It's so nice to have you here,Brett.
And I'm excited to talk aboutyour recent card deck as well as
your books.
We can talk about all of it,really.
Just to let everybody know whatwe have going on at the farm in
August is our whale classes onCampobello Island.
So we've got a licensed Reikilevel one and two and master

(01:37):
class.
That's a licensed class with theICRT.
And in between we'll be goingwhale watching and sometimes the
whales even join us in class.
I have a hard time keeping thestudents attention because
they're right out the, the, theliving room window.
They, they start surfacing andthey get a little bit excited
sometimes when we are teachingReiki there.

(02:00):
They join us.
And and so the Tuesday nightafter the Level 1 and 2, before
the Masterclass, we'll beactually going out on a sunset
cruise, whale watching.
Hopefully, Cork and Chevron, thetwo humpbacks that usually
really like hanging out with us,will show up.
They often show up for theclasses.
the people, and so that'll bereally fun.

And then the following week inAugust is the Animal Reiki 1 and
2 and Animal Master.
Same thing, we'll go whalewatching in between.

Also in August we have the, theInternational Reiki Retreat.
In Arizona.

I do have my Reiki master weekend happening at Omega
Institute.
I don't remember the exact dateoff the top of my head, but it's
in the fall.
at Omega Institute.
Always a lovely time both to beat Omega and it's just a lovely
time in terms of, you know, justthat energy of Reiki that whole
weekend on the beautiful groundsof Omega Institute, which I know
you've been there.

I've been there.

going again.
I'll be there.
I'm there in, I have been therein July going to the going to a
conference and yeah, love it.

Brett (03:36):
Yeah, well, I'll definitely love seeing you there

So Brett, you know, I wasn'tgoing to ask you this, but tell

(06:15):
us a little bit about all ofyour books.
You've, I've read some of them,not all of them.
And you've, you've had somereally wonderful things come
through.
through, through Reiki and thenmost recently this Reiki Divine
Healing Card Deck.
So how did these ideas come toyou?
And, and just talk us throughthat evolution, if you would.

(06:37):
Sure, I'll,

Brett (06:38):
I'll

Pamela (06:38):
kind of fast

Brett (06:39):
track through my healing journey and hit major points
along the way.
So you know, I first becameintroduced to Reiki in the early
1990s after having a verychallenging dental experience.
And got my first degree in 1993from Elka Pedro Pong, who is I
believe she still teaches in NewYork City and is a member of the
Reiki Alliance.
And really enjoyed the class,enjoyed the teachings.

(07:01):
Couple years later, fastforward, I was the co owner of a
kind of a new age y bookstore inYellow Springs, Ohio.
And as part of the work we did,we were promoting a Reiki master
in the area.
And in exchange for that, sheattuned me and my business
partner to second degree.
And And then in 1995, I wasseasonal staff at Omega
Institute and had the greatfortune of running into a woman

(07:23):
named Mary Dudek who I I've losttrack of her, so I don't know
how to get in touch with her,but I know she had been trained
not directly by William, but bysomebody in his lineage.
And so she initiated me tomaster level in 1995.
And then shortly after that, Imoved to San Francisco, began
doing.
Some Hawaiian shamanic studieswith a man named Jack Gray, who

(07:44):
was quite old and short and kindof reminded me of Yoda.
Had a very interesting sense ofhumor.
But he had also known, this isvery interesting, he had known
Hawaii Takata.
And he said that he had actuallybeen He, he, maybe this is not
true, I don't know, but I haveno reason to doubt it.
He said that he kind of helpedplant the seed in her head to
move from Hawaii to SanFrancisco just because he

(08:06):
thought her business would be dobetter in a metropolitan area
such as San Francisco.
So he had a, now in my studieswith him, I wasn't studying
Reiki with him.
I was studying some differentHuna shamanic practices, but
there was always this focus onthe higher self.
And I began to wonder what if I,if I intentionally attuned my
higher self to Reiki, which wasprobably attuned when I got my

(08:27):
first attunement anyway, but Ijust thought, let me just intend
that so that I know that it'sthere.
And then doing these differentpractices that I was learning
from him, I realized, oh,there's things that I can do
using this technique that Iwasn't ever taught.
And so a lot of those ideaseventually became my book.
Reiki magic guide to selfattunement, which that title was

(08:47):
kind of changed by thepublisher.
So that really wasn't the titlethat that I came up with because
self attunement is really notthe goal of the book.
The idea in the book is that I'msending attunements through time
and space to whoever saysparticular phrases that are in
the book.
And then the book talks youthrough how to do self
treatment.
It's not a certificationtraining, but it is a good way
for people to learn Reiki ifthey're just wanting to use it

(09:09):
on themselves and family and tokind of, you know, dive deeper
into the practice.
So that was my first book.
And then a couple of years laterwe came out with another book
called Reiki for SpiritualHealing, which was more about,
again, these ideas of workingwith the.
the Huna shamanic higher selfintegrated with Reiki and how I
kind of blended that into tothese different techniques.

(09:30):
And then then I took a kind of ahiatus because what happened for
me actually as I, as I wasfinalizing the final edits.
I've actually the Reiki MagicGuide to Selvatumi is I had this
very powerful mysticalexperience that involved Mikawa
Sui.
It happened when I was travelingin Asia.
I was in the the former royalcapital of Laos, a place called

(09:53):
Luang Prabang with thesebeautiful Buddhist temples.
And I got very sick, very ill.
I had a fever.
I had What felt like my spleenwas felt like it was inflamed
like like the size of a smallgrapefruit or something and all
the guidebooks said, you know,if you can avoid going to a
Laotian hospital, it's probablybest because it's more likely
that you will come out of thehospital with something much

(10:15):
worse than what you had goingin.
So I didn't want to.
Really seek medical attention.
I thought, well, this is, thisis the test to really put these
skills to use.
So I hid in my room for a coupleof days and just did nonstop
energy healing on myself.
And then at a certain pointwhile I was doing that, there
was a voice in my head thatsaid, would you like a new
spleen?

(10:35):
I'm like, yeah, sure.
And I'm not kidding youinstantaneously.
I felt fine.
Like the fever dropped.
The swelling was gone.
And am I saying that a physicalnew spleen appeared in my body?
No, but I am saying that therewas some kind of instant
transmutation that happened likein that moment.
I was very hungry at that point.
So I walked out, there was asmall Indian food establishment

(10:58):
not far from the guest housethat I was staying at and I
Remember I ordered a dish ofpalugobi, which is my favorite
Indian food, and I sat down, itwas, you know, very chill,
outside plastic tables andplastic chairs, and I'm sitting
down, and there's an emptyplastic chair next to me, and
suddenly I felt this amazingpresence just appear in that

(11:20):
chair, and I, I just knewinstantaneously that it was the
spirit of Mikao Sui, and it'snot that I was Looking for him,
searching for him, oranticipating this in any way,
shape, or form, it's just like,whoa, and then from him, I felt
this ball of white light go intothe area of my heart chakra, and
at that point, it, it was a verymind altering experience, in the

(11:42):
sense that I didn't reallyunderstand everything that
happened, other than I felt, I,I started to see things that
lasted kind of in and out for aperiod of about three weeks,
where I would have These verycomplex mathematical equations
appear in my mind's eye, and I'mnot a mathematician, but I can
tell a complex math equationwhen I'm looking at it.
And, but when I would see, whenI would see these equations,

(12:03):
then I would also feel like thatvast eternal presence that's in
all things, that's in like, youknow, a spoon or a glass of
water, that just kind ofinfinite divine presence.
And he was just, you know, thatwas going in and out for a
couple of weeks.
And I still had no idea what washis ball of light about other
than that.
I feel, you know, I'm now in analtered state.

(12:23):
And eventually I came to realizethat that wasn't just a ball of
light, that there was thisenergetic structure that was now
in front of my heart chakra thatI now refer to as the Reiki
crystal.
So if you could imagine Reikithat is crystallized, not, not
into a physical form, but in anenergetic form, and then put in
front of my heart chakra.
And I began to work with it.

(12:43):
And I realized that if I, if Isimply spoke to it, either with
my mind or my voice, that itwould then send Reiki.
And then I played with it morethan it could do things with
Reiki that I was not ever showntraditionally, like create
shapes of Reiki, right?
So I usually think of Reikihappening as a flow of energy,
and yet this crystal couldcreate shapes of Reiki, like

(13:05):
pyramids or spheres or also ButI call it a Reiki hologram, like
it could create the energeticreplica in the shape of your
liver or your heart or whatever,and then put that into the liver
or heart for, you know,amplifying the healing.
So it could do all these reallyinteresting things.
And so then it took me a whileto kind of sit with it and write

(13:25):
about it.
So that eventually came out thefirst book I wrote about it was,
had a horrible title, which Itotally take responsibility for.
It's called New Reiki Softwarefor Divine Living.
And it came out from Anyu Bookswhich is, they're published out
of England.
That came out in, I think, 2013.
And then then I had some otherbooks come out, which were on

(13:45):
other energy healing modalities.

Pamela (13:47):
I will just say you shared that crystal with us at
the Omega Reiki retreat thisyear, and it was profound.
I loved it.
Thank you.
I still use it.
I love it.
Thank you for, thank you forthat.

Brett (14:04):
I mean, I still, I still love working with it.
And the cool thing about thedeck that I'm going to dive more
into deeply shortly is that eachof the cards has their own Reiki
crystal and it's kind ofprogrammed in a different way.
So but I'm, I'm going to go backto the, the line of books and
then I'll start,

Pamela (14:19):
there is a few other books after that.

Brett (14:22):
Yeah.
So the book that came out afterNew Reiki Software for Divine
Living was called Energy Healingfor Everyone, which was about a
different modality.
And so.
Backtracking back to 2007 iswhen the Reiki Crystal came to
me.
There were also some otherthings that downloaded to me
that same year.
So one of them was this energythat I call Light of the Eternal

(14:43):
One.
That's has a connection to theancient of scenes.
And so it came out in this bookcalled Energy Healing for
Everyone.
And the weird thing is, is I,you know, I had no, no, when it
came to me, I had no awarenessthat there was any connection
between this energy and theancient scenes.
All I knew, they're like, wow,this is really great energy.
And I kept teaching it to thestaff at Omega and they, they

(15:04):
seemed to really love it.
It was very simple, very elegantsystem.
And I wrote this book and I keptsending it to different
publishers and they were like,wow, we really liked the book,
but we're not going to take it.
I thought, well, that's reallyodd.
I mean, I've had rejectionletters before, but it's like.
It's rare that you see peoplepraising the book and then
declining it.
And I kept thinking, something'soff here.
And so I, I, I decided to dosome healing work with a shaman

(15:26):
friend of mine, a woman namedNina Spiro.
And this happened at OmegInstitute.
And we were in this buildingcalled the Hermitage, which is a
residence that is there.

Pamela (15:36):
Okay.

Brett (15:38):
And while we were in the hermitage, we're on the balcony
of the hermitage, she's doingthis session on me that is
totally geared to find outwhat's, what's behind this book
not getting published.
And this amazing presence justappeared.
She's like, well, you know,you're sensing this presence.
Who is it?
You know, talk to it.
And I said, I said this, thisfeels strange to me.

(15:58):
I said, because I don't usually.
Most of the beings I work with,I don't associate with, you
know, biblical presence, butthis being keeps telling me that
it's Ezekiel and okay.
And she goes, what does Ezekielhave to say?
And what is, what Ezekiel toldme was that this energy called
light of the eternal one wouldactually add a connection to the

(16:19):
ancient scenes.
And until I honored that in someway, shape or form, the book was
never going to be published.

Pamela (16:26):
Wow.
Of course.
And of course, we know that likefor people Jesus his mother,
Mary, his grandmother, Anna,they were Essenes.

Brett (16:34):
Yeah.
So I just simply added a littleblurb in the front of the books,
this, this book, you know this,this oh, he also said that it
was connected to a text thatI've never heard about.
And it probably will never befound that there was a book
called the book of light.
And that, that, that, that whatI had channeled in was from that

(16:55):
though.
I'm, you know, archeologically,I've never seen any presence of
anything like that, but I'm justtrusting whatever he was saying.
So, so so yeah, so I put thatlittle blurb in the book and
then boom, like a few weekslater it got picked up by
publisher.
So

Pamela (17:08):
it occurs to me I need to pick them up.

Brett (17:13):
I just took that as confirmation, like, okay, then
there must be a connection withthe Essenes.
So so then a couple years later,I wrote a book called The
Wizard's Guide to EnergyHealing, which is again about
that third modality that came inin 2007 that I call Magical
Awakening that has a connectionto ancient Avalon and Merlin.
And it's very playful andmagical and a very fun system.

(17:36):
So that, that book explores thefirst three levels of that
system.
And again, it's not acertification course, but people
can learn how to at least do thebasics and have fun and do
healings on themselves and youknow, friends, family, et
cetera.
And so then in, in, in, was it2016?
I think I kept feeling there wassomething incomplete about the
first Reiki crystal book, one ofthe horrible title and like, let

(17:58):
me dive deeper into this.
And so I wrote kind of a, if youwant to call it a sequel, but it
came out with a differentpublisher called Psychic Reiki.
And to me that really kind ofcrystallized like, Oh, this,
this is its own system and it'scalled psychic Reiki.
And that's what it is.
Of course, before that, I justcalled it the Reiki crystal and
there was no real connection toit being its own thing.

(18:19):
And so yeah, so that was, thatwas the, what, 2017, I believe.
And then I did write anotherbook in, in 2021 that came out
that was called healing racismwithin.
It was about using energyhealing tools to address.
You know, racial disparity, bothwithin individuals and also
collectively in society.

(18:39):
And, you know, not going to gotoo much into my own story, but
my own family, you know, therewas a lot of hardcore racism.
And so in my own healingprocess, releasing that from my
consciousness was part of my Myown work and so I thought why
not share tools that had beenhelpful for me in that process
So that was called healingracism within and then the most
recent is this deck that justcame out.

(19:02):
In in Summer of last year andthe reiki divine healing card
deck.
So I know that was a very longwinded answer to your question

Pamela (19:09):
That was perfect.
I, I really, initially we weregoing to just talk about the
card deck and I thought, no,let's pull it all together here,
Brett, because you've, you'vewritten so much and, and, you
know, you, I, I feel like thepsychic Reiki, I feel like, is
that where things really tookoff?
Because that, that book I knowreally took off for you.

Brett (19:31):
Yeah.
Yeah.
That one, I think it kind ofestablished something about my
work that we, that the otherbooks didn't quite do.
And even though I love the otherbooks, that one really, yeah, it
kind of shifted things for me ina big way.

Pamela (19:43):
Yeah, I, I really enjoyed when I was with you at
Omega Institute.
I'm trying to think, I think itwas A few years ago, and we were
with William Rand and one of thegirls said like, I want to say
hi to Brett, but I've, I don'twant to come off as a fangirl
because I've read all of hisbooks and I'm not his biggest

(20:03):
fan and she was so nervous tosay hello to you.
And I said, Oh, he's reallynice.
Just go talk to him.
Yeah, taking the holy fire

Brett (20:12):
with William and you were assisting him.
Yeah,

Pamela (20:14):
that's right.
That was great.
And that was actually where wemet.
And that was so much fun.
But it was, it was so cute.
She said, Could you, could youintroduce me or something?
I don't want to creep him outbecause I'm such a fangirl.
And I just, I love that Brett,that was amazing.

(20:34):
So, you sort of shifted gears,like, I mean, so obviously Reiki
is just a huge part of yourlife.
Obviously, you're very connectedwith your guidance, with your
higher self.
You know, a lot of thisinformation is coming through
new systems, and I know how thatworks.
And and it's, it's a beautifulthing that, that creativity.

(20:57):
I, I, we talk about thedifferent clairs, and I believe
that creative people haveclairimagination, which simply
means that our imagination isopen to receive these higher
frequency energies.
And, and I don't know about you,but even when I wrote the Reiki
business book, and now as I'mwriting animal communication

(21:17):
I'll go back and read some of itand think, well, that's really
good.
I wonder who wrote that.
It does not look familiar atall.
So I don't know, did that happento you at all in this process?
Well, I

Brett (21:30):
love, I love what you were tapping into that.
What'd you call it?
Claire imagination or somethinglike that.
Yeah, I've often, I really valuethat sense of imagination,
especially when it comes toenergy healing.
And I often talk about what Icall divine imagination, which
to me is that, that place wherethe energy, you know, like,
let's say you're doing a healingand you just get this intuitive

(21:51):
sense of, Oh, I should do X, Y,or Z, even though it may not
make any rational sense at all.
And to me, that's, that's whenyou're in that place of playing
with divine imagination, likeit's, it's giving you these
little creative prompts and.
You know, if you listen to it,usually what you're going to
find on the other end of it is,is some spiritual gold.
Like there's something reallybeautiful about that.
So I love that we're on the samewavelength with that.

Pamela (22:13):
That's, you've just described my sessions.
A lot of people look a sessionwith me.
I'm just like, oh, and now theenergy is doing this and now
it's doing that.
And I learn things as, you know,just as I'm observing, you know,
what's.
What's happening in the energy?
It's fascinating.
No, I love that divineimagination.

(22:36):
I do.
I like that term too, Brett.
So speaking of divineimagination, how was that shift
like from going from books to acard deck?
What inspired you?
And and then how is this carddeck?
I know Card decks are a tool,and I can generally feel an

(22:59):
energy in a card deck, andalthough mine is in Campobello,
so I don't have it with me rightnow, I snapped yours up as soon
as I saw it in the bookstore atOmega Institute, because it has
such a beautiful energy.
So tell us about, sort of, youknow, what inspired that shift
in gears, and then, and thentell us about that, that deck

(23:20):
and how it's different fromother card decks.

Brett (23:23):
Sure.
So it feels like it was allreally divinely guided.
The, the, the, what happened wasI was doing a healing in Mount
Kisco, New York, at a smallhealing center there.
It was a group energy healingwhere people come, they just lie
down and I just, you know, kindof blast away at everyone who's
there simultaneously.
And at the end, a woman came upand, and she said, I'm, my

(23:46):
name's Allison DeNicola and Iwork for US Games.
And would you like to do a Rikideck with us?
And I was like, oh, yeah.
And it, it was interestingbecause I, I said, yes, I would
love to.
And I said, I actually have adeck already, but it's not
Reiki.
So there is a Magical Awakeningdeck that, that was co created
with me and one of the otherteachers.
It's not that well known becauseit's not sold on Amazon.

(24:07):
We had a few.

Pamela (24:07):
I didn't know about that one.

Brett (24:09):
Yeah, we, we've had a few printed and we sell them here
and there, but you know, it'scostly doing that, getting them
printed.
So they tend to be veryexpensive.
It's a beautiful deck, but it's.
So I tried to get U.
S.
Games to take that one, they'relike, what's Magic Awakening?
We don't know what that is.
Do a Reiki deck for us.

Pamela (24:24):
They wanted Reiki.
Yeah.

Brett (24:26):
That's it.
Glad they did, because itinspired me to not just hand
over something that had alreadybeen created, but to really look
and, again, re imagine how couldI not just do a Reiki card deck,
but how can I do things in adifferent and deeper way than
what I had done with the MagicalAwakening card deck, right?
So and then they also said, um,you know, we have some artists

(24:51):
that we've worked with, youknow, here's some websites you
can look at, but you're alsofree to pick your own artist.
And I, I looked at some of thewebsites they, they had shown me
and there was some interestingartwork, but I've also known a
number of amazing artists at aMAG Institute.
And one of whom the person whoeventually did the deck was a
fellow named Ben Schaikowitz whoused to work with me at Omega.

(25:13):
And he also ran the art hut atOmega, which is just there for
seasonal staff, and he wouldlead classes in art for the
seasonal staff.
And as I was looking at some ofhis work online, I realized
there were paintings he hadalready painted that, in my
mind, were totally fit.
As some of the cards, so I'mlike, okay, so if we do a 44

(25:34):
card deck, like five of thepaintings already exist.
So I'm like, plus I already knowhim, plus we can easily
communicate, and he's the guy.

Pamela (25:45):
Yeah, yeah.
Oh my gosh, that's amazing.

Brett (25:49):
Yeah, and there's, there's one other interesting
thing that I want to sharerelated to that and I'll pull up
the first card that I'm going toshow is let me see, can you, can
you see that?

Pamela (25:59):
Some people will be on audio so they won't see it.
We'll describe it for them.

Brett (26:03):
Okay.
Well, it's, it's a, it's apainting of a woman named Amina
Eagle who used to work at Omegaand at Omega she was so beloved
and in everyone just kind oflook at her as the embodiment of
kindness.

Pamela (26:18):
She looks it.

Brett (26:19):
Yeah.
And so in the deck, she is theembodiment of the precept for
kindness.
Right.
And.
So she, she, at that time whenwe first signed the contract she
was in the hospital and Ireached out to her and I said,
Amina, Ben and I just signedthis deal with U.
S.
Games and it's going to be aReiki deck.
And this is one of the cards.

(26:41):
See, this was already painted.
He had already created thispainting.
Ben had.
And I'm like, oh, that's thecard for kindness.
And so I asked her, would you beokay with us using your image
for that card?
I mean, the painting alreadyexisted.
He had already made thepainting.
And she said, yes, I would loveto, I'd be honored to.
And then two days later was whenshe left this realm to continue

(27:03):
her soul's journey.
And so to me, again, that justfelt like this, everything kind
of lining up and this.
In this way that it's supposedto be so yeah, I'm forgetting
where I'm going now.

Pamela (27:13):
It's okay.
Like, it's just, that's reallycool.
We're just, we're just talkingabout sort of that transition
from books to card decks and,and just how everything kind of
magically fell into place.
And that's how you know you'reon the path.
Right, Brad?
It's just, it's just kind offall and, and those happy
coincidences.

(27:34):
I remember one of my first.
Books on Awakening withCelestine Prophecy and

Brett (27:38):
it,

Pamela (27:39):
it encouraged us to look at things aren't coincidence,
like this is a higher knowingand, and, and a higher path.
So you had all these beautifulcoincidences come together.
Yeah, the deck.
And so tell us a little bit moreabout the creation of it.
And then, you know, how it'sdifferent from other decks.

Brett (28:01):
Yeah, so one thing that's key to the deck that that you
know, unless one has worked withpsychic Reiki before might sound
a little like, huh, what are youtalking about, is that each card
is empowered to its own Reikicrystal, which basically means
there's 44 cards.
And so each one is a healer and,and you could think, well, how

(28:23):
can an inanimate object be ahealer?
And this kind of goes back to mylong, you know, kind of wild and
crazy energy healing journey.
So for many years I was, again,when I was working with the Huna
Shaman, I was alwaysexperimenting on things.
Like, what can I do with Reikithat wasn't shown to me?
Where, where's that?
That edge that, that, that I canexplore that can just make

(28:46):
somehow bring more light intothe world.
I was living in San Francisco atthe time.
I used to love to go to thebeach.
And in this one particular beachcalled Land's End, there were
often these beautiful andamazing stones that were very
smooth.
Very smooth, but big, right?
You know, like eight inches longor so.
And so I started collectingthese stones, taking them home

(29:06):
to my apartment.
And I would attune the stones toReiki, and then when I would,
when, when the session, eventhough my girlfriend at the
time, she was attuned to Reiki,but she wasn't so much
interested in doing sessions onme.
So I, I would basically takethese stones, lay on the massage
table and lay these stones on mybody.
And the healings were amazing.

(29:26):
Right?
Right.
So I'm like, okay, you can't,you can't, Attune what we would
think of as inanimate objects,even though I believe everything
has divine spirit in it.
So like to me ever since theni've played with this idea of
attuning things Not just peopleor animals, but but things right
and finding ways to work with itin in ways that the energy could

(29:48):
flow And so when I combine thatwith the psychic reiki process
where there's this reiki crystalBut if you think about it, right
if reiki has intelligence to it,then a crystal that's made out
of the energy of Reiki wouldalso have an intelligence to it,
which means that each card, thecrystal that's in each card has
an intelligence so it canrespond to what you are asking

(30:09):
it to do, right?
So it can respond to requests,and, and, and it can also be,
and part of what I did is, isthe co creator of their deck, is
I programmed each crystal that'sin each card to have a very
specific function.
Right.
So some of them are, you know,sending Reiki just to your
chakras and other ones arebringing you into meditations

(30:30):
and other have what I call Reikiportals, which is really just
kind of working with that senseof divine imagination and the
Honchoization Ensemble, Reikiportals to, you know, different
divine beings, angels andavatars.
And so that's how the deck wascreated.
Just kind of weaving, weavingall these pieces together and
then.
Having this card of this, thisdeck of 44 cards where each one

(30:53):
has the capacity to send Reikito an individual or to a group
of people.

Pamela (30:58):
Wow.
I love that.
And that's probably why.
And I, one of the things Inoticed in your book is you've
got like different, you know,draw this many cards and like
this past, you know, you've gotsome different layouts.
Yeah.
Of how you can, and so I, I tendto do that with them is take
layout and, and pull your cardsand it's always just really

(31:23):
accurate for what I need at thattime.
moment in time, but I have toadmit to you, I wasn't really
aware of the crystal aspect ofthe card and, and what I was
receiving.
It just, it always feels reallygood.
Yeah.

Brett (31:39):
So each card, each card has its own crystal.
And, and again, just kind of didto dive deeper into the process
around it.
Same, same is true of, ofcertain books, like both Reiki
as well as new Reiki softwarefor divine living.
All those copies of those bookseach has its own Reiki crystal
in it, and that's, that's howthe empowerment is going

(32:00):
through, is through that crystalthat's in the book, so yeah, so
again, it's just a process I'vebeen playing with for a long
time.

Pamela (32:06):
That's really cool.
And there's so much that we cando from a distance.
So have you got, I believe thereare different color suits in the
deck?
Yes, yes, there are.

Brett (32:17):
So there's a

Pamela (32:20):
symbols and we're not supposed to say the symbols out
loud in case people listeningaren't, but can you tell us a
little about that?

Brett (32:26):
Yeah, there's four different suits.
There's the suit of what I callReiki's foundations.
And I'll just show a couple ofthe cards.
Of course, the first one isobviously Mikawa Sui.
And this card has a Reiki portalin it that then connects you to
his spirit or his energy, again,upon verbal request which can be

(32:47):
really good for when you'reneeding guidance before you
teach a class or other, youknow, it's just, it's just nice.
And I did it shortly before wecame together online here and
was just feeling his presencereally.
really strongly.
And again, I'm not going to gothrough every card in that suit.
But another one, again, when Ithink of Reiki's foundation, so
there are you know, also otheraspects of those foundations,

(33:08):
including some of the work fromfrom my book.
So this is, this is a a visualof the Reiki crystal.
Again, from one of the paintingsfrom Ben Scheitelwitz.

Pamela (33:19):
That's stunning.
It's, you know, for peoplelistening, I'm sorry you can't
see this, but definitely go onAmazon and check this out
because that's a stunningvisual.

Brett (33:29):
And remember when I said some of the paintings he had
created already existed?
This painting already existed.
And I was like, Oh, he's alreadycaptured the essence of the
Reiki crystal in his artwork.
So so those are, those are acouple images from the suit of
Reiki's found, you know, sothere's, you know, there's more
in there.
I'm not going to go into all ofthem.

(33:50):
And then there's again, there'sthe Reiki meditations.
I already showed you this one,which is on the precept for
kindness.
And here's another one, which isjust, You know, for inner peace
and again with these, with theseparticular cards, with the
meditations cards, and I'll,I'll do a demonstration of these
later, you actually just ask thecard to bring you into
particular meditation, whateverit is that's on the card.

(34:12):
So this one is for inner peace.
The next one is, is one of thecards that I've used the most in
this deck is for forgiveness.
I have a sure that a story thatI'll share on this, you know,
later.
So, so yeah, there's differentmeditations that are in there.
So there, there's self love,there's all the different
precepts, but there's also, youknow, strength, joy and some
other meditations that are inthe meditation suit.

(34:35):
And then there's also the suitof what I call avatars and
divine beings.
And and, and it includes angels.
So this is a, a painting ofarchangel Michael.
And again, in this, there's aReiki portal to Michael, so
Michael's energy will just,like, show up when you ask the
card to bring it through reallyquickly.

(34:55):
And there's also other, youknow, divine beings, like we
have, we have Buddha here sobring in that energy of Buddha.
There's a Quan Yin.
Onion card here, so there's alsoa Jesus card and the Jesus one
again that that's another one.

(35:16):
Ben had already created thiscard before the deck was ever
created.
He'd already created thispainting.
So when I say this,

Pamela (35:22):
Brad, I think he just knew that you were going to ask.

Brett (35:26):
So again, I'm not going to go through every every card
in that suit, but with those,you, you just simply, it's not
that they're bringing Reiki intothe session.
They're bringing the, the energyof that angel or avatar or saint
energy into the session.
So it's just kind of like anextra bonus.
You can think of it that way,you know?

Pamela (35:44):
No, as I'm listening to you, this is fascinating because
it's really something that I'veused for myself so far.
But it occurs to me that the,this deck would be very useful
to use with my clients as well.

Brett (35:58):
You can certainly use it with your clients and I, I have
often well, often now I can saythis since the deck has come out
before then I had never done it,but I've been doing a lot of
group healings using it.
So that, you know, there mightbe, you know 30 or 40 people
usually on zoom and we'll justyou know, I'll just be using,
using the cards, not sendingfrom me, but just asking the

(36:20):
cards to send and the humans gopretty deep.
Wow.
And then the last, the last suitis the suit of what I call Reiki
treatments.
And so that's where the energyis just focusing for a
particular purpose.
So this one is.
Chakra Reiki so that in this,this card is just going to send
Reiki directly to all of yourchakras just to kind of help
clear your chakras.

(36:42):
Again, I'm not going to gothrough every, every card in the
suit, but I will, I will showthis one.
This is my favorite card in thedeck and it's called Reiki dream
healing, and it's got a bit of astory behind it.
So many years ago when I wasfirst at Omega, there was a, an
amazing.
Woman who was a shaman whotaught there.
Her name was Caroline.
She's somebody I really I'veheard you speak of her.

(37:04):
Yeah.
And she would teach these reallywild dream classes that I've
never seen anybody teachanything like it.
And in the dream classes, it'snot that we were interpreting
the dreams.
We were actually encouraged,please don't interpret the
dream, but you would simply actout the dream, but you would act
it out in beforehand.
She would set up the space whereshe would, you know, clear the

(37:26):
space beforehand.
She would also Honor the fourdirections.
She would do all kinds ofshamanic work to bring in
different beings.
And as people were acting outtheir dreams, it was like, the
best way I can describe it is ifyou've ever been to like a
constellation therapy sessionwhere people are, I've been to a
horse constellation therapy, butwhen constellation therapy,

(37:49):
which was developed by BertHellinger people will, will have
what's called like a field ofknowing, like You'll be acting
out not dreams, but you'll beacting out like the dynamics in
somebody's family You know I'veactually done this before where
I was and this happened at omega2 where I was Playing the role
of somebody's brother, right?
And as i'm playing that role ofsomebody's brother, I suddenly

(38:10):
became obsessed with my hair Andso in this process, you would
just give voice to whatever'sgoing on with the United States.
I feel totally obsessed with myhair right now.
It's just like, yeah, that's mybrother.
He's totally accepted.
And all these kind of, all thesebits of information that you as
the individual, no way you wouldknow this, but you just start
knowing all this stuff.
And voicing it and then it getsprocessed in this very unique
way.

(38:30):
So in Caroline's dream clash,not that she was doing family
constellation therapy, it waslike even deeper because not
only were people gettinginsights about, you know, family
members and stuff, but you wouldhave angels and ancestors and
all kinds of beings just showingup.
And really amazing healingshappening.
So she's taught me to teach thatand I, I teach it very rarely

(38:52):
because even though I love it,it's, it's exhausting to teach
holding the energy for all that.
But what I found when Imeditated with, with the Reiki
crystal was I asked it, is therea way that you can kind of
approximate this or kind ofreplicate this as an, as an
energy healing?
And I got a yes.
And so this card is the Reikidream healing card.

(39:14):
And the way you use it, unlikeall the other cards, is you, you
just literally hold the card andyou tell it your dream that you
want it to work on.
And as you tell it the dream, itthen starts to send, you know, a
variety of energies to you thatrelate to the healing that's
related to that dream.
So it's really wild.

Pamela (39:32):
Now,

Brett (39:32):
again, my favorite.

Pamela (39:33):
When you talk about a dream, I just want to clarify,
are you talking about a dreamthat I have that I would like to
come through or a dream

Brett (39:41):
like they were sleeping, you know?

Pamela (39:44):
Like as you were sleeping or, or,

Brett (39:46):
yeah, like when you go to sleep and you, you know, you
dreamed of, oh, I dreamed ofthis, you know, like I you know,
I've, I've done some really coolthings with, with, with some
recent dreams ever since I'vehad this card and I'll just
hold, hold the card and I'lltalk to it and I will just tell
it the dream.
Sometimes it can even be afragment of a dream, you know,
like a little three secondsnippet.

Pamela (40:05):
Yeah.
Cause I don't remember a lot ofmy dreams.
Yeah.

Brett (40:07):
You just tell it that snippet of the dream.
And, and you just sit and youjust let the card send you
whatever energy, and I alwaystry to get out of my mind
because often the healing itwill send you may, may not seem
that directly relevant for thedream.
That that's also was verysimilar to Caroline's classes
sometimes she would, you know,you would do something in the

(40:28):
dream world things can morphfrom one thing into another very
easily so you would think thedream is about this but it's
actually about somethingdifferent.
And So anyway, like I said,that's my favorite card in the
deck and that's, that's how youuse that particular one.
But the, the green suit is aboutdifferent treatments that have
different particular focuses andthere's focuses on, you know,
karmic body healing, emotionalbody healing, there's dream

(40:49):
healing and some othertechniques in there as well.

Pamela (40:52):
I gotta tell you that I feel like I'm getting a personal
course right now.
I really like it.
I now, I'm like, I can't, I'mgoing to Campobello this
evening, this afternoon afterwe're done talking.
And I'm really excited to get tomy card deck because now I feel
like I know more how to use it.

(41:13):
This is fantastic.
So tell us if someone is to getyour deck, how would they get
started?
And how, how would you suggestthat they use the deck for their
own personal healing and growthand transformation?

Brett (41:31):
Yeah, I mean, well, so there is that there is a book
that comes with the deck allthat this book comes with the
deck, and it does have my owninterpretations of each card in
terms of you know, what, what isenergetically in each card so
that you have an idea of what,what each card can do.
And there's also towards theback of the book, there are
different spreads that you canuse.

(41:52):
Like there's a daily healingspread.
There's also a spread that Ireally love which is for healing
ancestral trauma, where you haveone card that represents you,
another one represents yourfather, and then your mother,
and then kind of going downthrough.
Each of their lineages, and Ifound that that particular
healing does really deep, deephealings.
So there are different, youknow, layouts that are in, in

(42:12):
the deck.
And there are also, what Iencourage in the book, also is
for people to create their ownlayouts.
So I have to, I have to admit,what I've really loved the most
is just, just playing with thecards in the sense of like,
pick, what I, what I do a lotnow is I'll pick three randomly.
So that's what I do quite often.
I'll pick, I pick threerandomly.
And what I find is because Youknow, with in person Reiki,

(42:37):
right?
The more people you have workingon one person, the energy really
amplifies, right?
I found the same is true withthe cards.
So what I will ask is I will getusually three or more cards and
I will be very specific.
I asked them to activate and tosynchronize their energy.
And to then send that healingout.
And so you'll have thiscombination of energies from the
different cards and it just kindof really takes you to an

(43:00):
amazing place.
And this might be a good timefor me to loop back into,
remember earlier I said I wasgoing to tell a little story
about the forgiveness card,right?

Pamela (43:07):
Yes, I've been wondering about that.

Brett (43:08):
So, so I was in an accident a few months ago, a car
accident.
And It was actually my fault.
I mean, I hate to say that, butit was, it was my fault.
It was a moment when I waspanicking when I was driving and
did something stupid.
And then the next thing I knowis I've, I've hit a car and, and
I feel awful.
And, and there was a lot ofother extraneous, you know,

(43:30):
issues behind what led up tothat, but I'm not going to go
into, but.
For me, it was all about, I wantforgiveness.
I want forgiveness for myself,but I also want forgiveness for
everything that led up to thatmoment and forgiveness, like the
whole thing.
Let's just forgive this.
And so I, I used this card and Idon't remember what the other
two were, but I put this cardand two others on my altar.

(43:53):
And for a couple days, I would,when I would get up in the
morning, I would just say,cards, please activate and
synchronize and just sendforgiveness Reiki to this whole
situation.
And everything after that, Imean, not that I was happy to be
in a car accident, buteverything happened like so
smoothly from that pointforward.
I mean in terms of you know,dealing with insurance,

(44:15):
everything moved smoothly interms of not feeling like I was
holding on to stuff, eithershame or, you know, beating
myself up about the accident or,you know, no conflicts with the
person who's, like, there wasnothing even, even down to like,
you know, I kept thinking, Oh,wow, I'm, I'm going to get some
big fat fine or whatever, youknow, And I didn't even get it.

(44:38):
I didn't even, I mean, yes, itwent through the legal process,
but I didn't even get a finelike that.
They, you know, I, yes, I pledguilty, but there was no fun.
Like, there was nothing thathappened.
It was like, everything wasforgiven.
Right.
So like, I was like, wow, whatdid I do?
I took this card and two othercards and I put on my altar and
every day I would say, pleasebring forgiveness to this

(45:00):
situation, bring that energyinto forgiveness and all aspects
of it.
And it's, it felt so just.
Like a pure letting go of anysense of holding on to any
anything a blame of myself orothers that again Surrounding
situation.
And so yeah, so again, that'sjust one card, but that that's

(45:21):
the story.
I want to share

Pamela (45:22):
with you Yeah Okay.
Oh, wow.
I love it.
I love it.
And so actually, that wasactually going to be my next
question, a personal story orexample of how people have used
the cards.
And do you have any moreexamples?

Brett (45:42):
I, you know, there's no specific ones that pop in my
mind, but I will say a lot oftimes when I've done these group
healings, I have had peoplereally, really rave about them.
Now, can I, can I say what theirspecific thing that they
mentioned was?
I don't remember.
Okay.
I do know what I did a demo at,at Omega Institute last
September, and it, therehappened to be a group of

(46:04):
veterans there that were theredoing deep trauma work and they
all came to my event, rememberthem eventually making they on
their own choice, made sure thatthe CEO of Omega knew how
impressed they were with thathealing that they got.
It was just from the cards.
Right.

(46:24):
So so again, they didn't tell itto me, but in a meeting that I
had a few weeks later with theCEO, she goes, you know, those
vets were really impressed withwhatever you did that night with
your Reiki deck.
I was like, whoa, a lot whenit's, when it's, when it's
coming from folks who have beenthrough war, who've been
through, you know, kind of theworst things that life can send

(46:44):
at you and when they're ravingabout it.
And there's also some nicecomments on Amazon.
Again, I'm not getting thespecifics coming into my brain
right now.
But I've definitely had somevery positive responses, for
sure.

Pamela (46:55):
Yeah, I love it, Brett.
Like, you can just feel theenergy in it, and it just feels
so, so pure, and and kind, andlovely, and I love it.
And that's what we're going todo.
Today to wrap up, you'reactually going to take us
through one of those groupexperiences, which is kind of

exciting.

Brett (47:16):
Yeah, yeah, I'm excited.

Just, there's just a couple more questions.
Maybe just, can you explain ifsomebody has something targeted
that they want to heal, whatwould you, what would you
recommend to them?
How would they use the deckthen?
We'll see, yeah, those heroesthat we, yeah,

Brett (47:42):
that's a really good question.
And what I would say is youwould first want to just
Probably read through the bookso that you have an
understanding of what each carddoes or what it's capable of
doing.
And then when it's somethinglike that, that's where I would
usually, you know, follow myguidance to probably go through
and pick specific cards thatmight, oh, this makes sense for
this.
Okay.
But that, that doesn't mean thatyou can't also, you know, leave

(48:05):
things up to the divine and justpick some cards by chance, which
I'm also.
Always in favor of, but let'ssay I am remembering now, I am
remembering now one of the othercards that came with
forgiveness, right?
Which totally makes sense.
I'm remembering this now.
The Jesus card was one of thecards.
Like, okay, that makes sense.
So let's say it's forgiveness.
Well, you know, maybe you wantto work with Jesus and the

(48:26):
forgiveness card, or maybe youwant to work with, you know
Buddha or, or something else, ormaybe you're feeling that that
energy of forgiveness is beingreally held deeply in chakras.
So then you bring in the chakracard as well.
So I really encourage people toagain, get to know the cards and
then.
You want to from there, then,you know, use your wisdom of

(48:47):
like, oh, well, this will helpwith this and then combine it.
And then what I always say is Iask the cards to activate and
synchronize so that they'reworking together.
And then to send the healing to,you know, whoever or whatever,
whatever it might be.

Pamela (49:02):
I love that.
And I do love, you do have a lotof information in the guidebook.
It's, it's really well written.
So how, what would you tellpeople about using the
guidebook?
How would you recommend that?
Like, so far, I mostly justchoose random things.
And then look them up is whatI've been doing.
So

Brett (49:21):
I would say, you know,

Pamela (49:22):
make,

Brett (49:23):
make a point to just to try to read the guidebook.
You know, just read it just soyou have a sense of, oh, well
you know, I haven't picked thiscard yet, but I see that it does
X, Y, or Z, or, oh, I didn'tthink of this particular spread
that's offered in the back.
Let me try that out.
Mm-hmm But don't feel that onceyou've read the guidebook, don't
feel like it's, it's a rigidcode that you have to stay in.

(49:43):
Right.
So don't feel like, oh, Brettdidn't write about that in the
guidebook, therefore I can't doit.
You know, I really encouragepeople to play with the cards.
Come up with your own spreads,come up with your own
combinations, and just see, seewhere things will tell you, will
take you.
And, you know, there's also somepeople, even though it's not
created as a divination deck, oras a tarot deck, like, even

(50:06):
though I have a lot ofexperience with tarot, that's
not the intention behind thedeck.
But I have heard some people sayThat they have kind of used it
in that way to have the deckhelp bring them guidance about,
you know, what their next stepsare in terms of the near future,
things like that.
And there's one woman who keepscontacting me.
It's a deep connection to St.

(50:28):
Germain.
St.
Germain's in the card, the deckas well.
And she says almost every timeshe pulls, you know, she'll
randomly shuffle and whatever,and almost every time.
St.
Germain pops up and she's had,she's had a connection to St.
Germain long before she got thedeck.
So again, I just find all thesekind of synchronicities to be
very interesting.

Pamela (50:47):
They, they are.
He looks kind of like you, St.
Germain.
So yeah, that's really cool.
And then, so just last questionbefore we go into an actual
healing with it.
Is, you know, if somebody'susing this in their in their
sessions, or in their journeys,their own personal journeys, do

(51:10):
you have any more advice forthem around that,

Brett (51:13):
I just say, you know, really, I'm always a fan of just
listening to your own guidance.
And so if you're, if you'reusing in a session, and you have
a.
sense of like, Oh, I need to usethis card or maybe even I need
to set this card under theperson's head as they're lying
on the massage table orwhatever, whatever guidance you
might get.
I'm always a fan of followingthat, that inner inner voice and

(51:37):
letting it take you where itwill.
And, and other than that, otherthan that, I would just say,
just remember that, you know,look at them as having 44
different healers that are withyou.
And so that's, that can bring alot of extra.
Energy into a session, whetherit's for yourself or for
somebody else.

Pamela (51:54):
I love the idea of putting them on your altar and
asking them to work with you forthe day, or you could also place
them within your Reiki grid, I'massuming.
And, you know, ask them tocontinue sending and continue
working for you.
So I think I am going to I amgoing to incorporate that
myself.
I, and I like you, you alwayssay synchronize and activate and

synchronize.

their energies and to synchronize their energies so
that, you know, whatever cardsyou're using are kind of kicking
their energy up and bringingthem together to, to meld

If you could imagine a beautifulbubble or egg filled with Reiki,

So I'm asking these three cardsnow to activate and synchronize

Now we'll just kind of let thatunfold for a couple minutes
while I pull up the next fewrounds of cards.

And these next cards we haveReiki for Cosmic Awakening, we
have the Chakra Reiki, and thisis what I call Reiki lasers,
where the, the, they're likeintense beams of Reiki light
between any two points in timeand space.

dream healing card.
So for this one, I know some ofyou are just listening and not
able to see it, but just pretendyou can see it.
Because again, The Reiki crystalin each card has Reiki.
It's created from Reiki.
So it has that deep divineintelligence of Reiki.

So it's going to know whatyou're thinking, what you're
asking of it, even if you can'tsee it.
And if you can see it, eveneasier.
So my invitation now is just totune into the card, either
visually, if you can see it, orinternally, if you can't see it,
and just tell it either part ofa dream or a full dream.

You don't need to think aboutinterpreting the dream, just
tell the dream as though you'retelling a story of whatever
happened in the dream.
And as you tell that to thecard, the card will send you a
very unique healing to you basedon what it feels you need based
on that dream.

I'll go ahead and just set thecard down and for some of you
that healing may still beunfolding so I'll just hold some
space for that and again thereare more cards than I showed
