michael_1_01-09-2024_1 (00:02):
Exactly.
That's the hope anyways, becausethe last effort at this failed
and Bobby and I were sitting infront of camera.
Actually, together, we weretrying to do one in the same
room, and it seemed likeeverything was working just
fine.
And alas, nothing actually, except for a black screen and
silence, was recorded.
(00:23):
Yeah, truly.
Really excited for the showtonight.
(01:20):
Yeah, it's a it's a bitunfortunate.
I guess it gives us a reallydirected manner which we can You
know, have this conversationwhere last time it was, I think
a really good conversation anddialogue, but more than anything
we've made the commitment tostart bringing on guests that.
(01:43):
Really are living some of thevalues that we talk about on a
regular basis to show evidenceFor what we're talking about and
it's not to convince really ourlisteners anything Yeah And I
say that but it's not we don'tneed to at this point convince
the guests because we'veExperienced this stuff
(02:03):
ourselves.
And so bringing out other peoplewho have also used hardship as
Something to make you harderinstead of softer.
And I don't know what that was abad one.
I'll cut that one out.
(02:23):
Where I'm going is that the manwe have on the show tonight, one
of my closest friends andbrothers, Bobby Edmond, I've
known him for a long time.
I love him.
I'm really excited to have himshare a little bit about his
story and I'm gonna.
Kick it over to him and let himfree form for a little bit here
and ask some questions asnecessary But we've already had
(02:44):
this conversation.
So he knows what I want to hearand You can make it as Short and
sweet and dirty as you wantbobby go for it.
(05:29):
Hey, I worked there for a littlebit.
(17:35):
Yeah It was the right time forbobby.
Let's just put it that way too.
It was the right time for thoseinvestments One of the sure No,
(23:29):
I think it's all Even betterwith the accumulation of what he
was just saying there.
You talked about 30 jobs beforeyou're 30 and a lot of the
different things that you'vedone I would say are pure
resourcefulness.
Like you've gained resourcesalong the way, a network of
people and opportunities.
And.
(23:49):
You often were pursuing multiplethings in parallel, up to, at
one point I, was aware of atleast like five different things
that you were doingsimultaneously that were not
really related, but all towardsthe end goal of, Oh, generating
enough resources to do what youwant to do in life.
(24:10):
So there was this like level ofdiscipline and tenacity that you
had, but then you transitioned.
Recently into just this one roleback with your family.
And I was curious about thatrevelation out in California,
doing a social media company, the car club working at Thompson
Reuters for a while.
(24:30):
Things of other nature.
Not necessarily all at the sametime, but obviously we were
doing dry well together, allsorts of things like that to
talk us through that piece.
Cause that's something thatwe've been talking about.
(26:06):
I hear it was up there a coupleof times.
(32:40):
What was your, you said wake uphungry, go to bed hungry.
Is that what you said?
(39:47):
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah.
Even same, situation with us.
(40:46):
Yeah.
Because that's scaling insteadof stretching.
And that's often what we've beenencouraged to do is stretch
instead of scale.
Stretch yourself across as manythings as you can to make enough
money, but to keep you buried inthat sort of worker and lack
(41:06):
state of, I don't have enough.
And the reality is if we're in aplace of abundance, we all know
we have enough and that we'regoing to generate more than
enough throughout the course ofour lives.
And the stuff that you'retalking about, Bobby just,
reminds me of what I feel likeone of the chief aims for
(41:26):
reclaiming man is to buildlegacy, right?
Men who leave a legacy that'shonorable, that has an impact on
their family.
And to your point, Scott, aboutbeing the one.
Did it change the channel?
The family tree?
I think it's gone.
Oh, man.
(41:46):
I don't know what to do aboutthat.
I turned this off because Idon't really need it.
Can you hear me any better?
Sure.
(45:33):
Can you guys hear me anymore nowat all better?
No, just quiet or exactly Yeahwe, were talking about the
(49:42):
compounds to some extent.
(50:19):
No, with a thousand acres, itshould be fine.
(52:48):
Resourceful, is that what yousaid?
(54:13):
I might be able to, the audioprobably works a little bit, but
(54:45):
yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, much appreciated.
All right.
Yeah.
Thanks for being on the show.
I really appreciated it.
I think it's just interesting tohave very similar outcomes.
When, it comes to yourbackground, Scott's background,
(55:07):
my background, and I love havingyou on the show.
So very much.
So appreciate your, story.
Love you, man.
So thanks for taking some time.
