In this weeks episode Vonia covers the dark and twisty thanksgiving Rom Com(ish) film House of Yes. This 1997 gem stars an absolutely fabulous Parker Posey as Jackie O, the mentally unstable twin sister of Marty who is bringing his fiancée, Leslie (Tori Spelling), home for thanksgiving to meet his family. A raging storm cuts the power and as the night goes on this families dark secrets slowly start to reveal themselves to Leslie. Let’s just say the movie ends with Leslie running screaming from the family home.   Then Averyn shares the true story of Alex Murdaugh and his family. The Murdaugh’s were a wealthy, powerful family in Hampton County, South Carolina. For nearly a century the Murdaugh men were the law in their town, seemingly feared and respected by the community, until a shocking double murder in the summer of 2021. On June 7th 2021 Maggie and Paul Murdaugh, wife and son of Alex Murdaugh were found executed in the family’s hunting lodge.
