:44):
just how impactful Reiki is andjust how have more people being
helped by Reiki.
And I don't know about you, butI think that if we can create

(05:11):
10,000 Reiki businesses, we cancreate a massive shift in the
world where did that number comefrom for that 10,000?

(05:37):
That's a great question, tracy.
So you know, when I wasthinking about my vision for
that amazing world and all ofthe great shifting that we can
do together, I thought, okay, weneed a really big number, I
want a really big number.

(05:58):
And I thought, well, 1,000,that's not big enough, and 1
million like that's too big.
And so I was like 10,000,that's not big enough, and 1
million like that's too big.
And so I was like 10,000, yes,10,000 is doable and it's going
to have a major impact.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Beautiful, beautiful.
So would you say that Reikifound you or you found Reiki?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
You know this is so common among us, isn't it?
You know that Reiki found me.
We all say, most of us say, andabsolutely 1000%, tracy, reiki
found me.
So, like I mentioned, I becamea Reiki practitioner in 2014.
And at that time, I was aprofessor at a community college

(06:44):
and as part of being a teacherand staff member at the
community college, I was able totake classes at the college and
so I've always been interestedin woo-woo kinds of things,
spiritual things, the cardreading and the meditation and
the spiritual stuff.

(07:04):
As a matter of fact, many yearsbefore, I was the editor of a
holistic magazine and I hadactually, at that time, written
myself a note to find andinterview a Reiki practitioner
for the magazine.
Even though I didn't know whatit was, I'd heard it, seen it

(07:27):
written somewhere and was likewrote myself a note, find an
interview a Reiki practitionerto write an article.
So, years later, 2014, I'm atthis community college and they
offer classes on all kinds ofthings like card reading and
mediumship and all kinds ofother cool classes.

(07:50):
So I took those cool classesand one day a colleague came to
me and she said, christian,we're teaching Reiki this
semester.
And I was like she obviouslythought I knew what it was.
I was like, oh, we're teachingReiki, like you know, you're
going to take that right.
And so she walked away and Iwas like Reiki, what is that?

(08:12):
So I got out the course catalogand I read the description and I
was like, yeah, I'm going totake this class.
And so Reiki found me in theway that it had to, you know,
because I was already takingthose classes, already
interested in all of thosetopics.
I had heard of Reiki many yearsago but still did not know what

(08:36):
it was.
And so it was through thatclass that my Reiki journey
began.
Now, as it so happens, yearsafter I took that class and was
a Reiki practitioner, I wasgoing through some old notes,
old files on an old computer, and I found that note to myself

(08:58):
to find and interview a Reikipractitioner.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
And there I was a Reiki practitioner and there I
was Amazing, amazing.
I'm sure you look back andnever imagine that you would be
where you are today Unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Yes, for sure, Tracy, and I think that many of us can
say that and when I say many ofus, I mean many of us, no
matter what our journey is andwhere our path takes us.
But I think many of us,especially as Reiki
practitioners, can say wow, wenever expected to be here.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Right, so you are founder of the Reiki Business
Collective.
You host a podcast to buildyour Reiki business.
You are an author, you are thecreative energy behind the Reiki
Business Summit.
So, as you are out, navigating, encouraging, supporting others,
what is a common misconceptionyou find about Reiki?

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Yeah, great question, tracy.
Thanks for this question.
And first, there are many right.
So we know, as Reikipractitioners, in our
discussions with others, we knowthere are lots of
misconceptions, and there areeven lots of misconceptions
within the Reiki community.
I believe that the biggestmisconception is that Reiki is

(10:25):
only hands-on healing.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Oh yes.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
And without realizing or knowing that there's a whole
system to it.
And so when we say Reiki, peopleoutside of the community
probably most know it as thehands-on healing aspect, and in
the community when we talk aboutReiki, we're typically, mostly
usually talking about thehands-on aspect, but of course,

(10:51):
as we know, it's so much morethan the hands-on healing.
That's only one part of thesystem of Reiki which is just so
much more deep and profoundthan simply the hands on healing
, although we know that thatsimply it's not, you know, just

(11:12):
that, that simple kind of anexperience, and so it's
definitely that you know thethose misconceptions are.
There are a lot of them, and Ibelieve that one of the
misconceptions as well amongpractitioners is, well, I would

(11:34):
say, maybe, tracy, a mistake.
I have a video on my YouTubechannel about three Reiki
mistakes that we often make, andone of them is comparing our
Reiki journey to others and youknow saying, oh well, this
person can see things in theirsessions and you know they're
getting all of this informationand I don't.

(11:55):
That means that I'm not a goodpractitioner, and for sure no
way.
We all have our own uniquejourney.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Right, right, I know that for myself when I even went
to get my attunement if you dothe holy fire, it's the
placement that my fellowclassmates would have these
amazing experiences during themeditation experience or
attunement, and I would end upfalling asleep and they would

(12:26):
have these really descriptivethings and I'm like, oh, my
goodness.
So it's really easy to compareyourself, but you're on it on a
different journey and even whenI started out, I ended up
getting, you know, people thatwanted me to teach them to be
teachers, more than individualsessions.
And I was struggling with thatbecause, like, why can't I get

(12:48):
all of these people to come forsessions, but I'm getting people
that want to teach me?
And then I just had to kind ofchange the way I looked at it,
that I was a teacher's teacher,that I'm here to level up those
to send them out.
So once I made peace with thatcause, I thought it was going to
look just like my teacher.
She's like, oh, I have likethree sessions of people a week

(13:08):
and I'm teaching this or, youknow, offering sessions this
many times a month, and I wasn'tgetting that.
But I was getting the peoplethat said, hey, I saw you, I
want you to teach me yeah.
Yes, I love that yes.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Yes, and this is so very true, you know, not just
with our Reiki journey as awhole, but with our Reiki
business as well, which, ofcourse, is, you know, tied to
our Reiki journey.
They're just so interwoven.
But is this idea that we haveto?
It has to look like everyoneelse's.
And that's simply not true atall, so I love that you shared

(13:44):
that, tracy.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Yeah, and even when you talk to someone like, hey,
maybe you should do the masters, and they'd say, well, I don't
wanna teach, well, you don'thave to if you don't want to,
this can just be something todeepen your practice, raise your
vibration a little bit.
Yeah, so everyone's unique intheir own path, but it took a
while to learn that, because inthe beginning you're looking at
other people and trying tocompare and you just have to

(14:07):
drop it and say you know what,I'm on my own path.
You know same thing as you.
You probably never imaginedyou'd be doing a podcast, a
business summit, right?

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Yes, exactly, and I think you really hit on
something that's so very true ofhuman nature, tracy, is that we
look to others you know we'revery communal beings and so we
look to others for cues aboutwhat we should be doing and how
we should be doing it, and sowhen we do that on our Reiki

(14:40):
journey, that's a normal, typical human kind of a thing to
do, and so it is hard for us tostep back and say, just because
they're doing it that way orthat they had that experience,
doesn't mean that I have to, andit doesn't mean that there's
anything wrong with my uniqueexperience.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Absolutely, and that's when you dip into that
energetic toolbox and giveyourself Reiki to the situation.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Yes, amen.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
So you have been out helping and assisting many, not
only in their Reiki businessjourney but also in their own
personal struggles.
But what has been the biggestchallenge or struggle you have
faced in your own healingjourney?

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Yeah, wow.
Well, great question, tracy.
And I want to say how, how longis the podcast?
Um, you know, I will say backin the day.
So before I was a Reiki businessowner years ago, I was a career

(15:49):
coach.
That was one of the things thatI did and I coached people, you
know, with interviewing andthings, and oftentimes, you know
, a main question in interviewsis what's your greatest weakness
?
And so this question, you know, question of, about personal
challenges, is very similar tothe weakness question, and I

(16:11):
actually have a formula for howto answer this kind of weakness
question, and it is that thetime we look at a weakness or a
challenge that we might have onour journey, if we flip that
over, there's a strength on theother side, and that strengths
and weaknesses are really justtwo sides of the same coin.

(16:34):
And so, you know, if on myjourney, let's say that I well,
I'm short.
So if you met me in person, I'mpretty short and one of my
weaknesses is that I can't dunka basketball.
So if you handed me abasketball and you're like, dunk
, this not going to happen, butI'm really good at crawling into

(16:56):
small spaces, and so there's astrength within that weakness
right.
And so when we flip that over,we've got that positive side to
it.
And when we look at, you know, talking about our strengths, our
weaknesses, I like to encouragepeople to lead with the

(17:16):
strength, and so, you know, forme, tracy.
So you know, for me, tracy, whenever it comes to one of my
many challenges is that I liketo help people understand and I
like to approach informationfrom a variety of standpoints,

(17:40):
and so, because of that, sometimes I can talk around
things and sometimes I can be alittle repetitive, and so, in
other words, sometimes I justdon't get right to the point
right away.
That's something that I'mworking on right now, and so
that's something that is achallenge for me at this time.

(18:03):
But you know, it is somethingthat I am aware of and working
to improve upon.
But that's just one, tracy, andyou know I don't know how much
more time you have.
Well, it must be.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
You have that teacher spirit, you know as myself, I'm
a teacher as well Must be.
You have that teacher spirit.
You know as myself, I'm ateacher as well.
So it seems repetitive.
You know saying things over andover again.
This part of the game here, yeah thanks.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
I know it sometimes drives people nuts.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Yeah, but then you're the right person for that.
Who needs it, right yeah?

Speaker 3 (18:38):
That's a great point.
That's a great point.
But you know, that's only onechallenge on my spiritual
journey.
But the challenges really arenumerous and the thing too with
those challenges is that theyshift and change.
As we shift and change and aswe grow and our journey evolves.
Those challenges that we havegrow and evolve.

(19:01):
And who knows what spiritualchallenges I might have in the
future.
I can only guess Right.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
But we ask that it be done with grace and ease.
Oh yes, grace and ease.
Grace and ease.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
What is something that you?
What is?
What do you wish your youngerself knew about Reiki?

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Oh, what do I wish my younger self knew about Reiki.
Oh, what do I wish my youngerself knew about Reiki.
I wish that my younger selfknew that I would be a Reiki
practitioner Like that.
Wow, I would end up as a Reikipractitioner.
And I think that I also wouldlike my younger self to know
that Reiki has always alreadybeen with me and that I didn't

(19:48):
become a Reiki practitioner whenI got my attunements and I
didn't become a Reikipractitioner when I took my
trainings.
I was, in my heart and soul, aReiki practitioner even before
then, and so that, I think, issomething pretty powerful.
But at the same time, you knowto go back in time and tell my

(20:12):
younger self something I don'tthink.
So I think I'd make him figureit out for himself.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
But isn't it amazing when you watch students and
they're, you know, realizing andputting the dots together
during the training, that theymight have been doing these
things for as long as they canremember and now they're just
getting a name for it?
And it's that relief, like, ohmy goodness, and that validation
that they are on that rightpath.

(20:39):
So many people, when they cometo the training, you know
they've already been doing a lotof these things and it's just
yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Yes, absolutely yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
So, when it is time for you to get an energetic tuna
, what qualities do you look forin a Reiki practitioner?

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Yeah, great question.
So the qualities that I lookfor in a practitioner are, first
of all, self-practice, so thatthey themselves are practicing.
I think that's super importantin a teacher and the same kinds

(21:25):
of things that I believe areimportant qualities for a Reiki
teacher.
So, first of all, self-practice, you know, are you practicing
the system of Reiki, and notjust the self-Reiki, hands-on
aspect, which is very important, but also, you know, getting
into the practice, learningabout it, studying, expanding
your knowledge.
So are you still activelylearning and studying?

(21:49):
I also look for an ability tolisten and an openness to
questions and to answeringquestions, so a willingness to
admit that you don't know theanswer and a willingness to
admit that you might be wrong, and an ability to meet student

(22:14):
questions and curiosity withopenness and compassion rather
than any kind of dismissivenessor because I said so kind of an
approach.
So those are the kinds ofqualities that I think are
really important, that I lookfor in a practitioner and that I

(22:37):
try to emulate myself as apractitioner and teacher.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Wonderful, all right.
Now this one's a very importantone because you know you are
the founder of the ReikiBusiness Collective, your
podcast and your book.
Right, you've got this amazingbook Reiki Business Ready Six
Ways to Know You're Ready forthat Business.
So what advice would you givesomeone who's just coming into
this spiritual work?
They feel that, calling that, yes, it's time for me to move

(23:07):
forward and create that business.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Yeah, first of all, yay, it's exciting.
It is exciting and it's awonderful and blessed thing.
And my first encouragement isto be gentle with yourself,
because when we move forwardwith the Reiki business, the

(23:31):
spiritual business, whatever itmight kind of be, might be even
any kind of new venture, nomatter what that might be we're
going to have things come up forus, things in terms of things
that need healing for ourselves.
On our own journey, we're goingto run into road bumps and

(23:54):
challenges, we're going to runinto questions and uncertainties
, we're going to come up againstfears, and so the very first
thing that I encourage is to bekind, be compassionate and be
gentle with yourself, because itreally is an unfolding journey

(24:17):
that is going to have all kindsof twists and turns, and all
kinds of twists and turns thatyou can't guess at.
And so please be gentle withyourself, including when it's
not easy.
Be gentle with yourself, including when it's not easy.
One of the things that we oftenthink when we are starting a

(24:38):
spiritual business is that if wehave our chakras aligned and
balanced, if we send ourbusiness Reiki, if we just
meditate enough and do enoughvisioning and law of attraction
stuff, then it will all be okayand it will flow and be easy.
But just because something ismeant to be doesn't mean it's

(25:00):
going to flow and be easy.
And so sometimes, whenpractitioners come up against
those initial challenges, theythink, oh well, this just isn't
for me.
No, it's just that it's noteasy.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Right, right, yeah, they expect the path to be
completely clear.
And when I began my journey, Ioriginally started I called the
business Feather Sister Yoga, and then it completely evolved,
and then it was adding Reiki andthen other modalities start to
come in.
And then it completely evolved, and then it was adding Reiki
and then other modalities startto come in, and then, you know,
almost five years later, I'veshifted it now to Feather Sister

(25:38):
Wellness.
So it certainly is not the samebusiness that I intended to.
So be open to you know, adjusting your sales and going
in that direction, because youmay be and I don't want to call
them collecting modalities youget excited, you learn that
modality.
You may not be using it now,but it might be exactly what
that future client needs.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Yes, yeah, 1000% Tracy.
You know, as our journeyunfolds, our business can and
does change.
And that includes our businessmodel, so what we offer, how we
conduct our business, you knowjust all kinds of things can and
do change as our businessjourney unfolds, so that's great

(26:23):
advice.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
Yeah, that's.
I mean, just be open to it, andI had you know was encouraged
five years ago.
You have to create an LLC andnow they've changed the law.
With the LLC you have to followup, report with that and that
costs money.
So you get like little wrenchesthrown at you and so you have
Reiki to use to help younavigate those challenges.

(26:46):
But those experiences arereally great teachers for you to
learn and grow.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
Yes, tracy, for sure you know, I think, another great
teacher for us on our Reikibusiness journey.
I don't know about you, butit's technology.
You know, technology, I think,is one of the biggest business
challenges, and not just for anonline business, but you know in

(27:12):
person as well.
You know how many times couldyou, you know, have something
happen with your paymentprocessor.
You know your square chipreader, your card reader, or you
know having challenges withZoom or your computer or
something else.
You know the technologicalchallenges, I think, are a big

(27:34):
one and they happen to all of usand they happen all of the time
, sure.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Yeah, and I mean it was so fascinating with it and I
consider a silver lining comingout of COVID that it rose up
many of us to be online and forsome that was a struggle to get
online and you know, get infront and do lives and go on
zoom, and so it's really changedhow this industry has been.

(28:03):
But it makes it accessible andit makes it uh, it takes the
taboo out of it.
So, like my children like, ohyeah, that person on person on
TikTok, so you don't have toexplain it, or do the Colleen
always called it the elevatortalk, the Reiki elevator talk as
much now, because they know soand so on on TikTok, does it.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Yeah, yeah, it's true , it is becoming more mainstream
.
Yes, yes it is.
Yes, it is.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Good.
So what books do you recommend?

Speaker 3 (28:38):
Yeah, thanks, tracy.
Well, I have to recommend mybook.
I mean, I know I know the wholebook, I wrote it and I'm I, you
know.
So I have to if I don'trecommend my own book.
That doesn't sound good, ofcourse.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Well, it's from the Standing Stones Healing Library.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Yes, thank you.
Yes, so I do recommend ReikiBusiness Ready.
Of course, that's available onAmazon across all marketplaces
on Amazon worldwide.
I also recommend my colleague, mary Raposo, grow your Reiki
Business, and I recommend thisbook as well.

(29:22):
It's a great book, mary.
Includes lots of great tacticsand information and strategies
for marketing your Reikibusiness, including and
especially, if you are afraid ofthe marketing stuff which,
let's admit it, it is achallenge for all of us, because

(29:44):
that's part of the journey aswell.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Yeah, yeah, it's a constant hustle with that
Posting and remember to postingand making videos.
Yeah, in our digital world, yes, yes.
So what services do you offer?
Do you offer classes, events,trainings?

Speaker 3 (30:09):
I, of course, do Reiki sessions.
I offer card readings as well.
So not only am I a Reikipractitioner, I'm also a card
reader, and I was actually acard reader before I was a Reiki
practitioner, so I startedreading cards a couple of years
before I became a Reikipractitioner.
I offer courses.

(30:32):
I became a Reiki practitioner.
I offer courses.
So lots of different kinds ofclasses Reiki business classes
like Build your Reiki Businessor the Distance Reiki Business
Builder so lots of Reikibusiness offerings.
I offer the Card Magic classUnlock your card magic so lots
of courses that I teach.
You know, as a background, as ateacher, I really enjoy

(31:03):
creating and teaching courses.
That's one thing I just love inmy Reiki business, and I say
one thing because I like, I like, love it all.
But those are some things Ioffer as well.
And now, of course, the ReikiBusiness Summit event online.
I'm offering too, so I alwayshave something going on and I'm

(31:23):
always excited about what I'moffering.
And the next thing as well.
So thank you.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
Beautiful.
So where can we find you if wewant to get in touch with you?

Speaker 3 (31:34):
Yeah, great Thanks.
Well, everyone is welcome totune in to the build your Reiki
business podcast and of course, you can get there from my
website,standingstoneshealingcom, and

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Beautiful and that's how I found you.
I found you with the Reikibusiness collective and several
of my teachers wereparticipating in your business
summit, so that's how you got myattention.
So wonderful yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
Thank you, tracy, and it's great to have you in that
collective.
Thank you we have a wonderfulgroup of practitioners.
It's welcoming, it'sencouraging, it's supportive and
that's what we need.
When I founded that group, itwas really based on a need
within our community, somethingthat we didn't have, and I said
we need a place.

(33:38):
You know, there are so manyReiki groups but, there's
nothing specifically for Reikibusiness.
And this is something that ourcommunity needs and deserves.
So we have it, and anyone iswelcome to join us.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
Wonderful, and you do do time to time card readings
on Facebook, right.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
I do.
Yes, I do.
Yep, I like to go live on oraround the full moon and offer
card readings, but when I'm notdoing that, I have a monthly
reading on my YouTube channel.
So you can go to StandingStones Healing my YouTube
channel and you can find themonthly.
Choose one of three cardreadings.
So you pick number one, two orthree and there is a card

(34:23):
reading for the month.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
There's something for everyone, so wonderful.
Well, that ends the first partof our journey, and I'm going to
continue to guide you to thenext part here of our journey,
where there's three questionsfrom listeners and from Reiki
students.
So let's begin.
Number one tell me about theReiki Business Collective.
What is your goal for thecollective?

Speaker 3 (34:47):
Yeah, great.
Well, that's perfect, becausewe're just talking about the
collective.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Exactly.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Yeah, I love it.
So yes, the Reiki BusinessCollective is a free Facebook
group and, like I mentioned, anyone on their Reiki journey is
welcome to join.
So let's say you're consideringstarting a Reiki business but
you're just not sure you canjoin the Reiki Business
Collective and learn, askquestions, just check out the

(35:15):
group and watch what happens andjust get an idea of being a
Reiki business owner.
And if you've been in Reikibusiness for years, you're
welcome to join us as well, because we all need support on
our journey, we all needcommunity, we all need the

(35:35):
support and encouragement oflike-minded friends who
understand what it's like to bea Reiki practitioner and to do
this crazy things calledstarting a Reiki business Right
right, well, thank you.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Thank you for putting that all together.
I mean, it's a wonderfulsupport, just such a variety of
connections that you can, youknow, be brought to.
So wonderful, I love that.
Thank you.
Number two you were inspired tocreate a podcast, so tell us
about your podcast.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Yeah, thanks, tracy.
So the Build your ReikiBusiness podcast I started, gosh
, we're coming up on episodenumber 100 now, and it's a
weekly podcast, so every singleweek I publish a.
It's about a 20 minute episode.
Now we know from earlier in ourconversation that sometimes I

(36:33):
can be a little long winded, andso sometimes I go over the 20
minute Mark.
As a matter of fact, I set thepodcast episode at 20 minutes to
help rein myself in.
Otherwise I would just betalking on, blabbering on for an
hour and everybody would belike what is this guy doing?
I'm out, and so I set that20-minute limit for me and I try

(37:00):
to stick to it.
I don't always do the best job,but there's always a lot to say
, and so I will talk about alldifferent kinds of Reiki
business topics, anything fromhow to start a session or end a
session to how to marketyourself at fairs and festivals

(37:23):
and expos, to defining yourideal client.
To fill in the blank when itcomes to Reiki business topics.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
Beautiful.
I love it and the listeners.
If you're listening, don't feeloverwhelmed.
So he has all the information.
He's giving you a map for thejourney here, so it's all good.
Trust the process, right, yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
If you feel overwhelmed.
Yes, you're in the right place.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
There's guides everywhere.
So know that it's a journeythat you do not have to walk
alone, that is for sure.
The helpers are all along theway.
So yes, because probablysomeone's listening, like I
didn't even think like psychicfairs, and you know these events
, you know to market yourself, yeah, and that can be a little
overwhelming.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
I think that any part of theprocess can feel overwhelming,
and the process as a whole isoverwhelming.
And when you're just startingout, the whole thing is so
overwhelming that it can beparalyzing.
How do I move forward?
What's the next step that Itake?

(38:37):
What do I do?
And trying to put all of thepieces together can just feel so
challenging, and so thatoverwhelm feeling that feeling
of overwhelm as we start a Reikibusiness is so normal.
But you've got the assistance, the help all around you and

(38:59):
we're here to help.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Wonderful, wonderful.
So tell us about your new bookReiki Business Ready.
I love it.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Yes, thank you.
So, Tracy, one of the thingsthat I like to do is, you know,
I guess it's that teacher aspectof me, Maybe it's that long
windedness, I don't know, but Ilike to take complex, kind of
you know, those big ideas andbreak them down into small,

(39:29):
actionable ways that you canreally understand it.
And so when we're thinkingabout starting a Reiki business,
that might be like anoverwhelming, like oh my gosh,
is this something I can do?
Is this possible?
What does it take to start aReiki business?
Who do I need to be to start aReiki business?
And so I wrote Reiki businessready to really help make that

(39:55):
kind of amorphous, ambiguous, nebulous kind of question
concrete.
And so I've broken it down intosix ways to know that you are
ready for a Reiki business.
Now, of course, it's not theend-all, be-all of all of the
ways to know, but it givespractitioners a starting point

(40:19):
to really help them as theyconsider whether or not they
want to start a Reiki businessand whether or not they're ready
to do it.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Beautiful, beautiful.
And where can we find that bookagain?

Speaker 3 (40:32):
Yeah, you can get it on Amazon.
You can actually go to mywebsite to learn more at
standingstoneshealingcom.
Slash ready and I have thelinks there for all of the
different Amazon marketplacesaround the world where it is
available.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
All right, perfect, so we have the podcast.
We have the book you're onYouTube.
Perfect, so we have the podcast.
We have the book you're onYouTube, facebook.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
Right, we got you covered.
Yes, I'm on Instagram too, butI'll admit I'm not a big fan of
Instagram.
I don't spend a lot of timethere.
Sure, sure.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Very good, All right.
Well, that was our lastquestion and as we were talking,
is there anything else that youmay have forgotten or you feel
called to share?
The floor is yours.

Speaker 3 (41:13):
Well, I just want to say thank you so much, tracy.
It's been great to connect andchat and it's been an honor to
have everyone tuning in, so Iwant to say thank you all so
very much.
Absolutely, you are welcome totune into the podcast.
Let me know what you think youknow, drop me a note.

(41:33):
If there's a particular topicthat you want to see on the
podcast, I'm happy to add it tothe list and to offer it up in a
podcast episode.
Of course, join us in the ReikiBusiness Collective Facebook
group.
It is a welcoming andencouraging place and whether
you're on Facebook or not, whether you like podcasts or not
, you're welcome to grab theReiki Biz Kit.

(41:54):
It's free.
It includes lots of Reikibusiness information and I threw
some music into it as well, because I also play the Native
American style flute, so I havesome meditation and Reiki music
in that Biz Kit as well.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
Beautiful, beautiful.
And again, tell our listenerswhere you're located if they
want to check you out in person.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
Oh, thanks In person.
I'm hard to get a hold of inperson.
I do fairs, festivals and expos.
I'm in central Pennsylvania.
I do mobile Reiki, but I have avery limited number of clients
that I take on for my mobileReiki practice and it's within a
very specific radius.
