Rev Rachel Harrison (00:00):
For today's episode.
I am excited to bring back areally special guest.
This is Christine Lang.
Christine is a gifted medical, intuitive, spirit channel healer
and now the author of Ask yourSpirit, receiving life-changing
wisdom from your elevatedintelligence, and for over 25
years she's helped peopleconnect to the voice of their
spirit for healing, clarity andguidance, and in this episode

(00:23):
we're going to dive into how youcan access the same wisdom for
yourself.
This conversation is soulful, grounded and full of insight for
anybody ready to deepen theirsoul recovery journey and trust
the guidance of something evengreater still and the guidance
from within.
Let's get started.
Welcome to the Recover your Soulpodcast a spiritual path to a

(00:45):
happy and healthy life.
My name is Reverend RachelHarrison.
I started Recover your Soulafter having profound changes in
my life from my recovery ofalcoholism, codependency and
control addiction.
I was guided to share the toolsand principles of spirituality
and soul recovery to help otherstransform their lives, as mine

(01:06):
was transformed.
For us to overcome externalcircumstances, we need to turn
the attention to ourselves, focusing on our inner change and
healing.
Positive results in our liveswill follow.
Welcome to Recover your Soul.
I'm Rev Rachel and I am honoredand privileged to have a repeat

(01:27):
guest on.
I have the amazing ChristineLang visiting me again.
We had our first conversationit's been almost exactly a year
ago, which is really amazing, and in that year I have become
one of her students.
I attend her monthly workshopswhenever it works out for me,
and really enjoy what she has tooffer on the socials.

(01:50):
And then I had the privilege ofbeing offered a pre-copy of Ask
your Spirit, receivinglife-changing wisdom from your
elevated intelligence, and Iloved it.
So I am just so honored to haveyou here with me today.

Christing Lang (02:03):
Oh, thanks for having me back.
I'm so glad that you got a copyof the book and had time to
read it.
That's great.

Rev Rachel Harrison (02:08):
You know I get a lot of copies of books of
people who come on and I kind ofyou know, thumb through them
and try to get something.
But I was just so excited toactually get your book and to
read it from cover to cover andenjoy it and everything that it
has to offer, so I'm ready todig in and talk more about it,
because it has so much to offereverybody.

Christing Lang (02:28):
Thank you, thank you.
I always say I wrote the bookwith the idea of putting myself
out of business.
So last year I opened up mycalendar and in two days booked
out for the whole year and wentoh, dear, dear, dear, dear.
Now what?
And people were gettingfrustrated, they couldn't get in
.
And now what?
And people were gettingfrustrated, they couldn't get in
.
And I said, okay, my spiritsaid it's time to write this
book and stop fishing for peopleand teach people how to fish.
And then let them have theconversations with their spirit.

(02:51):
And you know, it takes a whileto get to a certain skill level,
but people are amazed that.
So how quickly, within a coupleof days they're like I got a
message, I got an answer from myspirit, and that's just the
miraculous right.
If you're not used to hearingfrom your spirit, it's.
I think it's an honor.

Rev Rachel Harrison (03:07):
I think that's the gift that we're
giving.
Is that we're we don't seepeople as broken in the first
place.
We're really recognizing theirwholeness and want to give them
whatever tools that they canaccess that we've accessed to
show them how they, too, canaccess that inside themselves.

Christing Lang (03:21):
Yeah, yeah, and so many clients will come to me
for a private session thinkingthat they're broken or that
their spirit has the one answerto fix them and what I really
try to encourage them to see itas your spirit wants to
collaborate with you to livethis fully expanded life every
single day, all the bigdecisions, all I mean.
Nobody has your back like yourspirit.

(03:43):
Your spirit is your best lifecoach, health coach, career
coach, relationship coach.
She's invested in the samethings you are, and having you
be success and really tap intothe universe's abundance gets
her excited.

Rev Rachel Harrison (03:56):
First, I just want to say I'm going to
put in the show notes theconversation that we had a year
ago, because I don't really wantto repeat some of the stuff
that we talked about last year, but I want them to have access
to it because it's such a goodfoundation of who you are, how
you got to what you'reinterested in.
You started as an intuitivehealth medical coach and healer

(04:19):
and how that's progressed on.
So I just want to put that in alittle capsule so that people
say, okay, go to the show notes, look at that YouTube channel.
What I want you to addressright now for those who are
saying, okay, well, what is thespirit?
What is this intelligence, thisaspect of myself?
How do you define what thatspirit is?

Christing Lang (04:40):
I say that a piece of you that chose to
incarnate is your soul, and yoursoul comes here for many
reasons, but one of the primaryreasons is to experience being a
creator, get to manifest things.
One of the issues the soul hasis it wants for nothing.
It came from the spirit worldwhere everything is pure love
and joy.
And so it gets here and says Idon't really care if I have a
blue car or a green car, I don'treally care.

(05:02):
And so we are each gifted anego mind.
It's like a blank hard driveand we choose the parents we're
going to incarnate to because ofhow they're going to program it
on topics like money and raceand sexuality and all the things
.
And that ego mind keeps us safe.
You know, don't touch the hotburner, don't step in front of
the bus.
But it also helps us createpreferences.
The ego compares and contrastsand chooses.

(05:24):
So you know if you like silverand white cars better than black
and tan cars, and you know thatyou like two-story houses
better than one-story houses.
And so your spirit is thecombination of your soul and
your ego mind, and I would saythis is a rough estimate, of
course, but my guides tell methat your spirit is 80% soul,
20% ego, mind, so that it hassome preferences, it has some

(05:47):
things to pursue.
And why that ratio is importantis that your spirit's wisdom is
so much more vast than yourmind's wisdom will ever be.
And yet your spirit also knowswhat you're really hoping to
create.
You really want to end up livingin Florida.
You really want to end uprunning a dog sanctuary.
You really want to end upliving in Florida.
You really want to end uprunning a dog sanctuary.
You really want to have thesethings.

(06:08):
And then your spirit goes okay, let's move you in that
direction, right, unless it'sgoing to somehow thwart your
soul's expansion.
If winning the lottery is goingto thwart your journey, your
spirit's not going to join itand give you the winning lottery
numbers.
But if it's not going to impedeyour soul's journey, your
spirit's all in and it's goingto give you the best steps to
accomplish and manifest thethings you want to manifest.

Rev Rachel Harrison (06:30):
I love that because I think a lot about our
guides and the Akashic records, and the more we go into the woo
, the more you actually allowyourself to move into this place
.
That is unlimited, and howpeople talk about it and what
terminology people are using.
Ultimately, it's about gettingclarity so that you can have

(06:54):
clarity right and it doesn'thave to be the thing.
It's so that you can figure outhow you can get that part of
yourself more aligned to be ableto access whatever those things
are for whatever they are.

Christing Lang (07:09):
Yeah, whatever the things you're interested in
If you're interested in AkashicRecords or studying mediumship
or developing your certainskills in certain ways there's
sort of this information energyfield that we're all swimming in
.
It's like we're goldfish in thegoldfish bowl, right?
That sea of information that isaround us, it's how you tap
into it.
But your spirit is alwaysplugged into it, just the same

(07:30):
way your soul is.
So when you start havingconversations directly with your
spirit, you're plugged intowhatever you want to be able to
do.

Rev Rachel Harrison (07:38):
And in the book the beginning of the book
is right to it it's like here'sthe skills, here's the tools,
here's the skills, here's thetools, here's the meditation,
here's the steps, here's how toaccess your spirit.
And it's not like some wild, difficult, crazy experience.
It's really.
I love how approachable thosetools are.

Christing Lang (08:05):
Oh, thanks.
I think from being a lawyer,I'm super pragmatic and
everything has to really yieldresults, even when I'm teaching
my intuitive energy healing, which is like Reiki but a little
stronger.
When I'm teaching energyhealing I'm like I want to teach
you how to like kill thebacteria and virus in the public
toilet that you go to Like.
I need this to have real worldexperience, not just be airy
fairy, feel good, right, I meanI need to help you set that
broken bone.
I need to help you healyourself from COVID faster.

(08:28):
It's not just about the.
Let me tell you about a pastlifetime that you really can't
verify anyway.
Those are nice and sometimesthose pieces of information come
in.
But I am really about pragmatic, direct results, and so I
always say the first third ofthe book is like me handing your
spirit cell phone number andtelling you how to listen when
she picks up the phone so thatyou have that.
And then the second two thirdsof the book each chapter is

(08:50):
about the different kinds ofquestions people always want to
ask their spirit and how toframe the questions so you get
the best answers.

Rev Rachel Harrison (08:56):
Yeah which I thought was great, because I
think sometimes that's just whatwe need is we need someone to
give us the words and then thewords become more natural for us
to give ourselves.

Christing Lang (09:07):
Yeah, just like in AI, if you have a better
prompt you get a better result.
There's all these courses nowon how to use AI and this is
sort of that second two-thirdsof the book I call the
relationship manual.
It's like now you have thisrelationship with your spirit.
How do you get to answer yourquestions?
And when people come to me andsay I asked my spirit this but
she wouldn't answer, then I knowit's in how they frame the

(09:28):
question.
Not that there's a certain bitof magic words, but if you, if
you frame the question in such away that you only give your
spirit two options should I buythis house or this house?
And there's really a thirdhouse she wants you to look at
because that's your dream house.
You just haven't seen it yet.
She's not going to answer.
If it means distort, giving youthis distorted, incorrect

(09:51):
answer, she just won't Right.
So, understanding how to frameyour question of what can you
tell me about these two houses?

Rev Rachel Harrison (09:54):
that would yield the answer Right.
So if somebody is thinking, ohgood, now I can have access to
something that can A foresee thefuture, can have access to
something that can A foresee thefuture.
B is bringing me everythingthat my wildest dreams wants for
the perfect life.

Christing Lang (10:13):
What would you say?
I would say yeah, but there'sexceptions.
Your spirit won't tell you thefuture if it alters your present
in the incorrect way.
In other words, people will sayto me well, I'm thinking of
moving to Texas, but I might endup in Seattle, because that's
where my siblings live, and askmy spirit if I'm going to end up
in Seattle and her spirit mightsay no, because if I tell her,

(10:34):
yes, she's going to cut outTexas and she's just going to go
straight to Seattle, and inTexas she's going to meet her
next business partner.
So she actually needs to gothere.
So I'm not going to tell her, yes, you're going to end up in
Seattle.
I'm going to say ask me whatyour next step is, and your next
step is move to Texas.
So you will be given access tothe amount of future information
that enhances and validateswhat works for you right now.

(10:56):
Curiosity just says, but I justwant to know all the things.
But it's like if I met you whenyou were four or five and you
said tell me what I'm going toget for Christmas every year, I
wouldn't tell you because, evenif I knew, because it would ruin
it right, there's no realbenefit, it's just satisfying
your momentary curiosity.
And then when you're eightyou're like, oh yeah, this year
I get a bike.
Oh yeah, this year I get rollerskates.
Right, I really would haveruined it just to satisfy that

(11:18):
temporary curiosity of yours, but there's always changes and
shifts that are happening anyway.

Rev Rachel Harrison (11:22):
So it's not like your spirit could even
give you the gifts that you'regoing to get for every Christmas
, because at every momentthere's a shift in timelines,
there's a shift in what wechoose, where we were always in
transformation.
So I think one of the things Igot from your book that I
thought was really powerful wasthat awareness that this isn't

(11:43):
like future telling.
It's really in this presentmoment, right now, what is in
your soul's greatest expansion, and sometimes that isn't to have
everything go well.

Christing Lang (11:56):
Right, right, I mean, very rarely do we wake up
and say everything in my lifefeels great, I think I'll do
something drastically different.
No way we're going to doeverything the same, right?
So, unfortunately, a lot oftimes when we need a big pivot,
it comes through discomfort.
So, yeah, your spirit isn'tgoing to tip you off to things
that, quote, ruin your journey,right?
But in terms of futureinformation or manifesting your

(12:19):
wildest dreams, your spirit'sall in for manifesting the
universe's abundance, as long asit doesn't pull you off track
of something.
So, for instance, when I firststarted hearing my spirit, I
said okay, tell me the winninglottery numbers.
And she said no.
And I said why?
And she said if you won thelottery tomorrow, would you keep
seeing this many clients?
I said well, no, I'd cut back.
She goes exactly Okay.
Okay, I started bargaining.

(12:39):
Okay, I'll see as many clients.
She's like, no, you won't, Ibelieve in you.
Right, and I get it Right, andI have lots of abundance coming
in and she's helped me createlots of revenue streams.
And that's actually morevalidating than if she just
handed me the winning lotterynumber, right, because now I'm
partnering with the universeevery day, so I didn't get my
immediate ego wish, but Iactually got something that's

(12:59):
given me more faith, morecollaborative experiences and
all these great opportunities towork with people and witness
their aha moments, when theirspirit explains something to
them.

Rev Rachel Harrison (13:10):

Back to the episode.

Christing Lang (14:22):
Yeah, I mean I my first career.
I was a lawyer and I developedallergies in my second year of
law school, so I was certainlynot on a woo-woo path at all and
in searching for a cure for myallergies, started studying yoga
and Tai Chi and Buddhism, trying to just mitigate my
stress, and started studyingReiki or energy healing and
homeopathic remedies all thesethings just to start treating

(14:46):
myself and my symptoms.
And I learned that if I offereda friend an energy treatment
and I said let me come home andtake off my lawyer suit and sit
and meditate to change channelsin my brain, that I would just
sort of know things that I hadno way of knowing and I didn't
know how I knew them, and itjust sort of came into my body

(15:06):
as a knowing, like I don't knowwhy, I just know this thing.
And I shared it with whateverfriend I was giving energy to
and they'd say oh my God, that'strue, nobody knows that.
How do you know that?
I'm like, how do I know that?
And I realized I was tappinginto this universal field of
information.
And after it happened two orthree times, my friend said well
, who are you talking to?
Where are you getting thisinformation.
And when she left, I sat in mymeditation chair and raised my

(15:29):
energy up and said you know whoam I speaking with?
And my spirit said welcome home.
And tears are streaming down myface.
And tears are streaming down myface and she's like this is who
you came here to be, get ready.
And she started telling meyou're primarily clairaudience,
so you're hearing, but a lot ofpeople are gonna be clairvoyant
and they're gonna get visuals orclairsentient and they're gonna
feel the information like youdid the first couple of times.

(15:50):
I did in my body and, in truth, what I've learned is your
spirit's gonna send you allthree types of messages.
She and, in truth, what I'velearned is your spirit's going
to send you all three types ofmessages, which is to watch and
see which one you pick up on thefastest and which one you take
the most seriously.
So we all tend to discountthings.
So I might be like, well, Ithought I felt that in my body,
but I think I was making that up.
But when I see a visual, Ireally take it seriously.

(16:11):
Or when I hear something, Itake that more seriously.
So your spirit justcollaborates with you to say,
okay, this seems to be the bestavenue to bring you information.
But when you start gettingmessages from your spirit, I
would say, be open to all of it,because when you can get
multiples like that, itstrengthens it right.
If somebody gets a visual andthey go, I don't know, I saw a

(16:32):
brown sofa that doesn't meananything and I'm like, okay, go
back to.
How did it feel when it came inand was there music in the
background?
Like, oh my God, there was, itwas a song.
And then we put the sofa andthe word together oh, I know
what that's talking about, right.
And then they put the messagetogether and then the spirit's
like okay, now she knows, that'sa way I can get messages to her
.
So we just sort of build thislanguaging system, like you're
building language with a toddleror with your dog or cat, of

(16:55):
like, okay, here's how theyunderstand this, here's how we
understand each other on thisone.
And it just it gets bigger andbigger in terms of a vocabulary.

Rev Rachel Harrison (17:03):
It is amazing how, when you just tap
into those inner knowings orthose voices just a little bit
and start to trust it, you knowthat it starts to move deeper
and deeper and deeper.
And I think about gosh.
When I started my soul recoveryjourney seven years ago, I had

(17:23):
been spiritual my whole liferaised Buddhist, went to a unity
church, did all those things, but I was in the throes of sort
of the despair of my life andall the complications.
It was like it was too busy, too loud, too chaotic, too
painful, and when I decided tohave something different, then

(17:44):
it began to speak to me.
Actually, I started to listenbecause I'm sure it was there
the whole time, and, and one ofthe things that's come is that
it can be auditory and it can bethe images, and I think I
didn't pay attention to theimages before, but when, now
that I have more information onit, it comes more clearly.

(18:05):
But you talk.
One of the things I love aboutyour book is that you use a lot
of stories of other people andyour clients and you know so
it's real world like.
Oh, I relate to that.
That just sounds familiar, andthat this guidance that we're
getting again, not for it to beeasy but for us to have our

(18:27):
greatest soul's potential oflearning and growth.
So I guess I want for the soulrecovery community to really
hear how they can use this to betheir cell, you know, on speed
dial, to to manage Cause most ofthe people that come to this

(18:50):
community are in the middle ofsome pretty hard stuff.

Christing Lang (18:54):
Yeah.

Rev Rachel Harrison (18:54):
And so how this can be a resource to them
to be able to get through that.

Christing Lang (19:00):
Well, some of my favorite questions that people
in your community can ask theirspirit are things like what
untruth am I still telling aboutmyself?
Or how have I healed and Ihaven't given myself credit for
it, or what's a shift in me thatI'm not noticing?
Those sorts of you know it'ssmall steps every day that we

(19:21):
lose track of, just like whenwe're a kid and we don't think
we're growing.
And then our relatives he'slike oh my God, you're like a
foot taller and you're like, no,I'm the same, right.
So we tend to not see that in aday by day basis, but your
spirit can be really good athelping you.
Like, sometimes my spirit willsay remember last year when you
were so worried this wouldn'thappen, and now look where you
are.
Now I'm like, oh wow, I forgotI even had that concern, I

(19:43):
forgot I even had thatinsecurity, because it's been so
long and I try to be verypresent moment, and that's good,
but the bad part of it is I dolose track of progress and then
I don't give myself credit forit, just always.
Well, I got to do this stilland I still have to do this and
this and this, and I'm alwayseyes ahead and I think our
spirits are really good atsaying you know, you still let

(20:06):
that comment your dad made whenyou were nine.
You're still letting it guideyou right here.
I'm like, oh wow, I really amright.
So to have your spirit be thatsort of a life coach for you and
a spiritual coach for you, Ijust think it doesn't get any
better than that in terms ofreally deep, soul-stirring help
and assistance and guidance andI ask those questions at least

(20:28):
once a month of my spirit.

Rev Rachel Harrison (20:30):
And it continues to deepen and give you
more information.

Christing Lang (20:33):
Yeah, yeah.
You know the last three yearsof just writing this book and
taking all this on and reallydoubling my business and kind of
expanding it out in terms ofprograms I offer and things.
I keep laughing going.
If I didn't know it was goingto be this much work, I never
would have said yes when myspirit suggested it.
She chuckles and goes.
That's why you didn't know right, I made sure of that because I

(20:53):
knew you could do it and youdidn't think you could, and she
was right.
And there were just severalthings of writing the book and
then getting it purchased by abig publisher, and all the
different things, all the hoopsyou jumped through like I'm a
circus poodle, right, doing allthese things.
And now I look back and go, oh,I have the confidence that if I
choose to do that again, I knowI can and that's invaluable.
And if she had just told me, oh, by the way, it's going to be

(21:15):
really hard, but you can do it,I would have been like, yeah, I
think I'm good where I am, andso to have your spirit reflect
back to you, the level and depthof your growth and your
understanding of yourself andareas that you've healed in, is
huge, and there's a lot of them.
I don't really track or I don'tnotice until she explores with

(21:37):
me here's how your insecurityused to hold you back in these
kind of dynamics, or here'swhere you weren't really
confronting somebody on yourteam because of this reaction
and that reminded you of yourmom's reaction as a kid or
something.
And I'd be like you're right, and then she'll coach me through
a way to do it.
And so then, those areas ofgrowth we get to experience so

(21:59):
in the raw and really feelblessed by you know, talk
therapy is great, but havingyour spirit be able to pinpoint
specific moments that are ahinge for you, right, that limit
you in some way and help youstep past them and heal it.
There's a chapter in the bookabout labels we were given as
kids that probably wereinnocently done right.

(22:21):
Oh, you're the funny one in thefamily, or you're the troubled
one, or you're the overlysensitive one, and how we may
think.
We've outgrown them, but we'restill trying to prove them right
or prove them wrong,subconsciously.
And once you start seeing thatyou can't not see it and you're
like, oh, I'm not doing thatanymore, so things seeing that
you can't not see it and you'relike, oh, I'm not doing that
anymore, so things like that, Ijust think your spirit's
guidance is so powerful.

Rev Rachel Harrison (22:42):
You know, what I love about that is, that
is, the soul recovery process, which is to begin to look at
those things.
And as you're talking, I'mthinking about how, over the
years, I've used writing as myway to process out and I often
tell the story about how, likemy old journals are just filled
with me complaining, but now myjournals are filled with

(23:03):
guidance and wisdom andawareness.
And that's my spirit, that's meconversing with my spirit, and
those moments of contemplationand attention to myself have
brought such profound healing.
And it's not about talking tothe person or having them get

(23:24):
what I'm trying to say.
It's all an internal guidanceof being willing to look at
these things.
And they're not.
It's not like it is a magicfairy dust that goes over you
and then all of a sudden, itdoesn't exist, or it's not like
it is a magic fairy dust thatgoes over you and then, all of a
sudden, it doesn't exist orit's not painful anymore, Right,
but I would say how I woulddescribe what the change, the

(23:45):
transformation you're talkingabout is.

Christing Lang (23:47):
Also that in the beginning, your journals were
about complaining, because weall fall into what I call the
victim pit, where we want totell the story of ain't it awful
and isn't it unfair?
Here's how the universe isunfair.
I should have never gottenfired and this should have never
happened.
And that person should do morework at work instead of putting
on my plate.
And we tell the story of howthings are unfair.

(24:07):
And when we start making theshift and the growth that you
did, we start looking forwhere's the learning, where's
the silver lining for me?
How can this work for me?
What can be shown to me?
And we go from critical tocurious.
Yes, that opens up the spacefor your spirit to start
participating in theconversation with you In your

(24:30):
earlier journals.
It's all projecting out.
It's like a fire hose.
Let me tell you how bad it isright and how unfair it is.
And when you get contemplative,it's much more of a flow and
then a give and receive.

Rev Rachel Harrison (24:43):
Yes, yes, and then what I think is so
amazing is that the more I do itfor myself and then I watch
other people that I've beencoaching have these experiences,
the healings andtransformations are so deep and
so profound and so beautiful, and that's what I'm like, that's

(25:03):
why we're here.
That's why we're here is tohave this wild challenge
experience right and, in the end, to remember who we came here
to be.

Christing Lang (25:12):
I love the book illusions by Richard Bach where
he said argue for yourlimitations and sure enough they
are yours.
So when we're arguing for how,how unfair it is and how bad it
is, that's really all we can see, because we are like that fire
hose building the evidence pileof how the universe is unfair.
And you know, it's kind of likeour ego is almost like a

(25:32):
toddler having a tantrum and theuniverse just kind of sits and
goes okay, let me know whenyou're done, when you're over
yourself, right, and then we getbored with that, hopefully, and
then we start getting curiousand open to maybe there's
another way to look at this.

Rev Rachel Harrison (25:45):
And, when we look at it, different.
Everything, everything's rightthere, everything's right there,
and I think that the amount ofenergy we're putting in that
tantrum of being, I don't likethe world how it's shown up for
me.
You're giving your power away.

Christing Lang (25:59):
Right.
Well, and when we're sayingthis is how the world should be,
if it was fair.
When I first started hearing myspirit, she goes well, that's
you this Tuesday, and what youthink is fair.
By next week you will think aslightly different version is
fair, and every other ego hastheir own definition of what's
fair.
There's no way for the universeto satisfy everybody's

(26:20):
definition, so it's actuallygoing by a higher definition of
fairness, which is every soulgets to experience what it has
requested of the universe toexperience.

Rev Rachel Harrison (26:30):
So I believe that and I think that
that can be very difficult forsomebody who's just my community
, who has somebody, who'sparents or something in
addiction or like that, something you know horrible is
happening, and I think I mayhave mentioned this in the in
our other podcast, um or otherconversation was some point.

(26:53):
Someone said you know you, youchose rich for a reason.
You know my husband and all the10 or 15 years that we had of
complications, I just thought tomyself, well, that's crap.
But now I totally see it.
But when, when you are in themiddle of something that hurts
so much for someone to say toyou on some level, you chose

(27:13):
this.

Christing Lang (27:14):
It's hard, yeah, and it feels like it feels cold
.
Right, let me.
Let me offer some other tidbits.
So I think it's reallyimportant.
When I first started studying, like Abraham Hicks and you know,
law of creation, I reallystruggled with well, you can't
tell me, this two-year-old whohas cancer started thinking I
think I'm going to have cancer.
There's too many things thatdidn't make sense.

(27:35):
And so when I started hearingmy spirit, one of the things she
explained to me early on is,roughly and again, big, roughly,
roughly, 50% of what happens toyou, your soul chose before you
incarnated and the other 50% isyour ego gets to choose,
choosing the blue car versus thebrown car.
And if the blue car tends to be, you know, kind of a clunker,

(27:55):
that's not your soul going.
I really want a clunker car,right.
It's just, we get free will, both of our soul and our ego
mind.
And so how you're going toreact when somebody bumps into
you with their shopping cart inthe grocery store, that's not a
soul journey, right, that's afree will.
But the major things I got inthat car accident, I chose a
parent who is an alcoholic.
The big, big decisions andevents, those are soul chosen,

(28:21):
knowing that, okay, I'm going tochoose this person as my dad
and this person as my mom, knowing there's a good chance he
could be an alcoholic.
I'm seeing the things he'schoosing and I just suspect.
But I still think it's going tobe really powerful learning for
me to have a healing journeyand that's the script I want to
write for myself for my healingjourney.
Does that mean it'll be painful?

(28:41):
Absolutely.
How you entered the worldthrough a birth canal was
painful.
Right, we are definitely notchoosing the smooth and easy
path, for sure, but those bigevents that we tend to choose
cancer, car accidents, thingslike that those are soul chosen
for the opportunities that theybring.
And so many clients hear me saythat on podcasts and they'll

(29:02):
come say, okay, tell me how mysoul chose this.
That seems awful.
I've never had one yet thatdidn't leave the session going.
Oh wow, I see the beauty inthat.
It doesn't mean I enjoyed it,but I really I get the
perfection.

Rev Rachel Harrison (29:14):
I think that the beauty of that concept
gives us so much more strengthand ability to really look at
our lives from a new lens.
Like you can either choose tosee it and be a victim, or you
can choose to see it and be ahero, and ultimately, there's
only two choices it's love orfear.
So to move into a place where Ican look at everything that

(29:35):
happened in my life or you knowthe parents that I chose, or the
situation, or you know whateverit is when I see it from the
lens of like, well, what am Igoing to do about it?
How are you going to see it?
How are you going to show upfor it?
What are you?
How are you going to expandfrom it?
If you have someone's puttingyou down, instead of saying, oh,
they think that I'm terrible,I'm like, oh, really, just wait.
And that's like oh, it'sactually motivation for me to

(29:58):
really thrive and I look at you, know, I look at you and some of
the other new thought leadersthat I really respect, and it's
given me so much strength to goout in the world and to excel
and to want to be on that samepath too, versus somebody who
could be like oh, I could neverbe like that, or they're the
lucky ones, or every day wechoose, we choose and our spirit

(30:23):
wants for us.
That's why the access to thespirit Cause as soon as I fall
into the pity party place, shecomes and she says oh honey,
yeah, I see you, but that's notwhat we're here for.
And I'm so grateful for thatvoice.

Christing Lang (30:40):
Absolutely.
And when I was first startingto play in this realm of a major
one of the top five publishers,I was their tiny, tiny person.
I'm not the million dollarauthor with 10 bestsellers, none
of that.
So I was kind of treatedaccordingly by some in the
industry of like, oh you know, brush her off to the side, we
don't have much.
And for a few weeks I boughtinto that and I felt really

(31:03):
small and insignificant and myspirit said this book has its
own karma, it has its own pathand its own journey of who it's
supposed to reach.
You really think we won't get itin front of the people it's
supposed to be in front of.
You do your part, we'll do ours.
Don't worry about how big thenumbers are, what your

(31:26):
reputation is, what thisreputation is.
Keep your nose on your journey.
And that really helped me feellit up, like this is my purpose.
I'm not competing, I'm notgoing to compare.
And since then I've really likeI unfollow people on social
media who I probably should befollowing, who are in this space
but who are all about like well, I've known since I was five.
I was special and this is who Icame here to be.
I'm like anything that feelslike I can never get there
because you're so amazing.
That's not my message, right?

(31:48):
I don't buy that.
I think everybody has thepotential to be who they came
here to be, and your soul has avested interest in you
accomplishing your mission, andnot much is going to stop it.
So that's what I want people toanchor into.
Is you know what's going tolead me to purpose and
fulfillment?
Because it's part of my soul'sjourney and that's what's going
to light you up inside.

Rev Rachel Harrison (32:08):
I have the exact same mission for the
people that I am so honored tobe in their lives, and it's
reminded me every day that Ihave to live it and feel it too,
you know.
So it's this circle ofgratitude on all levels to
access for ourselves, first andforemost, this healing and

(32:29):
awareness, and then the gift ofgiving it, to be able to freely
provide people with very cleardirections as to how they can

(32:51):
access this part to themselves, because everyone has it.
This isn't only the specialpeople who can see auras.

Christing Lang (32:58):
Who've been seeing since they were five.
It's not that If you're hereand you're breathing, you have a
soul, which means you have aspirit and your spirit is dying
to talk to you.

Rev Rachel Harrison (33:08):
That's fabulous.
Well, that's a great littleplace to close up.
We are airing this prior to thelaunch.
The book is available onpre-order.
You want to talk a little bitabout how to access it and also
how to reach you.

Christing Lang (33:21):
The book comes out June 10th, but we're
publishing this episode earlybecause there are pre-order
giveaways.
Rev Rach wants you to havethose giveaways.
You can order it on my websiteor Amazon or Books A Million or
Barnes Noble wherever you liketo order a book.
Then just grab your receiptnumber, go back to my website
and put it in the little slotand it'll.
If you order one book or twobooks or three books, you get

(33:43):
different gifts and it'll emailit straight to you.
So, get the book, but get it nowso you can get a little bonus
gift as well, and I'm thrilledthat people have been saying, oh
my God, I love this gift somuch.
I can't wait for the book.
So there's different exercisesyou can do guided meditations,
classes that I've taught, different giveaways, and my

(34:10):
website is christinelangorg andyou can go there, and there's
all kinds of free stuff as well.
When you join the email list, there's a free guided meditation
where you can figure out amessage that a chronic symptom
is giving you in your body.
There's free guided meditationson the website.
There's all kinds of stuff.
I'm currently booked out, but Ihave cancellations a couple
times a month and I put them onsocial media.
So follow me on Instagram orFacebook and we put those up.

(34:33):
That's the best way to jump inwith me.
We open up the sessions theprivate sessions once a quarter,
but you can also follow me onsocial media.
Are you going to continue doingyour monthly workshop?
I'm rolling out, actually inthe next week or two, several
different monthly workshops andthen I'll do those monthly
classes.
Your Energy Matters I'llprobably do once a quarter, and

(34:56):
now I have something that'scalled the Healers Roundtable,
which is anybody who's doingenergy healing work and wants to
meet.
I just want a safe space forpeople to share.
Well, I wonder if I made thisup.
You know, I put energy in myelbow and it feels better, but
did I make it up?
Or how come this got better butthat didn't?
So I've got that going and thenafter the book comes out which
is called Ask your Spirit, we'regonna have an Ask your Spirit
Mastermind Group where peoplecan ask those same kind of

(35:18):
questions about why did myspirit not answer this question.
I wanna be able to give peoplethat follow-up tutorials and
answer in live calls.
So that'll be another monthlything.
So I'm rolling out new thingsand trying to see what feels
like it helps people the most.

Rev Rachel Harrison (35:35):
That's fabulous and, being somebody
who's in this space, we have tohave work-life balance.
It's this dance of how can Ihelp the most people and also
make sure that you have plentyof time for you and your sweetie
, who have been seeing on socialmedia, so that's fabulous.

Christing Lang (35:52):
Well, I want people to read the book and get
motivated to start askingquestions, but then I don't want
them to feel like then they, then they're, they're on their
own.
So that's my goal is to helpyou feel, whether you're doing
energy healing work, whetheryou're asking your spirit
questions about your career andyour kids, or you know your
aging parents, whatever it isthat that I can help you with
phraseology so you get the bestanswers.

(36:12):
And even doing groupmeditations, people get more
answers then because I'm holdingthe energy up for them.
So all those sort of things I'mjust.
This next year is going to besort of evolving what things
help everybody the most, andthat's for me.
Spiritual humility is not megoing.
I know what everybody needs.
They need this.
It's like let's put thesethings out and see if you guys
like them and if you requestsomething else, we'll evolve it

(36:34):
right.
I've been evolving thispractice for the last couple of
years to really help people asmuch as I can in, like I said,
the time that I have each day.

Rev Rachel Harrison (36:48):
That's beautiful.
Well, I'm honored again to haveyou here with me and to be part
of your circle, and I thank youfor everything that you've
given me in learning and growingand expanding and also
validating a voice that waswithin me that's been growing
and helping me believe that it'sreal.

Christing Lang (37:02):
So I thank you for that.
You're so dead center in themiddle of your path.
It's kind of unmistakable,right.
It's easy to validate that foryou and I look at you and you're
like glowing with this pathright in front of you and you're
dead center and it's you're aneasy one to validate.
Thank you, Christine, Iappreciate that You're welcome.

Rev Rachel Harrison (37:20):
Well, I'm excited to see where this leads
and how it's going to help theworld.

Christing Lang (37:26):
So I just appreciate your time again.
