Meet Lara Tomov, a remarkable individual I had the pleasure of meeting in Los Angeles. Our paths crossed when I presented to her sustainability class at UCLA on behalf of Farmer’s Diet, a startup I was actively involved with. Following the talk, Lara initiated a conversation, and our connection was instantaneous. Our shared dedication to safeguarding the Earth, conserving its precious resources, and championing the rights of indigenous cultures quickly bonded us.

Lara, an accomplished filmmaker with a fearless spirit, once immersed in the glitz of Hollywood, embarked on a transformative journey. Driven to contribute to meaningful endeavors, she boldly decided to return with her family to her ancestral homestead in Montana. It was on this ranch, under the guidance of formidable women ranchers, that she was raised.

Out of her profound commitment to positive change, Lara founded a non-profit organization known as Stories for Action. The core ethos of this initiative lies in bringing individuals from diverse perspectives together, breaking bread, and initiating dialogues that transcend the typical divides.
