Trigger warning: When we talk about trauma, even as an umbrella term,  it can cause suppressed memories and emotions to come up. But wanna know the good news? You don’t have to remember your trauma in order for you to heal.  Past traumatic events, and fear of future offenses only exist in the present in your minds. These fears and feelings often stay with us long after the trauma and are stored in the psyche leading to potential toxicity in the mind, body, and soul. In todays "soulo" episode of Soul Sis,  we are focusing on how we can transform traumatic energy through emotion by focusing on the feelings that arise from them rather than the event itself.  Instead of holding it all inside, we can actually alchemize this energy with a little practice, patience, and persistence. I will be asking you to turn inward & answer some questions, as well as share some practical, applicable practices you can implement in your routine to realign with your divine nature, release stored trauma in the body & overcome any limiting thoughts/beliefs/feelings/memories that may have been holding you back. And of course, I encourage everyone to intuitively ask themselves if this rings true for you because it is perfectly OKAY to try another method. I am sharing what has worked for me and hope it can help you too. Remember, be kind to yourself and seek support where & when you need it. Healing isn't linear, but when we begin to face our feelings, we can begin to free ourselves.
