🪨 “Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces...”

In this powerful parable from Luke’s Gospel, Jesus tells the story of the wicked tenants—a story that strikes a nerve with the religious leaders of His day and continues to confront us today.

Have you ever shattered something fragile and watched it scatter in pieces? God's Word confronts us in much the same way. It breaks our pride, our excuses, our sin. But it also does something miraculous—it puts us back together again, not with the old fragments of guilt and shame, but in the healing power of Christ’s forgiveness.

🔔 Pastor Kyle Backhaus explores this profound truth: when we fall upon the Cornerstone—Jesus Christ—we are broken, not to be discarded, but to be made whole.

In a world that often wants Jesus silenced, His Word remains the great leveler... and the only true source of restoration.

📌 Key Takeaways:

Jesus' parable draws from Isaiah’s Song of the Vineyard, illustrating God’s relentless love and righteous judgment.

The Word of God breaks what is sinful in us, but through Christ, we are restored—not condemned.

Just like the tenants, we must ask: How will we respond to the Son when He comes to us?

In Christ, being broken is not the end—it is the beginning of healing.
