The play was adapted from Poe's short story and directed by Tony Tsendeas. Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado" was published in November 1846, in Godey's Lady's Book. This performance of Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado" was recorded before a live audience on June 22nd, 2013 at Westminster Hall Burial Grounds, in Baltimore, Maryland, where Edgar Allan Poe is buried.
