Gwen, Jackie, Drew, and Tad arrive in Abattoir, TX intending to stop for gas and ending up stopping for some repairs instead.  The local marks vary from timidly helpful to obnoxious, which is pretty standard for this stretch in the 70's.  Then everything goes to Hell real quick and things get messy.  Should've just let them go on their way.
