(00:00):
Hello, welcome to another episode which is the last and final episode on a thousand voices

(00:10):
podcast. I will be talking about time, how you use it and how will you be remembered.
This is quite interesting and I think everybody should know this and understand that it's
pretty important how we choose to be remembered. So what is legacy? How do you want to be remembered?

(00:44):
Our time on earth is limited. To be honest, we all don't know when it will end for us.
As much as we have a day and then we live in that day, you just never know when your
day will come. You have people living up to the age of 100, you have people living at
the age of 50, you have people dying young and all of that is never determined. Nobody

(01:08):
ever knows when that would happen. So how do you want to be remembered since all of
our time is limited? The legacy that you live has to be a lasting one. So every single thing
that you do every single day should contribute to at least living that lasting legacy. So

(01:30):
a legacy is what remains after you're gone. The influence you've had on people, the community
and the world you live behind. A legacy isn't just for famous people, it's for every single
person through their choices and actions and how they kind of live the life either within

(01:52):
their community, within their family. So what this means is you have to live intentionally.
You have to spend time today knowing that that will shape your legacy for tomorrow.
So every decision, whether it's a big one or a small one, contributes to the story that

(02:17):
people will have. So it's not always about how you live, like for how long, but it's
how you use your time. Those moments, how do you want people to remember you? And the
legacy can mean so many things. It can be values, it can be material things, it can

(02:39):
be contributions. How do you start a legacy? And it's something that you decide to do now.
So they are not built over time. They are the results of how we use our time, the choices
we make and the lives that we touch. So ultimately, like I said, it's not about the time you

(03:02):
have, but how you use it. And what impact do you want that to have on the world? So
when you think about the future, right? What kind of mark do you want to leave behind?
Because your legacy isn't just your personal stories, it's about how you touch the lives
around you. So what you can do is, for example, the impact that you give within your community.

(03:28):
How do you contribute to the world around you? Maybe it's through volunteering, it's
through mentoring, it's through supporting local businesses. There's so many ways to
give back, like participating in local initiatives and supporting causes that you care about.
And the beautiful thing about this is every small action, right? Even a small one or big

(03:51):
one, there's always a ripple effect because that small act of kindness or that service
that you do grows and it inspires others to do the same. Then the next part is your impact
on your family. Your family is like your closest circle and the lessons you pass down, the

(04:12):
love you show, the time you spend, all of that will contribute to when you're gone.
So how do you value the actions and the words and everything that you contribute to your
family's wellbeing? Is it positive? Is it negative? Are you going to leave? What exactly

(04:35):
are you going to leave? Then impacts on your career, in your professional world, your legacy,
what you've built, what you've discovered, what you've established, what you've created,
all of that matters as well. And I think it's never too late to start thinking about that

(04:55):
because the decision you make today, whether for your community or your family or career,
that will shape your future and that will shape your legacy. So the time we have now
is very precious and we really need to appreciate it. And we need to start, it can start today,

(05:17):
like just live understanding that you are contributing to this world, you're contributing
to different society and all of that can be a legacy that you are proud of. So if you
want to leave a legacy, how do you start? You can start by setting clear goals and values.

(05:40):
You can break down the big values or the big goals and then start taking daily actions
towards that. And then consistency is key. You have to establish a routine to make sure
you reflect your goals every month or every year. Then surround yourself with like-minded

(06:01):
people because who you spend time with influences your habits. And if you build a network of
people who inspire you to stay aligned, then you can see all those goals. Always remember
to be present and always think long term. Leave room for ever growing, ever evolving

(06:22):
because that's what we are as human beings. Like we do not stop growing. We will continuously
grow. And as cycles of life, there's birth, there's death. It's inevitable. It happens
to all of us. And yeah, it's quite a fascinating topic time. I just hope I covered everything.

(06:49):
If ever there's something that I missed out, I will, I don't know if I will come back to
chapter seven, but chapter eight, I am looking forward to doing things differently. This
is going to be so interesting. I don't want to say too much, but just know if you're listening

(07:14):
to this, the next episode that you're going to listen to is going to be something unique,
something different. So I just want to close this chapter, giving a shout out to my lessons
in life. Shout out to what I can say is I really haven't been doing the shout outs of

(07:41):
like all the books that I've read and all the people that have that kind of inspire
me. But I will tell you now. So the likes of Joe Dispenza, Joe Dispenza is one of the
biggest people that I started following and my life completely transformed. Then we have
Deepak Chopra. He's also great. Then we have a very close and personal person that I met

(08:06):
actually in real life. I deal Ahmed, go and check her out. She is really, really, really
amazing. Then we have Sajj Guru. I hope I pronounced that name right. Yeah. Then we
have Abraham Hicks. Yes, I've read a lot of material from Abraham Hicks and I've really

(08:30):
digested everything she speaks about. Then we have Eric Thomas. Eric Thomas is one of
the people that were sort of like a gateway for me to understand and know what self help
is because he is very motivational on like a practical level and he is very like on point.

(08:55):
Like he doesn't live in his stone and turn. So shout out to him. Then another one is Napoleon
Hill. Thank you for the amazing book that you gave to us thinking grow rich. Because
sometimes we are our own, what's that? We are our own enemies, you know? So the more

(09:18):
you understand yourself, the more you can realize how you literally can be your own
enemy and when you know that you're becoming your own enemy, immediately you will change
your ways, you'll make better decisions, you improve your life and you will enjoy a more

(09:41):
fulfilling life. So I'll see you on the next episode. Bye.
