Welcome back to the Soma Flow podcast.
My name is Tabitha McDonald.
We are going to continue ourlittle game of guess which
Enneagram type I am talkingabout.
So get your guessing ears on,if that's even a term.
And here we go.
Today I want to tell you astory.

It's the story of a woman namedMaya, and maybe it's your story
too.
So close your eyes, drop intoyour hips and let's begin.
Maya had always been the one tohold the weight At work.
She was the one people leanedon.
Decisions, deadlines, chaos shehandled it all.

(00:45):
Her manager praised her drivebut kept her small.
He relied on her but never sawher.
She was called intimidating,assertive, too direct.
But all Maya knew was if Idon't stand strong, everything
falls was if I don't standstrong, everything falls.
And so she stood every day backstraight, fists clenched, fire

contained, but beneath it a deepknowing, a quiet voice.
You were made for more thanholding up someone else's empire
.
It happened on a Tuesday, amajor pitch.
Maya had done the strategy, theprep, the planning, the whole
vision came from her.

And yet, when the deal closed,her boss smiled and took the
credit.
Not a thank you, not a mention,just a shrug and a new
assignment.
Not a mention, just a shrug.
And a new assignment.
Something cracked, not loudly,just a clean internal tear, like

a fire finally breaking freefrom its cage.
That night, maya sat in her car,hands shaking on the wheel.
She whispered I've beenbuilding someone else's kingdom
when I was born to birth my own.
And that's when the firestopped burning her and started

guiding her.
That night, she dreamed adesert, a storm and a figure
walking through flame.
It was her higher self and afigure walking through flame.

wildfire and ancient oceans.
She spoke with no sound, butMaya heard her.

You weren't made to play safe.
You were made to disrupt,dismantle and ignite, not for
ego but for purpose.
She reached out and placed herhand over Maya's heart and in
that touch, maya saw herselfleading, speaking, transforming
lives.
Not for recognition, butbecause truth burned in her

bones.
You are the storm and thesanctuary.
The catalyst whispered Leadfrom your fire.
As the dream deepened, a templeformed, one of fire and gold and
breath.
Inside a council waited Partsof Maya.
Superpowers she had buriedunder survival.

The heart-centered connectorstepped forward.

She stood in a robe of softrose, light eyes, full of
knowing.
Let love in, she said.
Your power is magnified inconnection.
You don't have to do it allalone.

She placed a ribbon of silkinto Maya's hand, a reminder
that real strength includessoftness.
Next stepped forward theintuitive sage, cloaked in
indigo, holding a glowing map.
Your wisdom isn't just insight,it's transmission.
You're here to teach frameworksthat free people.

She offered a scroll, ablueprint for deep
transformation.
She burst in like sunrise, thevisionary creator, laughing,
spinning, radiant.
Play love, play love.

Don't forget to play.
Your joy opens portals.
Your ideas move the world.
She handed maya a kaleidoscope,turning shadows into vision.
Next, the harmonizing mysticstepped forward, wrapped in
stillness, radiating peace.
You are more powerful when youare aligned.
The world doesn't need yourpush, it needs your presence.

She offered a stone, cool,solid, grounded.
But just as Maya gathered thegifts, a cold wind blew through
the temple.
A figure emerged sharp.
It was the controller, hershadow, the part of her that had
kept her safe.
By staying in control, you'lllose everything, he snarled.

Who will respect you if yousoften?
Who will follow you if youdon't dominate?
Maya's fists clenched, oldarmor rising.
But then she remembered thecatalyst's voice Lead from your
fire, not from fear, not fromforce, from soul.

She placed the silk scroll,kaleidoscope and stone on the
altar and turned to thecontroller Thank you, but I'm
not here to survive anymore.
I'm here to transform.
And with that, the shadowdissolved into ash.
Maya left her job two monthslater, not in rage, not in

(05:59):
revenge, but in reverence.
She began her business acoaching practice rooted in
power, purpose andtransformation.
She spoke with fire and soul.
She built a brand that awakenedpeople's truth and her counsel.
They showed up every day theconnector reminding her to lead

(06:22):
with love.
The sage giving structure toher knowing the creator turning
vision into offers.
The mystic keeping her groundedand clear.
And, at the center, theempowered catalyst guiding her
into the fire and beyond it.

Now take a breath and drop in.
Ask yourself where am I givingmy power away to stay safe?
What disruption is trying toawaken me?
What part of me is ready tolead, not with control, but with
purpose.
Feel into it.
Your fire doesn't need to betamed.

It needs to be trusted.
This is the path of theempowered catalyst.
You are not made to stay smallto make others feel safe.
You are made to burn what'sfalse and build what's real.
