Where should you start when planning your dream wedding? Listen to this for the piece that most couples miss.
I sit down with Melissa Twist from Melissa Twist Events to kick off our wedding planning series. We get started with the challenges that we see couples running into and the importance of defining your priorities.
If you find yourself planning a wedding, the absolute first thing you need to do is to sit down with your partner and discuss your must-haves and must-dos for your wedding. This needs to happen first. It should happen before choosing your wedding date, venue, photographer, DJ... You need to know what your goals are before you can choose a budget. And before your family starts giving their two cents, you need to know what is most important to you.
Melissa Twist is an expert in events and wedding styling, boasting over 20 years of combined work and educational experience. Her extensive background has honed her creativity, allowing her to infuse each event she organizes with a unique flair. When not immersed in work, Melissa can be found meticulously planning her next adventure. With travels spanning six continents, she has cultivated a deep passion for exploration that remains an integral part of her life, promising to never cease her globetrotting pursuits.
