Oh, it's just, it's such abeautiful book, you guys.

But Navrit, please feel free tosay hi, tell us a bit about
yourself.
Just welcome to the show.
SPEAKER_00 (02:07):
Ah, yes.
Thank you so much.
I'm so excited to be here.
And I'm just thinking, like, addme to that Facebook group.
That sounds amazing.
And I really hope theconversation and the things we
get into today like contributeto all that.
So I'm very excited and thankyou for having me.
SPEAKER_01 (02:24):
Oh, thank you so
much for coming on.
Now tell me a little bit moreabout when did you start feeling
like you wanted to write thisbook?
SPEAKER_00 (02:31):
I had a dream, and I
think this dream was in
February, like a literal dreamin February.
And I remember in this dreamgetting handed a book, and I
remember seeing the name on it,but then when I woke up, I
forgot the name.
So then it got me thinking, like, what does that mean?
(02:53):
Why did I kind of know the name?
Like, I feel like it's runningsomewhere in my subconscious
that name that was actually onthat book.
And who knows, maybe it wasactually this.
Like, I don't know.
So that drove me on this wholejourney of like, okay, does that
mean I'm supposed to write abook?
And the title is my book.
(03:14):
And I've written, you know, I'ma copywriter, I'm also a
published author, but onlyebooks.
This is my first physical copy.
So I always knew I wanted to oneday create something and put
something together, whether itwas a journal, Oracle decks.
I love Oracle Dex.
But the a book, like a book isjust so timeless.
SPEAKER_01 (03:37):
It is so timeless.
And it looks so beautiful, youholding it up like that.
If anyone, if you're on thelistening podcast, Nevery's
holding up her book.
It's got this beautiful heartright in the center.
If my heart could talk.
And Neverie, if your heart couldtalk, what does it want to say?
What is the book telling us?
SPEAKER_00 (03:52):
Yes, it's sort of a
love letter to you, to your own
self.
And you know, while I waswriting this, I was really
inspired by oracles.
I have amazing oracle decks.
I went to events to promote thisbook, and at those events I did
oracle readings.
(04:14):
And that's sort of what the feelthat I wanted for this book as
well.
So, yes, there are fivedifferent sections in here.
So, starting with dear mother, dear father, dear inner child,
dear ancestors, dear heart.
But at the same time, like ifyou just open up to any page, I
(04:36):
want that to be the message thatyou need to hear right in that
moment.
So I knew I wanted that in mind.
So if my heart could talk, itwould say this book is kind of
your own little textbook andjourney.
I know it's a poem book, butit's just so much more than
that.
And I really hope that whoeverfinds this is able to see
(05:00):
something within themselves.
Maybe something comes up, maybethere is a healing moment or a
healing experience that waswaiting, but we just needed that
little activation.
And I find there's nothing moreactivating than words.
Words are just so powerful.
And if they have that rightfrequency to it, like you can
(05:22):
learn a lot.
So thank you for that question.
It it got me thinking as well.
SPEAKER_01 (05:27):
That's beautiful.
I love that.
And because it's a book ofpoetry, basically, there is no
like start or end.
It's not, you know, it's notlike the book I'm writing, which
has chapters and a how-to andmake sure you go in order or
else you know you're gonna messit all up.
Instead, this is like you said,it's almost as if you're picking
up an Oracle deck and you'reflipping through.
And you could just be like, okay, today I'm gonna flip
(05:48):
through the pages.
I'm gonna see which poem needsto speak to me.
And that's what I love mostabout it because as I was going
through it, I felt some of thepoems were so powerful,
especially in the inner childsection.
And maybe because those are theones that I needed in that
moment.
I felt like, oh my gosh, theseare so, so powerful.
But actually, I want to back upreal quick because I have a lot
of listeners, and I realize youand I are talking as if we know
(06:09):
what an Oracle deck is, likeeverybody does.
Can you explain to some of mylisteners that are like, what
the hell is an Oracle deck, Jen?
Because I only found out aboutthem maybe a couple years ago,
and now I am addicted andobsessed, and I'm also creating
one myself or to match my book.
So I'm so excited.
Yes, oh, we'll have to talkabout this like later as to what
to do as well.
Because I love these decks.
(06:30):
Yeah, this is so good.
So give me an explanation.
Talk to me as if I don't knowwhat an Oracle deck is.
What is one?
SPEAKER_00 (06:36):
Yes.
So I just pulled these two here.
This is the Inner Child Deck byAmanda Lynn Isling and the
Sacred Creators Oracle deck byChris Ann.
So there's so many.
I get mine at Indigo, but youknow, you can find so many
unique ones all over the place.
And they're essentially cardsthat have messages on them.
(07:00):
And yeah, I feel into theenergy, and usually cards flip
out.
I don't know, Jen, if you have abetter explanation.
I'm sure you do, but this isjust how my practice has been
with Oracle.
SPEAKER_01 (07:12):
Oh, like just that.
You're shuffling and a card justpopped out, didn't it?
It did.
Like you didn't do that onpurpose.
Like you're just shuffling and acard just popped out.
You're gonna be shocked by thecard as well.
Can I share it?
Please.
SPEAKER_00 (07:22):
It says, You are
living poetry.
SPEAKER_01 (07:25):
See, guys, like it's
energy, I'm telling you.
Oh my gosh, I love that.
You are living poetry.
Oh my goodness.
It just wanted to pop out andtell you that right now.
So I had a friend who taught mehow to do cards like that.
So I'd never done these before.
And she was like, Yeah, she justshuffles.
And as she's shuffling, she justwaits for something to kind of
(07:46):
pop out.
Because if you ever shuffle in adeck, you know, you kind of make
a mistake or you mess up, butyou know, and like something
pops out.
If it's not working, if I'mshuffling and like it's I'm
impatient and it hasn't comeout, I'll just like kind of cut
the deck and I'll find one.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
But oftentimes, yeah, I'll justbe shuffling and I'll do it very
loosely and then I'll just waitfor something to pop out, as we
saw with Neverie.
And then something pops out ofit, and then you feel it, and
(08:07):
you're like, oh my gosh, what isthis trying to tell me?
Now, for me personally, I don'tbelieve necessarily, and this is
just my belief, that it is likesome bigger thing.
I don't think it's like, I don'tknow how to explain it.
I'm I'm like this woo-woosciencey woo-woo person, if it
makes any sense.
Where it's like, I don't reallybelieve that like someone is
trying to give me a message.
But what I do believe for me isthat I could create meaning in
(08:30):
that card at any time.
And so, but like then, then youhave a card pop out that talks
about poetry, and now I don'tknow what I think anymore.
But how is it for you?
How do you really use thesecards?
Do you feel them internally?
Do you journal about it?
Tell me a little bit more.
SPEAKER_00 (08:45):
Recently, I have
just been doing cards for
others.
So, whether going live onInstagram or making videos and
kind of just doing more of acollective read.
I have to be honest, I have notbeen using them as much as I
would like because they havebeen great guidance, especially
when I was writing my book.
This is another thing that youknow I loved, I will forever
(09:07):
cherish my own journey that I'vehad with my own decks.
Like it's just a form of art, like anything else.
That's how I view it andapproach it.
Like, this is art.
The fact that we just had youare living poetry, like I think
even using cards is in itself anart form.
And like you said, you get toapply the meaning to it, and
(09:29):
that's what is art, that's whatis your art.
So while I was writing the book, you know, there were many, many
moments because it was a toughbook to write, I'm gonna be
honest.
So there were many moments whereI'm writing, I should be writing
from my heart, but it doesn'tfeel that way.
Like, of course, I want toembody the things I'm saying,
(09:52):
and when I write this, I want itto have that same energy where I
am writing from my heart, andit's supposed to be like from my
heart to your heart.
So that was really difficult.
I had to take pauses and belike, okay, this is getting too
much.
Let me just take a break.
SPEAKER_01 (10:09):
Talk me through that
difficult moment, if you don't
mind sharing.
Like, what was difficult aboutit for you?
What was it?
Was it your mind, your body, your heart?
Like, what was going on?
SPEAKER_00 (10:18):
Yeah, I think it was
just the actual messages that
were coming through for writingthis because I'm like, I would
never say this.
Like, for example, let's takethe dear father as an example.
Yeah.
Like, I have never expressedthis to my father.
I have no intent of expressingit, but now it's in a book that
(10:40):
I can just give to him and belike, hey, here.
SPEAKER_01 (10:44):
And is that your
real feelings, like in the book,
like towards your father, yourmother, your inner child?
Like, is this part of you?
Like you're you're bearing partof your soul to all of us,
aren't you?
That's like scary as hell, girl.
Like, I can't even imagine likehow you are feeling with all of
that.
Especially, you know, it's comeout, it it's it's starting to
(11:05):
get out there in the world.
What does that feel like to beseen this way?
SPEAKER_00 (11:08):
Different.
It feels different to be seenthis way because it's a lot of
vulnerable stuff.
But again, this is my ownjourney, and this is why I chose
this subtitle for the reasonthat I did Poems of Healing,
Honesty, and Coming Home.
So that coming home part is whythe chapters are the way that
(11:32):
they are, because they're likeif anyone benefits from this
book, it's already been me.
So now it's just it just gets tobe a beautiful gift and just
something I get to now share.
And I'm really excited because Ihave not exposed myself exposed.
I don't know if that's the rightword to use, but that's how I
feel is I have not put myselfout there.
SPEAKER_01 (11:54):
I think exposed is a
great word for that.
Writing a book is so much moreintensive than I ever expected.
Like I just thought, and again, this is we come from two
different like spaces in termsof our writing.
Yours is poetry and and art andbeauty and like parts of your
soul.
And mine is a little bit of mycoaching, a how-to, you know,
all these things.
But as I was writing it, theadvice I kept getting was like,
(12:15):
Jen, you need to make it morepersonal.
Like, you need to put yourselfinto this book.
And I was like, I it's weirdbecause like I'm an open book,
like I'll share my stories allthe time.
But all of a sudden, putting itdown in words, it felt different
than just speaking it out loud.
I could share my story on stage.
I can talk about my heartbreak.
I can talk about being pantlessand chugging white claws all
day, every day.
(12:36):
But all of a sudden now it's inwritten word, and I'm like, oh
shit, hold up.
This is like a different vibe.
There was this one beautifulpoem.
I wanted to grab it from yourbook.
Is would it be okay if I sharedit?
That I if I read it?
Yes.
Okay.
Yes.
It's stunning.
I forget which part it's from.
I have to check, but it's onpage, I think, 100.
But it says, oh, it's so good.
(12:57):
It's just so good.
It says, I forgive him.
So the chains end here.
His story does not need to bemine.
I bless his path.
I bless my own.
Together we walk lighter.
Like I'm gonna like start cryingagain if I read that.
Like, that's so freakingpowerful.
(13:17):
When you're coming up with thesepoems, that they're stunningly
beautiful, and they're just sojust they're almost like in your
face, simple, if that makes anysense.
It's like it took my breathaway.
Talk me through what that's likefor you, even hearing me say
that out loud.
SPEAKER_00 (13:35):
Thank you.
This conversation is soenlightening, and if the
audience that is watching this, like Jen, we're so grateful for
you.
I really like the a lot of thefeedback that I initially had
received was, and this is alsojust from me as well.
Me giving my own self-feedbackwas to add more of like scenery
(13:57):
to be a little bit more becauseyou're right, these poems are
direct, they are, you know, sortof meant to put simple things
that we maybe take for grantedinto a deeper perspective.
That's how I have healed througheven writing this.
(14:22):
Is each word, yes, there aresometimes can be like deep
messages and deep things mightcome up, but overall it's meant
to be like affirmations.
So you go on this journey, youend with that healing, you end
with honesty, you end withcoming home to yourself.
(14:43):
I hope.
SPEAKER_01 (14:44):
You know, that's
that's my absolutely putting
that out there, and that'sthat's really the goal that I
see as you're writing this.
And something that I talk aboutwith my women a lot is we talk
about attachment styles, andattachment styles are
essentially just the way that weformed to attach to our
caregivers in early childhoodbefore we could even walk or
speak, all of that stuff.
(15:05):
And so with attachment stylescomes our determination of how
our romantic relationships willbe later on in life.
And one of the interesting partshere is why I wanted to have you
on, is because you talk aboutthe father, you talk about the
mother, you talk about the innerchild.
This book is just like a walkinginvitation to heal your
attachment style.
Some of the stuff that you say, especially within like the
(15:27):
mother chapter, it is juststunningly beautiful to be able
to get some of those out becauseit's sometimes things that we
feel like we can't say out loud.
And that part is so, sodifficult.
And so as I'm reading throughthem again, I'm like, this is
healing a part of myself.
And I wanted to ask you in yourlife and your relationships,
(15:47):
what has it been like for you inthe past?
Have you had to go through anyheartbreaks or healing or
anything that the listenerswould resonate with?
SPEAKER_00 (15:56):
Yes, many
heartbreaks, many heartbreaks,
many losses, many things thatwere kind of lost due to
traumas.
So that in itself, likereflecting on especially the
inner child part, I had a chanceto sit down and like even though
I've been doing this work forthe past five, six years when I
(16:19):
really understood like themeaning of healing, I think that
word, and I would love youropinion on this too, but I think
that word has kind of lost itsmeaning, but it's still a
beautiful word, healing.
Healing though is not always Ithink this is why it's kind of
lost its meaning becausesometimes we don't want to do
(16:42):
that hard stuff, which is havingthose hard conversations,
setting boundaries, treatingyourself with respect.
And these things, like we'vekind of lost them, and we kind
of just want to get to thathealed version of ourselves, and
(17:03):
we are there.
Like, that's another thing thatI say.
Like, we're already healed, youknow, we're kind of just
remembering certain parts ofourselves that we left behind,
we maybe are neglecting, we'veforgotten about.
So we're just calling thoseparts back to ourselves and
saying, okay, you're welcomedhere, you're loved here, and
(17:25):
it's safe to be here.
And that safety is why I startedwith the mother, yes, the
physical mother, but also, youknow, if we take a step back,
like the spiritual mother, theenergetic mother, the feminine,
healing that, healing thefeminine.
(17:47):
So we do start the journey withthe physical mother because I
think if you can do that, if youcan learn how to, you know,
communicate with your mother ina way that maybe doesn't feel so
triggering if you have adifficult relationship with her.
So these are sort of the thingsthat I'm working on.
SPEAKER_01 (18:06):
Yeah, and you can
see that through the book.
One last poem that I wanted toshare was one in your inner
child section, which I thoughtwas really beautiful and really
spoke to me.
But it was, and I think it's onpage 169, but it says, Dear
inner child, they called youconceited when all you were was
sunlight.
I will never bow to that.
(18:26):
Your light was never arrogance,it was truth, and it scared
them.
I choose to honor your path, notapologize for the light that
reminds them of their shadows.
Just mic drop right there.
Like, are you kidding me?
Like, I just that's it.
I just want to like listen toyou read your poems all the
time.
Like, I can't wait for youraudiobook so I can fall asleep
(18:48):
to it at night.
Because it's just so, sobeautiful.
And Navri, thank you so much forcoming on the show today.
Can you tell us a little bitmore about where we can find
your book?
Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_00 (19:00):
Yes, the book is
available on Amazon.
So Amazon, and I also have thelink in my bio on Instagram.
SPEAKER_01 (19:09):
Perfect.
And I'll be sure to put the linkin the show notes as well.
Well, I'm gonna put the link forthe book in the show notes
again.
It's called If My Heart CouldTalk.
You can get on Amazon in Canada,America, or wherever it is that
you are.
I'll stick one of both links.
And then yes, Navrit is onInstagram and she has this
beautiful, beautiful page onInstagram that's so
inspirational.
What is your handle onInstagram, Navrit?
(19:30):
Yeah, it's just my name with adot in the middle.
So Navrit.pabla.
Navrit.pabla.
So that's n-a-v-r-e-e-t.pablaP-A-B-L-A.
Again, I'll put that in the shownotes too, but it's a really
beautiful Instagram where shegoes on there a lot and she'll
go on there live or she'll go onthere in video reels, but she
also just has beautiful poetryand her quotes and all these
(19:53):
things.
And it's just, you know, I justfor me, I like to be uplifted
when I'm on Instagram.
So I just really enjoy your pagea lot.
I think it's beautiful.
But as we're wrapping up today,is there anything else that you
just want?
There's a woman right there now,and she's listening to the
podcast, and she's like feelingyour poems, she's feeling you,
she's feeling you energetically, she loves your vibe.
What would you want to tell her?
SPEAKER_00 (20:14):
It can be a lot, and
I would just say you are doing
enough, you are exactly whereyou're meant to be in this
moment.
So if you're just feelingrushed, if you feel like you
have somewhere to get to, and ifyou don't even know where that
getting to is, I would say startfocusing on your why.
(20:41):
Like that, this is something Ihave been screaming lately,
because especially for me, it'svery easy to focus on things
that are not you know helpfulfor me and my growth.
And so thank you for sharingthat inner child poem because
it's so relevant and focusingmore on the light and focusing
(21:03):
more on what I want to create, what I want to share.
And this book is kind of thestepping stone into that.
SPEAKER_01 (21:10):
That's beautiful.
Yeah.
So that's good.
You're telling them focus onyour why.
I mean, that's such a goodimportant lesson.
Why is it that we're doing this?
So people come to me and they'relike, hey, you know, I want to
heal my attachment, I want toget a better relationship.
But like, why?
That's such a good, what's yourintention, right?
What do you want to focus on?
What brings you joy?
What brings you light?
What's gonna fill you back upagain?
(21:31):
Like, don't just focus on, Ineed to heal because I'm broken,
because you're not broken,right?
Like none of us are broken.
We we might have these parts inus, like as you said earlier,
that maybe they feel hurt orthey feel sad or they weren't
loved enough as a child, butthat doesn't mean we can't start
loving them today.
And that's really what I wouldjust love to make sure that
(21:52):
anyone listening could reallyhear through all of this is that
you're not broken.
All right, Navri, why don't yousend us off?
Wait, I want you to pull a cardfor the listeners.
Can we do that?
Yes.
Let's shuffle, let's pull a cardfor everyone listening right
now.
This is for your energies.
I want to pull one and see whatwe want to end this with.
(22:12):
What did everyone out there needto know today?
SPEAKER_00 (22:15):
This is exciting
because this is my inner child
deck.
So I think we ended beautifullywith the inner child.
So yeah, let's see if there'sany messages for the one
glistening for the inner cows.
SPEAKER_01 (22:30):
I'm sending my
energy towards you as well.
SPEAKER_00 (22:32):
I cannot wait for
your oracle decks.
SPEAKER_01 (22:35):
Oh, I can't wait for
it to, yeah.
I have all these affirmationsand somatic processes on them.
I think it'll be really cool.
Well, as Navreed is shuffling, Ijust want to remind you guys.
This is good.
You take your time, girl.
Keep shuffling.
As Navreed is shuffling, I'mgonna remind you guys to go and
join the free Facebookcommunity, Speak Honest.
Did one pop out?
No, okay, we're still going.
Nope, we're still going.
Okay, no, it's good.
(22:55):
I'll wait till you hold it up.
I'm gonna I'll wait till youhold it up.
So go join the free Facebookcommunity, Speak Honest, and be
able to come in there.
Tell us what you think aboutthis card that I think just
popped out if I saw it.
All right, go on.
SPEAKER_00 (23:08):
It's so relevant,
and even the card taking long is
symbolic in itself.
I always take that as like slowdown.
And the card we have is practicefreedom, release the weight of
judgment.
SPEAKER_01 (23:25):
Practice freedom,
release the weight of judgment.
Oh, that's huge.
I love that so much.
Oh, thank you.
So practice freedom, release theweight of judgment.
I feel like you pulled thatspecifically for me, so thank
you.
That's why the message tooklonger.
I was focusing on thecollective.
Yeah, I think that we're in thistogether with me and my ladies,
(23:47):
and we're that's something thatwe've all been struggling with a
lot in my relationship rebootprogram that you guys can come
and join at any time.
In the relationship rebootprogram, we work through the 12
steps in order to heal yourattachment style.
And right now, there seems to bea big theme where the women they
just feel trapped right now.
And so I really feel like youpulled that for all of us, and
we're just feeling trapped,we're feeling weighed down.
I I know, especially here in theStates, the state of the world
(24:09):
right now is really difficultfor women.
And it's just like all of thisstuff is going on.
So that car just felt sobeautiful and so needed right
now.
So thank you so much.
And again, everyone, go checkout Neveret's book on Amazon
while you're there.
You can also go check out mybook, Dance of Attachment, if
it's out.
If not, go todanceofattachment.com.
It will be coming out inOctober.
And I hope to see you all in LAif you're able to make it out to
(24:32):
my book launch party out there.
And for anyone else that's outthere listening, just remember
be free, be yourself.
You know, you are the light.
You are chosen, you aresunlight, you are beautiful, you
are not broken.
And I hope that you all have abeautiful day.
Never, thank you so much forcoming on, and I hope you have a
beautiful day.
SPEAKER_00 (24:49):
Thank you so much.
