Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am very excited
that we are about to embark on a
very cool part of this podcast.
My name is Tabitha.
I'm an intuitive coach and Ihelp people unlock their
intuition.
This next week, I am going todrop a podcast episode at least
once a day, and that's a big askfor seven, because that's a lot
(00:22):
of commitment, but I amcommitting to it and we are
going to be.
Basically, I'm going to tellyou a story and I want you to
guess which Enneagram type thisperson naturally orients to.
I'll give you the instructionsat the end on how to do that.
There will be a prize for youif you play with me.
(00:44):
There will be a prize for youif you play with me.
So that's my invitation to you.
There will be a prize.
I'm not going to tell you whatit is yet, but there will be a
prize.
So go ahead and put on yourRiddle Me this hat, and we're
going to get started.
Today I want to tell you a story.
It's the story of a woman namedKaren, and maybe, just maybe,
(01:11):
it's your story too.
So take a breath, soften yourshoulders and open the space to
receive.
There once was a woman namedKaren who lived in a world made
of lines, straight lines, cleanlines, lines that told her where
(01:31):
to walk, how to speak, what wasexpected of her.
She followed those lines withperfection.
She was praised for herdiscipline, trusted for her
honesty, admired for herdedication.
And yet, in the stillnessbetween tasks, a whisper would
(01:54):
rise, like breath through thecracks.
Is this all there is?
Karen never said that questionaloud, not to her colleagues,
not even to her partner, but thewhisper was persistent, like a
song she couldn't name yetcouldn't forget.
(02:16):
It happened on a Thursday, ordinary, unremarkable.
She was reviewing yet anotherreport that didn't matter to her
soul.
Outside, the sunlight fellacross the trees, like it always
had, but this time somethingshifted.
It was as if her spirit tiltedjust slightly and a voice, not
(02:42):
from outside but deep within, asked what if you stopped trying
to fix the world and startedcreating the one you wanted?
Her breath caught.
What would it mean to let go ofthe lines, as life often does
(03:06):
when we begin to listen inwardly?
A message arrived, a podcast, apassing comment, an unexpected
invitation to a weekend retreatfor soul-led entrepreneurs.
Not her usual thing, too airy, too loose.
But something inside leanedforward and before she could
(03:30):
talk herself out of it.
She clicked register.
There she met a woman with eyeslike still water, deep, quiet
and knowing.
The mentor didn't push.
She simply asked what are youholding together so tightly that
you're afraid will fall apartIf you loosen your grip?
(03:53):
Karen didn't answer.
She didn't need to.
Something inside cracked open.
That night, in a dream, karenfound herself in a room, ancient
and warm.
A fire at the center flickeredlike a heartbeat.
(04:15):
Around her sat four strangers, and yet they felt like home.
Each one represented a voice, apart of her that had been
waiting.
The architect, tall, precise,he said you crave structure not
to control but to shape.
(04:36):
Your systems are sacred, butthey were never meant to be
prisons.
He handed her a compass, onethat pointed inward.
The healer, soft-voiced, radiant.
You've forgotten how to begentle with yourself, she
(04:58):
whispered.
You call it humility, but it'sperfectionism.
Can you allow in grace?
She gave Karen a vial labeledMercy the Challenger, a woman
with fire in her eyes.
You've been avoiding your anger, she smiled.
(05:20):
But your fire is sacred.
Use it to create, let it burnthrough illusion.
She gave her a sword, not towound but to cut through, and
the dreamer cloaked in color.
You fear imagination because itcan't be proven, they said.
(05:42):
But everything you long forstarts in the unseen.
They gave her a mirror, butinstead of her face it reflected
her potential.
But Karen couldn't see herselfin the mirror because the room
began to darken.
A cold presence entered, avoice she knew too well You'll
(06:11):
never get it right, you'll bejudged, you'll fail.
And if you fail, you'll beexposed.
It was the judge, her shadow, avoice that once wore a suit,
spoke in logic and always madeher feel not quite enough.
He whispered Better to staysafe, stick to what you know.
(06:37):
Who are you to guide otherswhen you're still a mess inside?
Karen trembled, but then sheremembered the mentor's question
what are you holding so tightly?
She turned to the judge andsoftly said you were trying to
(07:01):
protect me, but I don't needprotection anymore, I need
permission.
She placed the compass, thevial, the sword and the mirror
on the ground.
The judge blinked and softened.
He stepped back into theshadows Not an enemy, but a
(07:24):
quiet observer.
Shadows, not an enemy, but aquiet observer.
Karen woke up, changed.
She didn't leave her job thenext day, she didn't know the
full path, she simply began Ablog post, a beta offer, a
calendar block labeled creativedreaminging and her inner
(07:45):
council.
They showed up daily.
The architect helped her buildsystems clean, clear and sacred.
The healer reminded her to rest, even when her list felt too
long.
The challenger sparked hermovement when self-doubt crept
in.
The dreamer helped her feelagain, believe again and play
(08:11):
again.
Now it's your turn.
Take a breath, let this storysettle into your somatic
intelligence, your body, yoursoul, your system, and ask who
sits at my council table?
What voice have I obeyed thatno longer serves me?
(08:33):
What truth have I always knownbut kept hidden behind shoulds?
You don't have to know theanswer right now.
Just close your eyes for amoment to know the answer right
now.
Just close your eyes for amoment.
Imagine your counsel.
(08:53):
Who appears?
What gifts do they bring andwhat might change if you trusted
them?
This is the path of precision.
Not perfection, but precision, the art of tuning in to what's
truly yours to build, to feel,to reclaim.
Thank you for listening to theSoma Flow podcast.
