Speaker 1 (00:00):
If you are constantly
hit and snooze, if you feel a
lack of motivation, if you'retired often, if you're craving
drugs, food, porn, alcohol, allthese substances, the reason is
is because you don't havealignment towards a greater
purpose in your life.
When you are truly tapped in,when you are living in alignment
with a purpose that drives you, that ignites you, that fulfills
(00:20):
you, you never want or need anyof that stuff Because you feel
so good every single day.
Imagine if you or need any ofthat stuff because you feel so
good every single day.
Imagine if you never needed anyof that stuff because you felt
so amazing in your life that todo those things would actually
bring you a notch down.
That's how I overcame myaddiction.
That's how I overcame five anda half years in prison.
That's how I got out and builtmy seven figure business and
(00:40):
created the life for my familythat we always wanted.
And that's how I'm gonna leavean impact on this world massive,
massive obsession, massivepassion, all heart, all fucking
drive every single day.
Welcome back to another episodeof the Unstoppable Mindset
(01:01):
Podcast.
I'm your host, sean Crane.
Thank you guys for tuning inwith me.
I'm here at the home officeslash studio.
We're building this thing outand I'm feeling blessed, man,
I'm fired up, I'm blessed, I'mfreaking inspired, you guys.
And the title of this episodeis gonna be something about
inspiration.
I don't know what it's gonna beat, you'll see, but there's a
(01:22):
tagline that I use often orsomething that I tell people.
I tell them look, I don't gettired, I'm inspired.
And the reason I'm bringingthis up right now is because, if
you are constantly hittingsnooze, if you feel a lack of
motivation, if you're tiredoften, if you're craving drugs,
food, porn, alcohol, all thesesubstances, the reason is is
(01:43):
because you don't have alignmenttowards a greater purpose in
your life.
Maybe you don't even know whatthat purpose is, maybe you don't
know where you want to go right.
There's a disconnect there.
So if you're not in alignment, you're going to waste time,
you're going to be indecisive.
And what happens internally?
I see this all the time withindividuals there's just this
huge lack of motivation.
Like these are individuals thatwant to sleep, that want to sit
(02:06):
around, you watch TV, youfucking get excited to eat food,
you want to use drugs andalcohol because that makes you
feel better.
And I'm here to tell you, man, that when you are truly tapped
in when you are living inalignment with a purpose that
drives you, that ignites you, that fulfills you.
You never want or need any ofthat stuff because you feel so
good every single day that to dothose things would actually
(02:29):
bring you a notch down.
Imagine that.
Imagine if all the stuff thatyou do right now, or most people
do in society, to like get atemporary high or fix right.
A lot of people drink on theweekends or after work.
A lot of people smoke, weed andtake drugs I used to all the
time.
People use food a lot to makethem feel better.
Porn, sex, tv, entertainment, whatever it is.
(02:50):
People do that because theywant to change the way they're
feeling.
So they do that because theythink or they know from past
experience that temporarily it'sgoing to make you feel better
than you currently are.
Imagine if you never needed anyof that stuff because you felt
so amazing in your life that todo those things would actually
bring you a notch down.
To do those things wouldactually kill your buzz.
(03:11):
It would kill your high.
Imagine if that was possiblefor you.
Well, it is, and the key isalignment.
Alignment will change yourentire life.
Alignment to your ultimatepurpose to your goals alignment
every day in your daily actions.
What I mean by that is when youdo things every single day that
make you feel proud of who youare, that build you up and that
incrementally produce theresults you want in your life.
(03:33):
That's how you create success.
That's what alignment is, andfrom that comes fulfillment,
from that comes gratitude, fromthat comes this energy that's so
infectious, so powerful, sopotent.
It'll change your entire life.
Now I was having a conversationwith one of the men that I
mentored the other day.
This is a one-on-one coachingclient of mine.
He's a business owner.
I'm not going to throw his nameout there and put him on blast,
(03:55):
but he hired me because hewants to hit that next level in
his life.
He wants to feel unstoppable,he wants to wake up driven, he
wants to run through those brickwalls and annihilate anything
in his path to achieve all hisgoals.
I know that feeling man.
A lot of you guys want thatright and respectfully so.
Like that's what we're here todo.
If you're a leader, if you're aguy like me who wants to
achieve the most in his life, like, of course, that's how you
(04:17):
want to feel right, but hedoesn't feel that way.
He battles depression.
This client of mine struggles tobe consistent with his fitness,
with nutrition, with drinking, and we're getting him back on
track.
But it's not always as easy asjust saying, hey, I'm going to
be this person, and then itbecomes easy Like you have to
fight to become that person.
You're going to be tempted withthe alcohol.
You're going to be tempted withyour old habits.
(04:38):
You're not going to want to getup some days, you're going to
be tired.
It is a dogfight.
If you want to become your bestself, it's a fucking dogfight
and you got to be willing towake up every day and rise to
the occasion.
You're going into battle.
Dude, 4 am.
Go to the gym eating clean allday, running your business,
being there for your kids, noalcohol, no stress relief.
It's a fucking dogfight and yougot to be ready for it.
(05:01):
Ok.
And so this individual recentlysaid dude, like I just tired
last week I took like two daysoff, I slept to let myself
recover.
And you know I'm listening tohim and I have to remind myself
to talk to my clients the way Italk to myself, not to appease
them or accommodate them, causepart of me wants to be like oh,
dude, yeah, I get it, man, youneed to rest, you need to
(05:21):
recover.
Like, I get it, dude, fuck that, that does not get you to the
top in this life.
Okay, I didn't get here byresting.
I got here by doing more andignoring the warning signs.
You know, I was thinkingrecently about getting one of
those aura rings and back in theday I had a whoop watch and
what it does it tells you whenyou're too stressed, when you're
too tired, you need to rest, right when you've had bad sleep
(05:41):
the night before and you need torecover.
And in the midst of thisconversation with my client, you
know he was telling me abouthow his whoop watch or I think
it was his aura ring was tellinghim he was really, really
stressed and needed to recover.
And in the midst of ourconversation, I told him you
know I was thinking aboutgetting one of those watches.
Fuck that, I'm not getting oneof those watches.
I don't want some devicedictating how I show up in my
life.
I want to be abnormal.
(06:03):
I'm not going to fit in thisbox that everyone else wants to
be in.
That's called mediocrity.
I will never live in that box.
I told him dude, when I wasdoing my ultra marathon training
, ironman training, I had aGarmin watch right and there
would be many days where I wasjust super tired and super worn
down and super over-trained, aspeople call it.
On those days I wouldn't rest,I would go out and run 10 or
(06:26):
fucking 20 miles first thing inthe morning, just to prove to
myself that I didn't live inthis world of limitations, that
at any time I could choose to dothings exceptional and go above
and beyond what average peopledo in their lives.
So in that moment I had torecognize like the way I got
here in my life is beingcompletely unorthodox, by being
completely unrealistic, by beingso fucking delusional, so
(06:49):
optimistic, so driven that Iplow through any limitations in
my life.
You know, and I've usedphysicality training running,
biking, lifting weights,swimming, ultra marathons,
ironmans, like sculpting myphysique.
I've used that as a catalyst toharden my mindset and to prove
to myself what's possible.
Because when you're tired, whenthere's pain right, when you're
(07:10):
negative in your self, talk, that's when the challenge is
real, that's when you want toquit, that's when you want to
tap out, that's when you want tosleep in, that's when you want
to make an excuse.
Oh, I deserve to cheat me.
I deserve the drink.
Dude, fuck that.
No, you don't't.
You want to be the best, youwant to be great, you want to
leave an impact on this world.
Then you don't get the easy wayout.
You got to do more work and yougot to do it more consistently,
(07:32):
like that's what it comes downto.
You know, everybody needs torecover at sometimes.
Everybody needs sleep.
Sleep is good for your health, and that's what leads to optimal
performance.
What I'm saying is, most youcould push yourselves way more
than you are of.
You are way more capable thanyou give yourself credit for,
and you let a little stupidwatch tell you that you need to
sleep in and rest that day.
Dude, you want to be a top onepercenter, you want to be a high
(07:54):
performer, and you're lettingthis stupid watch or ring tell
you that you need to rest andtake a day off.
Like, take a day off whenyou're fucking 50, when you
built your empire, when youretire early and you know, take
care of your family.
Then you can kick your feet upand read a book for a little bit
, right?
Here's the truth, though.
Why do you think when peopleretire and kick their feet up,
they die early Because they lostthat sense of purpose, they
(08:15):
lost that drive.
When you are driven, when youare purpose driven, when you
have a goal, when you're wakingup every day because you got to
make that money, you gotta coveryour bills, you gotta build a
business Like you're buildingsomething, dude you don't have
the option to be tired.
You can't get sick.
You don't get days off, dude.
But what happens is when peoplereach the top or they finally
get a little you know financialstability, or they finally
(08:38):
achieve some semblance ofsuccess they start to backtrack,
they start to get comfortable, they start to get complacent,
they lose that drive, they losethat initiative and that's when
they jeopardize everything.
Right?
So here's the truth, man If youare truly purpose driven and
inspired, you do not get tired.
(08:59):
Obviously, you know times there.
There are times when you needto recover.
Okay, you're not a machine, youdon't go 24 seven.
However, those times when youthink you need to sleep in or
rest or take a day off, they'redrastically cut down because
when you have a mission and anobjective, your focus, your
excitement, your energy is soaligned to that purpose, that
place in life that you want tobe and you want to get there so
(09:20):
bad.
You don't entertain thesethoughts of being tired.
You don't let stuff like thisstop you.
And so the other day, when I washaving this conversation with
one of my clients, I had toremind myself of how the fuck I
got here, how I built this life, how I became this version of
myself.
And it wasn't by listening tomy whoop watch, it wasn't by,
(09:40):
you know, just taking it easy.
It wasn't by being realistic.
It wasn't by, you know, takingrest days and this and that.
It was massive obsession, massive action, no fucking
excuses every day for 13 years.
That's how I overcame myaddiction.
That's how I overcame five anda half years in prison.
That's how I got out and buildmy seven figure business and
created the life for my familythat we always wanted.
(10:02):
And that's how I'm going toleave an impact on this world.
Massive obsession, massivepassion, all heart, all fucking
drive every single day.
Now don't get me wrong.
There's times when I love tocuddle with my wife and kids.
We'll put on a movie and we'llenjoy that time and I earn that
time.
But I'm not sitting there everyday making these excuses, if
anything like.
I need to check myselfsometimes and be like dude.
(10:24):
It's okay to enjoy thesemoments, it's okay to slow down
a little bit.
In a previous podcast I sharedearlier, I talked about enjoying
the little moments and nottaking them for granted and not
overlooking them.
But, dude, for most of you guys, you have the opposite problem.
For most of you guys, you needto be way more driven, way more
consistent, way more obsessed.
You're not fucking tired.
You don't get to be tired, yetyou never get sick.
(10:45):
Okay, you don't live in a worldof limitations, right, you?
You don't live in a world oflimits.
You live in a world oflimitations.
You're not realistic.
You're not like everybody else.
You're not going to be mediocre.
You don't listen to yourfucking whoop watch.
You don't need to rest all thistime, dude.
You need to do more.
You need to push yourselfharder.
You need to see what you'rereally capable in this life and
who you can become with massiveeffort and no fucking excuses.
(11:08):
That's what 99% of you men inthis world need right now.
You don't need another fuckingrest day.
So, dude, I'm telling you, Iwant this message to fire you up
, not because I'm trying to putyou down, because I know how
bad-ass you can become and howfucking capable you truly are.
You just need to go out andprove it to yourself, first and
foremost.
