This is something that I thinkis so important this time of
year.
And This Reiki share is actuallypart of some self care.

Before we go much too far in,I'd just like to let you know
about some of the upcomingclasses this weekend.
We have Animal CommunicationLevel 1 and 2 in the Eastern
Time Zone.
Animal Communication Level 3 isover two evenings Also in the

Eastern time zone, Monday andTuesday evening, December 9th
and 10th.
And then it's also being offeredin an Asian and Australian
friendly time zone, December14th and 15th.
So it would be really early inthe morning here in North
America.
It's 5 a.
m.
for me in the Atlantic timezone, but it will work well for

We also have Reiki one and two,January 25th to 26th, a weekend

stretch out into our holidaysseason, our path on our holiday,
just to help us navigate theseason with grace and with
harmony.
We invite the energy to remindus to do our self care.

Sometimes in the busyness.
We get away from it, but it'sprobably then that we need it
the most.
We invite Reiki to help usmaintain peace with loved ones,
help us find the light in thehustle and the bustle, how to
illuminate areas for our ownhealing and growth, how to help

us see the positive in everysituation, and not brace during
the busy season.
We take a moment just toappreciate Reiki, the divine

(06:22):
ones who guide us.
And to assist us and toappreciate each other, we are so
blessed to be of this lineage oflight bringers who are creating
wellness on the earth today.
And that begins with youcreating wellness within you and

(06:44):
take a moment to appreciate howyou elevate the energy on the
planet just by being you.

So welcome everyone.

I don't know about you, but theholidays can be a particularly
difficult time to navigateespecially with young families,
with family members coming home,even though we're so excited by
so many of the activities, thereare so many activities, that it

(07:30):
can also become reallyoverwhelming.
And if you tend to be anintrovert, all of the
extroverted activities that thathappen can be draining.
And even when you're anextrovert, There can be a lot of
drain and strain.
There can be drain and strain onthe pocketbook, on the family
relationships.

(07:50):
And so here's just a few thingsthat we can do in the month
ahead, just to help us navigatethis holiday a little bit
better.
If there's a regular self care,that you do, whether it's
massage or reflexology, Reikisessions sports, yoga classes,

(08:12):
whatever it is, try and book afew ahead so that they're, so
that they're set and your selfcare is in your calendar.
When you put gifts together forothers, just ensure that you
place a little bit of Reiki inevery gift.

(08:35):
And for every gathering, sendReiki ahead.
If you have the distance symbol,we can send Reiki ahead to every
gathering.
Something else we can do is wecan use Reiki to help us listen
better and more to every familymember.

(08:57):
In Animal Reiki, we work on deeplistening.
Those skills can be used withour family members, just trying
to ensure that those familymembers understand that they are
being heard and that they feltheard.

(09:17):
We can also use these suisymbols.
The distance symbol can help usconnect, the emotional balance
symbol can help us connect withthe emotions of the other people
and also understand them a bitbetter.

(09:39):
And the power symbol can empowerour interactions with others.
So we can use those to just helplistening.
in our family situations.
And we can also use Reiki tohelp manage expectations,
allowing us to let go of theshoulds and understand that

(10:00):
things don't have to be perfect.
in order to be good.
And the final thing that I'dlike to suggest that I, these
are some of the things that Itry to do during the holiday
season.
The final thing that I reallywould like to recommend is just
using the mental and emotionalsymbol to send through any

(10:24):
relationship chords if there areany disharmonious or strained
relationships.
Another thing you could do isimagine the sun with all of the
people whose relationships arenot harmonious under the sun and
the sun would have that mentalemotional symbol in it.

(10:45):
But however you decide toapproach it, that mental
emotional symbol can reallyassist us with any disharmonious
relationships and it makes ahuge difference.
In family gatherings, one of thethings that we talk about is

(11:06):
just the holiday challenge thatso many times we do this work
and we work on ourselves and wethink, wow, we've come so far
and we have.
But if you ever wonder how faryou've come, go spend some time
with your family, becausethey're going to push buttons,

(11:26):
and they're going to, I reallyfeel that those family
relationships they show us theareas that we still have to work
on.
And for that, among so manyother things, they are a gift.
And so some of the commonstressors that are going to be

(11:48):
getting in the way for all of usare some of those difficult
family reactions, interactionsthat can be stressful.
The lack of time for self care,societal expectations, the just
the amount of things that we tryto fit into our schedule.
But I really do believe thateach gathering can show us It's

(12:09):
an area for personal growth andhealing, and it can also show us
how we can flip our lens andexperience the joy and the love
in all of it, which is reallythe main purpose anyway, the
main idea, and I'm going to tryto do the same.

(12:30):
We know that using Reiki in theholiday season can help support
us with self care, harmony,emotional balance.
And so just trying to get inyour self sessions.
I've started doing them in bedbefore I even get out of bed in
the morning.
I do a little yoga.
Move to get my lymph flowingthat my teacher recently showed

(12:55):
me, and do my self session atthe same time.
I don't even get out of bedwithout it.
I really love doing it that way,just five and ten minutes before
getting out of bed each morning.
We also, In those times when weare lacking emotional balance,

(13:16):
when we're not feeling inharmony with people around us, I
have talked different times inthe podcast about bracing the
fact that when we are brace oragainst another that there's
going to be difficulty.
There's going to be pushing backand forth in a fight, but it's

(13:37):
possible to ask Reiki to helpyou ground any bracing energy,
Within you, into the ground, andthis is something I learned by
working with horses.
When you're working with atwelve to fourteen hundred pound
horse, and you would like themto do something that they do not

(13:58):
wish to do, your little humanbody is not strong enough to
muscle them.
into doing it.
However, if you can take all ofthe brace out of your body, and
by brace resistance it's sointeresting.
The horse just follows even whenthere's, when it's something

(14:21):
they don't want to do becausethere's nothing for them to
fight against.
And so instead of this battle,you wind up with a really
beautiful dance.
And I'd like you, I'd each andevery one of us to just explore
how can we turn those stressfulsituations and moments through

(14:44):
the holidays into a dance.
And I think one of the best waysis just to invite Reiki to
assist you so that you're notbracing in those difficult
situations.
And also to help Reiki give youthe lens of the positive in
everything.
Because once we learn to seeunder all of our own injuries to

(15:08):
the beautiful spirit that existsinside of us and many of you
have had a glimpse of thatbeauty.
that you are and have inside.
And once you see that insideyourself, you begin to see it in
everything and everyone aroundyou.
It's just a matter of maybe notgoing into an old pattern or an

(15:31):
old habit, which that is broughtout in these family situations.
And instead to just see thebeauty in everyone and
everything around you.
And then just look for the joy.
I know one Christmas at my houseDad and I, who've never agreed
with the way that he's neveragreed with how I keep my

(15:54):
horses, and I've never reallyagreed with how he keeps his,
and we had very strong opinionsabout that, and Animal Reiki
really helped me release mybrace and strong opinions.
And as soon as I did, Withoutever saying anything to my
father about it, he releasedhis, and we had one of the most

(16:15):
meaningful conversations thatwe've ever had, where he told me
that, he actually agreed withwhat I was doing, but he was
just too old to change at thispoint.
He'd been doing it the way hehad for so long that he wasn't
going to change.
Change, and it was lovely.
And I remember it was, I don'tthink it was that same

(16:36):
Christmas, but another Christmaswhen Cribbage Game broke out and
with my, with the kids and theirgrandparents, and just thinking
about some of those reallywonderful, joyful moments.
in the holidays.
And also being aware that noteveryone has a lot of family

(17:00):
around.
For some people, the holidaysare one of the most lonely
times.
And if there's anyone thatyou're aware of that just
wondering if there's somethingthat we can do to make that a
bit better for them.
So there's a few things thoughthat we can do to ensure that we

(17:26):
look after ourselves with Reikiduring the holidays.
One of the things is we cansimply set an intention, even
this evening, for peace andharmony to be around you at all
times and follow you and flowthrough with you during the
holidays.
We can do our best to do maybe amorning self Reiki, to make sure

(17:52):
we bless our meals with Reiki,to breathe mindfully with Reiki,
to do yoga or whatever otherexercise, walking, and In the
woods that feeds us, just makingsure we do that and make sure
that we remember to ask forguidance.
I always come back to WilliamRand's message.

(18:15):
Please guide me and heal me sothat I may be of greater service
to myself and to others.
And here's a few ideas if you dohave some family gatherings or
work gatherings coming up.
Just a few Reiki rituals thatmight help with that.
Because they can sometimes beemotionally charged and

(18:38):
difficult and old patterns andhabits can show up.
So one thing you can do is justset an intention for harmony by
sitting quietly, for listening.
Let's do this together today,just placing your hands on your
heart and just visualize anygatherings.
that you'll be a part of thisseason and invite them to go

(19:04):
smoothly with love andunderstanding flowing freely.
You may have an intention forthat gathering and it's okay to
state it to yourself nowsilently or aloud.
And it can be whatever youchoose.
It could be something like, Ihold space for harmony,

(19:28):
compassion and connection oranything else.
And just bringing your Reikisymbols in.
inviting them to be part ofthat.
Another thing that you can do iscreate a Reiki bubble of light

(19:50):
that surrounds you.
You can go ahead and do thatright now too.
Just imagine or invite Reiki tosurround you and invite this
light to protect you and upliftyou and keep your energy
balanced for the busy monthahead.
Imagine the bubble justexpanding outward.

(20:15):
When you're in gatherings, justenveloping the entire space and
filling it with love and harmonyfor everyone to share.
We can also cleanse and clearour spaces with Reiki.
I'd like you to think of some ofthe spaces that you'll be

(20:36):
spending time in over the nextmonth.
And because if you have thedistance symbol, we can go ahead
and clear them now and chargethe space with Reiki, just
helping us have a highvibrational environment.
And as you walk through thespace, or if you're there before

(20:59):
others arrive, just walk aroundthe room and breathe Reiki
energy, or send it through youreyes into every corner, just
imagining and allowing it touplift the atmosphere.
And you can send symbols throughyour breath and through your
eyes.
And if you can't physicallyprepare the space, Lizette

(21:22):
taught me how to do this.
Use the distance symbol andvisualize the space and infuse
it with peace, harmony, and joyand Reiki before you even get
there.
Another thing that Reiki canhelp us to do is just remain
grounded and centered.

(21:43):
Calm and present in everyinteraction.
I'm going to invite you for thispart to move your hands to your
lower abdomen or thighs and justimagine roots growing deeply
into the earth.
Imagine Reiki's energy isflowing through you, just

(22:06):
connecting you to the earth'sstability.
and your own inner strength.
We are so much stronger and morepowerful than what we believe
ourselves to be and if there areany energies that are not
helpful to you now, just imaginethem going down through the

(22:27):
roots and dissipating into theearth where they'll be
transmuted and used to dosomething beautiful open a
flower or grow a blade of grass,hatch a chick.
We also have the ability to useReiki for emotional release.

(22:49):
Getting rid of any pre gatheringstress or anxiety to, so that we
can show up with an open heart.
And if you're an empath, like Iam, maybe you're carrying around
some extra burdens right now ofenergy that is not your own.
I just invite you to look inyour body right now in this

(23:13):
moment in time for any lingeringtension, worry, or fear that you
might feel about the holidays orany of the gatherings.
Thanks.
And just allow your hands now tomove to the part of your body
where the tension exists.
It could be the heart or thestomach or the throat, the eyes.

(23:39):
And we just invite Reiki now todissolve any empath energy and
the cords and connectors thatkeep it attached to us and any
of our own emotions.
that would get in the way of usenjoying the holiday season and

(23:59):
all of the people that we'll bespending it with.
And we release all of theseenergies and emotions and we
invite them to be replaced withpeace and light and love and
joy.

(24:21):
Another thing we can do duringthe holiday season is just
infuse love into food anddrinks.
Food is really important at thistime of the year and Reiki can
not only amplify its nourishingand comforting qualities but it

(24:42):
can help it be healthier for usby attuning it to the
frequencies of those people whowill be consuming it.
If you're preparing or bringingfood, just hold your hands over
it and infuse it with the Reikienergy, imagining love and
positivity flowing into everybite.

(25:04):
And you can silently set anintention like, may this food
nourish the body and soul andbring joy to all who share it.
Something along those lines.
You can also practice hands onReiki.
Before heading out to an event,a quick Reiki session will make

(25:28):
sure that you're centered andbalanced.
So if you can just take five orten minutes, even if it's in the
car on the way, just focusing onareas like your head, your
heart, your solar plexus,wherever you feel you need to
be.
Energy could be the tops of yourlegs and the roots growing, the

(25:50):
grounding, but just take a bitof time just inviting the Reiki
energy to fill you with calm andjoy and that open hearted spirit
that you want to go into everygathering with.
You can also practice somethingcalled Loving Kindness Reiki.

(26:15):
Just allowing yourself as youconnect or visualize each person
who will be at the gathering.
Just imagine sending them a softwave of Reiki energy, infused
with love, understanding,compassion.
And you don't have to havepermissions to do this, simply

(26:37):
because if there's anyone whowould not wish to receive the
Reiki energy, the Reiki willnever go against them.
their free will, they won'treceive it.
But you can go ahead and send itand offer it to all of those who
will be in the gathering.
And sometimes I even just placeit around the room and invite it

(26:59):
to move to any person who isopen to receiving it.
And you could maybe even add abeautiful intention like, May
this gathering be filled withlove, kindness, and mutual
respect, especially if it's thetype of gathering that isn't
always filled with that.

(27:20):
You can also draw the Reikisymbols on yourself before going
into any gathering, any shoppingmall, any anything, and this
will just anchor your energy andcreate a sense of peace so that
you can go into these spaces,these areas, much more easily.

(27:42):
You can draw the symbols in yourhands, in your palms, you can
draw them over your heart, oreven just in the air around you.
Just inviting their energy towrap around you, help you stay
grounded and balanced during theevent.
And this is a little bit likethe protective bubble, but just

(28:03):
a slightly different variation.
You can also just take a momentto send a silent Reiki prayer or
affirmation, something like I amcentered in love and light.
I bring harmony to this spaceand I trust Reiki to guide and

(28:25):
support me.
You can invite Reiki to go inahead of you and just clear the
path, make the way.
And as you're doing this, youmay even want to spend a bit of
time considering what you'regrateful for with each
gathering, with each event, witheach activity.

(28:48):
And finally, one of the lastthings that we can do to assist
us is journaling and spend sometime in quiet reflection before
stepping into some of the busyholiday activities.
This can just help release anyworries or doubts, it can help

(29:12):
set intentions can also what Ifind with journaling is that it
can help me figure out what I'mactually feeling as an empath.
My feelings can sometimes getvery muddled with those people
that are around me, you may findthat too.
And by sitting and spending abit of time journaling, I

(29:36):
understand, what I'm worriedabout, what I'm looking forward
to, that sort of thing.
And I even sometimes can set anintention, like how I'd like the
gathering to feel, what role I'dlike to play that sort of thing.
And just, and I also always tryto spend some time thinking
about what I'm grateful forabout my family, about the

(29:56):
holidays, and it just shifts.
That gratefulness just shifts usso that we're seeing the light
and love rather than the stressand trouble and anxiety.
And in fact, there's a fewjournaling prompts I'd like to
leave you with.
Things like If you want toreflect on inner peace and

(30:19):
balance, you might think, youmight just prompt yourself with
how can I use Reiki to maintainmy balance during this holiday
season and then just letyourself write automatically
whatever comes to your mindwithout censoring or editing.
You can explore gratitude withthings like, what am I most

(30:39):
grateful for?
this holiday season or with thisevent coming up.
You can explore lessons fromyour family dynamics with
questions like what have myfamily interactions taught me
about where I can heal and growor where I need to heal and grow
or what are they teaching me?

(31:02):
There's always something there.
You can journal and use Reikiaround looking for the positive
things like just thinking aboutwhat was beautiful yesterday.
or today, or in this moment?
How can I focus on the beauty?
You can ask yourself thesequestions, and then just let

(31:24):
your hand flow.
You might even want to setintentions for harmony with
questions or journal promptslike, How can Reiki help me
create harmony andunderstanding?
And you might have a specificgathering or thing in mind.

(31:47):
You can use journaling even forself care and energy renewal.
What do I need right now?
What does my body need tonourish it?
And just let yourself write.
You can use Reiki if you areexperiencing stress and tension

(32:08):
and journal prompts.
What am I ready to release?
What am I feeling?
What would my holiday experiencelook like if I let go of stress?
We can even use a journalingprompt to explore the gift of

(32:30):
Reiki.
Things like, the prompt couldbe, How do I use Reiki to spread
more love, light, and healing toothers this season?
Or who could benefit, or whatcould benefit from receiving
Reiki during the holidays?

(32:50):
We could also use a journalingprompt around embracing seasonal
lessons, like what lesson am Imeant to learn this holiday
season about patience, love, orconnection, or anything really?
Or how can Reiki help me embracemy lessons?

(33:12):
And finally, you may wish to useReiki and a journaling prompt to
help you create a vision for thenew year.
And I'm going to be talkingabout this and our next Reiki
share on January 2nd.
But we're going to go into, whatdo I want to bring forward from

(33:33):
2024 and from the season intothe year ahead?
How can Reiki support me goinginto the new year?
What are my intentions anddreams?
And so we'll go into that alittle more depth, but that's
something you may wish toexplore on your own.

(33:54):
Does anybody have any questionsor comments about any of those
ideas before we move into ourmeditation today?
So we're going to move into ameditation of harmony and light

(34:19):
for the holidays.
This is just going to help us aswe step into the holiday season,
take a moment to pause, connectwith Reiki, and just nurture a
sense of harmony, light, andpeace within ourselves, which
then stretches out to others.

(34:42):
So I'm going to invite you tomake yourself really
comfortable, seated or lyingdown to close your eyes, just
taking a deep breath, allowingyour body to relax completely
and fully now, and just allowingyour awareness to settle into

(35:03):
this moment in time.
And we'll take a little bit oftime at the beginning of our
meditation, just to ground andcenter a little bit more.

(35:23):
So I invite you to focus on yourbreath, and with every inhale,
feel yourself pulling thecalming, healing energy of Reiki
into your body.
You can even invite it and allowit to move into any areas of

(35:45):
your body that may feel tense orstressed.
or painful.
And with each exhale, you canrelease any tension, stress,
worry, pain.
Let's breathe like this togetherfor at least 12 breaths.

(38:37):
Now just imagine those rootsgrowing from the soles of your
feet into the earth, anchoringyou deeply into the earth.
Feel the earth's stability andsupport beneath you and Send
your consciousness down intothose roots and allow them to

(38:59):
move all the way through theearth and the soil into the
groundwater and the bedrockbeneath the groundwater, just
connecting firmly and deeplywith the place that you reside.

(39:29):
And now I invite you to bringyour awareness back up through
the earth, through the roots,into your body.
all the way up to the crown ofyour head and beyond.
And just imagine a beautifulstream of Reiki energy and

(39:49):
light, whatever color that isfor you, flowing down from
above, from the highest heavens,and just filling you with warmth
and peace and Reiki.
Allow these two energies tomeet.

(40:13):
the earth's grounding energy andyour heart and your divine
energy from the highest heavensand allow them to just become
stable in your heart center,moving you into a space of
perfect balance.

(40:42):
And as you continue to breathedeeply, just imagine this golden
light expanding from your heart.
See it radiating outward, justfilling your entire body.

(41:02):
Tension and heaviness just can'tremain.
They're washed away in thislight.
Allow it to flow into your mind,just calming and slowing any of
those busy thoughts.

(41:28):
Allow it to flow into youremotions, just bringing peace
and clarity.
I invite you to imagine thepeople that you love the most,

(41:49):
your friends, your loved ones,your family members, your animal
friends, and just imaginesurrounding them with this same
beautiful light that's beamingfrom your heart.
If there's any bracing orconflict, tension or

(42:13):
misunderstanding with any of thefamily members, just allow Reiki
to replace that with love andharmony.

(42:34):
Imagine yourself connecting witheach of these loved ones with
ease and understanding.
The ability to listen to themand hear them, listen deeply.
The ability for yourrelationship and your connection

(42:55):
to be supported.
by the beauty and love of theReiki energy.
And we're just going to breatheat least 12 breaths here as we
just allow this light to expandand connect with each and every

(43:23):
being that you love, droppingall conflict, tension, stress,
discord.
We'll remain here.

(45:54):
And now from this beautifulspace, we are going to take some
time to just embrace the giftsof the season, shifting from the
difficulties to the beauty.
I invite you to imagine theholiday season in front of us as

(46:19):
a beautiful landscape.
See it filled with Moments ofjoy, warmth, connection, times
when you feel connected andheard and loved and cherished.

(46:43):
Let Reiki guide you to focus onthe positives, even amidst the
challenges, and I invite you torepeat silently to yourselves,
Embrace the light and harmonywithin me.

(47:04):
And I share it freely withothers.
And we'll breathe here for atime together.
I embrace the light and harmonywithin me, and I share it freely
with others.

Now moving your hands to yourheart if they're not already
there.
Just notice the warmth of Reikiflowing through you.
And as you breathe into yourheart space now, I invite you to
set an intention for the season.

It might be peace, patience,joy, love.
It might be making right arelationship that is wrong.
Whatever it is, just allow yourintention to resonate deeply

within you.
And we invite Reiki.
to empower your intention.
You can visualize the symbolsamplifying your intention.
And if you don't have symbolsyet, that's okay.
