First things first. WELCOME TO SEASON 2!
I’ve been so encouraged by all the questions, convos, and feedback since Season 1 … It’s clear how important this conversation is to have and I’m so excited to continue it. Today, I think it’s important for us to reset the table somewhat. Understanding how God has gifted us in intelligence is wonderfully important, but it’s not the same as understanding our identity— we only find that when we know who God is and what He does for us.
Who we are is all based on who He is. So as we notice and define the intelligent aspects of ourselves, we have to first define ourselves in context to the One who made us. We are God’s masterpiece creation, after all. When we define ourselves by movable strengths and personalities, we miss the actual identity we have based in an immovable God.
Let’s dive back in, shall we?
