Welcome to episode 98. After a long, extended hiatus, the podcast is back!

Have you ever gone through something and wondered when it would end? Have you ever felt as if you were in that season of your life, believing for your breakthrough, and you became weary? Or perhaps you began to settle in the place of transition.

The children of Israel stayed in a season longer than expected because they could not discern God's plan. They began to complain because the discomfort was more than they perhaps thought they should endure. Their complaining kept them outside the promise.

As we journey through life, it will require us to have faith and to believe that what God started in us, He will complete it. As we journey through, we need to learn to keep moving forward and not remain in a place we are to walk through. Our hope has to be in the One who knows the way we should take.

We will make it to our destination as we lean not to our own understanding, and continue to speak life as we keep moving and trusting God.

Have a testimony? Share it with us. Did you give your life to Christ. Let us know, share of your good news!

Speaker 00 (00:05):
Hey everyone, it's Authisa and welcome to Sapphire
Daily Prayer and MeditationPodcast where I bring you a
boost of encouragement using thepower of prayer and the word of
God.
Let's get into it.
Let's see what the Lord has forus today.
Hey everyone, welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome in the room.
It is so glad to finally beback.

(00:29):
It has been a long and yetextended sabbatical, one that
wasn't planned.
But nevertheless, when the wordof God says that all things
work together for the good tothose who love him and are
called according to his purpose, that's exactly what he means.
So I am grateful.
I am so glad to be back.
I am so glad to be found doingwhat he's called me to do.

(00:51):
I am excited to be back.
Thank you for everyone thatlistened.
Thank you for everyone thatcontinues to listen.
Thank you.
just for still supporting whatGod calls his servants to do.
So if you are working in thevineyard of the Lord, I pray
strength to you and I prayencouragement even in tough

(01:15):
times or what seems like toughtimes, but it's all working, not
just together, but it's workinga far more exceeding glory for
God's purpose to be seen, forhis, I don't want to say
program, but for for what he hasalready predetermined for us to
do in the earth.
So I pray, I just pray strengthto wherever it is God has

(01:38):
called you to do.
So yes, I am, like I said, soglad to be back.
I didn't plan on being gone.
I didn't plan on being gone aslong as I was, but because this
was not my design to do, it washis design for me to get back in
the chair.
So I can say the one thingthat, that I learned during this

(02:00):
time away, that everything is aprocess.
Everything that we go through, good, bad, or indifferent, that
it is a process.
Whether you're getting married,there's a process.
Going back to school, startingschool, your kids getting ready
for school, that is a process.
Deciding to have children, thatis a process.

(02:23):
Moving, that process.
Definitely is a process, right?
Unbecoming in the kingdom ofGod.
There is a process even in thatas well.
Even though we come to God aswe are, there is a process for
those of us who are in thekingdom.
Those of us who are desiring tolook more and more like him.

(02:47):
There is a process, right?
We do come to God just as weare, flawed and all, hiccups,
everything.
And God understands that.
And that's the one thing or Ishould say one tactic that the
enemy uses for some people thatthey feel that they have to get
it together to come to God.

(03:07):
Truth be told, none of us.
I don't care who you are.
I don't care how sanctified youbelieve you are.
None of us can get it togetherenough to come to God.
Come to me.
That's all he simply says isjust simply come.
So he accepts our flaws.

(03:29):
He accepts our shortcomings.
He accepts everything that wego through, whether it's
insecurities, whether it'saddictions, whether it's, I
don't know, a host of things,right?
God says, come.
But during our walk with Him,that is when because it's not a
sprint, it is a journey.
We're walking with Him.

(03:51):
We begin to unbecome the verything, or should I say
everything, that doesn't benefithis plan for our lives.
We begin to unbecome the thingsthat will differentiate us from
those that do not believe inthe Lord, from culture standards

(04:13):
and the likes, right?
We begin to unbecome the verything that doesn't edify us
becoming a new creature inChrist Jesus.
He will begin to pluck up andtake out, extract the things
that are in us from culture, from the things that we've
learned in our family, even thethings that we have experienced

(04:38):
in life, good, bad, anddifferent, right?
He begins to shift us.
He begins to change us.
And it's during that time thatwe're entering into the process,
right?
We are in the process.
But even in that, God doesn'twant us to stay there.
He wants to beautify us so thatwhen He sees us, he sees more

(04:59):
of himself.
He sees more of his son.
So as we're going through,whether it's...
process or whether it feelslike it's a process where you
are isolated alone or like youare in a dry wilderness.
Understand this, that it is notthe final destination.
It is not the place where Goddesires for us to stay.

(05:20):
It is just a A place oftransition, right?
Because he says that he has forus a land flowing with milk and
honey.
Therefore, there is nourishmentin that place.
So even if we're going throughwhat it seems like a wilderness
place, a dry place, that is notour final destination.
It's just a place of passingthrough, a place of pruning, a

(05:44):
place of revealing, right?
It's a place of dying tooneself.
It's a place of dying to pleaseIt's a place of dying so that
God can live in us, right?
It's a place of exposure.
It's a place of modification.
When we're in the place ofprocess or in some places, the

(06:07):
wilderness, it is a place ofreset, of re-establishment.
But it's also, this is what Ilearned during my sabbatical
away, that it is a place ofGod's big reveal.
It is the place where God willbegin to reveal what is in our
heart.

(06:27):
And it's amazing when he beginsto expose it.
A lot of times we are takenaback by it because we cannot
believe that that is in us,right?

I think it is in Deuteronomy 8: 2. (06:39):
undefined
I'm not 100% sure, but that'swhat I think it is.
Or it might be 2 and 8.
But He says, I've brought youthis way.
So that I can prove to you orexpose to you or show you what
is in your heart.
So what does that mean?
That it is a place of the bigreveal.

(07:00):
That God is showing us what isin our heart.
Isn't that something?
That it's what's in our heartthat's bringing us to a place of
the big reveal or to a place oftransition.
How many times have you heardor even said to yourself, God
knows what's in my heart or heknows my heart.

(07:22):
And the truth is that iscorrect.
That is a hundred percentcorrect.
And with that, he is truly theonly one who accurately knows
what's in our heart.
We have no idea what's in ourheart.
We may think we know what'slike, I saw God expose my heart,

(07:44):
right?
So when I say this, it's sovery personal.
It's very practical.
But what I also discover is themore people that I talk to,
that I wasn't alone.
So it's a place where Godbegins to expose what we thought
we know, but we have no idea.
And to that very day when heexposes it, when he puts his
finger on it, that what has beenhidden is now exposed.

(08:08):
That thing that, or that placethat we have been operating from
out of our heart, whether it'sa place of rejection,
abandonment, insecurity, pride,envy, ambition, right?
There's so many differentthings.
And the one that seems verysneaky that most of us don't
know that we're operating fromis that place called pride.

(08:32):
So when we say, yes, well, Godknows our heart.
Sometimes we say it flippantly, but the truth is he does.
We are absolutely right.
He knows what's in our heart.
He knows everything.
He knows truly our heart somuch that he understands the
place from where we areoperating out of.

(08:52):
And I say that becausesometimes we don't know that we
have put a mask or a bandaid orburied something so far, so
deep.
that we don't understand thatthat's a place we're operating
from.
If our heart has been hurt ortraumatized, what if our heart
is operating out of a place oftrauma and we didn't realize or

(09:17):
out of a place of doubt, youmight say, oh no, I have faith.
No, I have faith.
Yes, I have faith.
And that is true.
We have a measure of faith forwhat we have already
encountered.
We can say that we have faithwith our lips until God comes
for our words, not knowing thatsometimes behind what we're

(09:38):
saying we have faith for isreally a place of disappointment
or discouragement or even fearthat had been speaking louder
than our faith.
So when God takes us through thewilderness or he takes us
through a place of transitionand transformation, a place of
exposure, understand this, andthis is the beautiful part.

(10:02):
When God says that all thingswork together for the good,
right?
We understand that a newversion of us is coming forth.
A new version, the betterversion, a more healed version,
a more aware version of us iscoming forth.
The old version, it worked forwhat it needed to work for.

(10:24):
It worked for the previousseason.
But more is now required.
A better version is nowrequired.
A more humbled version is nowrequired.
A more faith-filled person isrequired.
So with that, some things had tocome to the light.

(10:46):
Some things had to fall off.
Some things had to die.
And some things had toliterally be walked to the
altar.
so that God could kill it, sothat God could get it up and out
of us, right?
We had to allow God permissionto consume those things, to

(11:06):
modify us, to change us.
He will illuminate it, but wehave to be willing to want to
lay it down.
Because remember, God is agentleman.
He doesn't force himself onanyone.
He is a loving father.
He is a gentleman.
He's not going to force himselfon us, right?
Even with that being said, wealso have to remember some

(11:29):
places of transition or someplaces of wilderness or some
things that we go through thatwe experience, though God may
have allowed them, they didn'tcome from him.
Some places can come out of aform of disobedience.
Right?
Remember when the children ofIsrael were only supposed to
pass through the wilderness whenthey left Egypt, but they were

(11:52):
going to go to the promisedland.
They were supposed to passthrough there and not set up
lodging, not build there.
They were only supposed to passthrough what was only supposed
to take, I think it's either 11or 14 days to get what God had
already prepared for them.
But as they left from oneseason, From what they were

(12:15):
familiar with, from what wasvery familiar and comfortable to
them, to the new of what Godhad.
It was a place of process andtransition.
And it's funny how they werecrying out while they were in
bondage, when they were in theirold season for deliverance, for
God to hear them, for God tosee them, to take them, to

(12:38):
deliver them out of what theywere experiencing and the
hardships.
And God gave them what theyasked for, what they petitioned
for, what they prayed for.
But he also gave them aprocess.
So what was in them, what theywere accustomed to.
did not go into the best ofwhat he had for them but they

(13:00):
were so attached to the familiarthey were so attached to the
old version that while they weregoing through their mind and
their mouths could not see thenew of what God was doing when
he says behold I will do a newthing do you not perceive it are
you not aware of it sometimeswe have to take a moment to just

(13:23):
stop and think stop and look, stop and pray, but also to
listen while we ask, God, areyou doing a new thing?
What is this thing?
Though it's uncomfortable, though we may want to get out of
the fire, though we may notlike the environment, the
situation or the process, wehave to understand that God

(13:44):
would never take us to a placethat he did not expect to bring
us up and out.
We will not exit the same waywe entered.
It's always a better version ofus that will come out because
God's word says that we go fromglory to glory and faith to
faith.
But they could not see what Godwas doing for them, in them,

(14:09):
through them, and even aroundthem.
It wasn't so cut and dry.
Like if you do this, you'll dothis.
If you'll do this, it's that.
It wasn't.
It's just the process oftrusting God, have faith.
We're in God, not in what wesee, not in what we feel.
Because our emotions can tellus a number of things and they

(14:32):
are so inaccurate, right?
But we are to have faith in Godbecause when he answers, right?
The answer might not comepackaged the way that we think
it's going to come.
It may not even come in thecomfort in which we would desire
for it to come.
But nevertheless, God answers.
God hears our petition.

(14:54):
He sees what we go through.
When it says in Psalm 21, Ihave not withheld the request of
your lips.
I have given you your heart'sdesire.
When we commit our thoughtsunto the Lord, commit our works,
our plans, God will establishus.
He never said how.
He just said that he would doit, right?

(15:15):
It's just a matter of as we'regoing through the process, can
we get our mind fixed on thebigger picture?
Can we get our mind to come intoagreement with what God has
said so that we too can say whathe says so that in the place of
transition, we can come outbetter, but we can come out

(15:38):
faster.
So let me ask you, if you findyourself in a place of
transition, are you buckingagainst the progress?
Are you bucking up against theprocess of the season of
transition and transformation?
Have you now noticed thatyou've stayed in this place a

(16:00):
little bit longer and began toact or live Or conform as if
it's the final destination?
Or are you steady trusting God,leaning not to your own
understanding, but in every wayacknowledging him, even when it
doesn't feel good?

(16:22):
Are you leaning?
to your not understanding, butleaning to the one that knows
the thought that he thinkstowards you.
The one says, call to me and Iwill answer and I will show you
great and mighty.
I believe Amplified Versionsays, even fenced in things.
So are you calling out to himinstead of cursing what you see?

(16:44):
Because remember, he who begana good work is faithful and just
to complete it.
That which he began in each andevery one of us, right?
He's going to complete it andhe's going to perfect it.
It's just up to us to allow himthe time and the space and the
sovereignty to do what is neededto perfect that thing when it

(17:08):
concerns us.
Father God, we just thank you.
We bless you.
We honor you.
We look to you, the God whoknows all things, the God who
was all sufficient, theomnipresent God, the omniscient
God, the God who knows allthings.
So God, we simply say, thankyou.
Thank you.
Thank you.

(17:28):
Thank you that you know thethoughts that you think towards
each and every one of us.
Thank you that as high as theheavens are from the earth, so
are your thoughts concerning us.
So Father God, We thank youthat you are perfecting that
thing which concerns each andevery one of us.
God, we repent if our mouth wascursing, grumbling, or

(17:48):
complaining against the processthat was really for our good so
that your kingdom can beestablished in us so that we can
look more and more like you andless and less like culture and
environment and what we know.
God, we just simply say thankyou that even in the process of
repenting that God, that you'reputting us back in our rightful

(18:09):
seat and position.
We thank you that as things areworking together for our good,
that you will, Father God, getthe glory out of our story.
You will get the glory out ofwhat we go through because, God,
you are very mindful of eachand everything that we go
through.
So, Father, we just simply say, have your way.
Do what only you can do becausewhen we come out, we will give

(18:32):
you all the glory.
As we are going through, wewill be mindful to give you all
the honor, the glory, and thepraise.
say thank you for today.
God, we bless you and we honoryou because God, you said that
you know the way in which wemust go.
Thank you for purifying evenour hearts, oh God.

(18:52):
that you are creating in us aclean heart, renewing a right
spirit on the inside of us, OGod.
You're taking out everythingthat is callous, that is old,
that's traumatic, that ispainful, so that, God, that it
can become a place where you canmold it, a place that is one of
flesh, because we desire forour heart to be in your hands,

(19:13):
because, God, you, Father, God,know the thoughts, not just that
you think, but you know thethings that are hidden in our
heart that won't benefit us,that even in the long run, God,
I thank you that God, that yourheart, that you will perfect it,
that you are purified, that youwill cleanse it.
So Abba Father, we simply saythank you for today.
Thank you for doing what youknow is best for us and that

(19:36):
God, we will lead not to our ownunderstanding, but in all our
ways, oh God, we willacknowledge you and allow you,
Heavenly Father, to direct ourpath.
So for that, Father God, Isimply say, thank you, thank
you, thank you.
It's in Jesus' name we pray.
Father God, if there is anyoneunder the sound of my voice who
does not know you as Lord andSavior, my prayer is that the

(20:00):
moment that, God, that you knockat the door of their heart,
that they open up the door wideand allow you to come in to be
Lord and Savior, that theyrepent of their sins,
understanding that that you weremerciful and that you were
gracious to forgive them as theyrepent.
And God, as they repent andthey allow you to come in and be

(20:21):
Lord of their life, that God,that you will show them how to
live a life for purpose, onpurpose, so that your kingdom
can come and that your willwould be done in and through
their lives.
So God, I thank you for eachand every person that said,
Lord, come into my heart and beLord of my life.
God, I thank you.
Send laborers from yourvineyard that would help
strengthen them and equip them.

(20:41):
God, we bless you God we honoryou it's in your name we pray in
Jesus name Amen, Amen .
And thank God well thank youfriends thank you so much for
listening thank you so much forbeing a part of Sapphire daily
prayer and meditation I pray inthe name of Jesus that you were

(21:03):
blessed that you heard somethingthat would equip you or
strengthen you or opened up youreyes to see something different
may the Lord bless you may theLord keep you May the Lord make
His face to shine upon you.
May the Lord be gracious untoyou.
And may the Lord lift up Hiscountenance unto you.
May you have His perfect peace.
