The retreat you've been dreaming of is finally here!

In this special episode, I’m announcing A Return to Soul Retreat, happening in October 2025 in Upstate, NY. This is the only retreat I’m hosting this year, and it’s designed for 6 women who are ready to breathe, release, reconnect, and step into their next season feeling lighter and more alive.

🌿 Why Retreats?
I’ve attended countless retreats and each one has shaped my path. Retreats are not required for transformation, but they are the most fun way to do it! This retreat is inspired by my own journey of shedding what no longer serves and coming back to what’s true.

🌿 What is A Return to Soul Retreat?
Held during Harvest Season, this retreat aligns with the Metal Element in Five Element Theory. It's focused on letting go, releasing, and making space for what’s next. You’ll leave feeling lighter, whole, and deeply connected to yourself

🌿 What You’ll Experience:
💨 Somatic Breathwork & Nervous System Regulation
🎶 Sound Healing & Yoga Nidra
📝 Creative Writing & Journaling
🌲 Hiking & Nature Immersion
✨ Inner Child Healing & Manifestation Practices

🌿 Who is this for?
If you’re a dreamer, perfectionist, overachiever, people-pleaser, or navigating a big life transition, this retreat will help you release, reset, and realign with what truly matters.

🏡 What Makes This Retreat Unique?
🔹 Small, intimate group (only 5 spots left!) for personalized support
🔹 One-of-a-kind experience blending healing, creativity, and connection
🔹 A safe, supportive space to unplug, grow, and reconnect with your soul

Spots are extremely limited! I’m having a personal call with each attendee before booking, so if you feel called to join, book a call with me today.

(00:45):
Let's dive in.
Welcome back to the podcast.
If you are new here, I'm Rae.
I'm a somatic coach andbreathwork facilitator, and if
you aren't new here, welcomeback.
I am so glad that you aretuning in for today's episode.
So for today's episode, I'mjust going to dive right into it

(01:09):
.
If you saw the title of theepisode, you probably already
know what my specialannouncement for today's podcast
is.
So I am so excited to sharewith you that this upcoming fall
season so in October of thisyear I'll be hosting my only
retreat for this year, so it'scalled a Return to Soul Retreat,

(01:33):
and this is something that I'vebeen wanting to host for a
really long time and I can'tbelieve that it's finally here.
So I'm so, so, so excited.
So I personally find so muchvalue from retreats I've been on
so many of them myself.
I definitely don't think thatthey're required by any means to

(01:55):
have like a big transformationor a breakthrough, but I do
think that they are the most funway to do it.
They're just super fun.
My first, I would say, likeretreat-like experience was in
2016, when I went to Wanderlust, and this was a yoga festival,
and the way that the yogafestival was set up was you had

(02:19):
kind of like a schedule ofclasses, like so many classes,
like hundreds of classes, andthroughout the day you could
sign up for different workshops, and they were all different.
You know yoga, sound healing, breath work, art, like
everything and anything that youcould think of.
They had it at this festival, and this is exactly where I
discovered breath work.

(02:40):
So, in 2016, this was kind oflike the catalyst moment that
brought me into, you know, allthese other areas that I'm
passionate about.
It's how I discovered somaticcoaching, somatic therapy,
everything.
So all at this yoga festival in2016.
And then fast forward over theyears.

(03:00):
There are, you know, I went toa yoga festival every summer for
a very long time Over the years.
There are, you know, I went toa yoga festival every summer for
a very long time, and over theyears, I also went to quite a
few different retreats.
One that I've mentioned on thepodcast previously was in
November I think it was November2023.
I went on a business retreat itwas literally called Biz

(03:20):
Retreat in Sedona, arizona, andit was super fun.
It was like I think there wasmaybe like eight women there and
it was.
I was there for like three daysand still from the to this day,
I still talk with some of thepeople from that retreat and
it's just like it was a reallyfun way for me to take a look at

(03:43):
my business, for me to getclarity on my business goals, to
figure out what was working, what wasn't working.
And from that retreat I changeda lot.
There was a really big likeshedding and release for me.
That happened at that retreatand it kind of gives me like a
point of reference that I canlike look back at and be like,
oh yeah, these are the thingsthat were coming up for me in my

(04:06):
life at that time.
And then even another one, alsorecently, that I've shared about
on the podcast was this pastOctober, october 2024, I went to
a advanced breathworkfacilitator training in
California and this was aweekend long training, so it
wasn't necessarily a retreat, but it was similar in that sense

(04:28):
and I got so much from thatretreat Same thing.
I received so many shifts, Ireceived so much insight into my
personal journey, into mybusiness, into my life, my
choices, and I came back fromthat retreat having one of the,
I would say, the biggestbreakthroughs of 2024 for me of
really just feeling like I, tokind of break through this new

(04:53):
layer of my self-expression, andalso breakthroughs around
people-pleasing so unexpected.

(05:14):
I went to it for breathworkfacilitator training, for an
advanced training, but I walkedaway with so much more.
And then also next week so I'mrecording this episode now, but
in two weeks I will be going toCalifornia for a different
advanced facilitator trainingfor breathwork, which I am so
excited about.

(05:34):
I have been planning this tripfor nearly two years.
I planned and canceled itmultiple times and now is the
right time, so in the righttiming, it all works out.
But, um, I'm excited that I getto go next week.
I have no idea what I'm going towalk away with, but I'm sure

(05:54):
I'll share some of it with youand, uh, yeah, this, some of
these reasons, some of theselike takeaways that I've
received just from taking timefor myself to step away from the
day-to-day life and see what ispresent for me, is exactly what
I want to bring for sixincredible women that are

(06:18):
looking to come together tobreathe, to do breath work, to
release and let go, be incommunity, be in nature.
We're going to be doing somehiking, have awesome food, we
have a private chef that's goingto be cooking us all Ayurvedic
wellness meals, and we're goingto have a lot of fun together.
So I'm feeling drawn tofacilitate a weekend-long

(06:39):
retreat together, and it feelsvery aligned for the journey
that I'm on right now too.
So I'm feeling like veryinspired.
In my business I've pivoted abunch over the past few years.
I've let go of a lot that isnot serving me, and it's allowed
me to come back to what'sreally true for me, something

(07:00):
I've also talked about in thepodcast, like my core values, my
vision, what is true for me,really come back to myself, and
that is why I'm passionate abouta return to soul retreat.
Let's come together, pause, breathe, release and come back
to ourselves, to what's true forus.
Okay, so clearly I'm veryexcited about this, which is

(07:25):
awesome.
So the retreat is going to beabout two and a half hours from
Long Island upstate.
It's in Curhonkson, I think I'mpronouncing that correctly in
New York, but it's basically inthe mountain side of the Hudson
River Valley.
So it's in this super cute, like bohemian themed Airbnb.

(07:46):
So it's in this super cute, like bohemian themed Airbnb.
We're right outside ofMinnewaska State Park, right
over by Mohonk Mountain House, and I'm excited because we are
going to also be going to thoseplaces on the retreat, which is
really cool.
So it's taking place on October2nd to October 5th.
So that's a Thursday evening, the evening of the 2nd, all day

(08:08):
Friday the 3rd, all day Saturday, the 4th, and then you leave
Sunday morning, the 5th.
So it's taking a place in thefall, because it's based all
around harvest season, allaround metal season, according
to five element theory, and inthe fall season season it is all
about letting go and releasing.

(08:29):
So, just like how the theleaves on the trees all fall and
all the things in nature beginto die and they all go.
Their seeds go all the way backdeep into the soil.
That's exactly what happens tous too, like when we hibernate
in the winter, we are allbeneath the soil, just like
nature, and in fall, that's whenwe are releasing and letting go

(08:52):
and shedding, and that is soperfect for breathwork.
I feel like every breathworkpractice has an element of
release, and that's why I chosethis time of year, so that it
aligns with nature.
We're going to be in nature,we're going to be doing hiking,
we're going to be outside, andit's why I chose this time of
year, so that it aligns withnature.
We're going to be in nature,we're going to be doing hiking,
we're going to be outside, andit's just a beautiful time to be
upstate New York.

(09:12):
The other core theme that we'regoing to be working with
throughout the weekend isconnecting with yourself, so
it's called a return to soulretreat.
That's a major element of thevision of the retreat and the
intention of it.
It's like when you let go ofall the noise of the day-to-day
life, when you pause, when youdisconnect so that you can

(09:34):
connect with yourself and whatyou want and what you need, you
will feel a sense of wholeness, you will feel a sense of being,
a sense of presence, a sense ofbeing in touch with you, and
when you're coming at life fromthat point, from that place,
you're so resilient, you feel somuch more embodied and so much

(09:59):
more safe to be in your lifeexperience, which I think is a
big part of the work that I do.
So I'm excited to bring thatcore theme into this retreat as
well.
So reconnecting with yourself, which is how I landed on the
name return to soul retreat.
And then the other core themethat we're going to be working
with is you're creating all ofthis space.

(10:21):
You're reconnecting back withyourself, and then what are we
making this space for?
So what is your vision?
What is the thing that you'rereconnecting back with yourself?
And then what are we makingthis space for?
So what is your vision?
What is the thing that you'recalling in?
Maybe for 2026?
Because at that time it's goingto be October 2024.
I mean 2025.
So it'll be like the end ofthis year-ish.
So, looking forward, what areyou calling in?

(10:43):
What are you making that spacefor?
And we're going to have thisincredible guest facilitator
joining us, for her name's Nikki.
She might be on the podcast inthe future as well to talk more
about her work and her practice, but she's an incredible yoga
facilitator and she'll bejoining us one of the evenings
to really work with our visionand lead us through this really

(11:06):
restorative yoga practice yoganidra, which is basically like
sleep yoga.
It's one of my favorite formsof yoga and it's so nice and you
end up like walking away withfeeling lighter, feeling more
clear and, ideally, in the sense, with this intention of feeling
connected to your vision andfeeling connected to what you

(11:27):
want to create and what's atyour core values for you.
So each day will have a littlebit of a different theme, a
little bit of a different flavor, but it's all going to come
together so nicely and I'mreally excited for you know, for
what you're going to be able toreceive from this retreat.
It's going to be.
It's going to be able toreceive from this retreat.
It's going to be so nice.

(11:50):
So there's a bunch of differentactivities that we'll be doing
throughout the retreat.
That looks like breathwork.
We'll definitely be doing somesemantic breathwork workshops.
We'll be doing sound healing.
You'll have opportunities forjournaling and creative
expression and writing.
We're going to be doing theyoga nidra practice, which I'm
excited for.
We're going to be doing hiking.
So on both days, or potentiallyone of the two days, we will be

(12:14):
going for hikes in the localarea and there'll definitely be
moments of inner child healingas well.
So I'm really, really, reallyso excited for this.
And if it is speaking to you, ifit's something that you are
curious about or you're eventhinking like, oh, I wanna know
more, I have more questions, definitely just reach out to me.

(12:34):
You can send me an email, youcan send me a DM.
There is a link on the landingpage, which I'll leave in the
show notes, for you to book acall with me.
It's like a 30 minute call.
If book a call with me, it'slike a 30-minute call.
If that's something that youare interested in too, just it
doesn't mean you have to sign up, nothing like that.
But if that is something you'reinterested in, where you're
like I need to speak with mebefore you book or before you're

(12:56):
, you know, reach out to me orwhatever.
That's what that link is therefor it, so that you can contact
me and we can just have a chat, and I really created this
retreat for the people that arecurious, the people that are
ambitious, they have big dreams.
They maybe have experiencedanxiety or perfectionism, people

(13:17):
pleasing, maybe going through abig life transition and they
are ready for making a changeand a shift and really looking
to receive something that willhelp them to move forward in
their life really and have asmuch fun as possible while doing
it.
So I know that this retreat isgoing to be a huge benefit to

(13:39):
anyone that signs up and if youare curious about it, just reach
out to me.
So, a little bit more about theretreat experience.
I will say that you know everyretreat that I've gone on has
been a little bit different andI've shared a little bit about
the ones that I've gone on sofar, but I think this retreat in
particular is going to have thehealing vibes.

(14:02):
It's going to have nature vibes.
It's also going to be super fun.
It's a going to be a small group, so you're going to be able to
speak with everyone there.
It's going to be seven womentotal, including myself, so six
retreat guests and you're goingto have the opportunity to
disconnect from day-to-day life, immerse yourself for a weekend

(14:23):
in a beautiful community withincredible women and have a lot
of fun.
We're going to be hiking, likeevery day.
So, as I'm describing theretreat, I've actually never
been on a retreat like the onethat I'm putting together.
The retreat I've actually neverbeen on a retreat like the one
that I'm putting together.
The one that I'm creating islike pretty interesting.

(14:43):
I think it's pretty cool.
So the daily structure lookslike you know, wake up at your
pace, have breakfast, coffee,tea.
We're going to have a morningworkshop, so something that I'll
be leading based on the themeof that day.
We'll do a group activity, which will most likely be hiking
at a nearby park, and thenwe'll have some chill time.
We'll do an evening workshopand then we'll have dinner and

(15:07):
then we'll close with anotherevening activity.
So for the meals, all the mealsare included, and we do have
this incredible Ayurvedicwellness chef.
Her name's Lauren I would alsolove to have her on the podcast,
so we'll see.
Maybe she'll join us and sheowns her own wellness cafe
called Chakra Bowls in theHudson River Valley area.

(15:28):
So she's also going to be a bigpart of our retreat, providing
us with all these like yummy, delicious meals breakfast, lunch
, dinner, snacks so it's goingto be really nice, um, and
really healthy, and we're goingto feel good just eating such
well, locally sourced andseasonal meals.
All right, so now that you haveall of the details, you are

(15:52):
officially invited to join.
There are are very limitedspots.
Like I mentioned, this is asmall, intimate retreat.
It's my first weekend longretreat, so I really want to
make sure that everyone has anamazing experience and there are
only five spots left.
So, between sharing the retreatthrough some private invites,

(16:13):
that for people that had signedup to know about it early, one
of those spots was booked.
So there are only five left.
And if you are interested inbooking a spot or even just
having a conversation about it,the link with all the
information is in the show notes.
You can send me a message, anemail, or you can book a call
with me.
So I am having short calls witheveryone who signs up just to

(16:36):
answer any questions and, youknow, walk you through the
process and this is going to bethe only retreat that I'm
hosting for 2025.
So I am so excited about it, I'mso grateful that you're here
and I can't wait to hopefullysee you at the retreat.
So thank you so much for tuningin for today's episode.
