improve your life, and we are sohappy that you're here.
Pamela (00:55):
On this week's podcast,
I am talking with my students
Ting and Ken Locke aboutspreading Reiki in China.
It's been such an honor to workwith them as they've been
becoming licensed Reiki masterteachers.
And maybe they can share alittle bit of that journey with
(01:17):
us as well, but welcome KenLocke and Ting.
Hi.
Hi.
Thanks for joining us today.
It just, it seemed like a bigdeal that we've been bringing
these licensed classes to Chinaand your classes are very full,
very popular.
It's going really well.
(01:38):
I'm so proud of the both of you.
And and all that you're doing.
So yeah, so glad to talk to youabout that today.
Before we go too far in, I justwanted to let you know about
some of the classes that I havecoming up and Ken Lok and Ting
can let us know about theirs.
We actually have our first time, for the first time ever, an
(01:59):
animal communication classcoming up in the Asian time zone
and it's going to be offered inMandarin, Japanese, and
Japanese.
and English and possiblyCantonese if we had quite a few
people from, that, that neededthat.
And that class is July 12th to14th and we'd love to have you
(02:22):
join us.
It's a Friday evening and thenthrough the weekend.
It's probably, I don't know ifI'll have an opportunity to
offer that there again.
I will offer the advanced classin the future as well.
But would love to have you joinus for that animal communication
class.
In July, I have classes inCampobello where we go whale
(02:45):
watching the Tuesday eveningafter the Level 1 and 2 class.
So I have what we call a ReikiMembership Association class,
which is five days in a row,Level 1, 2, and Master of Yasui
Holy Fire Reiki, and thatqualifies you to become a
professional member.
(03:05):
of the Reiki MembershipAssociation if you've been an
affiliate member or if youstudied with a non licensed
teacher.
And so that's July 22nd to 26th,and then that following week,
also on Monday to Friday, July29th to August 2nd, We have
Animal Reiki.
Those are classes that if youcan spend a little bit of extra
(03:27):
time on the island, it's trulymagical there.
We see whales from the shoresometimes.
There's miles of hiking trails.
It's Eleanor and FranklinRoosevelt's summer home.
So bring the family.
There's a beautiful golf coursethat was originally designed by
Franklin Roosevelt.
(03:49):
You can go to Eleanor's Tea andlearn all about her.
You can visit a lighthouse onlyat low tide though because we
have the highest tides in theworld.
So if that's is appealing toyou.
Those classes aren't full.
I'd love to have you join us.
And then August 12th to 16th, invery early mornings in North
(04:10):
America, late mornings inEurope, and evenings in
Australia and Asia, I've got aKaurna Reiki class.
I should mention that the Asianclass is also offered in
English, and it's a great timefor anybody in Europe as well.
It's very early mornings, though, if you're in North
(04:31):
America.
I know in the Atlantic timezone, I'm starting at 5 a.
m., so it might be a little tooearly for you, but the Karuna
class is not as early as that, and so you might decide to join
us there.
And then in August 19th to 23rd,Ting and Ken Locke and I are
going to offer an Animal Reikimaster class in an Asian time
(04:57):
zone.
And that's because as, becauseI'm one of the authors of the
Animal Reiki manuals and coursewe wanted to offer that to some
of our Asian students.
In October, I have a full lineupof classes.
Level 1 and 2 Masters, Animal 1and 2 Masters happening here at
(05:17):
the farm, and those begin onOctober 21st, which just happens
to be our election day here inCanada, but I will have already
voted.
That's going to happen then.
Guys, what do you have coming upfor classes?
And just when you talk aboutthem, if you could mention the
time zone.
Ting (05:37):
I have the animo reiki
class tomorrow.
Oh!
Pamela (05:43):
I love the podcast is
going to come out till Sunday,
Ting (05:45):
there's not enough time
for this.
Pamela (05:51):
And you don't have any
other classes planned.
Oh, I
Ting (05:54):
have.
Let me check.
I think I have some on Augustfor the coming class for Reiki.
Yeah, Reiki, Yusui Reiki 1, 2,17, 18 August.
And Yusui Master 24 to 26August.
Pamela (06:12):
Okay.
And are those online courses,Ting, or?
Yes,
Ting (06:15):
online courses.
Pamela (06:18):
Okay, I should have
mentioned that my Campobello and
classes here at the farm areboth online and in person, so
whatever works for people.
Yeah, thank you Ting andKenlock, what have you got
coming up?
Kenloch (06:30):
So I think all of my
July classes are all booked up,
so which is good news.
Pamela (06:35):
Yes, it is, your classes
are still, don't they?
Thank you.
Kenloch (06:39):
Yeah.
So in August, in Hong Kong timezone, I'm teaching an all hybrid
class.
The first weekend, I will haveUtsuri Reiki Level 1 and 2, and
then I will have Animal ReikiLevel 1 and 2, which is from 5th
of August to 7th of So if youare thinking joining PAM's
(07:07):
Animal Reiki Masterclass, youcan take this class beforehand.
And also, I will also have aAnimal Reiki a Holy Fire Reiki
Masterclass from 9th of Augustto 11th of August.
So that's my old spelling.
Pamela (07:24):
Okay.
And I know you teach prettyregularly every month, and both
of you do.
People can also check yourwebsites if those classes don't
work for them, and join youthen.
But it's just so exciting thatwe have these licensed classes.
in Asia.
We also have Lucy Jin, who'steaching in Japan.
(07:46):
We've had classes.
We've got a teacher in Brazilnow.
We've, Vidya Singh has been inIndia for quite some time.
Su Machado is in Brazil.
It's just wonderful.
And then we have Lennon Munakai.
in Japan.
So we've got licensed classesjust spreading all over the
world.
And that's really exciting.
(08:06):
Before Lucy
Ting (08:08):
is teaching in Korea, you
said Japan.
I
Pamela (08:10):
said Japan.
Sorry, Lucy is in Korea.
Thank you.
Lena and Munakai are in Japan.
Lucy is in Korea.
Yep.
Thank you.
And I hope I said that we'reoffering our animal
communication class in Korea.
And I didn't say Korea earlier.
Okay good.
(08:31):
So guys, before we go too muchfurther, it sounds like I need a
little bit of grounding andReiki.
So let's go ahead and just bringour hands in Gassho.
And while I'm talking about.
Ting and Ken Lok's journeystoday through the Licensed
Teacher Program at SpreadingReiki into China and Hong Kong.
(08:58):
What I'd like you to think aboutAs we go through is just where
can you spread Reiki, more Reikiin your life, whether that's
through sessions or talkingabout it with your eyes with
Gyoshi Ho, teaching classes, where can you spread more Reiki
(09:20):
in the world?
The earth needs us right now.
And so just bringing in yoursymbols and asking that question
and just noticing any ideas orimpressions that you receive.
We invite the Reiki energy toguide us and heal us, so that we
(09:43):
may be of greater service toourselves.
and to others.
And we are so grateful to be apart of this great, big,
wonderful Reiki family.
Those of you who are part of ourReiki from the Farm family, part
of the ICRT family, or any otherReiki family, we are all one.
(10:03):
We welcome you.
There is no division among us,even if we practice differently.
Thank you for being here today.
Namaste.
Guys, thank you for being heretoday and thank you for being my
students.
(10:23):
You guys have just kept me on mytoes.
You are so hardworking and youare so popular.
Both of you.
Kenlock, you do a lot ofteaching in Hong Kong.
You also have moved intomainland China and Taiwan.
Ting, you teach in mainlandChina and Taiwan and your
(10:46):
classes are so full.
I've got to meet some of yourbeautiful students.
It's been an honor of my life.
To have had the privilege ofassisting you in becoming
licensed teachers and spreadingthis Reiki into your
(11:06):
communities, into yourcountries, and it just, I don't
know, it just your students arealways remarkable.
I love them.
We just did an introduction tothe animal communication for
Reiki practitioners class andhow many people showed up?
272 or something like thatpeople showed up for the
(11:28):
introduction, which was amazing.
And you guys are just killingit.
You're doing such a great job.
And I think when we all thinkabout it, All of our nations,
all of our countries need Reikiso much, and especially we do an
extra thousand hours of trainingat the licensed teacher level,
(11:50):
just to make sure that ourclasses are the best quality
they can possibly be.
And yeah, thank you for whatyou're doing.
It's awesome.
Kenloch (12:01):
Yeah, thank you, Pam,
too.
I think the licensed programreally pushed us to become a
better teacher, and then pushedus to become an authentic self.
Pamela (12:11):
Yeah, I do too.
And I know I watched myself growin that thousand hours of
training.
It's designed for that.
It's designed for that growthand to, William designed it
originally to be able to say, tobe able to refer.
He couldn't see all of theteach, all of the students.
(12:32):
He, his classes were full and hethought I'd like to refer them
to other teachers, but how do Iknow that those other teachers
are providing, he worked so hardon the quality of his classes.
He thought, how do I ensure thatthose other teachers are
providing the same quality ofclasses that I am?
(12:53):
And he said I know I can trainsome teachers to teach the same
quality of class, and then I canrefer them.
And even now he refers to anyone of us.
He talks about us all the timewhen people say, Oh, I'm from
here.
Oh, we have a licensed teacherfrom there.
Have you met him or her?
She's great.
And because he knows that goingthrough that training program,
(13:17):
we became such strong teachers.
But I'm going to start with justa very basic question for each
of you.
I'm just going to ask, and I'llstart with you, Kenlock, because
you're at the top of my screen.
Can you tell me a little bitabout what initially brought you
into Reiki and share a littlebit about your background and
journey?
Kenloch (13:36):
So I think I started to
get in touch with Reiki in my
high school.
So I just see people advertisingtheir service on Instagram and
saying that Reiki can enhanceyour academic behavior.
So I think In my high schooltime I'm being quite competitive
with all the academic stuff, andalso, I'm a little bit too
(14:00):
stressed out, and I'm also alittle bit depressed, so I feel
like I really need some healing.
I didn't really question it.
Because I think most of myfriends will think you're crazy,
you're, like, doing somesuperstitious stuff.
But then, because I have aBuddhist background, and then
the concept of spiritual healingis already introduced to me in
(14:24):
my really young age.
I didn't really question it, Ijust gave it a try, and each
time I receive a session, I canfeel myself getting better.
Yeah.
So emotionally getting better, and my grades are getting
better, so I have the trust inReiki in really early stage.
And then after I graduated fromhigh school I have a few months
(14:49):
before university I was thinkingwhat should I do?
So the idea of, the first ideapopping up is to start a
spiritual business, because Ilearned tarot cards and
astrology reading in a reallyearly stage.
So I feel like, ah, maybe I canstart a business like that.
So I start to provide like tarotcard reading and astrology
(15:12):
reading.
But then I realized one thingthat sometimes the tarot card
and astrology reading, so itgives us some insight, but then
we also need some healing toreally implement those insights.
So the idea of learning Reikicomes up.
(15:32):
So I took a Reiki level one andtwo class with one of the
professional members in my area.
And then I feel like it justchanged my life.
So like I start to do healing onmy clients and on myself.
And I constantly seeing peopletransforming and growing.
(15:54):
And then and that also push meto take religious studies in my
university as well as my major, because I feel like when I'm
going to explain some spiritualconcept, I want to be more
developed first.
I need something inside toreally share outside.
(16:14):
I decided to took ReligiousStudies as my major.
It Reiki is not necessarily areligion, but then there are
some religious ideas, and thereare also some texts behind.
Usui sensei are really religiousin Shintoism and Buddhism, and
(16:34):
also maybe Christianity as well.
Yeah, I think that just helpedme to explain Reiki in a more
systematic way, and then to havemore religious text references.
on all the topics.
And then I really, I'm alsorunning my business in my
university time.
(16:54):
Wow.
Pamela (16:55):
That's amazing that you
started your business at 18, Ken
Lok.
And
Kenloch (17:00):
yeah.
Pamela (17:00):
Wow.
Kenloch (17:02):
I think I'm a, I can be
an example for people.
Of who are thinking that whatshould they become.
If people are considering havingspirituality as their business
or as their career.
The example here.
And I'm here to show you thatyou can do that.
And then you can always bebetter than me as well.
Pamela (17:21):
And and you work and
live at the moment in Hong Kong,
a place with very expensiverents and so on.
And you've just, you've managedthat from the time that you were
18 and your business is verydeveloped and involved and
successful.
Your students love you.
And Yeah, well done.
And what drew you to thelicensed teacher program, if you
don't mind me asking?
Kenloch (17:42):
So I just feel like
becoming a more professional
teacher.
When I'm affiliate member,because I initially I learned
from a professional member.
So I feel like the teacherreally demonstrate the level of
professionalism.
And I want to be moreprofessional.
Like them as well.
So I learned with William andalso Colleen to become a
(18:07):
professional member.
And then William and Colleenshowed me a higher level of
professionalism.
And then it just makes me bethinking, Oh, I want to be one
of them.
I want to be an awesome teacherlike them.
And I really want to to helppeople who would like to become
one.
(18:27):
professional member, and also aprofessional Reiki teacher as
well.
It just it just motivates me,and then I met Pam, and the idea
of having a mentor is reallybrilliant, because you're
constantly having somebodywatching your growth, and also
giving you advice, and thenreally get a lot of support
(18:47):
here.
I think becoming License teacheror joining a program is one of
the most amazing thing in mylife.
Pamela (18:58):
I agree.
It's been one of the mostamazing things in mine.
I, my mentor is, it's been solovely mentoring you and Ting,
and my mentor is Colleen, and Itold her the other day, if it
wasn't for you as my mentor andthis program, I wouldn't have
had the confidence to have goneinto politics or do, or write my
(19:19):
book or do all of the thingsthat I've been able to do
lately.
So yeah, thank you, Ken Locke.
I can't wait to see where you'regoing with this.
And Ting, you too, you just youwere my first student that I got
to mentor, and you feel like mydaughter, you both feel like my
(19:40):
children in a way, and I hopethat doesn't sound patronizing,
but okay.
And I've just enjoyed so muchwatching your growth.
Can you tell us a little bitabout your history and
background and what brought youto Reiki and what brought you to
the LRMT program?
Ting (19:57):
Oh, yes.
My family is my parents, theyare doing nothing with the
energy things and they are justnormal.
My My father do architecturethings.
My mother, yes, also.
So I grew up with architecture, history, culture things.
So I major in my university andmaster.
(20:18):
All is in architecture.
So I'm an architecture designer,
Pamela (20:23):
but
Ting (20:23):
I don't like that, my job.
I don't like my career.
So I was trying to work in aJapanese company, but I feel
like, Oh my God, it's hard forme.
Yeah, it's really hard for me.
And Things happens after I go toAustralia next year, my soul
leading me to Australia.
I, at the beginning, I just keptcoming to my study because I
(20:47):
studied eight year forarchitecture design.
And on the next
Pamela (20:50):
year,
Ting (20:51):
yeah, I met some friends.
They doing Reiki, I make somefriends, and the next year when
I come into Australia and Ifound Reiki, and my friend,
because she's a Reiki killer, soshe heal me.
And when you went
Pamela (21:04):
to Australia, was it for
school, Ting?
Was it for architecture?
Ting (21:09):
Also for architecture.
Pamela (21:10):
Yes.
Okay.
Ting (21:12):
Yeah.
I met a lot of things in myfamily, in my life about Reiki.
So the next year when I come inwhen I'm in Melbourne, my friend
healed me.
Pamela (21:22):
Wow.
Yeah.
Ting (21:23):
I was thinking back, I was
thinking if I didn't go to
Melbourne, Australia, I wouldn'thave chance to met Reiki,
definitely, because my familythey are logic mind.
They don't believe any religiousthings, any energy things.
(21:43):
Yeah.
So the next year when I foundReiki, I was shocked because I
couldn't believe why people canhave hand with heart,
Pamela (21:52):
but
Ting (21:53):
their hand is cold.
They hear me, I can feel theenergy.
Yeah.
I was shocked.
So I was a bit curious aboutwhat's that, so I asked her, but
she told me she can't teach mebecause she's not the master.
I was like, oh, they have atournament.
And then I checked.
I said, oh my god, I want this.
(22:14):
I want this.
It's really different.
It's like a really new thing.
It's a new thing in my life.
I can't believe that, so I won'tdo that, because my friend did
heal me for that, so I checkedand then I found ICRT.
But at that time, it's about2017 I only found the teacher in
(22:34):
Mainland, Chinese Mainland, butit had to face, and the time,
she scheduled, I didn't, I can'tback, because at that time I was
on my class.
in Melbourne.
So I missed all her class time.
So I was thinking, okay, fine.
I might find some other teacherfirst.
So in the coming three years, Ikeep finding different teacher
(22:58):
to learn Reiki many times andthen call you home.
And I finally, I remember at thecoming two years, for the first
two years, I didn't have, Idon't have any feeling about
Reiki.
So I feel I'm lack of confidenceto heal myself and a few others.
I think it's beginning years of2020s.
(23:19):
I've met a teacher.
They heard from Japanese, Japan, sorry, Japan.
And she is so kind.
She teach me a lot.
And then from that.
I have confidence and I start tohealing people and I also learn
master from her with Yusui Reikimaster and I start teaching, but
(23:42):
I know one day I want to takethe ICRT class because that's my
dream.
And then, At the middle of 2020,is COVID already come?
I was planning, okay, I don'tknow, I don't know COVID will
come in two or three years.
I just thought maybe just oneyear.
So I said, okay, I need to findsome teacher and I won't join
class when the, Because my cityis just shut up, we can't do
(24:05):
anything.
We can't do, we do nothing.
So I was thinking, oh, maybewhen COVID finished, I can find
some teacher.
So I was planning for that.
So I come into SRT website tofind the teacher and I print I
choose Australia and I found.
And I talked to her with emailsand then she told me you can
join the class online.
(24:26):
I was really shocked becausefrom 2017, I tried to join this
class, but I know you have to bein person.
But in Australia, they have noteacher.
In person, I can join.
So
Pamela (24:39):
I was the only one that
went to Australia to teach in
2018 and 2019.
Ting (24:45):
Yeah, so I found the, I
just taking the class for three
years until 2020.
And I found POMS and ENO.
I think so.
I don't remember.
It's already end of 2020s.
I'm so exciting because I canjoin the class online.
Especially on the COVID times.
I take her class one time.
(25:08):
The Yusui Reiki 1, 2, YusuiReiki Master and and the Kaurna
class.
And the animal Reiki class.
Yeah, I remember I spent aboutmaybe one half month or two
months with Pamela.
Yeah, you did all of my
Pamela (25:22):
classes.
You did animal communicationtoo.
I'm so
Ting (25:26):
excited.
I waited for class for threeyears and I found it.
Yeah, because I think SRT is aprofessional, really
professional group for peoplewho want to learn Reiki.
So that's my dream.
Yeah.
Pamela (25:41):
I love it.
And then when you joined theprogram, I got to be your mentor
and I was, yeah, we were both soexcited.
And I didn't meet you until 2022when I went to Yeah.
Ting (25:56):
I, yeah.
I become the, they approved mefrom 2022.
Pamela (26:01):
2020.
No, I didn't get to meet you inperson until I came to
Australia.
Oh, yes.
2023.
Last year when I was there toteach, we met in person for the
first time, and it was Yeah, Iwas teaching
Ting (26:12):
in Canberra, and yeah, I
think it's March, 2023, March.
Yeah, it
Pamela (26:17):
was, and it was so
exciting.
Ting (26:20):
Yeah, it was so exciting,
yeah! Yeah, I wanna cry.
Pamela (26:25):
Honestly, just like Ken
Luck, Ting you have such great
students and I, gee, I just Iknow Yvonne's probably
listening, so I'm going to sayhello to her.
But, and a lot of your otherstudents as well.
They're so lovely.
I just, I've enjoyed so muchwith both of you doing our co
(26:45):
teachers together and meetingthem and.
Yeah.
And Ting, you did somethingelse.
You took my Reiki business book, which is actually in the sun
right now.
It's really popular.
Thank you.
You translated it into Mandarin.
And I'm going to commit to youthat by the time this podcast
(27:08):
goes live on Sunday, the ebook,at least, is going to be
available.
to everyone through Amazon andall of that.
And then I've, there's a glitchwith the cover that I've, I
haven't been able to overcomewith my publisher, just
something I can't figure out.
I'll still keep working on thatso that it's available.
(27:29):
But Ting, you actually had someof the books printed.
That was such a huge task.
You translated that whole thingto Mandarin.
What motivated you to do that?
And you've taught a class withthe book.
What motivated you to do that?
And how did that class go?
Ting (27:46):
First because Your book is
a Reiki business book.
A lot of Reiki people, healers, they don't have much business
mind.
So I think it's really good forthem to open their mind to
inspire them about how to runtheir business.
And so yeah, I, after Itranslate this book and I make
(28:08):
the book club.
reading book club for the peoplewho want to join.
Yeah, now still, I, now it's a,it's become record, but still
have people register.
And all, everyone, people whoare reading this book or joining
my record for the book club, they just said, Oh my God, it's
(28:28):
really good for them to inspirethem.
Because you have a lot ofmeditation, Reiki section,
session for them to inspire themhow to run their own way.
And with some Reiki wisdom to,yeah, respire a lot.
So I think this book is reallygood.
And I think it's necessary Forthe people who want to have
(28:53):
their own, their Reiki business.
Pamela (28:58):
I'm so excited that it's
available in China now in
Mandarin.
And I, like I said I am going toget the ebook out there today.
And we're going to and hopefullyI can figure out that.
whatever that computer glitch isthat we're having with the
cover.
(29:18):
Because the book is all there.
Ting did all the work.
We've gone through it with afine tooth comb and it's super
exciting.
And so I'm so glad that yourstudents are enjoying it.
Some of the other licensedteachers, I've actually have had
me send them cartons of thephysical book, like 24 books.
(29:38):
And they've done like Yuting, abook club, and just helped their
masters through it, go chapterby chapter, and maybe meet once
a month or something.
And you met daily.
So you guys really went throughthat book.
Because you did it while youwere in China.
And yeah, thank you for doingthat.
I so appreciate it.
Ting (30:00):
And they appreciate you
also.
I appreciate you also becauseyou, yeah, you're like the, the
light, just to lead them tobecome better Reiki healer.
I appreciate
Pamela (30:13):
it so much.
Oh, thank you.
Oh my gosh, you guys, anybodywatching, you see why I love
these guys.
I always tell my students, Isay, you know what guys, I
always get the best students, somy hope for you as a Reiki
master is that you'll get thesecond best student.
Because I'm sorry, I get thebest.
And I love all of our licensedteachers, but I really lucked
(30:38):
out in the getting to mentor youguys.
Now listen this is sointeresting.
Ting, you live in Australia, andyet you teach in mainland China.
At first, of course, it was allonline, but now you sometimes
travel to mainland China andteach in person as well.
Kenlock, you're in Hong Kong, but you're still here.
(30:58):
soon going to be moving toAustralia, and yet you'll still
be teaching in Hong Kong andmainland China.
How, tell me how that works foryou guys, how that's going to
work.
Kenloch (31:13):
So my plan is to start
teaching more online class
because I realized that thereare actually lots of people who
speak Cantonese or who speakMandarin all around the world,
and they're just they're notreally in Hong Kong or in China.
So I think my goal is oraspiration is to get contact
(31:33):
with them, to have them in myclass and then to start teaching
classes in different Chineselanguage online.
So people all around the worldwho speak those language can
have a Reiki teacher to teachthem.
And then also.
I think I'm going to travel backand forth from Australia to Hong
(31:55):
Kong, maybe once or twice anyear.
So if people who are thinkingtaking face to face classes,
they will have option to takeface to face class with me.
And then for those who alreadytook my online class, and if
they feel like to have a secondexperience, but it's an in
(32:18):
person I'll give them a discountto be in my face to face class,
so to still get contacted withthe Hong Kong Reiki community
and also the world Reikicommunity.
Yeah, so that's my approach now.
(32:38):
Yeah, but of course I'm open formore changes.
Yeah,
Pamela (32:44):
and suggestions, but
that sounds like it'll work
fine.
And you know what, Ting, you, that's what you've been doing
more or less, and that's beenworking for you.
Can you tell us how you'vemanaged that?
Ting (32:54):
I have much changing also,
but I'm different, totally
converse, because I was, RunningRiki online teaching riki class
online for the past three years.
Oh, no.
Yeah.
Three or four years.
And from end of last year Istart to teaching mainland in
mainland.
And I yeah, last November isfirst time, and this year, may
(33:19):
of this year is the second time.
Yeah.
And so my plan is to open moreclass.
But it's a face to face and inperson and online together,
hybrid class.
So yeah, my plan is to try moretime, more and more time, to
teaching some in person.
Because I found in person alsohave some different face online.
(33:43):
The people, they can keep incontact with each other.
And the energy is a little bitdifferent.
But they have their choice tojoin online or in person.
Yeah, so my place to open moreand more in person class
Pamela (33:59):
and I love usually when
you have an in-person class,
you'll send me a photo andeverybody is just glowing.
Everybody looks so happy.
You've got the screen there, you've got everybody online and
you're set up reallybeautifully.
Yeah,
Ting (34:12):
Chinese mainland the, I
found that there are much human,
tremendous people that loveWiki.
I got 26 people.
For Ricky one, two on Beijing.
In Beijing.
This may
Pamela (34:23):
Unreal.
I know.
Yeah.
You both have Great.
Ting (34:26):
16 16 in person and nine
or 10 online.
Pamela (34:29):
Online,
Ting (34:30):
yeah.
I was shocked
Pamela (34:31):
also.
Ting (34:34):
I don't
Pamela (34:34):
often get Yeah you're
doing amazing work.
I, I remember that our firstclass together, Ting there were
protests happening around COVIDin China and you and I were both
saying, Oh, no this is really, this is stressful and this is,
(34:55):
could be.
And so we both sent Reiki and itall worked out beautifully and
peacefully and we couldn't helpbut think that just the fact
that we were teaching thatlovely Reiki class at that time
may have contributed to thepeaceful resolution of the
difficulties for people.
So it's amazing what we get todo, isn't it?
Ting (35:19):
yeah and I really
appreciate for the students
because Chinese is big, they flyto different from different area
to just stay and join the inperson class.
It's really, it's miracle, Ithink.
Pamela (35:32):
Oh, Amaze, you're doing
such a great job, both of you
With your businesses, with yourpractices and spreading reiki.
And tell me though Ken, look,I'll start with you and then go
to Ting.
Are there any unique challengesby that you come across
culturally or or whatever whenyou are working to spread Reiki
(35:52):
in Hong Kong, in mainland Chinaand Taiwan?
Kenloch (35:57):
I think in Hong Kong or
in, or China, Taiwan, like this.
a group of people, they put somany emphasis on the one word
called tradition.
Pamela (36:09):
Like being traditional.
Traditional, yeah.
Kenloch (36:12):
That makes, say, some
of the teachers claim that their
Reiki practices are the mostauthentic, or the most orthodox,
or the most traditional.
So I think that kind of createsconfusion, even to myself, like
when I first learned Reiki, because I learned from a Aise
Aotei professional member, soit's a western group.
(36:34):
So I think, am I learningsomething that is not authentic?
Or because that person is notAsian, no, the training is not
from Asian training or Japanesetraining.
Is it really authentic likethat?
I think people in my area havethis kind of confusion as well.
But then whenever my studentstell me that they have this kind
(36:58):
of confusion, I think it's thebest timing to explain the ever
evolving, essence on Reiki.
Because Wusui sensei taughtReiki and passed on he gave each
of his students, and he givesHayashi, like a mission is to
continuously developing Reiki.
(37:20):
So I think his aspiration is notthat to have all of us, all the
Reiki students to practice thesame style.
of what he's doing, he wasdoing.
He wanted us to like reallydevelop our style and then to
develop this energy.
So like I just tell them like inthe history how The Reiki is
(37:43):
evolving and then it's very hardto tell which is traditional
because the essence of it isgrowing and evolving all the
time.
And then I think it's also avery good timing to explain the
no competition idea, a noncompetition idea of ICRT.
(38:05):
Yeah, like all the Reikiteachers are striving to provide
the good for humanity and alsoto help people.
And then it's not cool just tosay I'm the most orthodox one
and then the rest are not good.
There's one, one sentence Ireally got touched when I took a
(38:26):
Japanese Reiki class fromanother teacher.
All right.
So from Hyakuten Inamodo, he'salso one of the teachers of
William as well.
And then he said, so the mostimportant thing of Reiki is to,
is how many love that you give.
It's not how traditional youare.
(38:47):
It's how many love that youpromote and share to the world.
So
Pamela (38:50):
that
Kenloch (38:51):
I think that kind of
heals.
me as well because I had thatdoubt and I believe like people
around me had that doubt aswell.
So whenever they have this kindof confusion I can just repeat
this quote to them and then likeit's really powerful.
Pamela (39:09):
It is, and it makes me,
I love that, and I think about
when you say, talk about theevolution, about how Yasui
Sensei himself said that weshould be constantly working to
develop both the quality and thequantity of Reiki energy that,
that we work with, and so Iguess that involvement has been
(39:31):
part of it, and I'm like you,I've always said that Every,
there are 8 billion people onthe planet and every one of them
could use Reiki classes andsessions.
So there are enough people forall of the Reiki teachers and
masters out there.
And it's lovely that there aredifferent styles because
(39:55):
Somebody might be drawn at aparticular time to one style
more than the other, and it'snice that style is there for
them.
And then maybe at another timethey're drawn over to a
different style and that's fine.
It's all part of our evolvement, our journey, right?
Kenloch (40:13):
Yeah, and it's the
diversity that makes Reiki grow.
Pamela (40:17):
Yeah, it really does.
Yeah.
Thank you, Ken Lok.
And I love Ken Lok's classesbecause with his background in
religious studies, he's alwaysgot a beautiful context and, can
explain things in a way thateveryone can really understand
no matter what language.
are diverse spiritual orreligious backgrounds.
(40:37):
So what about you, Ting?
What do you find?
Were there any unique challengesfor you in developing?
Because you were the first one, first licensed teacher into
mainland China.
And did you, was there anythingthat you had to overcome with
the language for a while?
What's that?
Ting (40:58):
I was thinking about the,
yeah, I was thinking about the
topic because.
I did feel, have some challenge,but I don't think it's from
Reiki.
It's from myself, because allthe challenge, it really is
because we against ourself.
So for this coming years, one ortwo years, I feel like the gains
(41:18):
are just gone, because I healedmy, I healed myself.
And I want to share is because Ifound I become more and more
grateful for the people.
My teacher, my student, and Ifound when you become grateful,
all the against, they're justgone by themselves.
(41:39):
So I think I didn't face anyagainst, but yeah, the
revolution is a thing,traditional.
People sometimes talking aboutthat, but yeah, but at the
beginning of this year, I makethe interview with William.
He taught the things, so I don'tmatch some people who just
(42:00):
asking about this.
They just truly trust SRT.
They don't compare thetraditional or western way.
I think maybe because I just begrateful.
So they just choose me andwithout doubt.
Yeah, I want to share the Grit4.
It's really good.
Just the pure heart Grit4.
And all that is just gone.
Pamela (42:21):
That is so beautiful and
important thing, isn't it?
That just so many times thechallenges that we do face when
we're ready to get a businessout there, when we're ready to
start teaching, it is, it's allour own insecurities, our own
(42:41):
Concerns.
And once we use Reiki to healthose, people can feel it.
There's an energetic, people canfeel our frequency.
And so I think what you'resaying is the most important
thing we can do as a teacher andin our businesses is just work
on ourselves, continue to raiseour frequency, and then the
(43:01):
people will find us who need us.
And it is important to do a bitof marketing to help them find
us, but.
That's brilliant.
Ting (43:10):
Yeah, and also we need to
grateful all the teachers, even
if it's not our, not in ICRT.
Yeah, every lineage.
Pamela (43:18):
Yeah, because
Ting (43:21):
They just spread, share
the love and just helping
people.
So just ask them, if someone askme about this kind of questions,
I just, I'll maybe find someteacher, Shu Si, Min Yao, Chu
Zi, I just say, okay, followyour heart.
Every teacher is excellent.
(43:43):
They are light.
They share love.
So just find the one suitablefor you because you can have
some growth from them.
Follow your soul.
That's how.
Pamela (43:54):
I love that.
Ting (43:56):
Why become this thinking
and share this energy?
I have more and more peoplecoming.
Pamela (44:06):
It's interesting, isn't
it?
I tell people too, like theseare when my classes are and then
sometimes people say, Oh, thosedates don't work for me.
And I'm like maybe there'sanother teacher who would work
better.
Maybe that's when you're, whoyou're supposed to go to.
And there's just no attachmentis there.
Ting (44:24):
Yeah.
And also we thank for all theReiki master because we just
share Reiki, like more, make theword more and more people can do
Reiki.
Yeah, so that's what I wannashare is because just become
more and more grateful andeverything.
Just fix
Pamela (44:40):
gratitude.
Ting (44:41):
You feel happiness also, I
feel happiness every time while
teaching, while doing something.
I feel happiness because withgrateful, you have happiness and
you bring happiness to others.
Yes.
Pamela (44:56):
Yeah, right?
That is such great advice, Ting, and you're such an excellent
teacher.
I've enjoyed working with you,and we worked through some
language challenges.
At first, you had to translatethe manuals in order to have
them available for people andthe forms and things like that.
So there was a lot of work todo, but, and Ken Lok, you've
(45:18):
been working on Cantonesemanuals and just providing that.
And so you guys have to do alittle bit more work than the
rest of us.
And I appreciate that too.
So yeah, gratitude.
What a great message team.
Ting (45:32):
We're all wonderful.
Pamela (45:35):
We are, everyone.
Yeah, everyone.
And I tell people that all thetime.
I've taught you guys so well, actually, you guys are just
amazing students.
But I tell people that all thetime, they'll talk about this
lineage or that one.
And like you, I just say just,Follow your heart.
Go to the one that feels rightfor you.
(45:56):
It's going to be fine.
And, and it always works outpeople find exactly the right
teachers, the right classes.
You guys have been pioneers, though, also, not just with
Reiki, bringing Reiki into Chinaand Hong Kong and Taiwan, but
Also, and maybe you'll be alsoteaching it in Australia.
(46:18):
Have you guys given that anythought?
Will you be teaching someclasses together?
You're both going to be inMelbourne.
I'd love to come over and teacha class with you in Melbourne
sometime.
Kenloch (46:29):
We should all do a
class.
We should all do a class, threeof us.
Pamela (46:35):
Let's do that.
Let's do that next year.
Let's do, I, yeah, I'd lovethat.
Let's teach a class inMelbourne, the three of us.
Wouldn't that be amazing?
What would three licensedteachers be like?
That would be incredible.
I think we'll, we should makethat a plan.
But you've been pioneers withthis, but you've also been
(46:56):
spreading our animal, our ICRTanimal Reiki.
And can you tell us a little bitabout how that's going?
Kenloch (47:04):
I
Pamela (47:04):
think people
Ting (47:06):
just
Kenloch (47:09):
love that.
Because the healing is not juston animal, and they also.
It's for themselves as well.
So living in Hong Kong, it justmakes it really disconnect with
the nature.
We're living in a big metropoliscity, and then we don't really
have nature around us.
(47:30):
And then, I think having theAnima Reiki just really help
people to get.
in touch with the nature again, with Reiki.
And then people are telling methat after Animal Reiki, they
are really having they try tospend more time in the nature,
and also even if they don't, byusing the symbol or the healing
(47:50):
energy, it already makes themfeel like to realign with the
earth again.
Yeah, just wonderful for people.
like in Hong Kong to have anyReiki.
And then also having a pet isquite normal here.
So that people just constantlyfinding ways to, to have a
connection, like deeperconnection with people.
(48:12):
with the animal.
So the animal Reiki and animalcommunication is really popular
here and it's just wonderful tohaving a one more system to
share because it's more specificand then there are more skills
and tools that we can use in thefuture.
on animal.
And then, yeah, I think I reallyappreciate the system.
Pamela (48:35):
I love that.
And that is probably the thingthat surprised us the most is
how much the humans who took theclass healed.
And there was a tremendousamount of healing for the
humans.
And yeah, it was surprising, butit was lovely.
It was wonderful.
And I, one of the things I lovewhen we teach online, so I'll be
(48:56):
teaching with you guys or Iguess I'll be teaching, you'll,
you guys will teach the levelone and two class, and I'll
teach a master class.
I just didn't have time to teachboth, but One of the things
that's going to be needed iswhen you have an online class
with Animal Reiki, the animalscan participate and get the
attunements too, if they want.
And so I'm so excited that someof the animals can join us.
Kenloch (49:22):
And also Animal Reiki,
just It's really a special
system for me, because it's me,it's because of myself, me
myself took an EmoReiki classwith Jerry Mictus.
Yes.
That makes me like to join alicensed program as well.
That was class.
(49:44):
Yeah, because I feel like thesystem is really laughing.
The word, by reading the manual, you already get the healing.
And you just feel really gettouched.
It just makes me become, want tobecome one of them.
Pamela (49:57):
I'm grateful to Jerry
and I'm grateful to Animal Reiki
that it brought you to us, KenLok, because you're a great
addition to our organization,for sure.
What about you, Ting?
What have you found with AnimalReiki?
Ting (50:13):
Oh my god, because it's
two stories to share.
At first, I remember I was doingthe public sharing about Animal
Reiki, and I connect the land.
Animal, all the whole land.
And I cry because I see thepictures like the people kill
the animals and they becomehomeless and die.
(50:35):
So I cry and Every time when Iopen Reiki, Animal Reiki 1 2
class, most of the students cryalso.
They touch a lot.
Yeah, because I found, I feelthe energy just choosing
someone, and someone choosingthe Animal Reiki energy also.
(50:56):
Because, some people havemisunderstanding, they think
Animal Reiki is for animals.
But I found animal Reiki is bothimportant to an animal and a
human, because human is one ofthe animal kingdom, and animal
Reiki, I see, I feel likethey're more focused on the
(51:19):
difference, and the justice, andyeah, people sometimes have some
Thinking need to fix.
They think my, they are the, they own the nature, they own
the earth and yeah this reallyanimal is a fall of love.
So they killed people a lot andI found the people who join my
(51:42):
riki.
Animal Reiki class.
They usually have more love.
They usually have animals.
Some of them, they sacrificethemselves a lot to receiving,
to survive, helping the peoplehelping the animals.
I remember I have the class havethree people and the three
(52:04):
people all from Beijing.
And after that, the three ofthem, they become a small group
and they just find the people, find animals who need help and
they say, Oh my god, they haveone, help her, help this one.
And they just, the three of themhave gloriation also, like your
cat, I'm mom with your cat andI'm father with your cat and
(52:25):
they are really good at them.
So I found animal Reiki is moreloved and, it's different
frequency, energy with youthree, and yeah, and I'm touched
a lot.
I think the people, I thinkpeople need Animal Reiki also.
(52:47):
So when they know the true meansof Animal Reiki and what Animal
Reiki wants sharing, they willknow how good this Reiki is.
Pamela (52:57):
Yeah, I think I, I'm, I
agree with you Ting, like we,
even as we created Animal Reikiinitially, we thought we were
doing it for the animals and theenergy kept saying, and people
are animals.
And we thought we were justgoing to be using the, Yosui
Reiki that we already were usingwith animals.
And we were very surprised tofind that it had its own
(53:19):
frequency.
And but probably the thing thatsurprised both Colleen and I the
most as we started to teach it.
And I haven't talked with Robinand Sue about this, but I'm sure
they found the same thing isthat how much it healed the
people.
And there's a, probably myfavorite phrase.
(53:39):
In Animal Reiki, it was ameditation that Colleen did with
the earth, and she had said tothe earth, What must you think
of us?
And the earth and the animalssaid, You're beautiful.
And if you could only seeyourselves the way that we see
you, if you could only recognizeyour beauty, you would create
(54:01):
your life.
from that place.
It's because you believeyourselves to be flawed and
destructive that you create yourlives from that place.
So if you could just realize howbeautiful you are, just
understand your beauty.
If you could see yourselves likewe see you, that's where you
would create your lives from.
(54:22):
And that touched me so deeplythat phrase, and I try to
remember it.
I try to it's in our culture,it's very common to pick out the
flaws and think of the thingsyou did wrong and, you might
have done 98 things beautifullyand two things less than
perfectly.
(54:42):
And it's important to focus onthe 98 things, not the two.
And it's, I don't know.
It's a wonderful thing.
I'm so glad that it is beingreceived so well in Asia and in
China.
And do you guys have anymemorable experiences or any
advice for anybody who'sthinking of studying or teaching
(55:05):
animal Reiki?
Kenloch (55:09):
So I remember I taught
a full online class with animal
Reiki.
Like, when we stopped practicingI didn't really define the my
student into a breakout roombecause I want to have more
assistance at the very first.
Pamela (55:23):
Sure.
Kenloch (55:24):
Like, when they start
to send Reiki, suddenly, they
didn't really ask that theanimal to come into the room,
but they, when they startsending Reiki, somehow my full
screen is full of animal.
It's all cats and it's all dogs.
It just makes me feel like, oh,it's just lovely.
Isn't it just lovely?
Pamela (55:44):
I've had that as soon as
we start doing the energy
experiences, the animals arescratching at the door and
trying to get in the room, andthey feel it, and they react to
it, don't they?
Yeah.
Yes.
Kenloch (55:58):
One of my, the most
memorable experience.
And then we just feel likereceiving, when we send healing
to the animal, we're alsoreceiving the Reiki energy,
because the Reiki pass throughus to the animal.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Pamela (56:12):
Yeah.
Kenloch (56:13):
Yeah, and it will also
really retrieve our animal
essence as a human.
Pamela (56:20):
Yeah.
Oh, I love that, Kenlock.
Thank you.
How about you, Ting?
Is there anything that standsout or any advice that you would
have for anyone?
Ting (56:27):
I honestly, I don't have
much, but I have class variancy
really, different.
I remember I was taught nine orten people and every, each of
them had different anime.
So when we're showing out thepicture, like this one has bird,
this one has a snack, snake, this one, everyone is different.
And I, I feel oh my god.
(56:50):
we're lucky to have theconnection with different
animals because in our normallife we don't have 10 kinds of
different animals you canreceive in Reiki and Reiki at
the same time.
So we picture everyone, theanimals are different.
That's nice.
Yeah.
Pamela (57:08):
It's like a Noah's Ark
in your Reiki
Ting (57:10):
class.
Pamela (57:11):
Yeah.
That's fantastic.
Now for people who arelistening, who are thinking
about their own regions.
of the world.
And, they might be in Canada orthe United States where there
is, I am the only licensedteacher in Canada, so please, if
you're thinking of becoming alicensed teacher in Canada,
(57:31):
reach out because we'd love tohave more.
But, regardless, for people whoare just thinking of spreading
Reiki, whether they're alicensed teacher, a professional
member, an affiliate member, itdoesn't matter.
Spreading Reiki is, the reallyimportant thing.
So if there are listeners whoare thinking of starting to
teach classes or starting to dosessions or starting to spread
(57:53):
Reiki in some way in their ownregion, what would you tell
them?
What advice would you give them?
And Ken Locke, I'll start withyou.
Kenloch (58:01):
I would really say, be
yourself.
Just be yourself.
Be your authentic self.
Because you are the mostpowerful promotion to the whole
world.
You are the business itself.
The more you maintain yourenergy, and the more that you
take care of yourself, beyourself, you will become like a
(58:21):
really strong magnet that canattract the students that are
aligned with you.
And I also I have students whoalso have the passion they would
like to teach, but they alwaysbeing like a little bit doubtful
to themselves because they feellike they don't have experience
at all.
But then the thing is, if you'renot going to try and you're not
(58:44):
going to have experience, thenyou're not going to teach.
So this is not working at all.
So yeah, I think the first stepis really important because You
don't really have to worryabout, you don't have experience
at all, or then you don't reallyhave enough year of time to to
study Reiki or anything.
(59:04):
Because I think you will alwaysattract the most aligned
student.
If you start to teach in yourearlier stage, you will also,
attract students who need thatfrequency as well.
So yeah, don't worry about that.
And then another worry from mystudents very often is about
(59:25):
social media.
So they feel like their socialmedia is not working.
And then the social media is notgiving them enough exposure and
reach.
And I would say, I think when itcomes to spiritual business, Of
course, social media plays acertain level of important role,
(59:45):
but I don't think it's thatimportant.
I think it's your energyattracting students, yeah, so
it's about having alignment withyourself.
So that to attract people whohave alignment with you as well.
And that's the most importantthing.
Really try not to get as many asas many anxiety from social
(01:00:07):
media.
Transform those emphasis toyourself, like to start to work
on yourself, start to do morehealing on yourself, and then,
yeah, and see what you can offerto the world.
I think that's the mostimportant thing.
Pamela (01:00:23):
That's beautiful.
And, William Rand said that.
And I tell people if you aretrying to think of your ideal
client, it's you when youdiscovered Reiki.
Think about you when Reiki cameinto your life.
Think about the struggles thatyou were having and what Reiki
did for you.
Those are the people that youwant to reach are people that
(01:00:46):
are like you, because so forinstance, in my class, my
classes are full of empaths, because it was the my empathy
that caused health issues forme.
And that I that's really what Ihad to overcome.
My classes are filled withanimal.
Lovers, because I'm an animallover.
And and so you'll draw thepeople that are like you, Ken
(01:01:09):
Locke.
You're right.
So be authentic, be yourself.
And William Rand once said that, the guide, everybody has angels
and guides.
Whether we're aware of them oracknowledge them or not, and
those angels and guides say, Ohmy student Ken Lok, this is
where he is right now, and thisis the challenge that he's
(01:01:30):
facing.
I'm going to drop him into Pam'sclass because she's figured out
how to overcome that challenge.
And so he talked about that, that our guides actually do some
of this maneuvering for us, orI'm going to make her his mentor
because she's had a lot, they'vehad a lot of the same
challenges.
And I think that's reallyunique.
(01:01:55):
And even still social media isgreat, word of mouth is always
still going to be the major.
I'm a marketer, but I don'tspend a lot of money on
marketing because word of mouthis your best source of
information.
Your best bet.
Yeah.
What about you, ting?
What advice would you givepeople?
Ting (01:02:15):
First I agree with you.
Un Kellogg, that Yeah.
Being your authentic self and beyourself.
Yeah.
Because I think just focus onyourself and be what truly you
are and sharing what you trulywanna share and find a way,
because when you become a self, you'll find a way.
What you truly want to shareabout Reiki and everyone is
(01:02:37):
unique.
Everyone is miracle So when youfind yourself that means you
will make miracle in your Reikicareer.
Yeah, so I agree with that Yeah, and for some techniques part, I
was thinking how I explain myReiki business.
First do a lot of practice, teach more and more class,
(01:02:59):
because you can have experiencefrom the class.
Every region, the frequency.
the energy is a little bitdifferent.
So when you teach one more, you'll find it.
And when you find it, you willfind some way to better, to more
suitable for this area.
That's my experience.
Pamela (01:03:19):
Every region is a little
different.
Ting (01:03:20):
Yeah, I was talking with
Kanaka also we found the, even
in China, the mainland and HongKong, the students also, the
energy is a little bitdifferent.
So you need to find a way tosuitable for them.
Yeah.
And work hard.
You need to find, like you said, social media or something, you
need to find a way, because allthe success All the six things
(01:03:45):
should be worked hard.
Pamela (01:03:48):
Yeah, and we do all work
hard, actually.
That is one thing that the threeof us have in common.
We we're very dedicated togetting Reiki out there.
All of us.
We don't mind working hard, dowe?
We sometimes
Kenloch (01:04:02):
work a little bit.
We're really diligent.
You guys are the most diligentReiki people I've met in my
life.
It's
Pamela (01:04:09):
true.
And and to be a licensedteacher, to get through the
thousand hours of training, likeyou do have to be organized, you
have to be diligent and you haveto work on yourself because if
you have any areas of weakness, they come up.
to be healed.
And so we work through that.
So yeah, that's those are these, those are some great pieces of
(01:04:33):
advice, you guys.
Just looking forward what do youtwo see?
for the future of Reiki in HongKong and mainland China and
beyond.
And how do you guys plan to keepcontributing to the growth of
Reiki in these regions and thisbeautiful practice?
(01:04:54):
What are your future plans?
Kenloch (01:04:57):
There's actually lots
of Hong Kong people immigrating
somewhere else, like to, to UK,to Canada, and also Australia.
I think it would be amazing toreally get connected with them,
and then to teach classes in,teach a licensed class in
Cantonese.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's really, that's one ofmy aspirations in future.
(01:05:21):
And then also, really, interested to get in touch with
people in Taiwan because I canspeak Mandarin and I can speak
the dialect, the Taiwanesedialect as well.
I feel like really connected tothe people there.
And then recently I havestudents who like to flew from
(01:05:42):
Taiwan to Hong Kong to take myclass.
And I was like maybe it's asign, it's a sign to start
developing.
So there's also like my futureplan.
And then I'll just see I'll justsend the intention out and see
how the universe and Reiki guideme through the whole process.
Pamela (01:06:01):
Yeah, that's a very good
way to do it.
And what about you Ting?
Ting (01:06:06):
Sprit, okay, I was
thinking something before, but I
forgot.
Sorry, just
Pamela (01:06:11):
looking at your future
plans and what for as Reiki
spreads.
Oh,
Ting (01:06:16):
I want to, yeah I was
talking to Pom because there
have lots of Chinese all there, because all we, focus on the
people all over the world.
Yeah many people.
They are Chinese, but they livein different countries, and
also, we also can focus on some, they don't speak Chinese.
(01:06:37):
Also, it's also, they can be ourstudents.
And I, for the Chinese part,Chinese area, I want to have
more, try my best to have moreand more LRMT, because for
myself, I don't have enoughtime.
And for LRMT.
(01:06:59):
Spirit Reiki, just myself, because I'm just myself.
So if more and more RMT come in,that means more and more people,
they have a channel, they have achoice to know ICRT, know Holy
Fire, Ru Sui, Reiki.
So I want to help him assist, not help him, assist them to
(01:07:23):
become RMT.
Pamela (01:07:25):
Amazing.
If it
Ting (01:07:25):
becomes a profession, then
they can Share Reiki more
profession,
Pamela (01:07:30):
That's my aim is to
bring more licensed teachers and
mine too.
I keep saying I'd like to havemore in Canada, more in China,
more all over the world becauseit is it, there's something
about being part of a Reikifamily, isn't there?
And I don't know about you guys, but when I, became part of the
(01:07:52):
LRMT.
Everybody was so welcoming andthey're such high vibration
people that it just was solovely to become part of that
family.
And I know I want to inviteanybody listening, if you'd like
to become part of our Reiki fromthe farm family, we have a free
monthly online Reiki share.
(01:08:14):
I'd love to have you.
I think you guys, Kenlock andTing, have regular Reiki shares
as well that people couldregister for.
So just go on to our websites.
I know if you sign up for mynewsletter, you'll also get an
invitation the day before theReiki share.
And yeah.
Ting (01:08:33):
I share your website and
podcast on all, each, on my
class.
Oh, is that right?
You too.
Kenloch (01:08:43):
Yeah.
And people are like shocked wow, there's so many podcasts daily.
Pamela (01:08:48):
Yeah, so many.
I have done hundreds of podcastsat this point.
And yeah, it's something that Ijust truly love.
And it's so interesting.
The Reiki Energy guided me andit said, that I was to do weekly
podcasts.
And that was a lot of work youguys to do, get podcasts ready
(01:09:08):
every week.
But That was what the energyencouraged.
So I did it.
And I interviewed so manyinteresting people.
And my belief was that every oneof us has a perspective and
every one of us also has aconnection to God or source.
And so if we can share, if wecan all learn what each other's
(01:09:29):
perspective is, we get a morecomplete picture, a more
complete understanding of sourceor God.
So that was the wholeinspiration.
for the podcast and to alsobring us together as a group as
well.
And to know that we're supportedand that even as you're
listening to this podcast, thereare probably 30 or 40 other
(01:09:54):
people on the planet listeningat the exact same time, or maybe
even more.
And so it's that opportunity to.
be together collectively as agroup and to connect each week.
Recently, when things got busywith politics, the energy said,
okay, you can go back to everytwo weeks now.
(01:10:15):
And I must admit it's it's mucheasier.
And, but I realized that Thereason that I had to do weekly
for over a year for over twoyears, was so that I could get
more comfortable not havingeverything planned out and more
comfortable working on the flybecause I couldn't doing a
(01:10:38):
podcast every week.
I couldn't have everythingcompletely planned out or
scripted and I had to get.
become a more comfortable publicspeaker.
Now that I'm entering intopolitics, that's very useful.
So it's so funny how it allworks out.
Thank you guys for sharing that.
Guys, I'd like to share just ashort meditation now that will
(01:11:02):
help you spread Reiki in yourcorner of the world.
And I know you may be able tostay till the end or you may
not, Ting.
But this is just going to helpyou focus on how you can spread
more Reiki in your part of theworld.
So I'm going to invite everybodyto find a comfortable place
where you won't be disturbed andyou can sit or lie down and
close your eyes.
If you're driving, hit pause.
(01:11:23):
This meditation might go deepand we don't want you to get in
any trouble.
I'm just going to invite you tobring your hands into Gassho
once more.
Take a deep breath in.
Just filling your lungscompletely, and then exhaling,
just letting go of any stress ortension that you might not have
(01:11:44):
been aware of.
Take another deep breath in,just feeling the peace and
tranquility of Reiki, of thismoment in time, our time
together.
And once again, as you exhale, this time exhale any stress or
(01:12:06):
any worries.
Place your hands comfortably onyour body now, and just keep
breathing deeply, comfortably.
Just noticing that with eachbreath you become more relaxed.
(01:12:28):
And I invite you to imagine thata beautiful, warm light of Reiki
surrounds you and this Reikienergy fills you with a sense of
calm and peace.
This light of Reiki is alwaysavailable to you.
(01:12:49):
It's always there to guide andsupport you.
And once again, we say, pleaseguide me and heal me so that I
may be of greater service tomyself and to others.
Now I invite you to imagine thatyou're in a beautiful, serene,
(01:13:13):
natural setting.
I invite you to choose yourfavorite place.
It might be a forest, a meadow, the ocean, wherever you feel the
most connected and at peace.
And this might be someplacesomeplace you go to regularly.
Just imagine that you're there.
(01:13:37):
And as you imagine being in thisbeautiful place, feel the earth
beneath your feet, groundingyou, the sky above, opening you
to infinite possibilities.
And as you stand here, justbring your awareness into your
(01:13:57):
heart.
Feel your heartbeat.
This is the center of your love, your compassion.
It's also the source of yourReiki energy.
All of our Reiki energy movesthrough our heart.
(01:14:20):
Just visualize the Reiki energyas a radiant golden light in
your heart.
And with each breath, noticethat golden light getting
stronger, brighter, movingthroughout your entire body,
(01:14:42):
filling you with warmth and loveand healing.
As you allow this light to grow,I invite you to recognize that
you're a beacon.
of Reiki and that this energy isready to be shared now.
(01:15:08):
And so I invite you to thinkabout your community and the
world around you.
Think about some of the peopleand animals and places that,
that could benefit.
From the healing power of Reiki, just picturing them clearly in
(01:15:28):
your mind and imagine that goldand light of your heart reaching
out and surrounding them.
Then I invite you to askyourself, how can I most
effectively spread more Reiki?
(01:15:50):
in my part of the world.
And just trust the firstthoughts and feelings that come
to you.
These are the messages from yourhigher self.
These are guiding you towardsyour path.
It might be teaching, offeringhealing sessions, it might be
writing about your experiences, creating art or poetry or music,
(01:16:13):
using Reiki through with yourvoice.
like I do each couple of weeks,or simply sharing your Reiki
energy with those around you.
So just ask yourself once more, and we'll stay for a few moments
in silence, so that you can hearthe answers.
(01:16:33):
How can I spread more Reiki inmy community?
And just listen.
(01:18:39):
Just take a moment now to sitwith these insights, and as Ting
suggested, just move intogratitude.
for the guidance you'vereceived, and for the
opportunities that you know areahead of you.
(01:19:00):
Understand that you have thepower and the wisdom to make a
difference and to spread Reiki'slight and love wherever you go.
Whenever you feel ready, Iinvite you to bring your
awareness back to your breath, just noticing the rise and fall
(01:19:21):
of your breath.
The air entering and leavingyour lungs.
You can wiggle your fingers andtoes, slowly open your eyes,
feel the earth beneath you.
Just take one final deep breathin, and as you exhale, if you
haven't already, open your eyes, but bring back with you the
(01:19:47):
clarity and peace of ourmeditation today.
You are a vessel of Reikienergy.
Trust yourself.
Trust in your ability to spreadthis beautiful light in whatever
way works best for you.
And please know that however youdecide to do this, you are
(01:20:08):
making a huge difference in theworld.
Thank you.
Thank you for being here with ustoday.
I want to take a moment to saythank you to Ting and Ken Lok as
well for taking time out oftheir schedules to be here.
We appreciate you.
Namaste.
Ting (01:20:29):
Thank you, Paul.
Kenloch (01:20:31):
Thank you.
Thank you all.
Thank you, Pam.
Thank you, Teng.
Ting (01:20:35):
Thank you, Kellogg.
Pamela (01:20:38):
We're such a great
family.
Love to you all.
