Have you ever experienced that magical feeling when everything just clicks? When energy, focus, and joy align perfectly, creating a sense of effortless flow? That's exactly where I am right now, and it feels incredible.

What makes this particularly meaningful is that not long ago, I had resigned myself to a "new normal" of fatigue, brain fog, and discomfort that I attributed to age and hormonal changes. I thought these limitations were simply my fate. The remarkable turnaround I've experienced proves otherwise, and I'm bursting with excitement to share this transformation with you.

My renewed energy is spilling over into every area of my life—from teaching more challenging fitness classes (my poor 6am students can attest to this!) to making significant progress on upcoming retreats, courses, and challenges. Speaking of retreats, I'm thrilled to announce that registration will open soon for experiences that will be more content-rich and transformative than ever before. These fill quickly, so keep an eye on my newsletter for details!

I'm also inviting you to join our April push-up challenge: 11 push-ups daily for 30 days. Inspired by research suggesting women should be able to complete this many proper push-ups, this challenge embraces the "start where you are" philosophy. Whether you're modifying against a counter or alternating between knees and toes, what matters is beginning the process. You'll be amazed at your progress after 30 consistent days.

As we approach my 150th episode milestone next week (with special giveaways planned!), I'm filled with gratitude for this community. If you're struggling with energy, discomfort, or any wellness challenges, please reach out at 913-392-2877. The transformation I've experienced might be possible for you too. Let's connect, grow, and find our flow—together.

(00:22):

Hey, it's Robin, host of theSpandex and Wine podcast.
Thanks for listening.
Today I am all jazzed up.
You know, when you feel good, you're focused and productive,

(00:47):
the sun is shining and you justsimply feel in alignment.
That's been me, and it is sucha great place to be.
I don't want to get out.
I'm sure I'll get out of thatand come back in, but it's such
a good feeling when you're inthe flow, and I hope you are.
I hope, when you're listeningright now, that you have that

(01:07):
same exact feeling.
All right, first, I am almostready to release the information
about my upcoming retreats.
Actually, I just got off thephone with an individual that's
going to help structure one ofthem and it's going to be
incredible.
I have loved the trips we'vedone in the past, but these are
going to have so much morecontent, direction, guidance,

(01:29):
just all around a betterexperience.
So for those that haveparticipated in the past, you
know they fill up quickly.
Those of you that haven't, theyfill up quickly.
I'll be sure to give you aheads up in both my newsletter
and social media with info abouteach retreat so you have time
to talk to your bestie beforeregistration opens or goes live.

(01:50):
I'll probably give about aweek's notice, then I'll open it
up and everyone will get thecountdown at the same time, so
there's no preferentialtreatment, don't worry, no one's
going to get the inside scoop.
I promise that this is going tobe amazing and I want you there
and there's going to besomething for everyone.
I feel like all of them are sodifferent that you're going to

(02:12):
just fall into the category thatyou're supposed to be in, so
look for that.
Second, a big thank you tothose that filled out the survey
that I put in last week'snewsletter and I also put it on
social media and it's just likea four to five question deal to
help give me feedback on whatyou're looking for and how I can
help you be healthier andhappier.

(02:32):
I've already added more contentin my newsletter, so hopefully
you've noticed that, and whatI'm working on now will be a
deeper dive to keep you on trackand feeling amazing, just like
me.
All right, third, let's see.
I want to continue to work onupcoming courses and challenges
that I've mentioned before.

(02:53):
I am aiming to have all of thatplanned out by the end of this
month hopefully sooner, though.
My jazzed up state will help meget it all done, I am sure, as
long as I don't get sidetracked, which happens so easily with me
.
Oh my gosh, is anyone else likethat?
Some days aren't so bad, butothers I truly feel like a
chicken with his head cut off, running in too many directions

(03:15):
and really getting nothingaccomplished.
Oh, and speaking of chickens,we got some new chicks this past
weekend.
We have more on the way.
We bought these that we got,but we're going to put some eggs
in the incubator tonight, so weshould have more in 21 days.
It's such a cool process, Ithink, so please pray we don't
end up with many roosters likewe did last year.
I do not know what we're goingto do if that happens.

(03:37):
So if you are in the market fora rooster, please hit me up.
All right, let's see.
Oh, an update on my episode lastweek when I was talking about
shifts that I'm making you guys,I feel incredible.
Like I mentioned, I had gottento a place where I thought I
would just be stuck Like I wasjust there and I was blaming it

(03:58):
on age and menopause, and I hadjust come to the point where I
just accepted it.
I'm like, okay, I'll do what Ican do, but I am so thankful
that isn't the case and I wantyou to experience this as well.
So, if you are struggling withfatigue or low energy, bloating,
achy joints, brain fog oh mygosh, the list could go on and

(04:19):
on or maybe if you're carrying alittle extra fluff around the
middle, or maybe if you'recarrying a little extra fluff
around the middle, I would loveto chat with you.
So you can text me at913-392-2877 and we can schedule
a call and maybe it's somethingfor you, maybe it's not, but I
would hate to miss anopportunity to talk with you
when it could help, right?

(04:40):
I can't express to you how goodI feel.
My class participants canprobably tell you that I'm
feeling good because I haveupped their workouts quite a bit
.
Yesterday morning, 6 am class,I thought I was going to have
people walk out the door or rollout because their legs probably
couldn't do any more lunges orsquats.
But they didn't.
They worked their butts off andit is showing they are going to

(05:03):
rock their tank tops thissummer.
And let me tell you, it is sorewarding to watch everyone the
six and the eight o'clock classwork so hard in their classes.
It just warms my heart.
I often say that, oh my gosh,I'm going to tear up, and you
guys, sometimes I really do.
It's just incredible that whatyou can do when you put your
mind to it.
All right.

(05:23):
I also want to thank all of youthat participated in the podcast
bracket showdown.
It was my fun play on MarchMadness.
It was kind of a last minutething that I put together, but
it ended up being a huge success.
You all are the best.
I can't believe the increase indownloads, so thank you.
My 150th episode will be nextweek.

(05:45):
I know I mentioned that acouple weeks ago.
I was a little off on mynumbers, but it should be next
week.
So I'm going to be doing somegiveaways for that, and it will
include sharing episodes with afriend or five-star reviews,
maybe adding people to ourFacebook group on oh on Facebook
.
Hello, I just said that, soI'll get all of that information

(06:06):
to you and I'll make it fun andhave some cute little giveaways
that I think you'll like.
I wanted to also tell you abouta challenge that we are doing at
the studio.
It's just something simple thatall of you can do.
I was listening to the MelRobbins podcast and she had an
orthopedic surgeon on there.
I can't remember the lady'sname, I'll have to go look it up

(06:28):
, but she was saying that womenshould be able to do 11 pushups
on their toes, going low enoughto touch their chest to like a
fist or an apple.
So that is something that weare working on.
I have challenged everyone to do11 pushups a day for the month

(06:48):
of April, but you can start atany time.
Just start where you're at, andit can be that maybe your hands
are on the fourth step of yourstairs and you're going to
gradually go down.
Maybe your hands are on thecountertop and you'll gradually
go down.
Maybe you're already doingpushups on your knees and you're
going to work towards doingthem on your toes and you could
go knees, toes, knees, toes, orknees, knees, toes, whatever it

(07:11):
is for you, but make sure thatyou're not shrugging, make sure
your elbows are slightly angledback.
They shouldn't be out straightto the side.
That's a little too taxing onyour shoulders.
Yeah, if you need, if you needinstructions, let me know.
Like, if you need to see aquick little video, reach out to
me.
I can send you a video on howto do a pushup and how you're

(07:32):
going to have proper form.
So please, please, reach out tome if you need that information
.
I think it's a fun challenge foreveryone and I like the idea of
.
I don't know why 11 is sointeresting to me.
It's not 10, it's not 12, butyet it's 11.
We can do it, you guys, anddon't get overwhelmed or

(07:52):
discouraged if you're like, ohmy gosh, I can't even do one on
my toes, that's okay.
Start where you are.
You will be amazed where youend up in 30 days.
So start today.
You're listening to thisepisode right now.
After you're done it's almostover You're going to knock out
your 11 pushups, or heck.
Just do them right now, whileyou're listening to the rest of
the episode.

(08:13):
Okay, you guys, I think that isit for today.
I am headed out in thisbeautiful sunshine to meet my
friend Bethany and walk with her.
We've been trying to do that atleast once a week, although the
weather hasn't been cooperating.
She is an instructor at thestudio that I just cherish.
She is wonderful.

(08:33):
If you know Bethany, you knowthat she is just a gem of a
person, so I love spending timewith her.
So that's what I am off to do.
Let's see.
Don't hesitate to reach out tome if you have any questions or
if you have any guests.
You want to send my way andnudge me if you don't hear back.
You know, like I said before, Iget so sidetracked and I'm

(08:55):
working on it.
I'm working on it and I do feellike I'm so much more focused.
But don't be afraid to nudge meif you don't hear back from me.
I am really loving theconversations that I'm having
with all of my guests and I'mlooking forward to what is in
the pipeline, and I think youwill too.
All right, you guys, take care.
