Very early mornings in NorthAmerica and evenings in Asia.
(02:08):
And that class is going to beoffered in English, Mandarin,
Korean, and possibly Cantonese.
The Cantonese is not for certainbecause a lot of people in Hong
Kong are very fluent in English, and so we may not need the
Cantonese, but that's going tobe offered in those different
(02:29):
languages to make it availableto our Reiki friends in Asia.
A lot of you know that I'mworking on the Animal
Communication book,Understanding Beyond Words,
Integrating Reiki and AnimalCommunication.
It is still a work in progress, but I am hoping that it will be
(02:52):
available to pre order very soonon PamAllenLeBlanc.
love and also that it will beavailable at some point this
fall.
That's it.
Not a for sure, but that's whatI'm aiming at.

the Tuesday evening after class,as long as weather permits, and
we'll make alternatearrangements if it doesn't.
Then July 19th to August 29th toAugust 2nd, pardon me, we have
(04:24):

I also have a Kaurna Reiki classcoming August 12th to 16th that
will be offered in earlymornings in North America, late
mornings in Europe, and eveningsin Australia and Asia.
(05:09):
And then finally, in October, wehave classes here in person and
online here at the farm.
So we'd love to have you joinus.
I also, before we go too far, want to let you know that this
episode is very special to me,close to my heart.
(05:31):
I've always been a dreamer.
I can remember that my mom usedto say she's always daydreaming.
She's got her head in theclouds.
And I think that's common forcreative types.
And sometimes even though we aredreamers and the dreams always
are what gives you hope and whatgives you your vision.
(05:54):
Sometimes we get weighed down bythe practicalities of living
life on earth.
So tonight we're going to divedeep into the world of dreams.
Not the kind you have at night, those are important too, but
Your aspirations, your hopes anddesires and the things that make
your soul sing.
And we're even going to belooking back and trying to
(06:14):
remember what did we dream aboutas children?
What did we dream about when wefirst became an adult at 18?
What are we dreaming about now?
And I want to let you know thatwith Reiki, we can reconnect
with those dreams.
And as I was questioning what wewould do tonight, I was told
(06:37):
it's about dreaming.
It's about reconnecting peoplewith their dreams so that they
can see their vision.
Turn it over to Reiki and allowReiki to make the dreams happen.
It's more about allowing.
So I'm going to invite you toget cozy, grab your journal, and
(06:57):
we'll get going on this journeytogether.
First, just a little bit aboutdreams.
Dreams are the way our soulscommunicate with us.
And I know that we don't alwaysthink about them that way.
I know there's probably othersof you who were told not to
(07:19):
daydream and to get your headout of the clouds, but this is
how our soul communicates withus.
Dreams also form our innerguideposts and they're our
vision or our route to have avision for the future.
(07:40):
Dreams whisper our deepestdesires.
They nudge us toward the lifethat we were meant to live.
And Oprah Winfrey says thebiggest adventure you can ever
take is to live the life of yourdreams.
And I couldn't agree more.
So today we'll talk a littlemore about how to reconnect with
(08:00):
those dreams, to listen to thosewhispers, and how to let them
guide us.
in our true purpose.
I thought I, when it saiddreams, I thought, okay, it's
life purpose.
And the energy said, no, lifepurpose is too serious.
Today is about dreaming.
(08:21):
Now, Paul Coelho says the onlyone, there is only one thing
that makes a dream impossible toachieve.
And that's the fear of failure.
Although I've also noticed thefear of success sometimes gets
in the way or often, just asoften, gets in the way.
Many of us wind up letting ourdreams just gather dust on a
(08:44):
shelf.
We get buried under the weightof responsibilities and real
life or believe that our dreamsaren't possible.
And we always have a lot ofreasons why.
I can remember different dreamsthat I had.
I can remember going to greatlengths to explain to people why
(09:06):
accomplishing that dream wasn'tpossible.
It wasn't going to happen.
It wasn't a thing.
And I remember vividly my firstlevel three Reiki master and I
was explaining to her how Icouldn't go to study Reiki with
(09:26):
William Rand in England atStonehenge because I had young
kids and I had horses to lookafter and chickens and dogs and
cats and a husband and I didn'thave any money and I had so many
excuses so many reasons.
That dream couldn't happen.
(09:47):
But here's the thing.
She didn't listen to me.
She said, let's sit you down andrelease the obstacles to this
dream to make it possible toallow it to happen.
And I was thinking to myself, lady, these aren't obstacles.
It's money.
(10:07):
It's real life things.
It's practical things.
Reiki isn't going to be able tohelp with that.
But most of you here and most ofyou listening know that two days
later I received a check in themail that made it possible to go
to England.
So here's the thing.
Reiki can help us accomplish allof our dreams.
(10:31):
We don't have to know how it'spossible.
We just have to believe that itis and turn it over to Reiki.
Dreams are not just whimsicalwishes.
Remember, they're ourguideposts, our compass, our
unique vision for our own lives.
(10:51):
And with Reiki again, we cansimply turn it over and ask
Reiki to help and guide us.
We can go back to that prayerthat William Rand uses, Please
guide me and heal me, so that Imay be of greater service to
myself and others.
And we can surrender to Reiki, surrender our dreams to Reiki,
(11:13):
and say, We're not sure how thisis going to happen.
Can you figure this out for us?
And Reiki will.
It can.
Now I know I'm not the onlyperson who thinks that dreams
are important.
So I decided to look up somequotes, some things that some
really famous people have saidabout dreams.
(11:36):
Walt Disney said, if you candream it, you can do it.
And all of our dreams can cometrue if we have the courage to
pursue them.
What can help us with courage?
Reiki.
Eleanor Roosevelt, who I adore, said, The future belongs to
(11:57):
those who believe in the beautyof their dreams.
And her husband said, The onlylimit to our realization of
tomorrow will be our doubts oftoday.
Even Henry David Thoreau said,Go confidently in the direction
of your dreams and live the lifeyou have imagined.
(12:22):
Mary Kay Ashe of Mary KayCosmetics told us not to limit
ourselves.
She said many people limitthemselves to what they think
they can do, but you can go asfar as your mind lets you.
What you believe, remember, youcan achieve.
(12:42):
Roy T.
Bennett said don't be pushedaround by the fears in your
mind.
Be led by the dreams in yourheart.
Earl Nightingale said never giveup on a dream just because of
the time it will take toaccomplish it.
The time will pass anyway, and Ilove that one.
(13:04):
It makes me think of a wonderfulwoman.
She was the grandmother of oneof my Reiki students, and as
soon as she was a seniorcitizen, and university classes
became free, she went back toschool and studied advanced
(13:26):
physics.
So I think that's amazing.
And then, considering that samevein or that same line of
thought, Mark Twain said, 20years from now, you will be more
disappointed by the things thatyou didn't do than by the ones
you did do.
(13:46):
So throw off the bow lines, sailaway from the safe harbor, catch
the trade winds in your sailexplore.
Dream, and Discover, and thenJimmy Johnson summed it up so
nicely, saying the differencebetween ordinary and
extraordinary is that littleextra.
(14:12):
So today we're going to look atreconnecting with our dreams.
Some may even have been longforgotten.
But why did we lose touch withthem?
Life's demands, responsibility, the noise of the world, these
can all drown out our innervoice.
But Reiki reminds us it's nevertoo late to reconnect.
(14:33):
If we've lost touch with thedreams, We may lose touch with a
part of ourselves, that spark, that zest for life, it may begin
to dim.
We remember again that ourdreams aren't fantasies, they're
the blueprint of our potential, giving us direction, purpose,
and meaning.
And we consider Les Brown whosaid, shoot for the moon because
(14:55):
even if you miss, you'll landamong the stars.
So how do we dust off thosedreams and give them the
attention that they deserve?
One way we can do this is withautomatic writing.
This is a way of bypassing ourinner critic, bypassing the
doubts, bypassing the fears, andjust letting our intuition speak
(15:20):
to us.
Why is it important to do this?
Reconnecting with our dreams, asI mentioned, provides direction.
These dreams are going to act asa compass, taking us to our true
north.
And each one of us has our ownreason for being, our own things
that give us joy, our own truenorth.
(15:44):
Dreams also fuel our passion, motivating us to take action.
And what is life withoutpassion?
Dreams will inspire us to grow.
and evolve.
And finally, dreams cultivateresilience, giving us the
strength to overcome obstacles.
(16:06):
And here are a few real lifeexamples of people who
reconnected with their dreams.
and transform their lives.
I mentioned Oprah Winfreyearlier.
She had such a difficultchildhood and she's gone on to
become one of the mostinfluential women in the world.
(16:26):
She never lost sight of herdreams.
She believed in her vision andshe continued to work toward it,
even through all of thatdifficulty.
I think of another hero of minetoo, J.
K.
Rowling.
Before Harry Potter becamefamous and a global phenomenon,
she was rejected so many times.
(16:50):
I'm not 47, but I feel like Iheard that number at one point.
But she continued on, just asshe did.
She was driven by her dreams ofsharing her magical world with
others.
And I'm so grateful that shedid.
All of my own children, we readthese.
I had reading night every night.
(17:10):
It's the only way I could getthe kids in bed at a decent
hour.
Because I'd have them take theirbaths and brush their teeth.
Bye.
I wouldn't start reading untileverybody was settled into bed
and we had a certain time forthat every night.
It worked beautifully and Iwould read them a chapter every
night and they'd always beg fortwo and I often would read two
(17:32):
because I wanted to go furtherand sometimes even three.
But it was a really special timethat I had with the children
growing up.
The whole Harry Potter series, along with the Hobbit series,
the Lord of the Rings series, and Little House on the Prairie
(17:55):
series, those are some of thefavorites that the children had.
And all of my kids at 11 yearsold were waiting to get their
note to go to Hogwarts.
Another person who I reallyadmire who never gave up on his
dreams is Nelson Mandela.
He spent 27 years in prison.
(18:18):
How do you keep a hold of adream for 27 years?
I find this astounding, that henever gave up on his dream of a
free and equal South Africa andthat belief in his dreams, in
his vision, eventually led to amonumental success.
(18:41):
Thank you.
change.
And we're actually going to gointo a little bit of a writing
exercise next to reconnect withour dreams.
Because here's the thing, oncewe write down a dream and if we
decide maybe to add a datebeside it, it then becomes a
(19:04):
goal.
Once it's a goal, if we break itdown into steps, it becomes a
plan.
And then once we have thosesteps, if we cultivate the dream
so that it creates passion, thatpassion will allow us to back
(19:26):
that plan with action and thenthe dreams happen.
And this is Greg S.
Reed who put it so succinctly.
So we're going to go into ourautomatic writing exercises
today to just help you reconnectwith your own dreams.
(19:47):
Automatic writing is a powerfultool that helps us tap into our
subconscious mind and connectwith our deepest desires.
One of the things that's reallyimportant about this is we don't
edit.
We don't judge.
We simply let the words flow andtoday we're going to add a
(20:08):
little extra oomph to ourautomatic writing because we're
going to imbue ourselves withand our writing instrument with
Reiki.
And so we'll allow Reiki to takethe lead.
So go ahead and make yourselvescomfortable, and activate your
(20:30):
Reiki energy by bringing yourhands into Gassho, and you can
speak or chant or draw orimagine any Reiki symbols that
you wish to use today.
But in particular, I invite youto invoke the distance symbol
(20:55):
and the mental emotional symbol.
We'll just give you a fewmoments to do that.
Just feeling the Reiki energyflow through your hands and into
your heart, and start movingthrough your body and moving
(21:18):
into your body on your breath.
And if you'd like to, you candraw some Reiki symbols in the
room around you, the powersymbol.
is really helpful here.
And if you have holy fire, ifyou have animal Reiki, Kaurna
(21:40):
Reiki, and once the energy isactivated, I invite you to close
your eyes, take a few deepbreaths, and invite Reiki to
(22:04):
guide your hand and infuse yourpen or pencil.
(22:39):
And now that Reiki is flowingthrough, you can open your eyes
and grab your journal if youwould like.
And I invite you to write thefollowing question at the top of
your page.
(23:02):
What did I dream of when I was achild?
The question is, what did Idream of when I was a child?
And once you've written thatquestion, we're just going to
(23:23):
spend the next couple of minutessimply writing whatever comes to
your mind without editing, without judging, just letting
the words flow.
Once again, what did I dream of?
when I was a child, and thenjust begin allowing your pen to
(23:45):
take over and begin writing foryou.
I'm going to join you in thisexercise.
I don't remember what I dreamedof when I was a child, except
for a horse.
(27:59):
And if you need to write more onthis later, you can.
But we're going to move toanother question, which I'll
invite you to write at the topof your page.
What did I dream of when I firstbecame an adult?
(28:20):
For some of us that was around18 when we finished school or
17.
For some of us it might havebeen more in your early 20s.
But what did I dream of then?
(28:45):
Go ahead and allow your pen toflow with a stream of
consciousness.
(32:51):
And our third and final questiontonight is, if I could do
anything without fear offailure, I would.
And I'm just going to invite youto keep writing after that.
And we're going to spend alittle more time on that one.
(37:48):
And if you need to keep writing, continue.
But whenever this feels completefor you, I invite you to go
back, and look through whatyou've written, noticing if
there are any recurring themesor any surprising insights.
(38:13):
And you can go ahead and circleor highlight any of that.
You might be surprised by whatsurfaced, old dreams you'd
forgotten, new ones you hadn'tconsidered.
Or maybe you received someclarity around your dreams or
(38:35):
the steps that you need to take.
So let's spend a few moments nowjust reviewing what we've
written, looking for thosethemes and insights.
(42:07):
I'm going to invite you to takethings a little further after
our meditation today and afterour we're done this evening.
I'd like you to have a look atwhat you wrote and you may want
to revisit the questions andwrite on them a little bit
(42:28):
further as well in a lessstructured environment.
And once you've had a lookthrough and identified sort of
some surprises, some themes, some commonality, and I know I'm
definitely seeing somecommonality in mine.
(42:48):
Horses are everywhere, travel iseverywhere, exercise is
everywhere, and politics areeverywhere.
So that's interesting.
I didn't realize they were.
It was always, those things.
But what we're going to do istake those themes based on your
(43:09):
reflection.
And I'm going to invite you ifyou choose to write a clear
vision statement for your dreamlife.
So for example, you might havesomething like my dream is to
create a wellness center thatinspires and empowers others to
(43:31):
live their healthiest lives.
For myself, my dream is to findbalance spending time with my
horses and exercise and myself,as well as advancing green
politics.
Something along those lines,it's still a work in progress.
(43:55):
But just sitting down andthinking about that and turning
it into a bit of a visionstatement.
Now, another thing that I'mgoing to invite you to do is,
and we're going to do a littlebit of this in our meditation.
Just close your eyes for amoment.
(44:18):
And think about those dreamsthat came to light.
And just imagine yourself livingthese dreams.
And as you do, imagining thedetails, like what does it look
like, feel like, sound smelllike.
(44:40):
So just take a moment thinkingabout the themes.
And imagine that you'veaccomplished your dream or
dreams.
(45:01):
What does that look like, feellike, sound like?
And just get a picture solidlyin your mind.
(45:24):
And it's okay if it's still alittle bit vague.
It may come together moresolidly in our meditation.
But feel free, once you havevisualized yourself living your
dreams, to revisit that pictureas often as you wish.
(45:46):
And when you revisit it, thatwill give you an opportunity to
reconnect with the dreams eachtime.
I'm going to invite you after.
our share tonight to considerwriting down three steps, small
(46:08):
steps, very small, or one thatyou can take to move just a
little bit closer to your dream.
And I'd like you to write thesmallest step possible,
something that would take 15 or20 minutes to do, an hour at
most.
(46:30):
And if you'd you can allowyourself to continue writing
some of the steps.
You can maybe visit those andput a date on some of those, or
something that I like to do isonce I have the steps all
written.
(46:51):
I cut them up and put them in aReiki bowl.
I put them in a bowl, give Reikito the bowl, and each day I set
aside 15 or 20 minutes, no morethan an hour or two hours at the
very most when I'm writing, tospend time working toward my
dream.
And so I give Reiki to the bowland I pick out and I say, Oh,
(47:14):
this is the one, this is thestep I'm going to, I invite
Reiki to show me what step to dothat day.
And what I find that does isthat if I try to put the steps
in a logical order, they don'talways work.
That'll be the day that mycomputer doesn't work or my
emails go down, like they'redown right now or something
(47:36):
along those lines.
But if I allow Reiki to choosethe steps.
It comes together sometimes in avery unusual order, but very
seamlessly.
And the last thing that I'mgoing to ask you to consider
doing after afterward is justcommitting to yourself to take
(48:01):
some of those steps.
Because progress is progress, nomatter how small.
You might be thinking, but Ihave to pay bills, I have kids
to raise, I have a job to do.
How can I possibly have time topursue my dreams?
One of my bigger and morecomplicated dreams was writing
(48:24):
my book.
And sometimes I only had 15 to20 minutes a day to write that.
And it still created the book, even though I took very small
steps.
In fact, when I was consistentwith 15, and quite often I would
carve out 25 minutes at a time.
(48:46):
And sometimes I would carve outtwo chunks of 25 minutes in a
day.
And when I could be consistent, the book came together.
I know life is busy andresponsibilities are real, but
small steps make a hugedifference.
So here's just a few tips.
We're living your dream forafter our share and before we go
(49:09):
into our meditation, carve outtime in your schedule, even if
it's just 15 to 25 minutes aday, like I did, and just
dedicate that time to work on aspecific project, learn a new
skill, research an idea, getorganized, whatever it might be.
Sometimes it's just getting thething done that you need to do
(49:33):
beforehand, like before I canreally wrap up my book, I have
some other life things to getdone first, so I've really been
focusing on them lately, so thatI will be able to focus on my
book without distractions.
Another thing that helps isfinding your tribe, surrounding
(49:56):
yourself with supportive peoplewho encourage and uplift you.
And I think you're already therebecause you're here and you're
supported by a whole lot ofother folks that are here who
are rooting for you and sendingyou Reiki.
You can also celebrate yoursmall wins, like every step
(50:18):
forward is a step forward.
It's a victory.
So acknowledge your progress.
Give yourself credit.
You can even post your wins inour Reiki Share group.
Feel free.
I'd love to see them.
And finally, be kind toyourself.
(50:40):
Don't let fear or self doubthold you back.
There are going to be days whenyou can't carve out time for
your dreams.
That's okay.
Just try not to allow there tobe more than a day in a row.
I know you can do this.
You're capable of so manythings.
And remember this, my dearfriends, your dreams aren't just
(51:04):
for you.
They're a gift to the worldbecause when you shine your
light and live your truth byliving your dreams, you're going
to inspire other people to dothe same thing.
I find this is one of the thingsthat I really enjoy doing to
inspire my children and thosethat I mentor.
(51:27):
So this is definitely a journeyworth taking.
Going back to what EleanorRoosevelt, one of my heroes,
said, The future belongs tothose who believe in the beauty
of their dreams.
So believe in yourself, embraceyour dreams, and let them guide
(51:47):
you toward a life filled withpurpose and passion.
Now we're going to go into ameditation today that's going to
really, even if you don't haveclarity around the dreams, it's
really going to lock them in andconnect you with them and remove
any obstacles.
(52:09):
This is a special journey.
It's a journey into the heart ofyour dreams, those deep seated
longings, the visions of a lifethat makes your spirit soar.
Dreams are like whispers fromour soul.
They're our inner compasspointing us toward our true
north, our unique path.
(52:31):
And as Oprah mentioned, thebiggest adventure you can ever
take is to live the life of yourdreams.
And so in this meditation today,we recognize and acknowledge
that sometimes our whispers getmuffled, life's busyness,
responsibilities, our own doubtsand fears.
(52:52):
These can all cloud our vision, other people's doubts and fears
and wants and needs.
It's never too late to reconnectwith your dreams and reignite
your spark.
With Reiki, we can peel back thelayers of doubt and fear and let
Reiki, along with your dreams, illuminate your path.
(53:16):
I invite you to consider TheYasui distance healing symbol.
This symbol acts as a bridge.
It's a beacon of light.
It connects you to the essenceof you.
So therefore, if we think aboutit that way, it can help us
connect.
(53:37):
to our dreams.
And in fact, it can even help usto connect to our dreams made
manifest.
So if we consider thateverything exists in the
formless realm, and if weconsider that Reiki can help us
create form, From the formlessor bring the formless into form,
(54:01):
the sui distance healing symbolcan connect us with what exists
in the formless realm and helpbring it into the world of form
your daily life all around you.
And I also want you to think ofthe mental emotional symbol
because that one opens the doorto all possibilities.
(54:25):
This is a key to the field wherethe seeds of your dreams are
waiting to blossom.
This symbol can also act as atranslator, helping you
understand or decipher thelanguage of your dreams, helping
you understand your intuition, helping you understand the
(54:46):
spiritual guidance.
So I invite you, if you haven'talready, to draw those two
symbols today in your palms orin the air around you, the
distance symbol and the mentalemotional symbol.
(55:14):
And then we're going to moveinto our meditation today.
Close your eyes and take somedeep breaths, placing your hands
(55:34):
comfortably on your bodywherever you feel guided.
With every inhale, just imaginethat you're bringing pure Reiki
energy into your body, yourmind, your soul.
through your spirit and intoyour emotions.
(55:58):
And with every exhale, I inviteyou to release tension or worry,
grief, or any other denseemotion that has surrounded you
this week.
And we're just going to breathehere for a few moments, just
(56:18):
