A College Student, a Jane Doe, and a Decade of Unsolved Violence In 1972, Jeanette Kamahele left her home near Santa Rosa Junior College and never made it to class. She was last seen hitchhiking near a freeway onramp. In the years that followed, the region became synonymous with violence: multiple young women, many of them hitchhikers, were found murdered in rural areas across Sonoma County and they became known collectively as the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker Murders. By 1979, hikers stumbled upon a skeleton near Calistoga Road. The woman had no name, no clear identity—only theories. Could this be Jeanette? And were their cases connected? Some believe these women were victims of the same person. Others speculate about a possible link to the infamous Zodiac Killer. Law enforcement has questioned multiple suspects, including a well-known serial predator based in the Pacific Northwest. But decades later, justice remains elusive. This week, we tell the story of two women—one who vanished, and one who was found. 📖 Featuring a special double reading by Enya Flack and Megan Peta Hill.  Enya Flack is an accomplished American actress, television spokesperson, reporter, and entrepreneur.
