Hi Robin, Thank you.
I'm excited this is gonna befun.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
I'm excited too.
I remember I don't even know ithad to have been a couple of
years ago.
At least I had heard about yourproducts, we had talked about
it in my fitness classes, andthen we just kind of you know, I
don't know, we just let theball go.
And then I noticed on Facebookthat we have so many mutual
friends so I'm like I've got totalk to her.
(01:05):
This is going to be great and Ican't wait to hear all about
your products.
So let's start with a littleintroduction of yourself.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Okay.
Well, if it's all right withyou, I would love to just like
pour myself a little glass ofwine.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
You are in the right
place.
You're in the right place.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
This is a really
great excuse to do so At 1230 in
the afternoon.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yes, and what are you
pouring in your glass?
Let's just touch on that now.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Okay, so this is Blue
Dog Wine Co out of Mound City.
Okay, have you been there?
I have not been there.
Oh my gosh, they are thecoolest people.
Sarah and Tracy Johnson ownBlue Dog Wine Co and this is the
Pooch smooch.
This is what I already had andit's lemon wine and it is like
glorious.
Yeah, it's nice.
(01:50):
And that's perfect for today itis gorgeous outside.
It is, and so the timing isgreat because we'll finish our
chat and I'll probably gooutside and sit in some sunshine
and drink some more lemon wine.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Nice.
Okay, I'm going to have tocheck that out for sure.
Yeah, it's definitely worth adrive down there.
It's a cool spot, okay, andwe're kind of halfway there.
We're south of Lewisburg, soyeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
I'd love to meet you
there.
Okay, we should have done theinterview there we could have.
Yeah, well, frankie, yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Let us know about you
, what you do.
I want to hear all about it.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Okay.
So, um, I, my name is FrankieElder Reedy and I keep boobs
from bouncing.
That is the thing that has gotmy full focus right now.
Um, I've been an entrepreneurexcuse me, an entrepreneur my
whole life though.
So it's like's like, um, whatdo you do could be?
You know, I could have uhdifferent answers to that
question, but, um, yeah, rightnow I'm just fully focused on my
(02:51):
new product, new ish, like yousaid, you, I think you said you
saw it or heard about it acouple years ago, but, um, still
still building.
Like, this is, uh, from theentrepreneurial side of things,
this is a different, differentanimal than anything I've ever
experienced before.
So, um, the product is calledracks, yes, racks.
So it's definitely, you know, intended to be a fun play on
words, um, but it's the world'sfirst sports product control
(03:14):
bounce from the top down.
So, um, as an athlete, uh, youknow, I can't tell you how many
miles I put in over the years, like, and now, you know, I'm 47
years old.
Now, I'm not like competingreally in anything, I just like
to put one foot in front of theother to get clarity of mind.
It's more of an emotional pieceof my wellness.
Um, but I don't like bouncingwhen I'm doing it, you know.
(03:36):
Um, I love hit workouts, I lovebox fit workouts.
I really still very much enjoya lot of dynamic movement.
Um, I just I can't tell you likehow many miles I put in burpees
and whatever different things, and was just so frustrated
because I could not find.
I was looking for somethingthat does what racks does and I
just couldn't find it anywhere.
So I finally just decided tofigure out if I could do it
(04:00):
myself, and by myself Idefinitely don't mean so at
myself, I can't sew a pillow.
So I had to find the rightpeople, which is kind of a story
in and of itself, but found theright people that could help me
with, like the engineering partof it and you know, the R&D
part and you know, kind of gotthe first prototype and and had
(04:21):
a kind of a moment.
I'll never forget that momentbecause it was like, holy shit,
it works.
It just it was, yeah, and it'sjust been kind of one
bewildering, cool moment afteranother ever since then.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
So yeah, and I was
reading on your site and I'm
paraphrasing.
But what goes up must come down.
If you keep, if it doesn't goup in the first place, then it's
not going to come down, right, right, very simple.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
So you know, yeah,
I'd be, I'd be out running and
I'd be like holding myself youknow, yeah, and, and I was doing
that because I was like, well,if they, I was just thinking
like I would even say out loud, like I'm running along you know
my dog's beside me and I'm likecussing my dogs, you know like
where did they just makesomething, cussing at them
anyway, it's ridiculous.
But, um, I was reallyfrustrated because it seemed so
(05:10):
simple to me.
It seems so simple.
I'm like why don't they justmake something that keeps them
from coming up?
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
And I could not find
it anywhere.
Um, now there are some sportsbras that I've tried over the
years that have been like theones that cinch higher.
I don't know if you've everseen any of those.
I have a few different kinds ofthat, Um, and they, I will say
I do think that they, theyreduce bouncing a little bit,
but, um, when you have a largerchest, as I do, I have double
(05:36):
D's all that really ultimatelydoes is put a bunch of strain
and pressure on your shoulders.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
So, um, while it does
kind of mitigate the bouncing,
it just kind of causes anotherproblem, and I didn't want to
just trade one discomfort foranother, yeah.
So, um, yeah, I just I, Ifigured out a way to make them
not come up in the first place.
If they don't go up, they can'tcome back down.
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Now, is it an actual
sports bra or is it an harness?
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah, so um you can I
don't know if you can kind of
see these guys.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
I can see yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Um, this one over
here is the one we started with,
so that's called the racks max.
Um, that one is adjustable overeither breast.
It's like that's kind of thethe heavy duty version, if you
will.
That's that one's from.
Like ladies who have a reallychesty, um, it, it.
It definitely provides the mostamount of control.
Um, the adjustability is nice, because no woman's body is
(06:32):
perfectly symmetrical.
You know, yet all sports brasare.
They kind of have to be Um, butthat adjustability piece is
kind of nice.
Um, it's really great for forwomen who are breastfeeding,
because they have such a vastchange in the size of their
breasts just throughout the day.
Um, so it can be customized totheir personal curves and shape.
Um, so that's a nice option.
(06:53):
And I was listening to feedbackfrom customers and and they were
like I don't really want thesebuckles, um, I have one
particular customer who is ajujitsu badass and she can't
have the hardware right, so sheliked the control, but she
couldn't roll with it.
So, um, just kind of continuedto listen and innovate.
So we came up with the next one, which is this guy in the
(07:14):
middle.
That's the flex.
It's softer, elastic, so it'snot as rigid and it doesn't have
the um, uh, the hardware.
Um, it still provides asignificant difference in
control and doesn't?
You don't have like any um,you're not trading one
discomfort or another, it's verycomfortable.
And then last Friday I'm soexcited Last Friday I got to
(07:36):
pitch on the stage at theplanetarium at union station was
the coolest experience.
Um and I launched my new product.
So I do have the technology ofthe original racks designed into
an actual sports bra.
So you can see these two overhere they're.
They're kind of harnesses.
You sort of put them on over, you know, over a shirt or over a
sports bra or whatever thatholds men.
(07:59):
But now we do have thattechnology like in one all in
one solution in a sports process.
I'm pretty excited about that.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Yeah, congratulations
, that's awesome, thank you.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
It's taken, you know,
like, like I said, it's, it's,
it's actual engineering.
I mean all the props to theseladies who know what they're
doing, because I'm sure, and thethe science and the technology
that you know the engineering ittakes to create stuff like this
.
It's been cool to watch, beencool to be a part of.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Oh, I bet I bet.
And you're so right.
I mean, I feel like jeans, swimsuits and sports bras are so
hard to find right, the onethat really fits you.
So how did you go about findingthe right person to help you
design this and then have itcome to fruition?
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Yeah.
So I just searched online tosee who was out there and I came
across a woman named HeatherZager, with Made Apparel in
Seattle Washington.
She is just like, oh my gosh, Ijust fell in love with her.
The experience was really cool.
So I'd never even heard ofMarco Polo before.
Have you heard of that app?
Yeah, okay, I'd never used itbefore.
So she introduced me to it andwe were communicating with that
(09:06):
and it was just like a lot ofyou know, trial and error, you
know just conversations back andforth, and I'd mail her
material and she would, you know, I was telling her what I was
envisioning and what I wasseeing and she was actually
making it work with you know, sewing it and she'd mail back
the sample and I'd test it andit was just like iteration after
(09:26):
iteration from just trial anderror.
So she, yeah, it took a longtime just from the you know,
just having to wait for the mail.
So that part kind of wasn'tgreat because I'm not a very
patient person, yeah.
And then I came across LauraTreece and she's with Fashion
Tech KC, so she's just up theroad, okay, and she's helping me
(09:47):
with the production.
So these are all sewn by Burmeserefugees in Kansas City.
So yeah, we're really.
These ladies are fantastic atwhat they do Like super high
quality work, wonderful humanbeings, like it's just been, all
of it has just been.
I know this might sound kind ofsilly but have you ever picked
(10:12):
a word of the year?
Have you ever participated?
May I ask what your word of theyear is for 2025?
Well, I didn't do one in 2025.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Okay, well, what?
Was last year's word, but Ihave a client that every you
know I do.
I FaceTime with her and everyJanuary we're like what's your
word, what's your word?
I think, mine last year wasempowerment or something like
that.
Okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
I was just I love
hearing what other people's
words are and stuff I picked theword bewildered for 2025.
Okay, yeah, I know it's a weirdone, but I like, I love, but I
like, I love that.
I love that feeling.
Like the way I experience thefeeling of bewilderment is like
(10:54):
just in a sort of a state of aweand amazement, like holy shit,
is that?
Is that actually happening?
Like in a good way, you know,in the best way possible.
And it's crazy because, like2025, so far that's just all
it's been.
It's just like I said yesterdaylike it's coming in hot.
You know, it's just like allthese wonderful things just kind
(11:16):
of keep coming together andyeah, I've just been like
constantly bewildered so far in2025.
And I'm just like hoping tocontinue.
You know like, yeah, continuethat.
It's been a lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Oh, I love that for
you.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
And you had said that yourdouble D's.
We don't need to say my size, but I am not that large.
We don't need to say my size, but I am not that large.
Still important for our tissueto make sure that we protect and
support everything.
So speak to that just a littlebit.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
I'm so glad you
brought that up.
So I actually met a friend lastnight at the gym for her to do
some testing for me.
So she's a.
I wrote down all of her, like Iwrote down all the things, so
I'm keeping track of all of thisstuff.
Um, but she's a B cup, she.
She wears the 34 B, she's 50years old, um, and we did 30
seconds of burpees, um, 30seconds mountain climbers in the
(12:10):
plank position, 30 secondsmountain climbers in the
standing position, and she didthat without racks, just wearing
her regular, her regular sportsbra, and then she put the flex
on the one in the middle here.
So she did it both with andwithout.
And I asked her, like on ascale of one to 10, like one
being, you didn't notice anydifference at all and 10 being,
(12:32):
I never want to work out withoutthis again.
The answer to that question waseight.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
And she's a yeah
Again.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
the answer to that
question was eight and she's a
yeah, so it's, the thing is, youdon't have to be really chesty
in order to notice the benefitsof this product, because the
thing is, all breast tissuemoves.
I mean it all moves.
It doesn't matter how much ofit you have, if you have it,
it's moving.
Yeah, now, I do think that, infact, I know, as I've seen, you
(12:58):
know, been looking at thesestudies and stuff that you know,
the larger your breasts, kindof, the more it affects your
physical impact, yourperformance, um, but that's what
gets me really, really excitedabout what I'm really wanting to
achieve here.
Um, the the number one goal forme is to help women who were
either modifying workouts nothave to modify or, if they were
(13:19):
avoiding working out altogetherbecause they couldn't find a
sports bra, that was adequateenough.
Support or control.
I'm going to say the wordcontrol because to me, support
is it kind of insinuates fromthe bottom up.
Yeah, okay, so to me, I'm, I'mlooking, you know, I think most
women are looking for somethingthat provides more control.
Okay, this product doesn't pushthem down, by the way, either.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Right, right, right.
You don't want that.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
No, it's not like um.
I mean like most sports brasrely on, you know, like a couple
of different things, basicallyjust compression, either just
like tight, tight, tight inorder to try to provide control,
or the cinching higher, whichdoes help reduce bounce, but
again it just puts extrapressure on the shoulders.
So I wanted to create somethingthat didn't put the pressure on
(14:07):
the shoulders, didn't have tobe tight and you have more
control than something that youknow was way tighter.
So that was the ultimate goaland I think we really was way
tighter.
So that was the ultimate goaland I think we really yeah, I
think we got.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
I think we nailed it
Nice, nice.
Well, when I saw that yousigned up for the call for today
, I'm like, okay, I've got toget one of these bras before
then, cause.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
I want to try it.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
I'm like okay, that's
okay.
I can get it afterwards, because I do want to do a
product review of a lot ofthings that you know I've tried
over with some of the guys, sothat'll be a fun one to do.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Yeah, I would love to
.
I would love to get yourfeedback.
I'm meeting another friendtonight at the gym Cause I'm I'm
really just wanting to get youknow feedback.
Like dad, you know, I want todo like quantitative and
qualitative, so I want to.
I want to have the how manyreps can you get in?
You're like, let's MRAP this,let's.
How many reps can you get in 30seconds without it?
(14:59):
And then you know you're,you're going full out.
So no, no difference in effort.
Yeah, Not, not any differentdifference in perceived effort.
Yeah, Okay, Okay, and then fullout again with it on and see if
there's a difference.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
That's awesome and I
feel like it would be good for
post-op as well, for anyone thathad any type of augmentation or
whether it's some kind ofbreast cancer.
You know surgeries, I wouldthink that would be really
helpful.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Yeah.
So I think the, especially themax, and you know, with the
adjustability, you know, becauseif somebody is dealing with a
mastectomy or even a lumpectomyand they're not having any type
of correct you know I don't wantto say the word corrective
because there's nothing tocorrect there's nothing wrong
with them, Right Right, there'snothing wrong with their breasts
(15:48):
.
But if they're not having acosmetic procedure following
that, they're going to have, youknow, difference in size and
shape, and so that's somethingthat sort of was lacking in the.
No, difference in size andshape, and so that's something
that sort of was lacking in thein the market altogether, Um, I
think, probably, uh, especiallyin sports bras, you know.
So, um, maybe nice to havesomething in the as an option.
(16:11):
And I'll tell you what, like mybrain, it just does not stop.
Like the, the, the amount ofideas I have up here is almost
overwhelming sometimes, you know, Um, but from the
entrepreneurial standpoint, Ihave up here is almost
overwhelming sometimes, you know, but from the entrepreneurial
standpoint, I have to, like I'vegot to get some traction with
this before I can continue tocreate new things.
So that's kind of where I amright now as far as as far as
(16:33):
innovation like, yeah, just sofar these three, but there's lot
of sure there other potential.
You know we you got to test itand see if it's even a
worthwhile, worthwhile idea.
But there's certainly noshortage of ideas up there I'm
an idea person too, so I totallyunderstand it.
Yeah, yeah, I do.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
Oh my gosh, it's too
much right, right, and I tend to
okay, I'm going to start this.
Oh wait, I've got to finishthis first before I do that.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Yeah, Right, yeah,
cause you're so excited.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Right, right, right.
So are you in stores or is itjust that you purchase online?
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Um, right now it's
mainly online.
Um, I did.
I mean, I just walked into astore in Wichita.
I was in a cohort for not beingan entrepreneurial side of
things.
I was in a cohort in Wichitaover a year ago now and I just
walked in and introduced myselfand had a great conversation
with the store owner and hepurchased some that day.
So, there, he's got some there.
(17:30):
Unless he's sold out, I need tocheck in with him.
I had a tack shop in WestVirginia, purchased some.
So, yeah, okay, yeah, so likeit's one of those things where
also is, you know, like Icreated it, basically created it
for myself, like I just wantedit, you know, and then, like I
said, all these things kind ofcontinue happening.
(17:51):
There are sort of these for mebewildering moments where it's
like, you know, I had a crosscountry coach have her kid wear
it and she ran faster.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Hey, sorry to
interrupt.
I hope you are getting superexcited about the Racks sports
bra.
If you are local in the KansasCity area.
Frankie is going to be teachinga class at my fitness studio
and she's allowing us that halfof the class we're going to be
able to wear the Racks sportsbra and half of it without.
So it's kind of like a trybefore you buy type of deal.
(18:23):
If you'd like that information, reach out to me.
You could text me at913-392-2877, or you can email
me at info at spandexandwinecomor just find me on social media.
If you are not local, well, goon the website, check it out.
You can also message me for meto give you my honest opinion
and those of the ladies in myclass.
(18:45):
And, who knows, maybe herproduct might come with me on
some of my workshops that I'mgoing to be doing across the
country.
All right, let's get back tothe episode.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Like she was running
faster, like unknowingly.
So when, when my friend told methat, I was like oh yeah, get
it, kid, like I thought she justmeant that she was putting
forth more effort, you know, andshe's like no, frankie, like
she's running faster.
And then she was telling mewhat she was observing and the
way her form was different, versus with it off, and that was
before I ever launched, likethat was just in some of the
(19:18):
product testing stuff, like justkind of getting feedback from
people.
And I mean that was one of thosemoments where I was like like,
oh my God, are you seriously?
Because I didn't create it withthe intention of it improving
performance.
I just wanted to be morecomfortable.
It was a selfish creation, youknow.
I just I wanted it for myself.
And then that's kind ofcontinued to happen, where I'm
(19:39):
getting that kind of feedback.
Like I had a um this is anotherone of my favorite stories.
Like I had a woman who came upto my booth before a race Um, it
was uh, uh, the Memorial dayrace in Kansas city.
Um, and you know, she bought a,she bought the flex and I
didn't, you know, didn't reallythink anything.
I was just kind of havingconversations with lots of
(20:00):
people.
Well, after the race was over, she came back to the booth and
told me that she wore it for therace and just kind of had this
glowing review and she was likeit's the most fun.
Yeah, it's really hard to putinto words how, how fun it is to
(20:21):
actually see the impact thatit's making, whether they're
just more comfortable or ifthey're more confident.
Like that probably means moreto me than anything.
I have one um testimonialreview whatever you want to call
it from a woman who literallysaid her confidence is more than
doubled and like that kind ofstuff, like makes me cry, you
know, yes, like that's a bigdeal.
But even as kind of part of myorigin story too.
(20:42):
I mean, it's not when you're inyour body.
You experience your.
You know, you've experiencedthis for over years.
You know, like, um, I wasfrustrated as an adult.
But when I was a kid like ahigh school kid I ran in town
from a really, really small townand I always ran the same route
.
So it was like, you know, I ranthe same route because I knew
(21:05):
there would be no dogs on thatroute.
No dogs would come chase me.
But there was also a guy whoknew that that was the route
that I ran and he wouldliterally just like go park and
watch me.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Yeah, and I'm like
this is this is real, this is
like this is what people are, this is what women are really
dealing with, um, and as a young, as a young person what?
16 years old or whatever like Ididn't know what to do with
that.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Right.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
You know what do you
do.
So it was like well, I couldeither run faster, which only
made the bouncing worse.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Yeah.
Or I could slow, I could walkand prolong the amount of time
that I'm getting stared at.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Yeah, like these are
my options, or I can turn around
and go back and, like you know, this was before GPS watches.
You know I have a goal and Iwas 16 so I did have goals at
that time.
So I was like I'm trying to runthis route in this amount of
time yeah so it's not like itwas all the time.
It's not.
It's not like he was you thetime.
It's not.
It's not like he was, you know, watching me, like daily, or
anything, but it that's not thepoint.
(22:03):
The point is this is you knowwhen you this happens?
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
Um, and I think about
, like young women who, um, at
whatever age that could possiblybe avoiding participating in
sports because of it you know, whether it's physical discomfort
or more of a, an emotionaldiscomfort, it it doesn't matter
.
I don't want them to feel thatdiscomfort.
I want them to feel likeconfident and capable and ready
(22:34):
to perform, whether they'regetting getting hit in the track
, the, the treadmill, the court, the, whatever, like the mat,
you know.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Yeah, matter of fact,
mentioning the mat, like I'm
getting pretty excited aboutthis too, because I this is a
little crazy.
I don't know exactly what therule is, but I've just recently
learned that they had toimplement a new rule regarding
sports bras in wrestling.
Oh, okay, like this is a like anew thing, I guess, and it's
(23:05):
kind of I don't want to say any,I don't know how to say this
it's kind of crazy to me thatthat it's a rule, that they,
that they, this is going to thismight sound a little bold, but
quite frankly, I don't think weneeded a rule change.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Ah, okay.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Like what girl wants
to have?
What high school girl wants tohave her boob come out of her
bra.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Right.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Like yeah, no, like
trying to have got like this
isn't, this was they didn't.
They don't need a rule, theyneed their gear.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yes, the gear they
need didn't exist or they would
be wearing it.
So I'm really excited to beable to offer those kids
something that's actually goingto hold them, because the straps
of racks prevent upward andlateral movement yeah so you
know that that I get prettyexcited about that too.
(23:57):
Like they need to be able toget out on that mat and focus on
what they're there to do not bedistracted or worrying about,
you know, any kind of movementor any of that kind of stuff.
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
I'm so excited for
you because I see so many
possibilities for this.
It's amazing yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
That's what I mean
about the bewilderment.
I'm like what Like and thenjust like kind of the things
that have happened along the wayand the conversations and the
people that I'm meeting and, um,like I, I am getting re.
I've been really excited andI'm going to be really honest
with you too right now.
If that's all right, okay.
Um, like sales are not where Iwant them to be, you know, um,
(24:42):
but I think it's because I'mlearning how to do this.
I've never done it before.
You know, I'm trying to figureit out as I go.
I have no idea how to, how todo this really, Um, but there is
.
There's been a lot of progressin other types of ways, you know
.
So I know it's going to cometogether.
But, like, I just really deeplyappreciate the questions and
your willingness to to askquestions and have a
conversation about it, becausethe thing is, as I see it, like
(25:05):
the women or the girls who couldbenefit from from racks, like
they just don't even have anyidea it exists.
And when you're talking tosomebody like myself that, like
I, literally used laundry changeto get to an event because I
didn't have enough money to putgas in my tank.
You know, like this is the lifeof an entrepreneur, you know,
yes, no, I hear you yeah.
(25:25):
I mean this is I'm notcomplaining, Like it to me it's.
It's a fun story.
Like I, I use that laundrychange.
I got gas in my tank and I wentto that event and I sold out
and I was able to pay for my gasto get home.
So it's fine, but it's um, it's.
It's also, I think, okay to askfor help, you know.
Yes, yeah, yeah so definitelyin a position at this point to
(25:48):
just be straight up asking forhelp.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Okay.
How can the listeners find youthen?
How can they get their hands ontheir, their own product?
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah, so I'm, um, I'm
terrible at social media, but I
do have social media um pages.
So we're on Facebook, instagram, youtube, okay, um, tik TOK,
and they're all my racks.
So it's M Y W R A X, um, and sois the website.
So that's, of course, thewwwmywraxcom, and I realize
(26:25):
that's like kind of a crazy wayto spell it, but there's a sort
of a little story that goes withthe spelling too.
Okay, do tell.
So my dad was an entrepreneur.
Unfortunately, we lost him manyyears ago.
I'm sorry, it's okay.
He was fantastic and we'reappreciative of the time we had.
Um, he named me.
My middle name is Frankie, myname is Frankie Ray, and he
(26:46):
chose my name, um, and my middlename is spelled W R E Y, so the
W R A X is like kind of like mynap, my nod to my dad, you know
like kind of my.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Oh, I'm going to tear
up.
Oh, that's so sweet.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Thanks.
I mean, if I really think aboutit, I would tear up too.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
But instead I think.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
I'm just going to
have a drink of wine.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Yeah, there you go,
there you go.
Okay, now everyone listeningyou guys need to go to the
website and get your own productand then I'm assuming like
testimonials and reviews wouldbe great for you oh my gosh, yes
, and I'm terrible about askingfor them, or I was.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
I'm going to phrase
that in a way that's going to
help me move forward with abetter habit of just straight up
asking because I think peoplewant to.
I mean, I'm the same way youknow I just buy something and I
don't follow through withletting the person I purchased
it from know what I, what myexperience is, and that, yeah,
of course I mean, I thinkespecially something like this.
It's kind of it's a totallydifferent way of going about it.
(27:42):
I realized that and sometimeswhen people, when women, look at
it, I've had women make somepretty crazy comments about what
they think it is If they don'treally know what it is.
So I get it.
It's just, it's a, it's adifferent, it's a new product
with a different approach and um, other other people's
(28:03):
experiences are always helpfulin getting a person to
understand.
What does this actually feellike?
What is it going to do for me?
And that's they deserve to knowthat.
But I will put out there toothat, um, we do have a 30 day
money back guarantee.
It's um, not just that like, Iwill pay for this, for you to
ship it back to me if you don'tlike it.
That's um, that's uh, just howmuch I believe in it.
(28:27):
Um, and yeah, I think peoplelike it's experiential.
You know, I get it.
People want to put it on first.
Sure, sure.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Okay, so I have one
more question for you, because,
like taking off a sweaty sportsbra is one of the hardest things
is like part of a workout, sotell me about getting it on and
off.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Yeah, I love that you
asked that question.
So I acknowledge that very, Ivery that I've had a lot of
experiences.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
I've had to have my
husband help me before I'm like,
yeah, all right, I've had tohave my husband help me before.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
I'm like, yeah, all
right, for real, I'm a
volleyball player, so myshoulder has just been destroyed
over the years, right, surgeries and all the things.
So when a bra is so tight, withthe compression I mean, I think
it starts with puttingsomething on your body that's
really actually too small in anattempt to get the control that
you need, right.
So, first of all, you don'tneed it to be that tight and
(29:19):
it's hard.
Sometimes people are like it's,it's a new concept, it's, it's
something you just have toexperience.
Um, I love when women get tocome into my booth and I get to
put the the um harnesses on over.
You can just put them.
They put them on over theirshirts.
They can get the experience.
If you go to the social mediachannels, you'll see some of
those experiences that womenhave had with it on over their
shirt and I'll tell them like, see, you don't have to have this
(29:41):
tight.
This isn't tight, is it?
And they'll be like no, andthey're just like it's, I get it
, it's experiential.
But I very much appreciate youasking that question because you
know I, if I had a sports braand it's too tight, I literally
have to bend over at the waistand like kind of I can't pull it
up over my head standingbecause my shoulder hurts
(30:03):
Shoulder.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Yeah, so I have to
kind of try to put myself in a
inverted position to take my braoff.
Um, I'm sure it's hilarious,like, yeah, I'm sure it's
entertaining to watch and, to adegree, but yeah, it's a
challenge, um so, um, there'sthat.
Yeah, they're machine washable, hang dry, you know, pretty low
(30:28):
maintenance, high quality, sothey should last quite a way,
quite a while.
One of the things I would sayabout the harnesses um, I love
that we have the sports bra now.
I think that women are reallygoing to love that.
It's like an all-one thing.
However, there is an advantageto the harness, and it's that
you've already got a ton ofsports bras right.
I mean, how many sports bras doyou?
Speaker 1 (30:47):
have.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
It's true.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Yes, no, I don't even
know I would yeah, right.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
Yeah, it's kind of
ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Sometimes you're like
you probably don't wear all of
them right when you're no,because some of them aren't my
favorite anymore and yeahthey're like at the back of the
drawer, at the bottom orwhatever.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
What's nice about the
harnesses is you can put the
harness over any of those, butyou put the harness over your
lowest performing, like the.
It could be like a lounge bra.
You put the harness withsomething like that and you'll
get a more controlled experiencethan you'll have with your best
sports bra alone.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Nice, I didn't even
think about that.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
That's yeah, that's
great, yeah, so you, actually
can save money, I guess, is whatI'm saying because you can.
Essentially, you're repurposingwhat you already have, rather
than going out and buying abunch, and I mean it depends on
how much a person works out toyou Like I don't, depending on
(31:43):
what I'm doing, I don't wash theharness every time I wear it.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
You know, just hang
it up and let it dry and wear it
again.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Yeah, You're putting
it over.
Yeah, yeah, okay, right, so, um, yeah, it's an opportunity to
actually save some bucks we alllike that.
Might not have to dig into thatlaundry change quite so often.
That's right.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
Oh my gosh, this has
been so fun.
I've really enjoyed talkingwith you and getting to know you
.
I feel just your energy.
I can just feel how awesome youare.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Thank you.
I appreciate that, like I, justI like doing podcasts.
I love meeting new people, especially people who are trying
to make a difference.
You know like get someinformation out there and
sometimes just just informationis all people really need.
You know can make a big, bigimpact in their day.
I would love to meet you at thegym, like yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
You could come to one
to our classes, like I have 6am
and 8am, if you want someladies to try it.
Oh, you can do it, you can doit, I can do it.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
I can do it.
Yeah, I would love to do that.
If you want to figure out atime, let's do it.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
Yeah, let's set it up
Cool, I like that.
Okay, We'll talk after I yeah, after we click off record, we'll
get that squared away.
Is there anything else you wantto share with the listeners?
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Um, I, you know, just
appreciate, you know,
appreciate feedback and if, ifit's, um, not even just for
myself, like anytime, especiallyyou're, if you are dealing with
a small business, you know, andsomebody, if you see somebody
has created something, orthey're, they're um, working
towards a personal goal orprofessional goal, I just think
(33:16):
feedback is so extremely, extremely valuable and it's just
not provided, you know.
So I just encourage everybodyto just like be willing to share
your experience and if it's nota positive one, I think, still
share it.
Just don't share it on socialmedia.
Yes, please Go directly to theperson and say hey, you know,
(33:38):
this is, this is great, I lovewhat you're doing.
This is something that I thinkis an area of improvement, or
maybe an opportunity to make itlike that's also deeply
appreciated, because generally,we want our product to be the
best it can be, and it takes, ittakes time and it takes paying
attention and listening to those, those comments and feedback.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
So, yeah, yeah,
awesome, well, thank you so much
, frankie.
Thank you for taking time outof your schedule.
I know it's crazy.
Yeah, well, okay, and we'redrinking wine, so I don't have
any wine.
Oh, dang it.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
I mean I just on the
wall.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
It's on the wall.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
I'll have two glasses
then.
Oh, that's so.
I mean it's on the wall, it'son the wall, I'll have two
glasses then oh, that's so niceof you, you're so kind, always
giving.
All right.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Well, thank you, and
you take care.
I can't wait to hear abouteverything that's going to
happen for you in 2025.
