Speaker 1 (00:04):
I am creating an
energy field for storytelling.
I am creating an energy fieldfor storytelling Aligning my
central channel, taking a deepbreath in Closing any back doors
(00:27):
, side doors, hidden secretdoors.
I'm inviting in the listenerswho are here to resonate with
the stories I have to sharetoday.
I'm asking that my source, connection to all that is bring
(00:53):
through the words, the storiesand the wisdom to support this
group field, inner consciousnessawakening.
Ah, what a delicious cup of tea.
(01:37):
Every morning I drink eithergreen tea or black tea with
cacao and other things.
This morning I've got a greentea with local honey in it.
I can see a spring in your step.
Today I see flowers in the room.
I think today we're going totalk about flower essences and
(01:58):
the power of flowers.
Flower power Any hippies in theroom?
I can see those of you who grewup in the 60s Bell bottoms,
peace sign, leather frilled vest, no shirt underneath, of course
.
Flower power let's seeintroduced to flower essences
(02:22):
through a really strange avenuein Denver, colorado, in about
2014.
I opened up a five elementtheory acupressure practice in a
very unusual building indowntown Denver that was the
home to a business called FiaAlchemy.
(02:42):
The owner had this incrediblejourney through her experience
of using flower essences in aconcentrated essential oil form,
combined in proportions ofsacred geometry in order to
enhance her sport performance asan Olympic skier, and we became
(03:06):
good friends and she taught mea little bit about what she was
up to in her lab and theseproducts that she made.
And she actually had a tinyroom in the back of this
gorgeous building that was hometo hundreds of tiny little vials
of concentrated essences thatshe would combine specifically
(03:31):
for individuals to help themharmonize their energy bodies.
And ever since then Iremembered the curious affinity
that I have for flowers.
I remembered the curiousaffinity that I have for flowers
.
Later in my years in practice,I learned about the Bach flower
essences.
I thought it was pronouncedBach, but it's actually Bach
(03:53):
B-A-C-H and the basis of theseflower essences is that you take
thousands of petals of a flowerand soak them in water in the
sunshine and you distill theminto a concentrated flower
essence solution and then youcombine it with typically brandy
(04:14):
or a little bit of some kind ofalcohol or glycerin to preserve
it for a period of time, depending on what you combine it
with, and you put a few dropsof flower essence solution into
your water or under your tongueseveral times a day.
(04:35):
And these flower essences workprimarily on the
psycho-spiritual aspects, theemotions.
But more than just the emotions, they each have their own story
of a constellation of emotionalpatterns.
I think I'm going to grab mybatch flower book and give you
(04:57):
an example of this.
All right, I grabbed my book.
This is called the Encyclopediaof Batch Flower Therapy by
Mechtild Scheffer.
I apologize if I botched thatname pronunciation, but I'm just
going to open the book towhatever flower is going to
support some people, at least inthis audience today, maybe a
(05:19):
few of you See, if you resonatewith this, I'm just going to
tune into you.
So the flower I came across iscalled Genshin, the bully flower
from doubt to trust For thosewho are easily discouraged.
They may be progressing well inillness or in the affairs of
their daily life, but any smalldelay or hindrance to progress
(05:40):
causes doubt and soondisheartens them.
And then there's like atwo-page summary of all these
different things that could havehappened in childhood or
adulthood and different ways offeeling and circumstantial
things.
But I'm going to skip to theend, where it says the key
symptoms and the behaviorpatterns when someone is in a
(06:03):
block state.
So the key symptoms for gentianare you're easily discouraged,
skeptical, doubting andpessimistic, and the behavior
pattern in the blocked state iseven small setbacks have a
devastating effect.
You're easily discouraged andsimply give up when you meet
unexpected difficulties.
(06:23):
Disappointments cause feelingsof dejection and depression.
You react quickly withskepticism so you won't be
disappointed later.
Even in a situation wherethings turn out all right, you
imagine what could have gonewrong.
You don't understand that thereason for some misfortunes may
(06:44):
be your own lack of confidence, and so on and so forth.
So the positive potential oftaking this flower essence is
that you understand thatresistance and setbacks are
learning steps and you make newattempts with confidence.
You have unshakable faithdespite difficult circumstances,
and you know that everythingwill happen as it's meant to be.
(07:06):
You know that there aresolutions for all problems and
you're able to encourage andbuild confidence in other people
.
The empowering flower powerstatements are I am confident, I
expect the positive, I knoweverything works out right.
So, yeah, flower power.
(07:26):
They have such a high frequencyflowers.
I think it's one of the bestways of lifting the energy of
the space or lifting your mood.
It's just going out gettingsome flowers or picking some
flowers and making a littlebouquet in your kitchen or in
your bedroom.
They have an extremely highfrequency, especially the rose,
(07:49):
the queen of the flower kingdom.
When I tune into the roseenergy, I like to imagine myself
actually sitting inside of arose, and sometimes the bud is
closed and sometimes it's wideopen and I'm just bathing in it.
There are many schools ofenergy alchemy and some mystery
(08:12):
schools that use the frequencyof the rose to alchemize and
transmute energies to supportclearing negative frequencies or
dissolving negative thoughtforms or intentions.
In different traditions, colorsof roses mean different things.
There's a song in Ukrainianabout roses that talks about the
(08:35):
colors and the meanings of thecolors of roses.
So that's my reference pointfor what they mean, because I
grew up with that culture, andin the song it states that the
pink rose is for friendship, thered rose is for love, the
yellow rose is for divorce andthe white rose is for grieving.
(08:57):
I don't know how I feel aboutthe yellow rose being for
divorce, because I love yellow.
I think more about Our LadyGuadalupe and her bouquet of
yellow roses.
To me, yellow roses feels morelike joy and uplifting.
Do you have any associationswith roses or different flowers
(09:17):
in your life that mean thingsfor you.
Do you have a favorite flower?
I'm seeing sunflowers, bluebells, lilies, orchids, the
rose.
Some of you are more intosucculents than you are flowers.
Maybe it depends on where youlive, your climate.
Succulents love to grow in arid, desert-like climates, but of
(09:42):
course we have them all over theplace.
I love succulents, especiallywhen you put them in like a
glass jar or like a littlesucculent village inside of a
pot.
Whatever you call that.
That's the best.
Succulents are very socialplants.
They like to be in community.
If you were a plant or if youwere a flower, what kind of
(10:02):
flower would you be?
What about your beloveds, yourfamily members?
What kind of flowers would theybe?
After listening to this episode,I'm going to give you the
flower power challenge.
To give you the flower powerchallenge In the next so many
(10:23):
days, or maybe a week, if youcould give flowers to someone
you love.
You can pick them outside, youcan buy them at the grocery
store, the flower shop, doesn'tmatter.
Just share some kind of floweror flowers or a plant with
someone you really care about.
That is my challenge to youthis week, and with that I'm
(10:44):
going to close this field.
I'm giving each of you a rosewith whatever color suits you,
with whatever color uplifts yourmood and supports you this week
, and I thank you for tuning in.
Till next time, thank you.
