We have answered the call to follow Jesus. That call is an invitation to enter the race, which requires endurance and skill.
We must know the rules and the course and be committed to the One who has called us to this journey, to walk, abide in, and complete the race with patience.
Abraham followed God, having faith in the promises God had made to him. The chastening of the Lord is often misunderstood as perfection and preparing us for the things God has planned for us. God is for us. Always. Fear not. Follow Him.
