When her daughter arrived at Ruth’s home, the back door was splintered, her glasses were left on the pillow, and Ruth was gone. In this episode, we trace the disturbing series of events that followed: a red Buick seen across state lines, a pair of fugitives on a multi-state killing spree, and a confession that came too late.  Ruth’s body has never been found, but who were the men responsible, and why did they target Ruth?
