I just wanna tell you a littlebit.
Maui before we begin a Reikimeditation at the beautiful home
of William Lee.
Rand Maui is the second largestof the Hawaiian Islands.
It's located in the CentralPacific Ocean.
(04:52):
It's actually part of the stateof Hawaii and is the 17th
largest island in the us.
The history of Maui is closelytied to the history of the
Hawaiian Islands, which weresettled by Polynesian voyagers,
who migrated from the Marquessaislands and other parts of
Polynesia in the sixth centuryAD.
(05:16):
The early settlers brought aunique culture to Hawaii and
these still influence the islandtoday.
In the early 19th century, Mauiand the other Hawaiian islands
were unified under the rule of aKing.
King.
The first, if I pronounce thatand he established the kingdom
(05:39):
of Hawaii.
They experienced significanteconomic and cultural growth.
They developed agriculture,trade, and tourism.
But in the late 19 and early20th centuries, the Hawaiian
Islands became part of the usa.
They were a territory in 1900,and in 1959, Hawaii became the
(06:03):
50th state of the United States.
Maui is popular for tourists, and it's known for its beautiful
beaches, diverse landscapes, andrich cultural history.
It is home to a variety ofattractions, including the
Haluka National Park the HanaHighway.
(06:24):
Scenic Road, which wines alongthe eastern coast of the island,
and it has a rich, diversespiritual and cultural history.
The early Polynesian settlers ofMaui who migrated to the island
around the sixth century ADbrought.
A complex spiritual beliefsystem deeply connected to the
(06:46):
natural world In Hawaiianmythology, Maui is revered as a
demi god and cultural hero who'screated with many, or credited
with many feets, includingLassoing the Sun, to show its
journey across the sky andcreating the Hawaiian Islands.
The.
(07:07):
In Hawaiian spiritual practices,Maui is often invoked as a
source of strength, power, andprotection.
Maui's natural beauty and manysacred sites have also attracted
spiritual seekers andpractitioners from around the
world.
This island is home to a numberof sacred sites and energy
(07:27):
centers, including the NationalPark, which I mentioned.
A massive volcanic crater, whichis believed to be a portal to
other dimensions.
It's also got a strong presenceof Buddhism, Hinduism, and
Christianity, as well as new ageand alternative spiritual
practitioners.
(07:48):
And the bamboo forest in Maui islocated.
in the state park.
It's a lush, tropical foresthome to a variety of bamboo
species and other flora andfauna.
It's located on a trail in thearea of Hallak National Park,
(08:11):
located on the eastern side ofthe island.
It's a beautiful hiking trail,which ends in a four.
Foot tall waterfall.
That's actually where we'regoing tomorrow.
The bamboo forest is beautiful.
It's known for its serenesetting, the distinctive sound
of the bamboo stocks as theyrustle in the wind, and many
(08:34):
people visit the forest to justenjoy the sacredness and the
peaceful atmosphere and to takein the natural beauty of the
area.
In addition.
It's home to.
incredible waterfalls, streamsand pools.
It's a popular spot for birdwatching as it's home to a
(08:58):
variety of native Hawaiian birdspecies and species that aren't
found anywhere else.
It has a great spiritualsignificance in Hawaiian
culture.
The park and the bamboo forest,it's home to sacred sites and
energy centers.
(09:18):
The spiritual significance ofthe bamboo forest and other
natural areas in Hawaii isdeeply rooted in the culture and
traditions of the Hawaiianpeople.
And I also wanted to talk to youtoday before we begin our
meditation about a beautifulHawaiian practice.
(09:40):
Called Ho Oppo Ono.
This is something in Hawaiianculture.
It's closely related to theconcept of Bono, which indicates
righteousness, balance, andharmony.
And so in Hawaiian society,Hoppo Op Ono was an important
value that governed all aspectsof life from relationships of
(10:03):
oth with others to the way thatnatural resources are used.
And today, this frame, thisphrase is still widely used in
Hawaii and.
it often is invoked as areminder to follow the proper
way of doing things, to maintainbalance and harmony in all
(10:24):
aspects of life.
It's also used in the context oftraditional Hawaiian cultural
practices, such as hula, whereproper protocols and traditions
must be followed.
To honor the culturalsignificance of the dance.
Now, one of the things that weare most aware of with HOA Op
(10:45):
Ono are the four statements, andthey are really useful.
If there's anything or anyone inyour life that's out of balance,
and what you do is you think ofthat and you say, I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
(11:06):
And I love.
So if there are anyrelationships in your life that
are out of balance, I encourageyou to give that a try.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
And I love you.
And now I'd like to invite youto experience the beauty of
(11:29):
William Lee Rand's home.
And I thank him for theopportunity to share it with you
today.
So behind me is the beautifulPacific Ocean.
The other day we saw somehumpback whales out there.
This is actually where they cometo give birth, but there's also
really something special aboutthe energy of Hawaii.
(11:50):
And so I wanted to share thatwith you today.
And this week we are in Maui.
A couple of the things thatwe've been able to do is just go
over to the local beach.
We went to Yana yesterday andhad an opportunity to visit a
sea cave after we hiked across alava.
(12:12):
Path and trail.
Tomorrow we'll be going to thesacred bamboo Forest, and this
is my third time here, and soI'm going to try to bring in a
lot of those energies in ourmeditation today.
This is the beginning of theyear.
It's really a time for lettinggo of the old and bringing in
(12:34):
the new, and I think thepowerful energy of Maui and of
the.
that is just so close to thesurface underneath of us.
I think that's just exactly theenergy that will help you do
that.
And if you've been going alittle too fast as I had been
doing before coming here justdoing a little too much,
(12:54):
especially during the Christmasrush when we spent time with
family and so on.
Goal is to really help yourelease all of that in our
meditation today.
So I'd just like to invite youto close your eyes, take a deep
(13:15):
breath, and on your end breath, breathe in the light of Reiki
that surrounds you.
And on your out breath, justreleasing anything that no
longer serves you.
Bringing your hands and Gasshoto activate your Reiki energy.
(13:40):
You can hear the beautiful musicof the birds that surrounds us.
The just start to feel into thispure and primitive energy of the
island.
Your relaxed nature of theculture here.
(14:01):
Just feeling your heartbeatsettle, placing your hands
comfortably over your heart.
Breathe.
I'm just noticing the beautifuldivine beings, the angels, the
(14:23):
arch angels, the brothers andsisters of the light that
surround us.
I'm feeling very protected andsafe even in this powerful
energy field.
(14:45):
Just close to the volcanicactivity behind us is the big
island where my friend Joan Moklives and where we'll be going
next week and I'll be coming toyou from Mrs.
Taika's studio next week if allgoes well, bringing in that
(15:09):
energy.
So we're really.
To the North American birthplaceof Reiki, and tomorrow, next
week we'll be even closer.
We'll be on the doorstep.
I invite you to imagine thatit's a beautiful, warm, sunny
(15:29):
day, and as you close your eyes, the distance symbol has created
a beautiful bridge light infront of you.
And as you walk over that bridgethat's surrounded with angels
(15:50):
and dark angels and brothers andsisters of the light, you
realize you're coming right hereto join me in Maui.
You can feel the energy of theearth and it feels just a little
(16:12):
different Here.
We feel very close to the energyof the earth, and when you
arrive on the other side of thebridge, you can feel the energy
of the earth moving up throughthe bottoms of your feed, and
you imagine that you're walking.
(16:34):
along the twisty Turney HanaHighway.
Beautiful waterfalls to yourright and beautiful cliffs and
ocean vistas to your left Ocean.
Waves are not gentle here.
They pound the surf and splashvery high and.
(17:01):
The water is crystalline andpure, and imagine that as you're
walking along this magicalhighway, exploring all the
twists and turns, somewhat likethe twists and turns that occur
(17:26):
in our everyday life.
And you arrive here with me atthe edge of William's property,
beautiful birds around us, yourcattle just behind us, the when
(17:50):
times have just started since webegan, and you can feel.
Heat of the sun as well as thebeautiful breeze that blows in
off the water.
The temperature is perfect hereand so together we sit in a
(18:14):
circle.
You beautiful being of thelight.
You join.
Other beautiful human beings ofthe light that are using Reiki
in their own lives and spreadingReiki on the planet.
(18:34):
And we come together and in thiscircle, we feel our hearts
connect and sitting on theearth.
We feel very connected with the.
A beautiful beam of light, pierces the highest heavens and
(18:58):
shines directly upon you.
Upon each of us continues toconnect us with our higher
selves and with each other, andwe move into that higher.
Vibration that is available tous from that higher vibration.
(19:26):
The solution to any problems orquestions or difficulties that
you've been experiencing, justflow in and you may not know
what the solutions are.
The understanding of thesolutions is an unfoldment.
(19:47):
That will happen over time, butjust know that the energy of
solution has been installedwithin you and from this place
of higher consciousness we canrecognize.
(20:08):
Any of the energy we're carryingfrom the past year.
Some of that energy containedlessons for us.
Some of it was beautiful, someof it was not beautiful.
Some of it was difficult, butregardless of what it was, It is
(20:37):
in the past, and so we're goingto breathe several moments in
this space together, justletting go of any energies that
we no longer need, any energiesthat are not part of our life
(20:58):
purpose and our path forward.
(23:08):
If there are any injuries, anygrief, any anger or frustration,
any spirit attachments or anycommitments from the past, from
any time in your soul's historythat weigh heavily upon you.
We release them now with loveand some of those go deep into
(23:33):
the earth where they will berecycled to open a flower or
grow a blade of grass or hatch achick, or do some other
beautiful, energetic thing andothers float up into the heavens
where they too.
(23:54):
Will be recycled.
They're listened to her nurturedand healed all the way back to
their original cause.
(25:48):
And you just feel the freedom ofall of that release and the
parts of you that were holdingon to.
Or spirit attachments oranything at all that was not
healthy for you and not in yourbest interest.
Those parts of your energy andof your being are connected with
(26:12):
the third Heaven now and healed, and they're healed completely so
that they can never be used byunhealthy energies ever again.
And over time with this process, your energetic field becomes
(26:34):
healthier and healthier.
That's one of the reasons I'm sograteful that so many of you
show up every week to experiencethe healing so that your energy
becomes stronger and healthier, and that you open your hearts to
(26:57):
receive.
So I ask you now to open yourheart and receive the beautiful
energy of Maui in Hawaii.
Imagine traveling down below thesurf surface of the earth until
(27:23):
you reach the water, and then alittle further until you reach
the hot lava.
It's not so far beneath thesurface here.
That is the fire and the waterof the elements.
You feel yourself seated on theearth.
(27:44):
You feel the breeze, the airblowing around you and you feel
the breeze just releasing anyresidue.
Anything that was holding youback, and you're connected to
the four elements now, earth, air, fire, and water, there's a
(28:04):
wholeness and a completenessthat moves through you.
You can feel the.
Sacredness of this specialisland, the peace, the
tranquility, the relaxed natureof the people.
(28:30):
You can feel the beauty and alsothe intensity of the waves and
the purity of the ocean allaround and.
Ocean creatures are here.
The terrestrial creatures arehere.
(28:51):
We're surrounded by the divineanimal, kingdom, earth, air, and
water.
And to our left is the bambooforest, and this is acres and
(29:13):
acres of bamboo.
Are all connected to oneorganism, one bamboo that was
planted.
The bamboo forest is very sacredfor the Hawaiian people.
(29:35):
Quite often when we hike throughand when we go into the bamboo
to meditate, we do so in.
I invite you to imagine thatwe've been transported now to
the bamboo forest, and just likewe do on our retreat, you find a
(29:57):
spot on your own and yourhealing has gone from a group
healing to your own personalhealing.
Now, The energy of your, thenthe sacredness of the bamboo
surround you the silence exceptfor the wildlife, the energy of
(30:27):
Maui, of the lava, of the ocean,of the plants, and the.
Of the bamboo.
These all begin to guide you.
Now I invite you to follow theguidance of these energies.
(32:24):
You feel the light of serenitynow flow through you.
Connecting you with your lifepurpose and empowering your
goals, those goals that you havefor the new year release, the
(32:47):
past.
And now you're empowering thefuture along with serenity.
Weaving together like thestrands of DNA is the light of
hope.
Open your heart and receive themnow and allow them to begin to
(33:08):
guide you.
(38:19):
I'd like to invite you to stayhere as long as you feel guided
in the beautiful, peaceful,relaxing.
Energy, Maui.
Whenever you feel ready, you canreturn and invite you to return.
(38:40):
Just grateful to Maui, to yourearth, to the heavens, to Reiki,
rested, relaxed.
All stagnant energies releasedand your goals empowered the
(39:02):
solutions unfolding within you.
Thank William Rand for thepermission.
To bring you here with me today, and I thank you for joining me
(39:31):
and for the beautiful light thatyou're spreading in the world.
We are blessed to be of alineage of light brain.
Who are creating wellness on theearth today?
Empowered by world of peace.
Holy Fire, Reiki.
Aho.
