Craig Robertson is the founding CEO of the Victorian Skills Authority and one of Australia’s most influential voices in vocational education reform. With over 30 years of leadership across government roles in school funding, employment services, and vocational education and training, Craig has dedicated his career to modernizing Australia’s skills system. He previously served as CEO of TAFE Directors Australia and now leads transformative efforts to prepare the workforce for the future economy. From tackling outdated training content—where over 5,000 units share 70% of the same material—to driving reforms that align with the demands of clean energy, AI, and emerging industries, Craig’s work is reshaping how Australians earn and learn. He’s also a prominent speaker, with recent keynotes at National Skills Week 2024 and RMIT’s Earn and Learn Industry Forum, cementing his role at the forefront of skills development in Australia.
