Hey, shounen fans! Today, we're diving into Frieren: Beyond Journey's End for the very first time! We meet the elven mage Frieren and her adventuring party: Himmel the Hero, Heiter the priest, and Eisen the dwarf. After defeating the Demon King (or Lord?), they part ways after a decade-long journey together. Fifty years later, ensuing the death of Himmel, Frieren wishes she had taken the time to get to know him better. Years later, while visiting Heiter, she sort of stumbles into having an apprentice - a war orphan named Fern who Heiter had been looking after. After Heiter dies, Frieren and Fern begin their own journey to learn spells. These first two episodes packed an emotional punch and introduced us to a fantastical new world.
