Pamela (00:07):
Hi and welcome to the Reiki from the Farm podcast
brought to you by me, Pam AllenLeBlanc from Hidden Brook Farm.
I am a scientist, abusinesswoman, and a licensed
Reiki master teacher with theInternational Center for Reiki
Training.
Each week in this podcast you'llbe entertained as you learn
about a wide variety of relevantReiki topics, helping you become

(00:30):
a more knowledgeable andeffective Reiki practitioner.
We caution you though, thispodcast may also dramatically
improve your life, and we are sohappy that you're here.

(00:55):
Hi friends, on this podcast I amtalking with my friend and
colleague, fellow licensedteacher, Tracy Sullivan, about
something that we're reallyexcited to bring to the world,
Healthcare Reiki.
Welcome Tracy.

Tracey (01:11):
Thanks for having me.
I'm excited to be here.

Pamela (01:15):
Me too.
We've been working, Tracy and I,for a little over a year now,
just listening to the energyaround this.
And we thought it was time tolet you guys know about it.
and introduce it and let youknow how you can get involved if
this is a style of Reiki thatspeaks to you.

(01:35):
So we're so excited that you'rehere.
Before we go too far, I justwant to let you know about some
of the things we have coming uphere at the farm.
Online I have a Reiki level oneand two class the weekend of
January 25th and 26th, a Reikimasterclass, Friday and Monday
evenings and the weekend aroundJanuary 31st to February 3rd.

(02:01):
So it's a Friday evening, a fullday, Saturday, Sunday, and a
Monday evening.
I have a Kaurna Reiki masterclass all evenings, January 27th
to 30th, so that will workreally well for Asian and
Australian students as well aswell as students in North
America who are ready to doKaurna, but don't really have

(02:21):
the ability to take three daysoff of work.
We also have Animal Reiki levelone and two the weekend of
February 8th to 9th, and AnimalReiki Master follows that
through the week February 10thto 13th.
And again, that is an eveningclass if that helps make it
possible for you to attend.
I'm going to try a lot moreevening classes.

(02:44):
at the master level this year, just to make it possible for
people to attend without needingto take time off of work.
I also love the slightly shorterformat of teaching evening
classes.
Rather than have to sit for 9and 10 hours at a time, it's 4
and 5 hours, and a little easierto assimilate and integrate.

(03:07):
And then it also opens thoseclasses up for.
the Asian and Australianstudents as well.
I also have animal communicationfor Reiki practitioners.
I won't be offering this againuntil next November.
So if you want to take thiscourse, February 15th and 16th
is the introductory level oneand two workshop, February 17th,

(03:31):
and this is a long weekend formany of us in North America.
So it's a Monday.
There's a level threeprofessional practitioner
workshop and then February 18thto 20th online over three
evenings is my very first animalcommunication for Reiki
practitioners master teachercourse where I'm finally going

(03:55):
to be training people to spreadthis work in this class.
I heard you people talked abouthow this course is so much more
spiritual and powerful andprofessional than some of the
other classes that wereavailable and People would like

(04:16):
to start teaching it, so theenergy finally was ready and
we're ready as well.
And then, the thing that some ofyou are waiting on is Healthcare
Reiki.
Tracy and I have set a definitedate of April 30th and May 1st.
That will be just before theNortheast Reiki Retreat in

(04:38):
Silver Bay, New York.
And we, it may be, I'm not sure, but it may be the only time we
can teach this in persontogether.
Now, possibly just the weekendbefore that, we will be doing a
pilot class, and that will beonline.
If you would like to registerfor the class at the Northeast

(04:58):
Reiki Retreat, there's a link.
in the podcast description, youcan register.
The pilot class hasn't beenannounced yet, but if you'd like
to be considered for the pilotclass, just email myself or
Tracy.
You can email me at pam atReikifromthefarm.
com and let us know and you willreceive an invitation.

(05:21):
The pilot class will be asmaller group of hand chosen
students.
And then we're ready to offerthis course to the world.
The end of April and beginningof May.
It's exciting, Tracy.
What do you think?

Tracey (05:34):
It is.
It's very exciting.
I'm very much looking forward toit.

Pamela (05:39):
Me too.
Me too.
Tracy, what do you about comingup?
You teach as well a lot ofweekends and some evenings, and
what do you have come up next alittle bit?

Tracey (05:50):
I think at this point I would direct people to my
website, which is reikiintegration.com.
For my class dates, because Ican't really I didn't actually
jot them down before.
You can easily find them on mywebsite, but I wanted to say
that I love that idea ofteaching evenings, Pam, and that
would be so perfect for mebecause I work as a full time

(06:13):
job outside of my Reikipractice.
Hey, that's a great idea.

Pamela (06:19):
Thank you.
What happened is that in Canada,it's not as difficult for people
to get time off.
We have a bit more holidays thana lot of our cousins in the
States do.
Nice.
But I realized I've haddifferent people when I taught
through the week say, thank youfor not teaching weekends.
I'm never available on weekends.

(06:40):
And so I thought, and when I wasentering politics and thought,
okay, how am I going to keepteaching?
But the Reiki energy clearlyshowed me that evenings are
actually more accessible for alot of people.
A lot of people.
A lot of people.
And then teaching in Asia, I gotused to getting up very early in

(07:01):
the mornings, like teaching atfour in the morning.
4 or 5 a.
m.
my time, which would be 4 or 5p.
m.
in Asia, or 5 or 6 p.
m.
in Asia.
And I got used to teaching forfour, four and a half hours at a
stretch, where you don't have tobreak for such a long meal.
And you can just take a shortbreak.
And it, I found it was reallyeffective.

(07:24):
The stu It made sense.
It did.
And I really loved how the classflowed when we broke it up that
way.
So I'm really grateful to mystudent, Ken Lakshung, for
suggesting it.
And it was the only way to do itbecause I'm What a smart guy he
is, right?
He's a smart guy.
He is a smart guy.

(07:45):
I love mentoring him and Ting.
And they both showed me thatbecause I couldn't stay up all
night.
To teach, because my brain justwouldn't do it.
Yeah, we had to teach theshorter courses.
And as I got doing it, Irealized wow, this is a nice
way.
So I'm excited to start doingthat in North America now.

Tracey (08:08):
Yeah, that sounds great.
I might copy your idea.

Pamela (08:12):
I hope so.
That's awesome, Tracy.
I love it.
And we will put a link to yourwebsite as well in the podcast
notes.
So that anybody, if you didn'tcatch that, you'll be able to
get a hold of Tracy.
And you teach out ofConnecticut, Tracy.

Tracey (08:31):
Yes, I teach out of Connecticut.
I teach online so a lot of myclasses have been in person and
online so they're hybridclasses, so you could take a
class from anywhere.
I do typically teach on theweekends because of my job.
I have taught in New Jersey andNew York, so I have taught out
of Connecticut.

(08:51):
But 95 percent of my teaching inperson is here in Connecticut.

Pamela (08:56):
And I'll be doing some hybrid classes at the level one
and two level in April here atthe farm and online.
It will be a hybrid class, likeyou mentioned, but I find if I'm
going to be doing the eveningclasses for the master level,
I'll just keep that online.
And when it's weekend, they'rewelcome to come.

(09:18):
In person, but when it's on, butin the winter we have to do
online because it's just tooyeah, we don't know if we're
going to be able to get it.

Tracey (09:25):
Risky for us in the areas that we live in.

Pamela (09:34):
That's right.
So everyone, I'm just, before wego too far with this, I'm going
to invite everyone to go aheadand bring your hands into
Gassho, and if you'd like todraw or just imagine any of the
Reiki symbols that you'd like tobring in for guidance today,

(09:56):
we're going to talk about thisnew course, but we're also going
to lead you in an experiencewith it that will just help you
Feel the difference in theenergy and know whether or not
this is a course that is foryou.
But in the meantime, it neverhurts to ask Reiki to work with

(10:19):
us and guide us even as welisten, so that we can listen
with intention and hear theparts that are meant for us.
So just going ahead and taking adeep breath, bringing in all of
your Reiki symbols.
that you feel guided to.

(10:42):
I just like to let you know thatyou already are whole, you
already are healthy.
And that's one of the keymessages that Tracy and I have
been receiving as we've workedon this course.

(11:03):
And that there's an amazinggroup of enlightened beings
called the Divine Healers.
These are enlightened beingsfrom every tradition who had the
calling to be a healer, andmaybe you've had that calling.

(11:25):
And these enlightened beings arehere supporting us today.
Of course, they'll never workagainst anyone's free will, but
if you'd like to call upon theirassistance, They're available.
And so just feel yourselfsurrounded by this group of
enlightened healers.
These are healers throughout theages, from every tradition, who

(11:51):
have achieved enlightenment, andyet who also had the calling,
that deep, unequivocable callingthat can't be ignored to heal
and help others.
And they're here to share withus what they've learned.
information from everytradition, information from the

(12:18):
enlightened realms.
And so just asking yourself ifyou're open to receive, if
you're open to health, if you'reopen to healing, because another
key message in this is that it'simportant for us as healers, as

(12:47):
Reiki practitioners, we're notdoing the healing, but we are
facilitating it.
It's important for us to be in astate of health and healing.
So ask yourself, am I open tobeing healthy?

(13:07):
Are the conditions or illnessesor symptoms that I experience,
are they serving a purpose?
And if not, even as you listento this podcast, we invite you
to make a decision to let themgo.
And if they are, you may want todig further into that at another

(13:30):
date and decide to if they'restill helpful, if the purpose
that they're serving is stillone that you need in your life.
And so we form an intentiontoday to move into a place of

(13:52):
wholeness, of health, andhealing.
And we say thank you to YasuiSensei and the teachers who've
come before us that make thispossible for us to work with
this energy.
For

Tracey (14:11):
Sensei and the teachers who come before us and make this
possible.
Check it out.

Pamela (14:18):
To achieve this.
We've just had a little reminderabout how technology is very
eager to help us with this.
But we say thank you to theteachers who come before us and
to the descendants who willcarry on our work after we are

(14:40):
done.
We are so blessed to be of thislineage of light bringers and
wayshowers.
We're creating wellness on theearth today.
Thank you for being the lightthat you are and for raising the
vibration of the whole earth byshining your light and

(15:02):
continually working to raiseyour own vibration.
Namaste.

Tracey (15:12):
Thank you, Pam, that was beautiful.

Pamela (15:14):
Thank you, Tracy.
We've just been meeting onmedical or health care Reiki,
and we meet on health care Reikievery Friday morning, quite very
early for you, Tracy, earlyenough for me.
8am

Tracey (15:30):
for

Pamela (15:31):
me and 7am for you, and we've been meeting for over a
year now, so it's exciting.
that we get to share this energywith folks today.
Tracy, from your standpoint, andI'll answer this too after
you're done, but this HealthCare Reiki really started with
you.

(15:52):
What was the initial inspirationbehind creating this course?
Can you share that with us?

Tracey (16:00):
Yeah, sure, sure.
Hi everyone.
I'm happy to share a bit of myjourney.
And how my journey includes increating this Reiki class
specifically designed, to beused in healthcare.
It's really been a long time inthe making and inspired by many

(16:26):
years of personal experiencesthat I've had.
And some really powerful, consistent, and incredible
encouragement that I havereceived along the way on my
journey.
So I guess I would say theinitial spark for this the

(16:47):
initial inspiration for thisproject I like to call it came
from a desire to bringhealthcare Reiki a healthcare
Reiki course into the collegesetting.
So that was my originalintention for this.
I had this idea years ago and Ieven created an outline.
I investigated who I needed totalk to, and what steps I needed

(17:10):
to take to implement this into, and it was a community college
where I actually teach at now.
that I wanted to bring thiscourse into.
But to be honest, I did not moveforward with it after I reached,
I had my outline and I knew whatsteps I was supposed to take,
and then it stopped there.

(17:30):
And then a few years ago, KarenHarrison, who is another one of
the licensed Reiki masterteachers, and she's one of the
senior teachers, and she was mymentor when I first came into
the LRMT program.
A few years ago, Karen reachedout to me with a suggestion that

(17:51):
kind of rekindled my passion forthis.
And Karen actually encouraged meto develop a Reiki class focused
on the healthcare setting.
I sent Karen my originaloutline, and Karen, she was
like, go for it, develop it.

(18:12):
And she actually believed in theidea.
And she believed in me.
So as evidenced by the fact thatshe reached out to me a few
different times because itnever, nothing came to fruition
in my, Yeah one thing, like alittle side note for those of

(18:32):
you that know something aboutknow what human design is, I'm a
projector, so projectors arepeople that they thrive best and
they're in their authentic selfbest when they're recognized and
invited.
So I also have what's calledemotional authority.

(18:55):
So I need to wait out a wave,like I don't make decisions,
like right away.
I look back on this and I wasdefinitely recognized and
invited by Karen and definitelywaited out a long emotional wave
before I actually startedworking on this project but

(19:16):
before I continue on with thepeople that were involved I'll
just add a little bit about myown personal experience and
behind the idea.
And, like my original motivationfor creating the course came
from my own experience withReiki and health care from the
very beginning of my journey asa Reiki practitioner and just a

(19:39):
couple months.
After becoming a Reiki onepractitioner, I started
volunteering at a couple ofnursing homes, and I loved it.
It felt so fulfilling to bringthis practice to residents, even
though I was very new.
I just knew instinctively thatthis was something that I wanted
to do.
Was very, going to be verypowerful in my own life, but in

(20:02):
the health care setting.
So I continued working at thesenursing homes for several years,
and even then I felt thisprofound energy that at the time
I associated with volunteering.
like an energy of volunteeringbecause I felt this distinct
energy whenever I offered Reikiin a health care setting.

(20:22):
And at the time, all of myofferings in the health care
setting were on a volunteerbasis, although I eventually
started to be paid in the healthcare setting to teach Reiki
classes.
So at the same time that I wasdoing the volunteering at the

(20:43):
nursing home.
I began volunteering at Yale NewHaven Hospital, where I
eventually started teachingReiki to the staff and
volunteers.
I spent several years teachingthere until the pandemic shifted
everything, and during that timeI transitioned to online
teaching like so many peopledid.
And eventually, and the, thoseclasses also transition to

(21:08):
online for Reiki One buteventually I don't think she
minds if I mention her name, butFernanda, who is the coordinator
for volunteers at Yale New HavenHospital and who was the person
that brought me in to teachReiki classes.
Eventually, Fernanda took overteaching the classes, which, it

(21:29):
was a perfect transition for herbecause, like I said, she is the
coordinator for the volunteersand for the Reiki volunteer
program.
I guess my journey really didn'tstop there.
I really, I continuedvolunteering at other nursing
homes and also took Reiki tocommunity events.

(21:51):
I organized a race for nineyears that all the money went to
the Reiki program at Yale.
And I also brought Reiki to therace, so the there'd be Reiki
practitioners at the race, andthis was all focused on the
healthcare setting.
So it really, it was a learningexperience for a lot of people,
because the energy of the race, you could feel this beautiful

(22:14):
energy, and people that were notinvolved in Reiki at all would
comment on that.
And looking back now, I reallyfeel like that energy.
Is what we're experiencingtoday, but today I feel like
it's much more powerful.
So each each of theseexperiences strengthened my
belief in the value of Reiki inthe healthcare setting.

(22:37):
But, Pam, despite all of thisexperience.
It wasn't until you reached outto me, and we started, you
started setting up meetings thatthis course actually finally
began to take shape.
Your encouragement and yourpersistence were the catalyst
that I needed to actually, withyou, bring this vision to life,

(23:04):
so I, I'm just so grateful foryour support.
And your partnership, and forthe opportunity to combine my
passion for Reiki with myexperiences in healthcare.
It's been an amazing journey sofar, and I can't wait to see how
this course bridges, helps tobridge the gap between Reiki and

(23:26):
the healthcare field and beyond.
Because I think, Pam, we'vediscovered that this is like
beyond.
the healthcare field that is,going to affect people even
outside of healthcare.
So one last thing I want to sayon that is if you've ever had an

(23:46):
idea or project that it's beensitting in the back of your
mind, I encourage you to revisitit.
Sometimes you just need a littlenudge, right?
Or a few nudges.
But yeah That's basically howthe whole thing came to life for
me.

Pamela (24:04):
Thank you, Trace.
Yeah,

Tracey (24:06):
sure.

Pamela (24:07):
I'll mention what happened for me was that I was
aware that you were consideringdoing this.
I had attended somepresentations that you had given
on healthcare Reiki and, or juston offering Reiki in medical
settings.
I remember from that the firsttime you offered Reiki to

(24:30):
another, you were actuallyinvited, you were asked, it was
a co worker, you work in themedical setting as a nuclear

Tracey (24:38):
medicine technologist, yeah,

Pamela (24:40):
and you teach nuclear medicine technology at the
community college, and it wasone of your colleagues who
actually had a headache andasked for Reiki, and you were
very shy at first.
First, but you did offer it andthen all of your colleagues were
asking for Reiki.
And so you've been involved inReiki in a medical setting from

(25:02):
the start.
For me, it was a littledifferent.
Obviously I worked with peoplewho had medical conditions in my
Reiki practice, but I wasworking, I wasn't working in a
formal medical setting.
So it was a little bitsurprising when.
Energetically, at the Reikiretreat a year and a half ago, I

(25:25):
got a tap on the shoulder and Iwas speaking with Dr.
Anne Baldwin, who wrote twomarvelous books that I'd like to
recommend.
One is Reiki in ClinicalPractice, which just as a
scientist, for me, I love it.
It brings a lot of the sciencetogether around Reiki and it

(25:45):
bridges that.
that gap for us.
And Dr.
Baldwin is also the the head ofthe Center for Reiki Research.
I'm not sure what her actualtitle is, but we all rely on Dr.
Baldwin with regards to settingup experiments and team at the
Center for Reiki Research, peerreviews articles that are

(26:08):
written in medical journals andthis sort of thing.
And.
And we know that Reiki is, thatthere are formal Reiki programs
in over 800 hospitals in theUnited States.
So we definitely know that it'salready happening that it's
there.
But when I, after attending Dr.
Baldwin's presentation, which Ido every year, she and I were

(26:30):
having dinner togetherafterward, and it was the first
Reiki retreat after COVID, afterthings opened up from COVID.
And The first in person one, andI said, wow, I'm being very
strongly guided to get yourself, myself, and Tracy Sullivan
together to create HealthcareReiki, and I didn't know really

(26:51):
what my role was, and after wedid get together for that
initial meeting, Dr.
Baldwin, we realized That withthe time zone differences and
all three of us have incrediblybusy schedules.
She recommended that Tracy and Icontinue and just bring her in
on a consulting basis and Uutilize some of the information.

(27:17):
in her groundbreaking books.
Her second book is The VagusNerve and just about, about how
the vagal nerve being agoverning nerve in the body.
And before I even read that wasalready showing up to us in
healthcare reiki.
The vagus nerve was important.
And I was just really because Ihadn't worked in formal

(27:38):
healthcare settings.
I was what is my role here?
I couldn't.
But I had been involved withcreating a Reiki course before,
and I know how to listen verydeeply in the energy and even
guide other people to listen inthe energy.
And Tracy, I guess you and Ijust started meeting every week

(28:00):
and I still kept asking, like, why am I here?
I don't have the.
The resume to be here but it hasbeen a phenomenal experience.
It reminds me of the animal, theICRT animal Reiki training that
I was able to work on withColleen Bonelli, Sue Strong and

(28:23):
Robin Bonelli in the sense thatit's not something that we've
been dictating.
We've just, I've been able to.
to just use that experience toguide us through just listening
to the energy, listening to thedivine healers, asking, what are
they bringing to us?
What are they bringing forward?
And and, we've been able to justlisten from a very high

(28:47):
vibration, a very high plane.
And it's blown us away a littlebit, Tracy.
So I'm starting to accept thatyou have a role in this.

Tracey (28:57):
Yeah, I never had a doubt.
I always knew what

Pamela (29:01):
your

Tracey (29:01):
role was.

Pamela (29:01):
I didn't quite get it.
And then you did let me knowthat from a human design
perspective, I'm a generator.
I get, A lot of things done andit really is helpful for
projectors and generators towork together.
Things with more depth and Ijust, kinda get in and get

(29:22):
things to happen.

Tracey (29:25):
Yeah.
I think that just you and I are,we work well together and that
is shown in our charts as well.
There could be projectors andgenerators that don't work well
together.
But you and I.
Don't fall into that category.

Pamela (29:41):
I don't totally understand human design, but I
know that you've said that Ifinish some of your lines and
you finish some of mine andthings.
Yeah,

Tracey (29:50):
we complement each other in ways that make it easy for us
to work together, for sure.

Pamela (29:57):
And it is fun.
I look forward to our time everyFriday.
Me too.
Just phenomenal what, what we'vebeen listening to and what we've
been hearing.
So just moving on then, Tracy, what would you say, how would
you describe health care Reiki?
How is it different fromtraditional Reiki courses?

(30:18):
What makes it unique andspecial?
When I say that, I do want toput a caveat in that there is
absolutely nothing wrong withusing the Reiki that you already
have in health care settings.
If that's what you're doing,continue doing it.
And if that's what you're guidedto do, this is available for
just for people who, yeah, whoare guided to take things in

(30:41):
this direction,

Tracey (30:42):
absolutely.
Yeah.
This is, I think we both cameinto this or, Ended up in a
mindset that we're doing, we'reguided to do this, and the,
maybe the reason is not fullyeven there yet, but we're just
really grounded in just bringingit forward.
forward.

(31:03):
So yeah, it is did you want tosay anything else,

Pamela (31:06):
Pam?
No just what do you think whatmakes this unique?
Because it is very differentfrom

Tracey (31:12):
what we've learned so

Pamela (31:12):
far, what we've been teaching so far in Reiki,
regular Reiki classes.

Tracey (31:16):
Yeah, for sure.
For a couple a few differentthings, but a couple that I'll
focus on.
First, the course is designed toprovide everything you need to
start a Reiki program in ahospital.
This is like the practical partof it in a hospital or in
another healthcare setting, notjust hospitals because there's a
lot of care settings out there.

Pamela (31:40):
Hospice, outpatient clinics, absolutely.
Oncology units.
There's just so many places thatthis can be offered.
Yeah.

Tracey (31:51):
Yeah.
So the course is being designedto address that.
This includes comprehensivematerials, information.
And training tailored to meetthe requirements of these
different health careenvironments.
So for me for my part I'mdrawing from my experience as a

(32:12):
program and clinicalcoordinator.
Of this nuclear medicine programthat you spoke of earlier, Pam,
that I'm the director of.
So because of this experience, Iunderstand the clinical
standards expected of studentsand of both volunteers and staff
members in these settings, because they're all held to the

(32:35):
same standards, whether you arean employee, a volunteer, or a
student.
And you all, they all have thesame requirements to become.
To come into the healthcaresetting to work with patients
to, so to support this I'vetaken what forms that I've used
in the clinical setting at theschool and developed like

(32:56):
specialized forms and protocols, which you have been working more
with the protocols.
Yeah.
Specific to healthcare, reiki.
And then I think our, one of ourdreams is at the master level to
establish clinical sites wherestudents can gain hands on
experience.
So not only will we provideeverything that you would need

(33:22):
practically to be able to bringstudents into the healthcare
setting, Those students wouldalso and anybody that wants to
be like the the one that issetting up the program will have
the experience in the selfhealth care setting of doing
that.

(33:42):
Additionally, the didactic orthe learning portion of the
course delves a little bitdeeper into anatomy and
physiology than you would in atypical A Reiki one and two
class, so it's offering more ofa robust understanding that
complements the practice ofhealth care Reiki.

(34:03):
Another unique aspect of thiscourse is the inclusion of an
energy that, while not new, hasThey've recently become more
accessible, I think, in a uniqueway through this.
I think you, would you agreewith that statement Pam?

Pamela (34:22):
It has its own symbols.
And we've been spending timegetting to know them and what
they do.
And honestly, we've been alittle bit blown away.

Tracey (34:32):
Yeah.

Pamela (34:33):
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the only way I candescribe it.
We've been like, wow, I can'tbelieve this.
And we feel very fortunate to bethe ones that get to listen and,
yeah.

Tracey (34:45):
Absolutely.
Yes.
That's like how it's been comingin this unique way.
And, I see it as part of ourcollective I guess evolution and
opportunity to work with theenergy at a deeper, more
transformative way.
Just to kinda one more thingabout, the difference between

(35:07):
this course and a typical Reikione and two course we do place,
as I alluded to, we place astronger emphasis.
on anatomy and physiology.
Because the energy works thisenergy works with the core of
our being, our DNA.

(35:28):
I, the way that I describe itand see it, from my own
experience, is that it starts byfiltering out things, Fear, both
known and unknown.
And this is significant becausefear acts like a glue binding us
to these aspects of ourselves.
That don't really, truly reflectwho we are, and many of us have

(35:50):
such a hard time softening upthat glue and releasing those
fears.
Or even being

Pamela (35:55):
aware that they're there, Tracy, we're not

Tracey (35:58):
aware that they're there.
The awareness that they'rethere.
That's, yes, that's so true.
And I guess my background innuclear medicine and my
understanding of the energy ofenergy in general have deeply
influenced how I view andapproach this work.

(36:18):
And, in my, in my opinion, thatmight, be something that really,
truly makes it a unique offeringin the field of Reiki.
So those are the main thingsthat I would the main things
that I would use, ideas or partsof the course that I would speak

(36:40):
to that kind of distinguish itfrom a Reiki 1 and 2 class.

Pamela (36:46):
And one of the things I'll add is just that it's very
clear to us that a Reiki 1 and 2class is a prerequisite to this.
So this course is basicallybuilding on what you have
already learned.
And so we don't go back to thebasics like you're, You do need
the basics of the energy, how towork with energy, the Yosui the

(37:08):
Yosui Reiki, and then this classjust builds on it.
But one of the things I love,Tracy, and this is a scientist
in me, is just that we've beenguided, as we go through, to
both listen and address theintuitive side of things.
side of things, but also to puttogether things like the
protocols and the guidelines andguiding principles and things

(37:32):
like that, that I think aregoing to help people get into
these more formal settings intheir lives.
Easier.
And we are talking at length inthe class just about how to do
that and how to approach it.
And ideally, although just likethe ideally we would like to set

(37:55):
up clinics where people canactually go and train.
We know that's a little waysout.
We know that's just, we'reletting you know about it now
and I know we'll need to startteaching the course before those
are in place and, but that isour goal to eventually get those
in place in both Canada and theUnited States and anywhere else
that we have partners in themedical field.

(38:20):
But yeah ideally we would Iactually was explaining this to
somebody recently and I said, Iactually believe this is going
to revolutionize healthcarebecause there is becoming a
greater understanding thateverything is energy and, much
of our diagnostic equipmentmeasures energy.
To, in order to diagnose and andthere is becoming a greater

(38:43):
understanding that the vagusnerve is a governing nerve and
so I, I think this is going tohelp us bridge some gaps so that
this can really complementhealthcare.
It's not meant to bealternative.
It's not meant to take the placeof it.
It's meant to complement what'salready there.
there.
And I know that's a, animportant lesson that I've

(39:04):
learned in my practice thatsometimes people have wanted to
use Reiki in the place ofmedication or whatever else.
And the energy has said themedication is there for a
reason.
And we sometimes get hung up onthings, man made versus natural.
And one time the earth said Ithink it was to Colleen, but it

(39:26):
really resonated with me.
You know everything came fromme, right?
You call it man made, but itstill came from me.
from me.
It is natural.
Everything you're creating, isnatural.
And in fact, one of the symbolsthat I'm very excited about is a
symbol that actually does tapinto the plant world and helps

(39:50):
helps adjust the energy and thevibration of medication.
That you are already taking orthat a client is already taking
to make it more compatible withthem and also bring in any
additional frequencies theyneed.
So there's just, I don't know, there's so much to unpack here.
I know we can't unpack it all,but those are a couple of the

(40:13):
things.
And I love the fact that we bothreceived very strong messages
right from the beginning thatthe.
practitioner needs to be in aplace of health in order to
wield this energy.
And so we notice that many ofthe experiences, even in the
very first level one and twoclass, because there will be a

(40:35):
level one and two and a masterteacher class, even in that
first level one and two class, many of the experiences are
moving us into a place ofhealth.
And I don't know about you, butI'm noticing it in my own life
that Some of the, some littleconditions that I've been
managing since I was diagnosedwith fibromyalgia back in the

(40:57):
20s.
It's no, you're not going tomanage them anymore.
It's time to, completely healthem and

Tracey (41:04):
release

Pamela (41:04):
them.
So I just love that aspect ofit.
That taking the course willactually move the students into
a place of healing.

Tracey (41:15):
Yeah, I agree.
That is such a important part ofthis is the working on yourself
first and in the first class theReiki, Healthcare Reiki 1 really
is focused on that and for megoing through this, it's been a

(41:36):
lot about fear and releasing alot of different fears that I've
had in my life, and I thinkthat's why this whole experience
that we're going to be doing in,a few minutes came through is
because it's all about releasingfear.
And I had quite a few torelease.

(41:58):
Many of

Pamela (41:58):
us do.
I definitely benefited from thisexperience, Tracy.
Found fears that I wasn't evenaware were there.

Tracey (42:09):
Yes, that's the crazy thing is that there's so many
times people don't associatewhat they're experiencing You
know, with a fear that is livingin some part of their being.
And a lot of times it's becausethey're not aware of it.
And you're, you were just ontarget.
It's our awareness.

(42:29):
When we're aware of it, itstarts to loosen up that glue.
And this energy like reallyworks to help the, our being to
release these fears.
And it aligns us with our, whatwe call in Holy Fire Reiki, our
authentic self, our true being, our true trajectory in this

(42:52):
life.

Pamela (42:54):
We've realized, Tracy, there's been so many messages
around the fact that ourauthentic selves are not ill,
they're not, they're healthy,they're whole, they're perfect,
they're capable of anything.
And it's really shown us howmuch this glue.
Holds limiting beliefs to us andthings like that.

(43:15):
It's just been, it's been lifechanging working on this with
you.
Yes.
I love it.
I

Tracey (43:22):
feel the same, Pam.

Pamela (43:26):
One of the questions people ask is this only for
healthcare professionals?
Who can take this course andit's really healthcare
professionals will probably loveit, but nobody can really take
it, don't you think?

Tracey (43:44):
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
Reiki practitioners can benefitfrom it in a lot of different
ways, whether they work inhealthcare.
Aspire to integrate Reiki intohealthcare, or those people that
don't have any interest in beingin healthcare at all, because
there's many people who justbeing in a healthcare setting

(44:08):
just is not something that theywant to do.
And this is just as much forthose people.
Healthcare in this context thatwe're, I think we've come to the
conclusion that healthcare inthis context encompasses all
aspects of self care andsupporting others in ways that

(44:31):
align with, any, particularindividuals calling.
For healthcare workers, thispractice offers elements that
will seamlessly integrate intotheir workflow.
And I think additionally there, there's diverse approaches using
Reiki and also acknowledgingthat each person interacts

(44:55):
differently with the energy.
in their own unique way.
And I think we're finding thatout through using this energy
with our clients Pam?
Yeah.
It, unique, it's very unique.
So for those reasons, I wouldsay that it would benefit
anybody who feels guided to takeit.

Pamela (45:12):
And it might even be somebody who just wants to move
into health for themselves, ormaybe help family, or people
that they're close to, but youcannot ignore the self.
As much as you might want to.
The energy is no, we're going todeal with you first, get you

(45:32):
into a place of health, thenwe'll talk about other people.
I love that.

Tracey (45:37):
What do you think?
And I think, oh sorry, just onemore thing.
I think that it's not it's notlike we have to be like 100%,
release all our fear and beperfectly healthy.
It is the fact that we're movingtowards that.
Moving

Pamela (45:53):
into, yeah.
Means that

Tracey (45:56):
in any given moment, We are as 100 percent as we can be
in that moment, and that'sperfect for us in that moment.

Pamela (46:06):
Yeah, that's a really good point.
Yeah, because we're, yeah, it'sgoing to be a, it's a journey,
but I do find it's yeah, it'sbeen profound.
Tracy, having worked in a lot ofhealthcare settings, what are
some of the most commonchallenges healthcare
professionals face that thisenergy can help them with?

(46:27):
What do you think?

Tracey (46:29):
I think that what I would say to that is, thinking
back on the challenges that Ihave experienced myself as a
healthcare provider, and I wasan LPN for 10 years.
I was a medic in the militaryfor four years and then an LPN
for 10 years and then worked ina nuclear medicine, very busy

(46:50):
nuclear medicine department.
And when I think about thechallenges that I faced and that
my coworkers, I've seen mycoworkers face, I would say that
they're all rooted in stress andfear.
And these.
These things that are really nota part of our, who we

(47:12):
authentically are those are thethings that have led to other
things, like disagreements withco workers physical problems
that we might experience, likeit, stress in the workplace over
time will can lead to physicaldisabilities and I've seen this

(47:36):
in my own practice, not, I don'tthink that has happened to me,
but I've had some co workers whoreally experienced some
devastating physicaldisabilities, which started out
as from stress.
Stress in the workplace andprobably, if you're having that
much stress in your workplace,it's probably carrying over into

(47:59):
other parts of your life aswell.
So I think that it's not like aquestion that I can answer with
specific things that mighthappen to a person but that the
root of challenges that healthcare professionals face, which

(48:23):
are, which is the root ofchallenges that we face in
everyday life.
Some of us to more of an extentthan others, it's all rooted in
stress and fear.
And those are the things that Ithink that this energy is
really.
targeting when a person isexperiencing the energy.

(48:47):
So I know that's a generalanswer to the question.

Pamela (48:53):
It is basically it's not just something that can help
patients is what I'm hearing yousay it's also something that can
help healthcare workers as welland your co

Tracey (49:03):
Oh yeah, absolutely.
And I think by helping, healthcare workers, you are helping
patients as well.
Even if you don't actually givea patient Reiki, if you're not
like leading them in a shortmeditation or anything, you
being a a healthier, lessstressed.

(49:27):
Less fearful healthcare provideris giving them something that
they wouldn't have received ifyou hadn't taken those steps.
to caring for yourself.
That's the biggest lesson thatI've learned in the years that
I've worked in the healthcaresetting.

(49:48):
And I've, I can look back andsee how as I started my Reiki
practice, and as I became moreand more devoted to it and it
became a part of who I am andjust a natural part of my life.
It build out over to my patientsin, everyday things like the

(50:14):
words that I would choose to sayto the patients.
It would, it was like Reikiwould be speaking and it would
be things that would helpwhatever situation the patient
was going through.
And I don't think that'suncommon.
I think that it happens to manypeople in healthcare and
especially when they're whenthey have a spiritual practice.

(50:37):
And my instincts my feeling isthat this particular energy is
even more profound in In adirect link over from
practitioner to

Pamela (50:51):
a patient.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I, you make me think that youand I were guided during COVID
to get together and share thecompassion fatigue experience
for healthcare workers, becauseso many healthcare workers were
struggling with compassionfatigue at that time.
And I remember One of your coworkers who gave us permission

(51:13):
to tell her story, that she wasready to quit and then just
listening to that meditationthat you had recorded for her
allowed her to manage thestress, the compassion fatigue
that she was experiencing andher profession, so it can be
profound, I think you're right.

(51:34):
And Tracy, can we share a coupleof the key techniques that can
be.
immediately applied inhealthcare settings.
And I'm thinking of even withoutthis course, are there things in
healthcare settings that peoplethat just have Reiki can do?
And then we can follow up withthings that have been specific

(51:57):
to this course that can behelpful.

Tracey (52:00):
Yeah as we've already really talked about, taking care
of yourself first, and thatcould be anything like doing a
short in, in this course, we'regoing to be offering short
meditations that you can dobefore going on a shift, or
after coming off a shift, or onyour lunch break, or just a

(52:22):
quick break that you might haveand ones to offer to patients as
well.
But the the main thing, numberone, is to focus on yourself and
the other is to realize that youcan offer, bring this energy
into the healthcare settingwithout actually You know, doing

(52:44):
a Reiki session on one of yourpatients or sharing a
meditation, the Reiki, you canintend for that Reiki to flow
through with your words.
To flow through with youreyesight as you're looking at
the patient and anything that, with your touch in healthcare,
we're often touching patients, and as we grow in this energy is

(53:10):
flowing from us, whether wedon't really have to intend for
it to do that, it will justautomatically flow through us,
and it flows through us, in away that is needed at the time.
So it's a very, it's verydynamic.
So to not try to like forceanything, force any outcome or

(53:34):
not work.
It's not meant to be likeadditional work for you.
It's something, and ColleenBenelli actually said this to me
and it just comes to mind.
It's actually meant to free youup to share something that is
very easy to share and verypowerful.

(53:55):
So there's no responsibilityassociated with it.
It is something to free you upas a healthcare provider to help
yourself and others.
There's relaxation and groundingtechniques.
There's that I won't go throughthe specific techniques unless
you want me to.

(54:16):
But we do have them customizedfor the hospital setting and for
clinical clinics and outpatientsettings.
Long term care facilities.
There's also techniques thataddress specific patient needs,
so we address specific places, types of places, and then

(54:37):
specific patient needs likechronic pain and stress relief,
emotional and mental well being, and then we have specific things
to support healthcare providerslike mindful caregiving then
this would be an example wouldbe like providers can use this
meditation to process process toground themselves before

(54:57):
interacting with patients, ensuring that they bring a calm
centered presence into theircaregiving.
And this could actually help toprevent burnout and emotional
fatigue.
So the thing that we're usingwith all of these is the energy
of the symbols.
So that's like really thedriving force of this.

(55:21):
This is the shell of how we'reable to allow this, allow
healthcare providers to bringthis energy into these settings
in very easy ways.

Pamela (55:38):
Yeah.

Tracey (55:38):
Even if it's not healthcare Reiki.
You can do with Reiki ingeneral.

Pamela (55:42):
With Reiki in general.
And one of the things as I waslistening to you, Tracy, the
question of permission.
I think might be on some of thelisteners minds and one of the
things we noticed is that I knoweven as I began teaching, people
that were doctors and nurses andpsychologists and so on that I
trained would say, wait, Ididn't ask permission and I'm

(56:05):
noticing the Reiki flowing, assoon as I touch a client or it's
flowing through my words or it'sflowing from my eyes.
And I, I didn't have permission.
I didn't ask for that.
And what we realized is thatReiki was discerning the
permission because, of course,Reiki would never go against
anyone's free will.
So if you are wondering, as ahealth care provider, and I've,

(56:30):
teaching animal Reiki, I've hadveterinarians and veterinary
technicians tell me like, wait aminute, I didn't mean for it to
flow.
Oh, I didn't have permission andit was flowing.
And I, I.
I said, look, it's just likeReiki with the doctors and
nurses and dietitians and so on.
People are coming to you askingfor your help.

(56:51):
If Reiki discerns that they areopen to receiving Reiki as part
of it, then you will notice itspontaneously start to flow.
So I encourage People who are inhealth care with animals or with
human animals or with animalwith four leggeds and furred

(57:11):
animals to just understand thatyou can allow Reiki to discern
where it is welcome and where itis not and there are times and
Nurses and doctors and so onthat I've trained have said You
know, wow, like some of myclients it flows and some of
them it doesn't.
And it's okay, that's just, Ithink that's Reiki telling you

(57:32):
that person wouldn't beinterested or doesn't want to
receive Reiki and this persondoes.

Tracey (57:38):
Yeah, I think I would definitely agree with that as
far as the flow of energy goes.
I think permission in my,Practice in my belief system,
because everybody has their ownbeliefs about that.
I feel that the permission comesin when we're adding in our
words, when we're adding in ameditation or we're talking,

Pamela (58:02):
if we're doing something more formal, we would need
permission.

Tracey (58:07):
Yeah but I totally agree, Pam, that, yeah, the
energy just starts to flow, andthat's something that I learned
very profoundly in my experiencewith patients when I was one on
one on, with them, in a, wewould have to interview them and
in, in our discussions, one onone, I could feel the energy

(58:29):
flowing, and I did not, I wasthinking about Reiki.
No, you weren't asking it to.
It just started

Pamela (58:34):
spontaneously flowing, didn't it?

Tracey (58:37):
Yes.
And it's something just occurredto me that when I just said that
it was when I was like fullyfocused on the patient is when
it would start flowing.
When we are, that tells me thatI, you're very present when
you're very present in themoment.
And don't have you have twopatients that are waiting for

(58:59):
you or whatever, and you're notfocused on that, you're focused.
On the patient that you're with, you open up a whole you open up
the door for Reiki to flow andguide that situation when you
take the stress out of it andthe fear.
So it all cycles back to that, Ithink.

Pamela (59:20):
And one of the other things that the energy told us
is that many people, who aremaybe.
Maybe they're not healthcarepractitioners and so a
healthcare setting is new forthem.
The energy was clear that oneplace they might struggle is
being in that chaoticenvironment.
And needing to, typically whenwe have people in our Reiki

(59:42):
rooms, it's quiet, there'smeditation music.
So how do you have the energyflow when you're in the midst of
chaos?
And actually we were given anexperience that helps, like you
said, just allow them to staycalm.
Yes.
in the chaos and that's beenhelping me a lot with politics.

Tracey (01:00:03):
I'm sure.
I think it's maybe even morechaotic in politics.
It might be.
Yes,

Pamela (01:00:14):
it is possible.
Oh yeah, it's possible.
And ideally One of the thingswe'd love to see is we'd love to
see people get paid inhealthcare settings.
So we are going to talk about itfrom both standpoints, volunteer
programs, and then, with theidea of eventually moving to
paid programs.
A lot of the 800 hospitals thathave programs, a lot of those

(01:00:38):
are volunteer programs, andthat's great but I think if we
can get even more formal andhave more.
Integrate a little bit that morewith the medical systems,
hopefully, eventually that'swhere we'd like to go to.

Tracey (01:00:54):
I think it will naturally evolve to that.
I don't my feeling is that itis, it's not going to take, it
will be much more natural andmuch more natural process than
maybe we're thinking today.

Pamela (01:01:11):
Yeah.

Tracey (01:01:11):
I do think that's changing.

Pamela (01:01:14):
And

Tracey (01:01:14):
the volunteers, and I love volunteering and
volunteers, they are what, they're the reason why there's
people getting paid inhealthcare doing Reiki.
It wouldn't have happened if wedidn't have all the volunteers
that went in and offered thisbeautiful Reiki to patients in

(01:01:37):
so many different settings forso many years now, so that,
they're the reason why it's likea mutation almost, right?
From one thing to another.

Pamela (01:01:47):
Exactly.
And you know something withthat, I just want to give a
shout out to all the people thathave been teaching Reiki in
healthcare settings up to now, even though I realize what we're
listening to and receiving maybe unique it's building on the
shoulders of that.
And so you're right, withoutthose volunteers, without those

(01:02:08):
people that have already beenworking to establish

Tracey (01:02:11):
Reiki

Pamela (01:02:12):
in healthcare settings, what we're doing, the the world
wouldn't be ready for it, It's

Tracey (01:02:16):
yeah,

Pamela (01:02:17):
just a real hats off to all of those who've been
pioneering.
Yeah.
Area up till now.
You're one of those people.
Thank you it's actually a joy.
It is, right?
It is.
So listen, Tracy, what benefitshave you seen and do you have
any sort of fun stories toshare?

(01:02:38):
Things that you've noticed up tonow working with this energy and
in the healthcare setting?

Tracey (01:02:44):
Well with Reiki in the healthcare setting the
healthcare energy or Reiki ingeneral in the healthcare
setting?
Oh

Pamela (01:02:51):
yeah, cause I know with animal Reiki initially we were
just using the Reiki we alreadyhad with animals and so
initially, you were using theReiki you already had.

Tracey (01:03:01):
Yeah, yes, I have like tons of stories for of Reiki in
the healthcare setting so So my.
The one that I tell whenever I'masked about, a powerful story
about Reiki in the health caresetting with a patient is a
woman that I met when because Iwas doing her PET scans.

(01:03:24):
She had cancer and she wouldalways request for me to do her
scan.
We became friendly and, shereally relied on me for I don't
know, her comfort, while she wasthere getting her scan, because
it's very stressful.
They're, Come to see if theyhave any cancer cells have come
back or how their treatment'sdoing.

(01:03:45):
So she would come and she wascancer free for a while and she
came back.
She had esophageal cancer.
She came back on a follow upscan and they found breast
cancer.
So she had to have chemotherapyand she kept getting, sick.
She, and they had to stop hertreatment.
They would have to admit her, bring her to the ER and just,

(01:04:08):
she could not tolerate thechemotherapy that she needed for
the breast cancer.
And she had known about Reiki.
I told her when I learned, firstlearned Reiki, that I became a
Reiki practitioner and she hadactually had a bad experience
with Reiki in the past.
She said that one of her friendswas a Reiki practitioner and

(01:04:30):
when she first found out she hadcancer the first time, she
started giving her Reiki withoutasking her, so it really freaked
her out.
So when I told her about thefact that I learned Reiki, she
was like, Oh that's nice, wenever talked about it again.
So this is years later now, shehas breast cancer and all this
is happening to her.

(01:04:51):
And she contacted me and sheasked me if I could come to her
chemo treatment and give herReiki.
And this is somebody who washaving like allergic reactions
to the chemotherapy.
So I went there.
She was, I was working at Yaleat the time.
So on my lunch break, I would gothere and give her Reiki on the

(01:05:14):
day she was receiving chemo.
And on that first day, she had abeautiful experience.
As she was receivingchemotherapy, she had a
beautiful experience.
She did not react to thechemotherapy.
She never again reacted to thechemotherapy.
I would go there every time shehad a treatment and give her
Reiki, and on that first daythat I did this, she told me

(01:05:40):
that she had this vision of allthe people that she loved that
had passed away, and even peoplethat didn't get along in real
life.
They were all there together andthey were all depositing gold
into this big pot in front ofher and she said it was the most
beautiful experience and she isnow cancer free.

(01:06:07):
She's retired and she's she wasa nurse manager.
So she was very much into healthcare her whole career.
Yet she had an aversion toReiki.
But this experience for her, shelearned a lot about Reiki and a
lot about healing.

(01:06:28):
And it taught me so much aboutthe power of Reiki in the
healthcare setting.
She's doing great and I've hadother patients as well who have
had similar experiences, not asprofound as the one that she
had.
And then just one about staffmembers that I'll share that
I've shared before.

(01:06:49):
You might have even heard thisabout I think maybe you actually
mentioned it earlier.
This was one of my co workersthat was angry.
She was fighting with one of myother co workers and yes, you
did mention it because this isthe first time I offered Reiki
in the healthcare setting.
And I was very likeapprehensive.

(01:07:12):
And so it really changed thingsfor her, excuse me.
And it released her anger andshe, she thought I hypnotized
her.
But, I explained to her, this isthe Reiki.
This is what Reiki does.
And from that experience a lotof people in my department and
other departments in diagnosticradiology ended up being like

(01:07:36):
educated on the benefits of apractice like this in the
healthcare setting.
And now since.
We started, excuse me.

Pamela (01:07:46):
That's all

Tracey (01:07:47):
right.
Since we've started this, I'vebeen working with some of my
clients that have hadparticularly difficult
conditions that they're dealingwith.
And I'm in the process of doingthis now, and I'm keeping track
of it.
We both are doing this keepingtrack of there's.

(01:08:07):
how the sessions are going withthem.
Sorry, I ran out of water.
And so far it's going, it's beenreally powerful and we'll maybe
do another podcast sometimeswhere there'll be at some time
where there'll be more concreteinformation on those outcomes.

Pamela (01:08:33):
And you know something, I've been in formal health care
settings just within mypractice.
I've been very blessed to havehad people who've been diagnosed
with terminal cancer who arestill around today.
And who many years later and whoare doing all right and no
evidence of disease.
And that doesn't always happen.

(01:08:54):
You can't, I've also lostclients as well, but when that
has happened, the energy helpedthem transition.
easier and assisted with helptheir families and things like
that.
So I've been, and also I've justwatched really chronic illnesses
that couldn't be turned aroundwith, no matter what.

(01:09:18):
And I've watched that turnaround.
So I just, I know the power ofthis and it's exciting that we
get to apply it in thesesettings.
Yeah.
Isn't it?
Absolutely.
Tracy, we know that not only canthis help with physical healing,
it's also working emotionallyand mentally.

(01:09:42):
What do, let's just share ourultimate vision.
for this course and what webelieve is possible in
transforming health care andexpanding the role of Reiki and
healing and after that we'llmove into a meditation but we've
We both have a reallyinteresting vision for it.

(01:10:05):
What would you, how would youdescribe that?

Tracey (01:10:09):
Yeah I have to say that my vision is just very dynamic
and has been changing as weinto, interact more with the
energy.
So what started out as somethingthat was very concrete and, in,

(01:10:30):
very structured, I feel now is,has become unstructured in a
sense.
It's got a lot of structure toit within it.
But, It's within a growing it'sexpanding and growing and I
think my opinion is that it'sdoing so because we are not

(01:10:56):
putting it in a box.
We're allowing it to be what itis, and just going along for the
ride.
So I take, took my vision ofwhat I thought that I wanted it
to be, because, just thosewords, what I wanted it to be,
really don't have anything to dowith what it is and what it's

(01:11:21):
unfolding to be.
So that is how my ultimatevision for this is to have the
the humility and, the instinctsor whatever you want to call it
to continue to allow it to justflow and let it lead instead of

(01:11:44):
trying to lead it.
Does that make sense?

Pamela (01:11:47):
It does.
And that's what we've beendoing.
And in, and I would agree withyou in doing that, in allowing
the energy to lead us ratherthan the other way around.
I think we both had to look atthe fact that, oh, This is
beyond what we were thinking itwould be.
This is beyond what we expected.
And I'm not a total, that's nottotally surprising to me.

(01:12:09):
That's how animal Reiki was.
We went in with a certainexpectation and the energy was
so much more expansive than whatwe thought it was going to be.
And so once again, that hashappened.
But I have to, I do reallybelieve that It's like what you
said before, the foundation hasbeen laid and the world is ready
for this right now.

(01:12:29):
The world is ready for a muchmore expanded view of what is
possible.
Reiki in healthcare.
And that's why we're here.

Tracey (01:12:39):
Yes.

Pamela (01:12:40):
Yes.

Tracey (01:12:42):
And how lucky are we to be here?
We are

Pamela (01:12:45):
so lucky.
So lucky.
As we wrap up this podcastnight, I am going to be holding
a Reiki share in the future andor a podcast where if you have
questions about this please feelfree to send them to myself or
Tracy We are going to hold aReiki share where people can ask

(01:13:08):
us questions about the energythat will probably be in the
month of February or March.
And again, the pilot class andthe in person class, the pilot
class online and the in personclass will be happening in the
month of April.
We would love to have you joinus.

(01:13:28):
If that speaks to you, we willbe submitting this to the ICRT
to see if it is a course that isappropriate for the ICRT to
offer.
That has been on our minds thewhole time without expectation.
It may or may not fit in withthe parameters that the ICRT has

(01:13:51):
set.
supports and we're fine withthat.
We'll, we will teach itregardless and if it doesn't
have an ICRT class, then that'llbe even better because it will
mean that it can spread to morepeople and be more use on the
planet, do more.
So I think that's probably whereit's going.

(01:14:13):
Would you agree?

Tracey (01:14:15):
Oh, yeah, I'm all for everything that you just said.
And, I also believe that it'sgoing to move in the direction
that is going to be what's goingto be best.
And maybe we don't know whatthat is at this time.
Yeah, I, I.

Pamela (01:14:34):
It's expanding, doesn't it?
When we think we have a handleon it, it's it expands even
more.

Tracey (01:14:39):
Yeah I'm open to anything at this point.

Pamela (01:14:43):
I love it.
Yeah, definitely a lesson in notbeing attached to outcomes.
We're not.
Yeah, absolutely.
Guys, I would love to introduceyou to an experience that Tracy
dreamed many years ago, andwe're going to do an abbreviated
form of that experience today.

(01:15:05):
And it is an experience to helpyou release fears, both known
and unknown.
And you don't have to understandall of the scientific terms that
Tracy will use in order for themto work.
And obviously you can look themup afterward if you're curious
but I'm going to send it over toyou, Tracy.

(01:15:25):
This is a beautiful experiencethat you dreamed that I love and
the Panacea experience can, I'mgoing to invite you to take it
away.

Tracey (01:15:35):
Okay.
Thank you, Pam.
Yeah.
As Pam said, This experience,it's named Panacea, and a
panacea, if you don't know, issomething that takes away is a
cure all, and in general, it'sthought that there really isn't
a cure all, but I do, I feellike this is a cure all, and

(01:15:58):
It's really a healing experienceto release fear.
So the experience prepares inthe healthcare Reiki setting.
It prepares the student toreceive the placement style
attunements, but it can also beused with the general public.
We're doing it here with youtoday.
So a little bit about theexperience.

(01:16:20):
It's an experience to helprelease fear, as I said.
Fear is multifaceted and can bepresent in different forms,
depending on what part of ourbeing the fear originates from.
So successfully dealing withfear leads to awareness.
And this experience focuses onthree different forms of fear,

(01:16:42):
so fear experienced through mindconsciousness, for example, the
fear of not knowing something orof being misunderstood and is
experienced as mental anxiety.
Number two, fear experiencedthrough body consciousness.
For example, physical fear forsurvival or for, or, and for

(01:17:04):
well being, and fear that'sexperienced through spirit
consciousness.
And it's experienced asnervousness associated with the
unpredictability of nature orGod.
So each of these forms of fearhas a biological correlation.
And each will be mentioned inthis experience.

(01:17:26):
It's important to accept even ifyou don't understand, that
simply hearing the words can andwill affect your consciousness.
This experience will take you tothe core of your being, your
DNA, and the energy of thedivine healers of medicine which
will start to heal known andunknown fears in preparation for

(01:17:50):
your journey back to yourauthentic self.
The divine healers of medicineinclude all, as Pam mentioned
earlier, it includes all beingsthat came before us and all
those that will come after us.
united in one energy that is asynthesis of all the healing

(01:18:12):
frequencies contributed by each.
This is a dynamic frequencymeaning that it adjusts to your
needs.
This is known and unknown, resulting in healing that is
specific just for you.
This takes place at the level ofyour DNA and you'll hear words
spoken that represent the aminoacids that are the basis of what

(01:18:36):
makes up your DNA, which aremade of three nucleotides, which
are the basis of our DNA.
A codon is a group of threenucleotides.
As this occurs in you, it alsoaffects humanity's global DNA.
So again, it's not important tounderstand Nucleotides are DNA

(01:18:59):
or the amino acids that arementioned because it's the word,
the power of the word and themeaning of it that is the
important part.
So a panacea is a remedy for alldiseases or ills.
When something becomes apanacea, it can solve a wide
range of issues or challenges.

(01:19:20):
This new energy is a panacea.
The word is derived fromPanacus, the goddess of
universal remedy.
This panacea heals with grace.
Grace.
being your true nature andthrough grace you remember that
there is nothing in you butlove.

(01:19:42):
So let's do the experience now.
Go ahead and allow yourself tofind a comfortable position and
when you're ready go ahead andgently close your eyes and take
a few deep breaths breathing inthrough your nose and out

(01:20:11):
through your mouth.
Keep taking deep breaths.
In through your nose and as youbreathe out, intend to release
all that no longer serves you.

(01:20:37):
Allow yourself to let go.
Allow your attention to movefrom your mind to your body.

(01:21:00):
In this experience, I invite youto embody the true essence of
the aura that you came into thisworld with.
Releasing fear and conditioningand returning to your authentic
self.
And in doing this, you becomethe panacea for your own true

(01:21:25):
nature.
As you center yourself in thismoment, simply be present in
your body.
There's a calming lightsurrounding you.
A light that embodies healingand tranquility.

(01:21:46):
This light is expanding, touching every part of your
being, your quiet mind, yourbody, and your spirit.

(01:22:08):
And now, in the stillness ofthis moment, we release fear
associated with mindconsciousness, representing the
biological functions of theneocortex, the visual cortex,
and the pituitary glands.

(01:22:28):
Moving deeper into the essenceof your being, your DNA,
Glycine, Leucine, Valine,Threonine, Arginine, we now
transform what is physical to afrequency compatible with

(01:22:49):
transformation, whether it beconscious or unconscious.
We release mental anxiety causedby fear of failure, fear of
ignorance, fear of confusion, fear of darkness.

(01:23:15):
Fear of rejection, fear ofchallenge.
Repeat this affirmation toyourself.
In this light, in this moment, Ibecome a panacea.

(01:23:42):
And for the next minute or so,allow the power of this panacea
to permeate through every cell, bringing clarity, inspiration,
peace, and insight.

(01:24:54):
Now we release fear associatedwith body consciousness.
Representing the lymphaticsystem, the spleen, and the T
cells.
Fears that are ancient, deep, and associated with survival.

(01:25:15):
Moving deeper into the essenceof your being, your DNA.
Alanine, glutamine, asparaginicacid.
We transform what is physical toa frequency compatible with
transformation.

(01:25:35):
Whether it be conscious orunconscious.
I release fear of inadequacy, fear of the future, fear of the
past, fear of responsibility, fear of failure, fear of death,

(01:25:58):
or lack of purpose, and fear ofauthority.
Repeat this affirmation toyourself in this light and in
this moment I become a panaceafor my own true nature and now

(01:26:27):
for the next minute or so allowthe power of this panacea to
permanate through every cellbringing depth and Intuition,
Alertness, Values, Continuity,Purpose, and Perfection.

(01:27:38):
And now we release fearassociated with spirit
consciousness.
Representing the lungs, kidneys, pancreas, prostate gland.
and Nervous System.
This part of our being moves ustowards pleasure and away from

(01:28:00):
pain, toward self love, movingdeeper into the essence of your
being, your DNA, Proline,Glycine, Histidine, Glutamine.
We now transform what isphysical to a frequency

(01:28:23):
compatible with transformation, whether it be conscious or
unconscious.
I release fear of weakness, fearof intimacy, fear of God or
nature, fear of silence, fear ofemptiness, fear of emotional

(01:28:45):
inadequacy, fear of fate.
Repeat this affirmation toyourself.
In this light, in this moment, Ibecome a panacea of my own true

(01:29:06):
nature and for my own truenature.
And for the next minute or so,allow the power of this panacea
to permeate through every cell, bringing tenderness, peace,
rebirth, grace.

(01:29:31):
Freedom, Compassion, andTranscendence.

(01:29:57):
And as you come back, it's withthe knowing or the feeling that
the fears do not necessarilycompletely go away, but become
an aspect of your being thatactually enriches your life.
It is possible to embrace ourfear by being present.
Fear is exaggerated whenprojected into the past or the

(01:30:21):
future.
As you continue to breathedeeply.
Let go of any lingering concernsor worries, embrace the idea
that in this present moment,With the power of this panacea,
you are whole, you are completeand at peace.

(01:30:43):
Take a few more moments to baskin the healing light as the
grace of you is revealed to you.
love yourself.

Pamela (01:31:00):
Tracy, thank you so much for sharing that today.
And I just want to thank ourlisteners who are here for
staying with us, for givingthemselves an opportunity to
listen to this and to releasetheir fears.
And if healthcare Reiki issomething you'd like to learn

(01:31:21):
more about, we would love tohear from you.
Thank you so much for being

Tracey (01:31:27):
here.

Pamela (01:31:29):
You're welcome.
And thank you for being mypartner in this.
This has just been such an honor

Tracey (01:31:34):
for me as well.
Thank you so much.

Pamela (01:31:38):
All right.
Thank you everyone.
And keep shining your light, keep healing yourself and others
and raising the vibration of theplanet.
We need it

Tracey (01:31:49):
right now.
Namaste.
Namaste.
