Join me, Tammy Roche, for another episode of Social Worker in Private Practice.
Not just for social workers anymore—this podcast dives into the work, the life, and the deeper questions in between.
In this episode, I’m talking about what it really means to tune in when our body is speaking—often louder than we realize. From fatigue and tension, to those subtle nudges we tend to dismiss, our body is constantly sending us notifications. The question is: are we paying attention, or are we too busy silencing the alerts?
I share my own experiences with ignoring the signs until they couldn’t be ignored any longer, and what shifted when I finally chose to listen. Learning to honour the signals of our body isn’t just about self-care—it’s about creating a healthier, more sustainable way of living and working.
If you’ve been feeling worn out, disconnected, or like your body is waving a red flag you’d rather not see, this episode is an invitation to pause, notice, and respond with compassion.
The podcast will take a short break and will resume with all new episodes in October.
P.S. – Also in October, I’ll be participating in the 2025 Shitbox Rally—a car rally fundraiser raising money for Cancer Council. It’s a cause that’s deeply meaningful to me, and I’d love for you to check it out. You can learn more and support my journey at tammyroche.com/giving-2025-1.
