Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello everyone, welcome to our spiritual
spotlight series.
Today I am joined by MikeMartin.
He is he was introduced to andexploring interdimensional
portals and gateways for thepast 26 years.
He is the author of my DarkExplorations Portals, gateways,
astral.
This is a cover of the bookright there, which is a pretty
cool cover, mike.

(00:23):
Thank you so much for coming onthe spiritual spotlight series.
I'm happy you're here.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Thank you for having me.
I'm happy to be here.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
So tell us about what happened 26 years ago, that you
kind of were astral projectingand then suddenly you're
redirected.
So tell me about thatexperience.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Well, I'll start back .
When I was younger, I startedhaving these experiences that I
didn't know what they were, andso at the time it kind of
frightened me.
I was just maybe anywherebetween the ages of five and
maybe 10.
I was sick a lot as a kid and Iwould be laying in bed or just
laying in bed when I woke up inthe morning, and then the next

(01:00):
thing I know my face is right atthe ceiling.
So immediately I would justkind of go into padding mode and
then I was back and I didn'tunderstand it.
Of course, this is back in theearly 70s.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, nobody talked about this kind of stuff then,
oh no.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
This was non-existent back then so I didn't mention
it to anybody.
I didn't want anybody to thinkI was weird.
I didn't want to be singled out, so I just kind of put it aside
.
Then, when I was in my early20s, I read about the first time
I read about out-of-bodyexperiences, astral projection.
I read about Robert Monroe'sbook Journeys Out of the Body,

(01:36):
great book, and I was totallyintrigued.
And then it wasn't until I hadmy first out-of-body experience,
the controlled one, that Iremembered that this is
basically what I was having as akid.
So I kind of put the two andtwo together.
It took me from the time I readthe book until the time I had
my first experience was about ayear, so it was a year of just
really pushing, training myselfto become conscious during my

(02:01):
dream so that I could use thatas a gateway to get to the
astral.
And that's what I ended updoing.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
So when you're traveling to the astral, you
find yourself going intodifferent portals and different
dimensions.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Now, Well, the first time, the first controlled
out-of-body experience I had, Ibasically ended up on the side
of my house.
It was probably midnight, itwas in the wintertime, and I was
kind of hovering over 10 footoff the ground over in the side
of my house, just looking around.
I was completely amazed that Iwas successful and I knew at
that point yeah, this is true, Ibelieve it.

(02:34):
I had to convince myself.
So at that point then I cameback into my body and then I
said, okay, now that I'veactually succeeded, I should be
able to progress much fasterthan I had.
And that didn't happen that way.
I kept trying the same methodsand it just wasn't working for
me.
And then, maybe six months ormore later, I tried again,

(02:57):
became conscious in a dream andinstead of being pulled out and
going into the astral, I waspulled back into bed with my
eyes closed, laying on my side.
It was fully conscious andthat's when the first portal
appeared.
So I could have at any timeopened my eyes, and when these
portals, when they occur, Icould at any time open my eyes.

(03:19):
But if I do, it breaks theconnection.
So I saw this oval shape in theblack background of what you
see when you're in a dark roomsleeping with your eyes closed,
and it was an aerial view at anangle of an ocean city, and then

(03:39):
around it had a bunch ofsymbols that he didn't
understand.
It looked like some kind ofwriting, but I had no idea.
So I sat there for about maybe20 to 30 seconds and, just kind
of an amazement, I was like, wow, what's this?
And then it just faded away andthat was the first time that it
happened in the mid 90s.
And then after that well, sincethen I've had hundreds of them.

(04:01):
They appear, I become consciousin a dream, I'm immediately
pulled out of the dream and tothere.
So basically I bypassed theastral, I basically can't enter
it, but these portals areappearing and they come with
information, just all kind ofstuff.
So that was my first experienceand I didn't know what to make

(04:23):
up.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
So with these portals .
I know you've had hundreds ofexperiences with these, which I
think is amazing.
Can you maybe share a couple ofyour?
These are this was profound.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
The one that was kind of the most different Game.
There was a two.
There's a two dimensional world.
I can't really explain, yeah, Ican't explain how we get there,
but it's through the portal.
And eventually the portals wentfrom an oval to my full
peripheral vision.
Now, when you're using yourthird eye, your vision is a much

(04:58):
wider range.
So it's like going from a 65inch TV to a 200 inch TV.
So you know your visual rangeis so much better.
So it opened up fully.
And then I was, actually Ivisited a two dimensional world
and basically what it was isblack and white.
There was a mountainous terrainand there was these creatures

(05:21):
that were kind of like birds.
They had the shape, buteverything was very sharp on on
the, on their features.
But when you're connected to aportal it's not just a visual
you are able to see, feel andconnect with.
If there's somebody else thereor the environment, you
automatically know what it'slike.
So I knew they were there, but Ialso knew that they could be

(05:43):
very dangerous.
It was just weird I could and,but they knew that I was, I
wasn't harmful.
It's like walking into a den ofwild animals and them knowing
that you're, you're notdangerous and you knowing that
they're not dangerous, so youfeel comfortable.
And that was the only time thatI've seen that two dimensional
area.
But it was more of a connectionwith something that I had

(06:06):
absolutely no idea that evenexisted, and it's weird that we
can connect with things that areso far from us.
That it's, it's just.
It was amazing.
I think that was the thing.
That was the connection that isprobably affected me the most.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Wow, and then do teach people how to access these
portals.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Yeah, what I did was it got to a point, probably at
about six or seven years into it, where sometimes I would just
end up in this one area and italmost felt like I was stuck,
because you can't change yourvision, it just all stays static
.
It's like a camera that doesn'thave pan or zoom or tilt or
anything Once.

(06:50):
Once you get that view, thenthat's it.
So I just kind of took it forgranted and I was thinking, well
, this is really not goinganywhere.
I felt like I was just in alull.
So at the time I had two kidsyou know full time job and going
to school, so I really didn'tput a lot of effort into it.
I still journaled, like I'vealways done, and then it got to

(07:13):
a point where I would start tosee what I say people but they
were in a rogue figure, like inamongst rogue, dark, brown, and
then I couldn't see any facesand they would move around
within that portal, but then Iwouldn't really see much more of
them.
They didn't communicate.
These nightly, these nighttimeportals, it was just pretty much

(07:33):
I got to see.
I didn't get to communicate, Ididn't get any, I didn't have
any other.
You know, there was noconversations or anything, but
it was a lot.
Then it started getting a lotof symbolism papers with nothing
but foreign languages writtenon their maiden symbols and it

(07:54):
would just go by so fast that Icouldn't retain it and I didn't
understand it.
So I was getting frustrated.
So at that point I decided Ineeded to do something else in
order to kind of progress.
So I was in the middle of atleast a two to three hour drive
every day back and forth to work.
So I started to notice that Iwould kind of goes off or

(08:17):
daydream to a point where thingswere starting to come in.
I didn't understand it and ittook me about two years to
figure out how to access it.
And then, once I did, I juststarted utilizing that
progression.
It's just basically going from athe difference is like an alpha

(08:38):
to a beta state or a beta to atheta state in brain waves.
So once I figured it out, thenI started writing down that
information, because thatinformation was actually meeting
with others, but the whole timeI was listening.
So I would get that informationcome out, write it down, and so
it took me probably about sixmonths of doing that to retain

(09:02):
most of the information.
It's like once you break beyondthe veil you can attain the
information, but once you comeback then that information is
almost always erased.
It's like a hard drive as soonas you walk through the magnetic
field it takes it out.
So it took a lot of practicejust to get to the point where I
could retain that informationand bring it back with me.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
What is some of the information that you were able
to retain and bring back withyou?

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Most of the information is personal, it's
just about me.
But what it is the informationis and I've watched a couple of
your videos and I understandwhat a lot of other people are
saying when they say I just knowthe information is true and
it's real, the information someof it is just like okay, that

(09:50):
makes total sense.
Yeah, I believe it.
Other information I've receivedis I didn't realize that when I
was accessing them during theday that it was actually a
portal, until I was told thatit's actually a portal, but what
they told me was what I can see.
They can also see on the otherend.
So it's an open portal.

(10:11):
They can see me as well as Ican see them, and I didn't know
that.
But these portals are more of acommunication type of portal,
because the one at night theywere just me visually seeing
something, but with this onethere was communication back and
forth.
And then I was also told that Icould leave them open, which

(10:32):
that was unacceptable to me.
There's two ways to do it, butI'm not going to leave them open
because everybody I don't careif it's in the spiritual realm
or a different dimensioneverybody's got their own agenda
and so I'm not buying into someof this stuff.
I have to be very selectivewhen I see something or hear
something and I have to base iton how I really feel about it,

(10:54):
and that wasn't acceptable.
So there's a couple, but mostof the information is either
personal, they're telling mesomething based upon it.
Recently I met a.
It's a non-physical being, butthey're in a physically created
body and it's like a metallicbody, and the female type and

(11:19):
the male type have two differentcolor renditions.
That's similar to what I havein my book.
On the front cover of the bookYou'll see where the green and
the yellow are.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Yeah, that's one that's either the male or female
, and then the other one isorange and a yellow, so that's
the only way you can tell.
They're kind of like alightning bolt on, you know.
And so I met them and I cameinto a meeting and they're the
only ones that ever told me thatI was kind of intruding,

(11:51):
because I'm not.
I can't tell where I'm gonnashow up at.
So where I show up at,everybody's been really, you
know, really accepting andwelcoming.
But that was the first set ofbeings that really wasn't happy
with it.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
So You're gonna have to go there.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Well, I don't know.
See, when I show up somewhere,I don't have the control of
where I land.
So I opened it up and that'swhere I'm at.
So the portals in a way decide, and In the beginning, when I
just started happening, I wasn'tpowering these up.

(12:32):
There's a certain amount ofenergy that takes to power the
portal up, for somebody to openone.
When I opened these in thedaytime the most recent one, I
call them glimpses you can onlydo this for a certain period of
time.
What happens is the connectionswill stop and then they'll

(12:54):
degrade to a point where youcan't connect again.
It takes some effort from oneside to open it, but then you
have to retain the energy inorder for it to stay open.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Your purpose is to share these forgotten
connections with our populationand to reacquaint people with
their abilities and theirspiritual selves.
Can you talk a little bit aboutthat.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yes, since I was able to access them controllably.
What I want to do is I want toget together with a small group
and then go through the process.
With a small group, we have theability to get together.
You have obviously more mindsto get together, come up with
ideas to actually get theprocess a little bit smoother.

(13:38):
I know that other people canaccess it.
Then they might have otherideas to maybe quicken it or
whatever.
That was my whole idea, for thesimple fact that I've had 26
years of these experiences.
This is something that I wantto keep to myself.
I got to the point, finally, where they said write the book,

(14:01):
which is just information.
I wanted to keep it short, nofat in it, just straight to the
point.
That's all.
If people were eitherinterested or not.
These can be used forcommunication, travel or many
other things.
Once you're able to access them, then if we could do it on a

(14:23):
regular basis, you don't reallyneed most of the technology that
we have.
I think this is what medicinemen and several other different
types of folks used to use inthe past.
We just don't have a history ofit.
It was something that was lostand now it's.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
That's amazing.
You're looking right now to geta group together to explore
this more and to see how youguys can access portals together
as a collective.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
What we want to do is so that we come out and present
it to people.
We can say, hey, we looked atit from all different angles.
We found the easiest way tomaneuver through this, to be
able to access it.
Then it's just easier to teachpeople how to do it.
If you have one teacher, theteacher can always.
They're not on the same levelas everybody else.

(15:11):
Some people are going to learna little bit better.
But if you've got four or fivedifferent viewpoints of it, then
it makes it easier for peopleto understand and maybe accept
and also to access.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
I like how you said that this may have been a
practice that was in the past, with medicine men and whatnot.
What do you feel is the benefitof accessing these portals?

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Well, I think the first thing is it allows you the
ability to be able to connectand understand that there's so
much more out there than what wesee on a daily life.
I mean, I'm the first victimthat, even though these were
happening to me, I was sowrapped up in my daily life that

(15:55):
I would just put them on theside.
I wouldn't pay attention tothem because I had more
important things to do.
But then I had to eventuallyfocus inward and say, okay, I
need to do something with thisbecause I'm not going to
progress until I initiatesomething.
And it kept pushing.
It really did.
I kept having instances thatwould happen, and then I would

(16:19):
just kind of brush it off, andthen I'm this type of guy that
you really need to kick me inthe butt in order to get moving
sometimes.
Well, I finally got the messageand I said, okay, let's do it
and let's start pushing forward.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
I love that.
Can you tell us a little so youAshle travel and when you were
young ages, what were your fiveto 10?
And you know that you can lookback now and doing that.
Do you have any moments whereyou were maybe scared or
uncomfortable with thatexperience?

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Well, when I was a kid it freaked me out, because
when you're a kid and I'm scaredof heights, At the time I was
really scared.
And you were traveling throughportals.
Well, I didn't have the portalexperiences when I was a kid
that I can remember, but Ididn't understand what it was.
It wasn't normal and I thought, man, if somebody finds out
about this, I'm going to beridiculed or sent to the state

(17:12):
hospital, who knows?
I mean, you know my parents arepretty straightforward, so
they're not into anything reallyspiritual, so I really don't
even know what they would havethought about it and I certainly
wasn't going to tell them.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Anyone when you were a child.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Realistically, I didn't share even the portals
with anybody other than maybethree or four people this whole
26 years.
This year is when I releasedthe book is the first time I've
told anybody else.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Wow, okay, tell us.
I know you said that your bookis no fat, but tell us a little
bit more about your book.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
The book is just basically starts out.
As you know, when I was youngerI started having these
experiences and I didn't reallyknow what they were.
Then I read about the out ofbody.
What I did was I went by thesteps in Robert Monroe's
journeys out of the body tobecome conscious while I was in

(18:11):
a dream.
So I kept trying it and tryingit, and trying it.
Then, finally, like I said, Iwas successful.
Then I found another book.
It's called Beyond theAstroplanes and it's by the
author named Soled Fair Park.
He happened to be living herein Phoenix as well.
I went to a local metaphysicalbookstore back in the 90s.

(18:32):
At the time his book just cameout.
He self-published and Jan Rosswas the owner.
She's a psychic and she walkedup to me and she goes maybe
you'll be interested in thisbook.
As soon as she handed it to me,I'm like this is it.
This is what I've been lookingfor.
It had a lot of answers andwhat it says is called Beyond
the Astroplanes, and that'sreally what it is.
It lays out a map of what'sbeyond it and as well as

(18:56):
techniques in order to access it.
So that gives you more fuel.
I ended up contacting the authora couple of years after these
portals started and we had apretty good discussion on it
after he thought about it and hesaid this is where I think
you're at.
But he says I think maybeyou're on some.
He goes, I think you might bejust starting new ground, and he

(19:20):
goes.
I really don't know.
He goes.
I can't answer why this ishappening or how it's happening
or where you're at.
So then I had to figure it out.
I always looked on the internetand I looked around to try to
figure out if anybody had portalexperiences and I just I
haven't accessed any.
I even went to local chiefs anddifferent Indian tribes and

(19:42):
spoke with them, because I knowthey have Indian hieroglyphics
and that for portals, but nobodyreally has any information that
I could access from it.
But yeah, so it goes.
The book actually goes through, tells about some of my portal
experiences, then along how Idiscovered how to access it
myself during the day calledglimpses, and then it kind of

(20:03):
just goes on and gives a littlebit more information on how I'd
like to get together with peopleand teach people how to do it,
because I believe that's thewhole reason behind it.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Yeah, absolutely, and then let's go to if somebody is
interested in maybe joiningyour group.
What is the best way to reachout to you?
Is it through your Facebookpage?

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah, just a Facebook page.
It's under my dark explorationsof people who've got.
I started posting things andI'll eventually be putting more
information on there, but Ipretty much just started it, so
there's not a lot of informationyet.
I mean, if people havequestions, I can definitely
answer them, but I just wantedto get the information out here.
I think it's the main thing isjust to share it.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
I think it's a fascinating thing.
I know that some of the workthat I do is traveling through
different dimensions and you gointo this tetrahedron like
energetic bubble.
So now I'm like oh, I'mdefinitely going to get your
book and read it, because I findI'm going to check up some
portals, like because I'mtraveling off to different

(21:05):
dimensions.
But I mean, I would like to seewhat a portal is like.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Right.
And the thing is, once you'vedone it, it's easy to access
them.
It's just as long as you haveenough energy available to keep
them open for a brief amount oftime.
But you really don't need tospend much time in there,
because the information, as soonas you cross over and you're
conscious of it, it just comesin.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
I mean, it's just a concrete.
It's a knowing Right, so itjust at first it's bringing it
back.
That's the hardest part.
You know it's there, but it'sjust like I said once you, once
you're able to pierce the veiland bring that information back,
was the the very hardest part.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Oh, my goodness.
Well, I appreciate you so much, the fact that you've been on
this journey for 26 years andnow you're kind of all right now
I know I can.
I'm going to share this becausemore people need to learn this.
So I do have another questionfor maybe somebody who is astral
traveling and not aware thatthey're doing it, or maybe you
know, having an overwhelmingexperience with that, any piece

(22:07):
of advice you can give to them?

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Well, in the astral you're, you're just one step
away from the physical.
There's a, I think it's 12 or13 levels of the astral, and
beyond that is a, is another, isanother state called the dream
state.
So when you leave the physical, you go into, you travel into
the astral with your spirit andthen when you're beyond the

(22:30):
astral, there's a thing calledthe dream state and that's where
your soul travels to.
That's when you have the doubleseparation.
Once you're past the astral, then you're using large amounts
of energy and you've got.
You've got to really payattention.
I would say the most importantpart of anybody doing anything,
whether it's astral or not, isvisualization.

(22:51):
That is your number one, that'syour, that's going to be your
number one benefit.
If you daydream a lot, that'sgreat.
If you visualize, that's good.
Be able to visualize even ifyou're driving, so that you can
concentrate on one thing andvisualize it.
If you have that benefit, thatis going to pay you back many

(23:12):
times because that allows you, your brain, the ability to
travel into another.
I'm another brain level.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
What.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
I say is my best.
The information I can givesomebody that best describes it
is you are where you're at isbased on your point of focus.
Wherever you focus is whereyou're going to be.
You don't need to leave yourhouse in order to see multiple

(23:45):
dimensions.
You can see more from yourhouse and you can't anywhere
else.
It's your point of focus, thatis your main.
That's the main point that Ialways tell everybody.
Your point of focus determineswhere you are at and when you
change your brain activity, thatis going to change your focus
and it takes you away from thephysical.
Now everybody tells us thatwe're bound by the laws of

(24:11):
gravity and the differentphysical laws.
You are only bound by thoselaws where your point of focus
is on the physical.
When your point of focus isbeyond the physical, you're not
bound by any of those laws.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Oh, that's really important to say.
I like that.
Does that go into?
I know that I've read aboutwhen people astral project it to
make sure to tether themselvesthrough a physical body.
So if my point of focus is outof that, then I don't
necessarily have to do that.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Well, the tether, the silver line, is always
connected.
So your body is connected tothe spirit by this silver line
and then you have another onethat's even thinner, that
connects your spirit to yoursoul.
Okay, so there's three parts toyour.
It's like the Holy Trinity.
You have three parts to eachperson physical, spiritual and
soul.
So that is always going to bethere.

(25:04):
You don't have to focus on it,because that's where that's.
If the line were to eitherbreak at some time, if you
didn't connect them backtogether, they'll self heal.
If you didn't connect them backtogether, then you could
physically die if that was thecase, but you would have to do
something.
So, out of the ordinary, itprobably will never happen.
But most people you know, ifyou're in the astral, I would

(25:25):
say explore.
But as with anything else, evenbecause we're dealing with
being some either spiritualbeings or anything from out of
our reality, all after you haveto remember, they all have their
own agendas.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Right.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
And you can't take everything at face value.
You have to think about whatyou're being told and bring it
back with you.
Don't agree to anything untilyou've really consciously
thought about it, because youknow you don't know where that
information's coming from.
And, as you know, here it'slike if you're walking down the
street you're not going tobelieve everything everybody
tells you.
It's the same thing there.

(26:04):
You know I'm having aconnection, but it's as far as I
know.
I've never had a problem.
It's a protected connection.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Right.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
And that's what I appreciate with it.
And then when somebody tellingme that I can leave it open or
there's a gateway, I'm not goingto do that because at that
point I'm no longer protectedand it's an open gateway.
It means it can travel fromboth ways.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Right.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
Right, and so far, with all these portal
connections, there has been notraveling from one side to the
other.
I have entered them before andI have created them, but so far
there hasn't been any issue withit.
And I believe the ones thatoriginally exposed me to the
portals are the ones that thathow would I say it?

(26:53):
They watch over them andthey're aware of what's
happening?
I have no idea.
All I know is the informationthat I got is they don't speak
my language, but they obviouslyknow what's going on, so and I
don't know.
I've talked to a lot of peopleand I don't.
Nobody else happens to know, sothe only way I find out is

(27:13):
through, you know, trying myself, and that's why I wanna get a
couple of people on board, because it's easier.
When you have multiple mindsworking on a project, you come
to a solution much faster.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
Absolutely, absolutely.
That's so true.
Every time you say that I keepthinking about, like light
language and that sacredgeometric.
You know language, it's justfascinating.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
So and it was it was brought to us by many.
There's so many more advanced, you know, either entities or
whatever in the universe, thatit's just unbelievable.
You know, and we're probably onthe caveman status of a lot of
them.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Oh, I totally agree with you 100%.
Well, mike, I wanna say thankyou so much for joining me on
the spiritual spotlight series.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
else Amazon, yes, if you have Amazon Prime, I think
it's free for most people.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
So oh, I love that.
Oh, amazing.
