This one cuts deep. We’re talking mind control, the marketing psychology, repetition, AI, and surveillance that shape what you think before you even know you’re thinking it. From the Pulse crosswalk erasure to Fox’s manufactured outrage, soldiers on our streets, TikTok hypocrisy, Target spin, and Palantir’s data machine, I’m pulling the curtain on how it all works and what we can do about it. It’s not chaos. It’s choreography. And we’re done being danced.

What’s inside this episode

Mind control without chips: Rule of Seven in marketing and the Illusory Truth Effect (why repetition feels true)

Erasure as propaganda: the Pulse rainbow crosswalk removal and the community’s chalk-rainbow response

Outrage on a loop: logo rebrands, Fox noise, and distraction as a tactic

Normalization: National Guard presence framed as “paperwork,” how visibility reshapes the baseline

Prestige propaganda: red carpets for strongmen, optics over rights

Gerrymandering as psychology: redraw the map, redraw the mind

Corporate spin: Target’s “resignation” that wasn’t a win

Church-state creep, checked (for now): Ten Commandments law blocked

TikTok hypocrisy: bans for you, posts for them

Palantir and AI: surveillance, data fusion, prediction, why the pause right now matters

Your power: flipping the playbook, repeat the truth, organize, and mobilize

Key takeaways

Repetition is a weapon. If they can loop a lie, we can loop the truth.

Erasure is control. Show up and re-write memory in public.

Algorithms don’t get the last word. People do.

We still have a window before surveillance is fully normalized. Use it.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
What if I told you everything?
You've been watching the logo, outrage, the bans, the red
carpets, the endless back andforth between Democrats and
Republicans.
None of it is random, it's notchaos, it's choreography.
And no, they don't need to puta chip in your head to control

(00:23):
you.
They just need you to scrollEvery click, every headline,
every fight they stage for thecameras.
It's training your brain tobelieve a lie and, the scariest
part, you don't even feel ithappening.
I'm Christy Chanel, and this isSassy Politics.

(00:45):
Welcome to Mindfuck Monday, because the news should come
with a trigger warning.
I'm Christy Chanel, and todaywe're going to talk about
something that sounds likescience fiction, chanel.
And today we're going to talkabout something that sounds like

(01:07):
science fiction but is very, very real Mind control.
Not the kind with wires in yourbrain or hypnotic spirals, but
the kind that uses repetition, erasure, distraction and
algorithms to shape what youthink, how you feel and what you
believe.
It's advertising, psychology,it's propaganda, it's Palantir

(01:32):
and it's all around us.
Here's how it works.
In marketing, there's somethingcalled the rule of seven.
The idea is simple People needto see or hear something at
least seven times before theytake action.
That's how Coca-Cola sellshappiness.
That's how Nike sells victoryand that's how Fox News sells

(01:55):
outrage.
They repeat it over and overand over again.
Until your brain doesn't justrecognize the message, it starts
to believe it.
Psychologists have a name forthis it's called the illusory
truth effect.
The more you hear something, even if it's a lie, the more it

(02:16):
feels true.
Familiarity beats logic and ifyou repeat it enough, the brain
takes the shortcut.
I've heard this before, so itmust be real.
Now think about how this playsout in our own headlines.
Last week, the Rainbow Crosswalkhonoring the 49 victims of the

(02:38):
Pulse nightclub massacre waserased, literally removed
overnight, under a directivefrom Trump's administration.
That's propaganda by erasure.
If the memorial is gone, thememory starts to fade Out of
sight, out of mind.

(02:59):
That's how you control acommunity, not just by what you
show them.
That's how you control acommunity Not just by what you
show them, but by what you takeaway.
Here's the thing they can erasepaint, but they can't erase
love.
People showed up with chalk andfilled the sidewalks with

(03:21):
rainbows.
Gets me a little bit emotional.
Then there's Cracker Barrel.
Fox News turned a simple logorebrand into another Woke
outrage.
Why?
Because distraction is part ofthe playbook.
Saturate the airwaves with alogo drama and you keep people

(03:42):
too busy to notice the policiesstripping their rights away.
It's the rule of seven all overagain.
Repeat woke is bad until itsticks like a jingle.
Repeat woke is bad until itsticks like a jingle.
19 states now have NationalGuard units helping ICE with

(04:03):
paperwork At least that's theofficial line.
But let's be honest.
This isn't about filingcabinets.
It's about normalizationSoldiers on your street,
military gear outside yourgrocery store.
At first it shocks you and thenit becomes background noise,

(04:27):
and that's when the controlworks.
You don't even notice itanymore.
Trump even pulled out a photoof himself with Vladimir Putin.
What During a press conference?
I literally sat there like whatare you doing?
Then you had the Americansoldiers rolling out the red
carpet.
That's propaganda by prestige.

(04:50):
Dress it up, sell it as power, make the dictator look like a
guest of honor.
Meanwhile, american citizensare being jailed for dissent.
In Texas, republicans pushedthrough their new gerrymandering

(05:10):
maps and in California, gavinNewsom pushed for a special
session to do the same.
That's not just politics, it'spsychological warfare.
Redrawing maps doesn't justchange elections, it changes
minds.
It changes who feels like theybelong and who feels like
they're cut out.
And then there's Target.
You probably saw the headlinethe CEO resigned.

(05:33):
They tried to frame it as avictory, but the truth is he
just moved up to the board.
That is a promotion and a spin.
Repeat the word resignation andenough people believe it's a
win.
It's not a win.
Texas tried to force the TenCommandments into classrooms.

(05:56):
A federal judge blocked it.
For now that's one of the rarecracks where truth actually
slips through, a reminder thatnot everything in this system is
locked down.
And then the White House TikTokpage.
Let's not forget.
The government is the one thatsaid we can't have TikTok

(06:16):
because the Chinese are spyingon us.
Yeah, it was a security riskand it was banned.
And then Trump illegallyextended that ban three times.
And yet here we are with theWhite House launching an
official TikTok page that'scalled gaslighting, telling you
it's dangerous for you, whilethey use it for themselves.

(06:40):
And of course, they got trolled.
I mean like really, reallytrolled.
It was a bad rollout for them.
Victory for us.
Just remember, you might needbail money if you went on there
and trolled them.
Okay, because you know theWhite House is unstable.
Cool thing is Trump was soembarrassed he fired his own
social media person.
It's probably best that she gofind some place else to work.

(07:03):
Anyway.
Who would want to work for him?
But here's where this all tiestogether.
Behind logos and red carpetsand bans, there's something
bigger Surveillance, palantir.
They've already built softwarefor ICE, called Immigration OS.
It ties together data fromhealthcare, taxes, social

(07:27):
security and even social media.
Their system Foundry isdesigned to integrate everything
into one screen, turning ourprivate lives into predictive
patterns.
What does that mean?
It means they don't just watchwhat we do.
They start to predict what wewill do before we even know it

(07:52):
ourselves.
That's the real mind control.
Not hypnosis, not brain chips, but predictive analysis,
ai-generated propaganda andrepetition on repeat until you
can't tell what's real anymore.
Algorithms don't just repeat thelie.

(08:13):
They make you love it until youthink it's your own thought.
But here's the good news loveit until you think it's your own
thought, but here's the goodnews.
Right now, palantir and itsgovernment contracts aren't
fully integrated into oureveryday lives.
We have a pause, a moment, achance to get ready before the

(08:34):
system becomes unavoidable.
That's the window.
We have to change the narrative, because if we wait until the
surveillance grid is everywhere,it's too late.
So what do we do?
We take the playbook they'reusing against us and we flip it.
We repeat the truth, we amplifythe voices, we use the same

(09:00):
rule of seven, but withresistance, with activism and
with community.
And that's where I'm going toleave you today with this call
to action.
History is watching us.
Every headline, every algorithm, every erased rainbow, it's all

(09:22):
being recorded and one day, ourkids, our grandkids will scroll
and ask what did you do whenfreedom was on the line?
Did you stay quiet or did youstand up?
This is not the time to sit onthe sidelines.
This is not the time to waitand see.

(09:44):
It's time to act.
It's time to become part ofsomething bigger.
It's time to become a link inthe chain.
Go to activistchaincom, leaveyour city and state and join us,
because they may control theads, they may control the
algorithms, but they don'tcontrol us, not if we fight back

(10:08):
.
This isn't the end of the story.
This is the chapter where werise, guys.
