Colin Byrne Buying Your First Home With Your Parents Help 043 RSIRE
Colin Byrne shares his experience as a first time home buyer, and all the challenges that brings. He had been a renter but desired to own his own home after a roommate was moving out, so looked at condos. As with all experiences, there were positive and negative issues and he shares them to help other first time home buyers. His income matched a condo to his liking, and he was confident on paper that he could make the payments, but asked his parents for the down payment. After the lender pushed back on approval also due to a past due unpaid debt, his mom finally co-signed for his first mortgage term, but he was able to qualify on his own after that. Tune in to learn more about more of his challenges.
