Oh my god, I've never done that.

TREY GERRALD (00:02):
Because then you don't have to suck your fingers as much.

CHELSEY DONN (00:04):
That's kind of smart.
I would never have even thought that.

CHELSEY DONN (00:37):
Hello

TREY GERRALD (00:39):
Oh, hello, and hello, listeners.
Welcome once again to Review That Review.
You know that we are the podcastthat is dedicated to reviewing.
That is Chelsey

CHELSEY DONN (00:55):
and that is Trey Gerald

TREY GERRALD (00:58):
But together, just call us

VOICEOVER (01:01):
The review queens.

TREY GERRALD (01:04):
Queens.
We have a very exciting announcement.
The month of September, we are going to takeour first ever And the three years of this podcast, our first ever little hiatus break.
So, okay, what does that mean?
That sounds like a really big word.
It sounds really scary.
What we're doing is we're going to use thisopportunity, while Chelsey and Trey in the Time Machine Realtime are working behind the scenes on part two of this announcement.

(01:31):
You won't really notice a difference.
That's very important to both of us.
So, for the next couple of weeks, you're goingto be getting hand selected for fan favorite episodes that maybe you have not listened to since it first aired three years ago.

CHELSEY DONN (01:44):
or maybe you started listening to the show less than three years ago so you don't even know about these gems that exist in the early days.

TREY GERRALD (01:52):
Exactly, that's a really good point, because sometimes it's like you join a show later, because your friend recommended it, and then you just get lost.
So we're going to highlightsome of those favorites.
Some of these that we have picked are liketurning points in the show, where something unlocked for us that sort of, you know, Had a ripple effect for the remainder of the show, which segues to the next part of this, because while we are on hiatus, Chelsey and I are working behind the scenes to come back in a more powerful, dynamic, exciting way.

(02:23):
We're going to have ratchetedeverything up like 18 points.
We're really excited for thenext chapter, we're calling it.
So, a little mini break, and then we'll return.

CHELSEY DONN (02:32):
That's right.
And also, while we're on break, a littlething you could do that could greatly help us with this next chapter would be please share the podcast with your friends.
We also would love if you would leaveus a five star review on Apple Podcasts.
We don't ask you guys to do this a lot, but rightnow, if you're sitting on it, if you were thinking about it, if you were waiting, now is the time.

(02:55):
We really need your support in order for Treyand I to bring this show to the next level to give you guys even more of hopefully what you're going to love to evolve the show into something that is even greater than it is right now.
So if you could please just take the time to leaveus a five star review, share the podcast with your friends, it would really mean the world to us.

TREY GERRALD (03:14):
Well, wait, we'll wait right now.
Go ahead and do it right

CHELSEY DONN (03:17):
Oh yeah, oh wait,

TREY GERRALD (03:19):
We sort of realized since we are a show that reviews reviews, it was sort of obnoxious to constantly be like, leave us a review.

CHELSEY DONN (03:26):
right.

TREY GERRALD (03:26):
if you don't know, the only way the podcasts grow in the algorithm is when people share it or when someone leaves a review.
So just share it.
Just text the link to your friend right now.
Do it.
It'll help.
Thank you.

CHELSEY DONN (03:40):
Thank you.
Thank you.

TREY GERRALD (03:41):
Well, in the spirit of that, Chelsey, should we jump into an online review?

CHELSEY DONN (03:46):
Oh my God.
Let's do it.

VOICEOVER (03:51):
Review that review.

CHELSEY DONN (03:55):
As your trusty Review Queens, we bring in reviews from the internet that we feel need to be inspected.

TREY GERRALD (04:01):
We read you a review, we break it down, and rate the impact of that review on a scale from zero to five crowns.
It's a really regal process that we call.

VOICEOVER (04:10):
Assess that keve.

CHELSEY DONN (04:12):
That's right.

TREY GERRALD (04:13):
And Chelsey, with this whole conversation around breaks, what could you possibly have sourced for us today?

CHELSEY DONN (04:19):
I don't know, Trey, give me a break.

VOICEOVER (04:22):
a break.
Gimme a break.
Break me off a,
gimme a break.
Break me off a piece of that kitbar that make go the A break.
Give me a break, break me off a pieceof that, break me off a piece of that, break me off a piece of that Kit Kat

CHELSEY DONN (04:47):
That's right.
Do you remember the commercialthat was like 90s all the rage?

TREY GERRALD (04:53):
Wait, I totally remember the theme song, like, so hardcore, and they don't even use it anymore!
It's not, like, their slogan.
Exactly!

CHELSEY DONN (05:01):
bar you can share.
Give it a break.
Break for me, break for you.
I do love a Kit Kat.

TREY GERRALD (05:07):
Kakana's definitely one of my favorites.

CHELSEY DONN (05:09):
So, I wanted to delve into Gimme a Break territory, but I was thinking in the spirit of delving into a new chapter of the show,
a lot of you have been talkingto me about these TikTok reviews.
And how there's all these kids out there on TikTokthat are really dedicating their time to reviewing products and I thought what a missed opportunity Trey and I don't really delve into that so much so I looked for some KitKat reviews And I did find this particular review on TikTok by a user named

(05:49):
jshock9, the number 9, and then 9 written out,jshock99, and then they also just kind of go by jshock, they're pretty popular, they have 93.
8 thousand followers, and 1.
4 million likes,
in their profile, they say let's go mucking,Trey, do you know what mucking means?,

TREY GERRALD (06:11):
Like mukbang?

CHELSEY DONN (06:13):
Oh my god, do you know about mukbang?

TREY GERRALD (06:15):
Oh, I definitely know about mukbang.

CHELSEY DONN (06:17):
Okay, do you want to tell our listeners?
Because I literally had to look it up on
Urban
Dictionary.

TREY GERRALD (06:22):
Well, okay, I know, I know that it originated in an Asian country

CHELSEY DONN (06:26):
Korea.

TREY GERRALD (06:28):
like watching people eat food.
I know about it and it's distilled, Iguess, appropriated form by Trisha Paytas,

CHELSEY DONN (06:36):
Okay.

TREY GERRALD (06:37):
who like will go to like McDonald's and do a mukbang.
Is that right?

CHELSEY DONN (06:40):
Yeah, so it's like, it's gluttonous, overindulgence, It is something that originated in Korea, It's a mixed term, Mukja for eating, Bangsong for broadcasting.

TREY GERRALD (06:53):
Ah,

CHELSEY DONN (06:55):
So that's part of J Shock's whole brand, they have a ton of videos of them just eating various foods, fast foods, candies, all kinds of things, and talking about it, so I thought, why not go to the expert, right?
In this particular review, J Shockisn't reviewing any ordinary, regular, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious in oneself, Avacodo, not cool!

(07:18):
KitKat, they're actually reviewing the
KitKat Chocolate Frosted Donut Wafer Candy Bars.
Okay, we're gonna play thisreview for you to listen to.

TREY GERRALD (07:29):
the

VOICEOVER (07:31):
flavor.
Chocolate Frosted Donut.

TREY GERRALD (07:34):
video.

VOICEOVER (07:36):
it's currently ChocoClock.
And it's time to review this.
I've had this sitting in myfridge for a couple weeks now.
Thank you to my brother,Christian, for giving this to me.
Oh my god, it smells so good, guys.
I don't think it smells like adonut, but it does smell damn good.
I got the king size too.
So I wanna do this right, I wanna break it off.

(08:01):
Look at this.
Good God.
Alright, here we go.

CHELSEY DONN (08:17):
Hear that crunch.

VOICEOVER (08:19):
ShockSquad, believe me, this tastes, if not better, but EXACTLY like a chocolate donut.
What the frick?
If you go to Dunkin Donuts, it'lltaste like this, but better.
If you go to Krispy Kreme Donuts,it'll taste like this, but better.
Why not make a KitKat donut?

(08:46):
I'm in heaven.
I'm not even a big sweets guy, but I am in heaven.
Buy it.
Please.
Tell them Shock sent you.
Easy 8.
4 out of 9.
Easily.
Easily.
Guys, come a bit closer.
You guys might be wondering, Yo, G Shock,I see a lightning bolt on your shirt.

(09:06):
Is that your new merch?
It is.
It is one of the shirts I will be releasing.
So, this is a little sneak peek, little mini reveal, but this is sick.
This is my merch.
Shout out to, um, Struck out for collab with meon it and, and making it my vision come to life.
These will be coming out verysoon, within the next week.

(09:28):
I'm gonna try to have them come out withinthat time, but make sure you're following me.
If you want to get one of these.
They're very limited.
I'm going to be doing a wholeseparate video for them.
My guys, Jay Shock is here to stayforever, clock anytime of the day.
Anytime of the day.
So without further ado, I'm gonnahit you with that shock out.

(09:50):
Lemme know what you wanna see in the next one.
Yes, shock out.

CHELSEY DONN (09:56):
Shock out any time of day, any time of day, boys.

TREY GERRALD (09:59):
Wow, shock o'clock.

CHELSEY DONN (10:02):
o'clock,

TREY GERRALD (10:04):
Well, I'm very struck by the catchphrases, which, like,

CHELSEY DONN (10:09):
a
catchphrase.
Shout

TREY GERRALD (10:11):
Shock o'clock, shock out, shock cincha, shock merch,

CHELSEY DONN (10:15):
out to my brother, Christian.

TREY GERRALD (10:17):
brother, yeah, I caught that.

CHELSEY DONN (10:18):
Yep,
What the
frick, what the frick?
Very endearing.

TREY GERRALD (10:23):
He sounds like he's, like, from Jersey.
the frick?

CHELSEY DONN (10:27):
the frick?

TREY GERRALD (10:27):
or like the Bronx.
Okay, so, we did actually get anumeric rating here, he says, 8.
4

CHELSEY DONN (10:34):
Out of nine?

TREY GERRALD (10:36):
Easily,

CHELSEY DONN (10:36):
Easily, but also how arbitrary?
Why out of nine?

TREY GERRALD (10:41):
well that's what I wanted to say,

CHELSEY DONN (10:43):
Out of nine?

TREY GERRALD (10:44):
the rating system 9,

CHELSEY DONN (10:45):
is it?

TREY GERRALD (10:46):
4, like why was it not 3,

CHELSEY DONN (10:48):
Or
point five?
I mean, I wonder, like, what ittakes to have a J Shock 9 out of 9,

TREY GERRALD (10:55):
do you think it's always 9?

CHELSEY DONN (10:57):
I don't know,

TREY GERRALD (10:59):
there's an earlier video where J Shock explains.

CHELSEY DONN (11:01):
maybe, maybe, but they're in heaven, they loved it,

TREY GERRALD (11:05):
I understand that I, uh, I'm a little bizarro.
Like I like vanilla ice cream.

CHELSEY DONN (11:11):
mhm,

TREY GERRALD (11:11):
get a cheeseburger, I want a cheeseburger.

CHELSEY DONN (11:14):
sure,

TREY GERRALD (11:15):
Texas rodeo barbecue jalapeno burger.
Like if it's too many things, it, I, itdoesn't taste like the thing anymore.
I like my coffee black.
So any of these artificialflavors really tripped me

CHELSEY DONN (11:27):
mhm,

TREY GERRALD (11:28):
just instantly think KitKat.
is so distinctive and good.
I don't need a different flavor.

CHELSEY DONN (11:34):
right,

TREY GERRALD (11:35):
And I think that that's a fear.
I guess it's coming

CHELSEY DONN (11:37):
Have you ever had, like, a strawberry ones or the matcha ones, or the chocolate matcha,

TREY GERRALD (11:43):
I've seen the pink ones, but you know, this makes me think of that candy Pocky.

CHELSEY DONN (11:48):
yes, I love Pocky,

TREY GERRALD (11:50):
I love Pocky.

CHELSEY DONN (11:51):
so good,

TREY GERRALD (11:52):
that's a, is that a pretzel?
Or is that a wafer?
That's

CHELSEY DONN (11:54):
I think it's,
I think it's like, yeah, it's likehalfway between a wafer and a pretzel.
It feels kind of, I understand, it'snot a full pretzel, but it is sort of like a pretzel stick, but a wafer stick.

TREY GERRALD (12:04):
and those that are dipped, I'll tell you, I prefer the chocolate over the strawberry

CHELSEY DONN (12:08):
Okay,
yeah, I like the chocolate with the almond, but I hear you, like, I'm a little bit of a purist as well, like, already, We know as we get older, our preferences for chocolate, I think, sort of change, like, when I was a kid, It was, like, Kit Kat Snickers was the top of the line, now that I'm, like, a little bit older, I like a little more high quality, so I think that if I'm gonna eat some of this, like, More Halloween esque candy, I would rather have the nostalgic feeling than a new chocolate donut feeling, you know what I mean?

(12:41):
I am a little suspicious.

TREY GERRALD (12:43):
but I was also struck because J Shock is like, he like, tastes it, and he's instantly like, oh, this is really good,

CHELSEY DONN (12:50):
Right.

TREY GERRALD (12:50):
like a Jessica Donut, because even when we did the Thanksgiving, like the soda,

CHELSEY DONN (12:54):
Yeah,

TREY GERRALD (12:55):
like that is so far removed from a drink,

CHELSEY DONN (12:58):
right.

TREY GERRALD (12:59):
like, there's no way this won't be artificial, But this is just like, it's a chocolate, it's candy, that they're making taste like,

CHELSEY DONN (13:06):
Sure.
Sure.

TREY GERRALD (13:07):
how the threshold is closer,

CHELSEY DONN (13:09):
Yes.

TREY GERRALD (13:10):
but after watching this, I think I would give it a try before.
I'm sort of like, don't mess with a good thing.
But now I'm sort of like, well, I would stillbuy an original, but I would maybe alternate.

CHELSEY DONN (13:20):
definitely something to say about seeing someone eat something.
First of all, mad, like, shout out to J Shockfor doing it right, breaking it off, do it right.
I love that.
He gave it a break and there'ssomething to be said for seeing someone consume something on the internet.
It's not just somebody that'swritten something down.
Like, we're watching him eat it.

(13:40):
He's obviously liking it.
He's not spitting it out.

TREY GERRALD (13:44):
Correct.
I will say, since we're reviewing it,

CHELSEY DONN (13:47):
Yeah,

TREY GERRALD (13:48):
feel like there could be a few more descriptives.
I think when it's written, you have to be more

CHELSEY DONN (13:52):
okay, fair.

TREY GERRALD (13:53):
to make up for the natural presentation of just visually

CHELSEY DONN (13:58):
not getting the moans.

TREY GERRALD (14:00):
We're not getting, like, the impact

CHELSEY DONN (14:02):
Right.

TREY GERRALD (14:03):
receptors.

CHELSEY DONN (14:04):
Yes.

TREY GERRALD (14:05):
He just says it tastes like a donut and that it's really good and he eats

CHELSEY DONN (14:07):
Right.

TREY GERRALD (14:08):
it which is satisfying it's a KitKat so I don't know how like detailed I need it to be but I just have to point out one of the queenliest moves here did you catch the J Shock said that it has been in the fridge for a few days?

CHELSEY DONN (14:20):
I did not.

TREY GERRALD (14:21):
Right at the tippy top.

CHELSEY DONN (14:23):
Oh, you're right.

TREY GERRALD (14:24):
Ooh, changes the game for me.
That's also why when he snaps it, like a

CHELSEY DONN (14:29):
Oh, it gets a little more snap.

TREY GERRALD (14:31):
comes off.
Right.
Also, when you eat a KitKat, do you break them all?
Or do you just break one

CHELSEY DONN (14:38):
One at a time.

TREY GERRALD (14:39):
Oh, I break them all.

CHELSEY DONN (14:40):
them all.
Okay.

TREY GERRALD (14:42):
satisfying about snapping it when it's still inside the package that gives me a thrill.

CHELSEY DONN (14:46):
You break it inside the package?

TREY GERRALD (14:49):
I feel for the like,

CHELSEY DONN (14:50):
The indentation?
Oh my god.
I've never done that.

TREY GERRALD (14:54):
because then you don't have to suck your fingers as much.

CHELSEY DONN (14:56):
That's kind of smart.
I would never have even thought that.
What do we think about the, it's interestingbecause normally in a written review, I would really ding someone for the merch like selling.
This is a visual forum.
So and he has a communityand he's wearing this shirt.
So how do we feel about deviatingfrom the subject matter?

TREY GERRALD (15:20):
I mean, I was a little, like, side eye y about it as well,

CHELSEY DONN (15:23):
Yeah,

TREY GERRALD (15:24):
if you're looking at the statistical ratio of how much of the video is the content that the title says it is,

CHELSEY DONN (15:31):
right.

TREY GERRALD (15:31):
you hawking your wares,

CHELSEY DONN (15:33):
Yes.

TREY GERRALD (15:34):
like they went on a little

CHELSEY DONN (15:35):
Tangent.

TREY GERRALD (15:36):
about the, about the shirt, like, I think it would have been cuter to end with, Oh, did you see the shirt?
Get ready, it's coming soon,

CHELSEY DONN (15:43):
Right, or like, you know what, I was sort of wanting, I was just wanting one moment of back to the Kit Kat, like, blah, blah, blah, merch, here's the thing, thanks, shout out to my boy, blah, blah, blah, like, you'll be able to buy it, also, gotta reiterate, get this Kit Kat bar, get it while you can, because you don't know, flavors come and go, and you want to buy this one before it's off the shelves, you know, tell me what you want me to review next, something about just like bringing it back

(16:10):
would have been satisfying, I think,

TREY GERRALD (16:13):
that too.
Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN (16:14):
I think for spelling and grammar, we could talk about the use of language, like, what the frick?
I sort of enjoyed their vernacularor their, their way of speaking.

TREY GERRALD (16:25):
Yeah, it's personality driven, so that's

CHELSEY DONN (16:28):
Yeah,

TREY GERRALD (16:29):
Like, I would want to see other reviews from J

CHELSEY DONN (16:32):
yeah, J Shock based off of like, oh, they have kind of a cool way of speaking,
Truthful Shady,

TREY GERRALD (16:38):
I think he's, I think they're being truthful.

CHELSEY DONN (16:40):
I think it's truthful, I think it's really hard to fake being truthful in a video, which is sort of refreshing,

TREY GERRALD (16:46):
Yeah, that's

CHELSEY DONN (16:47):
now this is a big question mark for me is, you know, is this common or typical,

TREY GERRALD (16:53):
See, and that's where I feel like a little more info, but I'm just coming at this video for the video, not knowing J Shock's normal appetite or normal palate of taste.

CHELSEY DONN (17:04):
true.
It's interesting that they saythey're not a big sweets guy, but they definitely review a lot of sweets.

TREY GERRALD (17:09):
So there you

CHELSEY DONN (17:10):
Yeah, I, I feel like this would be a somewhat divisive product.

TREY GERRALD (17:15):
you mess with an original it's going to be divisive, but as I said before, it's like a small margin of error here,

CHELSEY DONN (17:21):
right.

TREY GERRALD (17:22):
making chocolate taste like

CHELSEY DONN (17:23):
Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate.
Yeah, I was,
I was entertained.
I was humored.
I like the personality of J Shock.
And also at Impact, would I tryit based off of J Shock's review?

TREY GERRALD (17:37):
I mean, I want

CHELSEY DONN (17:37):
I think that if I was at a store and I saw it at checkout, I might be compelled to impulse buy.

TREY GERRALD (17:45):
Interesting, because I think I would never

CHELSEY DONN (17:48):
Really?

TREY GERRALD (17:49):
No, I would be like, where's the real one?

CHELSEY DONN (17:51):
Like, where's the donut?
Or where's the,
like, I'll take a, I'll take a real Kit Katand I'll take a regular chocolate glazed donut.

TREY GERRALD (17:58):
If I saw this KitKat, would be like, where's the real one?

CHELSEY DONN (18:02):
Interesting.

TREY GERRALD (18:03):
if I'm gonna pay the, what are KitKats now?
5, 4, like the sensation of

CHELSEY DONN (18:09):
this was a king size.
Yeah.

TREY GERRALD (18:11):
size.
I always do king or share

CHELSEY DONN (18:13):
I mean, yes.

TREY GERRALD (18:15):
I mean, hello, but I wouldn't leave any variable of error.
I would just go for what I know.
So, but that's how we're

CHELSEY DONN (18:23):
Like there's not even an air of curiosity from seeing J Shock eat it.
That if you happened upon this product, you mightbe like, I wonder if I feel how J Shock feels.

TREY GERRALD (18:32):
Well, no, after watching J Shock, I want to taste it, but having seen that it existed before, it was a passing glance.

CHELSEY DONN (18:40):
I think that that's impactful because like, like I agree before watching this review, I'd be like, I could take it and leave it after watching it now.
Like, I'm sort of curious.
I think if I saw it, I might belike, do I feel like J shock feels,
um, So I do think that there's an impact there.
I think I could probably crown J Shock.

(19:00):
Okay, let's crown him.

TREY GERRALD (19:01):
Alright, so, Chelsey and I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards.
In an effort to be fair and not influenced by oneanother, we will simultaneously reveal our rating.

VOICEOVER (19:11):
The queens are tabulating
school,

CHELSEY DONN (19:19):
Okay, interesting.
I'm holding up four and a half crowns, Trey, you're holding up three and a half crowns.
Why did you go with three and a half for J Shock?

TREY GERRALD (19:26):
Well, I'm just trying to, like, do I think that this is a really valuable review?
I don't.
I don't think there's enough really there, but I think because it's a TikTok account where it's really personality driven, it's also why the merch pushing doesn't bother me.
It's sort of like, They have so many followersand so many likes so it's obviously working and people are resonating and sometimes with the personality based it's more about the whole collection of like the doom scrolling

CHELSEY DONN (19:52):
I

TREY GERRALD (19:52):
is about the actual product.
I do feel like I could Get moreuseful information somewhere else.
But because it's personality and it's aTikTok and this young kid has created a brand, like that's all really awesome.
So ultimately at the end of the day, like I wouldprobably subscribe and I now want to taste it.
So three and a half, it's like, good job.

(20:13):
Why did you do a whole crownmore at four and a half?

CHELSEY DONN (20:16):
really like J Shock.
There's something so Super endearing about them.
I can see why they have so many followers.
I can see why people want to follow them.
It's the right, um, I guess, pun intended, bite size amount of review for this platform.
And so I think in terms of considering thisreview, where it lies, my I think it's a four and a half and mostly I think what convinced me and put me over the edge was that conversation we circle back to at the end of Impact.

(20:43):
I really don't think I would have consideredeating this product, but after watching J Shock eat it live on the air, I'm a little curious to know if I would feel the same way.
So for that Impact, I guess that waswhat really pushed it over the edge for me and that's why I gave J Shock 4.
5 crowns because I thought almost a review queen.

(21:05):
I really, really like them.

TREY GERRALD (21:06):
I mean, I, I would

CHELSEY DONN (21:08):
Yeah, I would follow.
I'm gonna follow.

TREY GERRALD (21:09):
Well, great job.
Great.
Find.

CHELSEY DONN (21:11):
Thank you.
All right, Trey.
So I just want you to sort of guess here because Idid do a little bit more research for this review.
Do you have any idea?
Because there is a little bit of a consensus.
I looked on Hershey.
com, Walmart.
com and Amazon to see what theoverall is for this product.

(21:34):
Any guesses?

TREY GERRALD (21:36):
This specific

CHELSEY DONN (21:37):
specific, yes, KitKat chocolate frosted donut wafer, candy bars,

TREY GERRALD (21:43):
I'm wondering if it's going to have a higher rating on Hershey because if you're going to Hershey.
com, you're a real enthusiast

CHELSEY DONN (21:49):
mm hmm,

TREY GERRALD (21:50):
if it would have the opposite impact where they're more like me, where they're like, I like Hershey, stop reinventing the

CHELSEY DONN (21:57):
mm hmm,

TREY GERRALD (21:58):
versus Amazon.
I feel like Amazon's probably the lowest Walmart.
I think Amazon's probably the lowest.
And then I think Walmart isprobably middle of the road.
I feel like you're shopping morein person at Walmart than online.
So like you might be moreadventurous cause you're in your car.
I think the Hershey peopleare going to be into it.
I think it's going to havethe highest rating on Hershey.

(22:19):
I think Hershey is going to be 4.
5.
Walmart's to be 3.
1.
And Amazon, I think is going to be like 2.
9.

CHELSEY DONN (22:29):
Okay, pretty, pretty close.
It was the Hershey site was thetop, but it still is only a 3.
9.
Then beneath that was Amazon at a 3.
7,
and then at the bottom was Walmart with a 3.

(22:50):
3.
And I wanted to quickly just read a couple ofreviews, just to see if it changes our opinion, so on Hershey, we have a two star review from Jax23 that says, Meh, these tastes and smell like candle wax, that's it, I have nothing else to say,

TREY GERRALD (23:09):
Hmm.

CHELSEY DONN (23:10):
I kind of can believe that.
On Walmart, uh, written by Wendy G., Flavor isdisgraceful, One Star, I used to clean houses for a living, I gagged when I first tasted this Kit Kat chocolate frosted donut last evening, The flavor is that smell which hits you in the face as you open a refrigerator that's been cleaned out but it's sat in an empty house or apartment unopened and off for weeks, I threw it away, it was a waste of two dollars.

(23:40):
I mean, that's such a specificsmell, but also, like, what?
Like, it's interesting to be like, itsmelled like a fridge that was cleaned out,
so it's not dirty, but then it sat?
What does that mean?
I don't know.
I don't know that I know that smell, but I think it's interesting that Wendy was like, I clean houses for a living, I know exactly what this is, and then on Amazon, One Star Review, written by E.,

(24:03):
tastes artificial and not close to as described, these taste terrible, as soon as it hit my teeth, they hurt, too sweet, and artificial tasting, doesn't remind me of a donut at all, tastes sort of like butterscotch flavor, but not in a good way, So, not everybody agrees with J Shock.

TREY GERRALD (24:22):
That's really interesting though.
But, but J Shock is just like, this is good.
I like it.
It tastes like a

CHELSEY DONN (24:27):
Yeah,

TREY GERRALD (24:28):
Buy my merch.
These people are like, Idon't like it, this is why.
is interesting.

CHELSEY DONN (24:34):
Yeah,

TREY GERRALD (24:35):
there's more need to defend yourself when you're writing versus You're watching me enjoy it, so I'm enjoying it.

CHELSEY DONN (24:41):
I think so.
I felt that way even whenlike we've done live reviews
of products.
Yeah, I want to talk through but I also wantto be like, playing with the shake weight.
You know what I mean?

TREY GERRALD (24:53):
Well, it is also that thing where it's like every morning show, where like they're cooking, it's like,
This sauteed cabbage.

CHELSEY DONN (25:04):
I know.
I know.
I mean, like J Shock's notgetting any kick back for

TREY GERRALD (25:11):
he?

CHELSEY DONN (25:12):
how he's not, there's a link in bio to buy
this Kit Kat.
So I think that they're just doing it.
I think it's just like anything else, right?
Like,

TREY GERRALD (25:21):
think it's like, let me just review this.
It's

CHELSEY DONN (25:23):
yeah.
And also like some people are goingto like it and some people aren't like the complaint about it being too sweet.
Well, it's going to be too sweet forsome and not too sweet for others.
The candle thing I totally getbecause I think that that is why I'm a little bit more of a purist because I
I think once you start putting allthose like extra flavors in there, it does almost feel candle like.

TREY GERRALD (25:47):
I mean, yeah.

CHELSEY DONN (25:48):
All right, Queen.
Well, we've done it.
We've reached the most regal portion of our show.
Who are you inducting Trey for?
Yes.

VOICEOVER (25:56):
my Royal Highness.

TREY GERRALD (25:58):
Okay, I'm gonna try to verbalize what this sensation is, but today I really have to induct this thing that occurs.
So it can be like at work with coworkers, itcan be like with a friend or someone in a group setting, it can literally be with a stranger when you're like in line paying for your gas, or if you're like at the grocery store.
I want to induct that darting eye of knowingness.

(26:24):
with other people.
Like, so it, it, it can happen in anyscenario, but like, if you're at work and someone's being cuckoo, like if you just catch eyes with someone else in the space and you know exactly what they're thinking, or you can just telepathically communicate, like, bitch, we got to talk about this later.

(26:46):
It used to happen in the subway, like when someone would be a little out of pocket and you would just.
and catch eyes with someone elsewho is like stuck in this tube

CHELSEY DONN (26:59):
Mmm.

TREY GERRALD (26:59):
and you just make this second of connection.

CHELSEY DONN (27:03):
Haha.

TREY GERRALD (27:03):
It's like you're breaking the fourth wall.
You just step outside of what'shappening and it's like, bitch.
That it's so like, it's like instantlylike connecting and grounding, but it's also so I the word I want to say is cunty.
It's like so delicious to just sort of be like.
Okay, we see what's happening, right?
Because it's like breaking like the socialconstruct of behavior that you have to conform

CHELSEY DONN (27:26):
Mmm.

TREY GERRALD (27:27):
just sort of be like, I know this bitch is crazy, right?

CHELSEY DONN (27:29):
Right?
Mmm.

TREY GERRALD (27:31):
It feels like so affirming.
I think I verbalized it how I want to, butso for that reason, just that knowing glance, where you're like on the same page with someone and it may not be like the page you're supposed to be on that sensation i'm inducting

CHELSEY DONN (27:48):
Yes.

TREY GERRALD (27:49):
that is my royal highness

CHELSEY DONN (27:52):
I love that.
I love that you've been going so metawith these royal highneesses lately, Trey, I really appreciate them.
I love that too.
And I love like, when you can doit in a way that is so subtle.
Right?
Like, so it's not going tonecessarily offend the person.
The person that is like behaving inthe activity is not going to cock it.
It needs to be done like subtle, likeit's barely a movement of the eye.

(28:16):
It's just like, like you said, almost a telepathic exchange.
I do love that.

TREY GERRALD (28:22):
reminds me of, like, doing community theater as a kid, and, like, if something went wrong, and you would just make eyes with, like, another ensemble member, like, a whole dialogue would be happening silently.
Like, I think

CHELSEY DONN (28:34):
Totally.

TREY GERRALD (28:35):
of that as an adult, where I'm like, okay, well,

CHELSEY DONN (28:40):
agree.
I love that.
What a great induction.

TREY GERRALD (28:44):
you.
Well, we did a queen.
That is another round on theRUARQ Ferris wheel of RUARQ.
8.4 out of nine easily.

CHELSEY DONN (28:54):

Easily 8.

TREY GERRALD (29:37):
review for Blue Buffalo Wilderness High Protein Grain Free Natural Adult Wet Cat Food Variety Pack

VOICEOVER (29:50):
It's super color, fragile.

CHELSEY DONN (29:54):
Well, that's left me wondering why, why, why this was said.

TREY GERRALD (30:01):
I wonder what Sarah McLachlan thinks about that song, her song being co opted like that, because I really think of it

CHELSEY DONN (30:07):
But she, but she was in the ad.
She was like, I'm Sarah McLaughlin, and like, this is what, so I think that she must be passionate about the cause.
There's something about the word pate.
I don't know.

TREY GERRALD (30:22):
oh, pΓ’tΓ©, it makes me think of Grey

CHELSEY DONN (30:24):
Yeah, it's exactly.

TREY GERRALD (30:26):
left me wondering as well, yeah.
