Sustainable transformation isn't found in 75-day challenges or extreme diets - it's built through daily habits and identity shifts that last a lifetime.

Have you ever completed a tough program like 75 Hard only to watch your results fade away afterward? You're not alone. Today, we're diving deep into why even the most disciplined temporary programs often fail to deliver lasting change, and what actually works instead.

Most transformation programs focus on what you do temporarily, but permanent change comes from who you become permanently. When you shift your identity - when you start saying "I have to be fit" instead of "I want to get fit" - consistency becomes automatic. This identity-first approach is the foundation of sustainable transformation, and it's what we've built Unstoppable 365 around.

The secret to lasting change isn't found in extreme measures or unsustainable practices. It's about creating a personal blueprint you can execute day in and day out, forever. It's about designing habits that feel natural, not restrictive. It's about building accountability systems that keep you focused when motivation inevitably fades.

What would happen if 90% of your days looked exactly the same by design? What if you stopped chasing quick fixes and instead created a lifestyle that naturally produces the results you want? This episode challenges you to stop wasting time on temporary solutions and start building the identity that makes transformation inevitable. Your future self is shaped by what you do consistently, not occasionally.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Create a life by design, not a life that's just
75 days where you're gettingresults and then going back to
your old lifestyle.
Not a diet where it's just 90days of keto or carnivore and
then you don't know what to eatand then you just sabotage your
results.
People want it easy and theywant something that they know is
going to work.
Here's the truth If you wantreal results in life that you

(00:20):
can sustain.
It's not going to be easy, it'snot going to come quick.
So just know that, going intoit, rather than trying to get
the quick wins and the quickresults, create a plan that you
can follow for the rest of yourlife.
Welcome back to another episodeof the Unstoppable Mindset

(00:42):
Podcast.
I'm your host, sean Crane.
Thank you for tuning in Today.
This is going to be a goodmessage for anybody that's
wanting to develop discipline orget fit and in shape and follow
a structured plan and developthe right habits.
I want to talk specificallyabout 75 Hard and what I think
about 75 Hard and how itcompares to the Unstoppable 365

(01:03):
app that me and my team membersuse to coach our clients.
First of all, andy Fursellacreated 75 Hard.
I love what he represents.
I love his message, his podcast.
He built First Form into abillion dollar company.
Dude's a savage and a beast andhe came out with 75 Hard, which
I think has a great premise.
You know, 75 days of being veryintentional, working out two

(01:25):
times a day, eating a certaindiet, I think, abstaining from
alcohol, reading a book, certainpages out of a book every day,
drinking a gallon of water Likeit's a blueprint to becoming a
better version of yourself, andyou'll see people that do it all
the time and they lose a bunchof weight.
They talk about how it changedtheir life, but also a lot of
people follow 75 hard and thenafterwards they don't know what
to do and they fall off.
In fact, they go back to whatthey were doing before, which

(01:47):
sounds crazy right.
Imagine having 75 days ofprogress, 75 days of you know
forming good habits, doing allthe right stuff, and then, when
you're done, you don't know whatto continue doing.
So you go back to the way youwere living before, like it
sounds crazy right.
And the reason I'm bringing thisup is because I had a call with
one of my coaching clients, whoI mentor one-on-one yesterday

(02:08):
and he was telling me that he'son 75 hard for the fifth time
and he has a pattern of doing 75hard and then falling off
afterwards because he doesn'tknow what to do and he goes back
to eating ice cream, just kindof binging on whatever food he
wants, not working out as much.
And it's messed with hismindset, right, because he has

(02:31):
these periods of success andprogress, but then he has these
periods of inaction andprocrastination and feeling kind
of lost.
And so what I want to point outhere is that 75 hard is a great
program to develop discipline.
You have structure.
It shows you just how much youcan get done a day when you're
intentional.
But it's not sustainable, justlike people that do the
carnivore diet or a keto.
You see them lose weight andget results and then all of a
sudden, a year later, you seethat they're the same weight

(02:51):
that they were before the ketodiet.
Right, they gained all theweight back.
It's because it's not asustainable plan.
So they're spending all thistime focusing on doing these
things, whether it's 75 hard ora specific diet that they can't
sustain.
So it's almost like wasted timebecause, yeah, you get the
result, yeah, you put in theeffort, but when you're done
with that program.
You don't know what to do, youdon't have the right habits, you
don't have the right mindset,you haven't created a lifestyle

(03:13):
around these changes, so yourevert back to your old
lifestyle.
It's fricking crazy, right?
People are delusional if theythink that that's going to work
for them.
So.
So what I teach the men andwomen who are part of
Unstoppable 365 is really how tocreate a sustainable plan,
using our app and creating theirown personal blueprint every
client is different somethingthat they can execute day in and
day out, 365 days a year,forever.

(03:40):
And that's what I do in myhealth, in my business, in my
relationships, as a family man, because I execute the same
things day in and day out that Isee having the most impact on
these areas of my life.
I have a very structured dayand I upload everything I'm
doing into Google calendar sothat I'm accountable and I'm
living intentionally, so that Iperform the best I can in my

(04:00):
business.
So I'm always at the gym at acertain time.
So I'm eating a certain type ofway, right, a certain balanced
diet and we'll get into that ina second, what I actually eat.
And then I'm intentional athome.
I'm intentional about the timeI spend with my wife and
children.
I'm there and I'm present, likeI have all these things that
I've put together to create alife by design.
The thing is, most people whodo these fad programs, they

(04:22):
don't have a sustainable plan tofollow.
So, rather than waste 75 daysor a couple months or 90 days
doing some fad diet, you'd bebetter off structuring a plan
that you know you can executeday in and day out.
And the great thing about theapp that we have set up our
clients love it because we cantrack their progress.
We can see who's doing the workor who's not doing the work

(04:44):
right.
Your wake up time you check alittle box when you do it.
Your workouts that haveinstructional videos and show
you exactly what to do and theamount of reps and sets.
Check that box when it's doneright.
We teach them how to tracktheir calories and what foods
they should eat and what foodsthey should avoid.
We're creating a lifestylearound nutrition right.
Check that box when it's done.
By the end of the day.
You checked all these boxes.
Number one you feel good aboutthat.

(05:04):
Number two you're being heldaccountable.
So me and my other team memberscan actually go into our app
and see who's doing the work andwho's not, and there's a level
of accountability when making achange that is so important.
A lot of people have a verydifficult time changing.
Humans in general do not liketo change.
We like to do what's known, what's predictable.
But when your lifestyle, whenyour results, when your habits

(05:25):
are not serving you, you got tofreaking change right.
The craziest thing I see is alot of people, when it comes to
making those changes, wouldalmost revert back to a life
they say they don't want, a lifethat they actually dread,
versus getting out of thatunknown and getting
uncomfortable and making achange.
Whether it's going to the gymevery morning, getting up
earlier, eating a new diet, youknow, just getting out of your
comfort zone, reading books, like they know, these things are

(05:46):
good for them, but when itcomes time to do in them, they
struggle.
That's why having mentors, coaches, accountability and
support is key, because it helpsyou to do those things long
enough until they becomeingrained in who you are.
And that's my goal for each andevery one of the clients that I
mentor and work with.
I want to help you shift youridentity.
I want to see a paradigm shiftin the way you view yourself,
because when that happens, Iknow that you'll get the results

(06:09):
and keep them forever.
Because you have to have them, because you identify with the
results.
That's your new standard.
That's what happened to me whenI changed my life.
It wasn't about getting abs orbeing fit or getting so.
It was who the fuck I was.
I have to be this guy.
I have to be sober.
I have to be fit.
I have to be sober, I have tobe fit.
I have to be a present father.
I have to be a good leader, like I have to be this man.

(06:30):
This is who I identify with.
So to not do the work is noteven an option in my life, and
I've told you guys this manytimes I execute the same day
over and over and over.
90% of my days throughout theyear look the same.
There's holidays, there'stravel and vacations.
You know those days aredifferent than my typical day,
but I have the same day, thesame blueprint that I can

(06:50):
execute 365 days a year and evenif I'm traveling, even if it's
the holidays, I can stillexecute it right.
I know what workouts to do thatbuild the physique that I want.
I know how to eat in a way thatgets me results, in a way where
I can enjoy food but eat foodthat's nutritious, that serves
me, that doesn't deplete me.
That's not crap, right?
I like to read every day andeducate myself.

(07:10):
So I read 10 pages a day whereI can take that information and
apply it to my life and helpclients or share it with other
people Like I know what I'mdoing each and every day.
I have a blueprint that'smethodically laid out.
If you don't have that type ofstructure in your life and
you're doing something right nowthat you know you can't sustain
for the rest of your life, whythe fuck are you doing it?
You're wasting time.
You'd be better off to create aday and a lifestyle where you

(07:32):
go.
You know what I can eat thatway every day for the rest of my
life.
That doesn't even feel like adiet.
I'm not overly restricted, I'mjust making smarter choices.
I'm measuring away in my food.
I'm cutting out some crap.
Yeah, I can stick to that plan90% of the time.
That's the goal, right.
Oh, those workouts, thatwake-up time yeah, I could do
that 90% of the time.
Create a life by design, not alife that's just 75 days where

(07:56):
you're getting results, and thengoing back to your old
lifestyle, not a diet where it'sjust 90 days of keto or
carnivore and then you don'tknow what to eat and then you
just sabotage your results.
People want it easy and theywant something that they know is
going to work If you want realresults in life that you can
sustain.
It's not going to be easy, it'snot going to come quick, so
just know that.

(08:16):
Going into it, rather thantrying to get the quick wins and
the quick results, create aplan that you can follow for the
rest of your life.
Create structure and routinesand habits that serve you that.
If you just look into the futurebased on those daily actions,
you know that's the person Iwant to be.
I can almost see thatindividual If I get up at this
time, if I do this workout, if Iread these books, if I cut out

(08:37):
these habits, if I spend my timethis way.
Yeah, that's going to createthe man or woman that I want to
be.
That's the goal.
And guess what?
That time's going to pass youby one way or another and one
day you're going to experienceit every day.
The things I'm doing todaystarted off with a simple plan
that I can execute and followday in and day out.

(08:59):
I had a vision and clarityaround that vision and I had a
deep and burning why behind howand why I had to become that
person.
That's the driving force behindyour transformation.
Then you get a structured plan, then you get accountability and
that's when the life-changinghabits and results take place.
So, look, if you're looking fora coach, if you want a mentor,

(09:21):
if you want to level up yourmindset, your fitness, if you
want to be a more present fatherand a better leader, that's
what I do at Unstoppable 365.
