Episode 122!

Joining me in the studio today is my guest, SSG Aaron Hale. Aaron is a 14-year veteran of both the US Navy, where he was a cook and chef to admirals and dignitaries while he sailed in the Mediterranean, and the US Army, where he was an Explosive Ordinance Demolition tech finding, and diffusing or disposing of enemy bombs before they could harm US or Allied service members.

While deployed in Afghanistan in December of 2011, an explosion of an undetected secondary bomb took Aaron's eyesight, and later his hearing, and plunged his world into darkness, changing his life forever.  Lying in a hospital bed, Aaron only thought of “I can’t”,  until someone came into his room and asked him if he wanted to go for a bike ride!

Aaron started asking “how is this happening FOR me?” and “HOW can I?” instead of asking “WHY is this happening TO me?”, as he recognized that the biggest limitations we have are the limitations we put on ourselves in our minds.

Aaron has since run ultra-marathons, skydived, climbed mountains, got married, had 4 kids, including twins, become an entrepreneur, started businesses and invested in real estate.  He’s also a speaker and a top-rated podcast host of the “Point of Impact Podcast”.

It was an honor to have Aaron spend time sharing how he is now striving to inspire others to make the positive habit shifts that help them realize the success that is within their reach and closer than they imagine.

Tune in and enjoy!
