Hey! Guess who just found out that April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month? It's me... I guess it was good ol' serendipity that prompted my publishing an interview with an LCSW who focuses on sexual assault awareness last week! Anyway!
Today I read (yes read) two essays I wrote within the last few years detailing a handful of the sexual assaults I've experienced so far and then give some candid background and followup after each. The links for the essays are below along with a 3rd bonus essay detailing some more assault but also some thoughts on consent.
If you have a sexual assault/abuse story, I'd love to talk to you -- either on the show or otherwise. These experiences need to be shared! sexcompod@gmail.com
