What if the best content strategy wasn’t about doing more...
but about capturing what’s already happening in your most brilliant moments?

If you’ve ever said, “I’m just too busy running my business to show up online,” this episode is your wake-up call.

Here's a quiet truth most expert entrepreneurs miss: your most powerful content is already happening inside your workday, you’re just not capturing it.

We're dismantling the myth that content creation requires more time, more effort, or a perfectly scripted persona - and shows you how to market like an expert, not a performer.

💡 What You’ll Learn:

  • The real reason you feel behind on marketing (it’s not time—it’s the model)
  • The “mic drop moment” method to capture content while you work

Brad Powell (00:00):
If you've ever thought, I'm just too busy
running my business to show uponline, this is for you.
Most experts think thatmarketing is a separate task.
It's something you do afteryour client calls and after
you've cleared your inbox andwhen you've put all the fires
out?
Well, spoiler alert, thatmoment never comes.

(00:20):
I've worked with dozens ofhigh-level experts and I've
helped them show up onlinewithout spending a lot of extra
time.
None of them had to go andcreate more content, they just
captured what was already there.
But what if I told you thatyour very best content, the kind
that builds trust and attractsperfect fit clients, was already

(00:41):
happening in your day?
In this video, I'm going toshow how a simple mindset shift
and a three-minute habit canturn your busiest days into your
most powerful marketing.
So buckle up, here we go.
I want to challenge the beliefthat gaining visibility and
showing up on video requires awhole lot more time.

(01:03):
Here's the thing that hardlyanyone will tell you growing a
strong personal brand, that kindthat builds trust and makes you
the go-to authority for a thingthat you do should feel easy.
But if you're an expertentrepreneur and you feel like
you're kind of hidden online, well, there's nothing wrong with

(01:23):
you.
It's just that you've beenworking with a broken model.
And we're here to fix that.
Here's the key principle that Iwant you to remember.
You don't need to createcontent.
You just need to capture it.
You are undoubtedly sharing allkinds of value every single
day.
When you share a DM, whenyou're on a Zoom call, when

(01:44):
you're in a team meeting,whenever you're working with a
client, or maybe if you're aguest on a podcast.
All of these situations aremoments where you are in your
absolute zone of genius, and itis easy for you to share your
expertise and to share the thingthat you are so good at doing.
So the problem isn't thatyou're not marketing.

(02:07):
The problem is that you're notdocumenting the marketing that
is already happening.
So let's address the mindsetchallenge when it comes to
talking about your work oncamera.
Try this simple mindset shiftthat's going to make your
content creation feel reallyeasy.
Think of something that you doevery day without thinking about

(02:28):
it, uh like tying your shoes.
And then apply these threewords, capable, ease, and
certain to tying your shoes.
And then say out loud, likeliterally, get down on the floor
and start tying your shoe.
And while you're tying yourshoe, say, I'm capable of tying

(02:48):
my shoe.
And then feel how capable youare.
Actually, get into the feeling, don't just say it.
And then say, it's easy to tiemy shoes.
And then get in the feeling ofhow easy it is.
It's like I could tie my shoeswith my eyes closed.
And then the third word, I amcertain that I can tie my shoes.

(03:09):
And then feel the certainty.
Like literally embody, I'mabsolutely confident of tying my
shoes.
There's no way that I'm notgoing to be able to tie my shoe.
That exercise, that shift inyour brain, now your brain is
tuned to feel capable, at ease, and certain.
And all you need to do now isapply that to the moment when

(03:33):
you are talking about your work.
I am capable of talking aboutmy work.
Talking about my work is easy.
And I am certain that I cantalk about my work.
Usually, as entrepreneurs, youknow, we're passionate about
what we do.
And so when someone comes up tous and says, What do you do?
Tell me more, we'll just be afountain of all kinds of

(03:57):
information.
And this is the mindset and thezone you want to be in.
And when you are talking with aclient or when you're talking
with a team member, you can bein that same moment of
capability and ease andcertainty.
And when you're in that moment, that is what we want to
capture.

(04:17):
We want to capture thosemoments.
These are moments that I callmic drop moments.
And here's the key secret tothis your calendar is your
content strategy.
That day, the Tuesday that isfull of Zoom calls back to back.
Look at all the content that'sgoing to come from all of those
Zoom calls.

(04:37):
If you're recording everysingle one of those calls, then
all of a sudden you have thesemoments, you have these nuggets,
you have these pearls of wisdomthat you're going to express
during those times when you'rein your zone of genius, when you
are feeling capable and at easeand certain of your abilities

(04:57):
to talk to whoever it is thatyou're talking about, capture
that in a recording, and thenyou can turn that into some of
your very best content thatanyone has ever seen from you.
And there's no shortage, likeyour week is full of this kind
of thing.
Any expert that has a fullcalendar has a huge amount of
content that they're alreadycreating.

(05:19):
And here's the beauty of thismodel: you don't need a studio.
You've got Zoom.
And you don't need a script, you just speak in the way that
you ordinarily would.
And you don't need more time, you just need a system that puts
this into place.
Let the brilliance, youreveryday brilliance, let that be
the showcase for yourauthority.

(05:41):
So if you've been feeling kindof behind of all the other
online creators out there, don'tbeat yourself up too much.
It's not your fault.
Expert entrepreneurs like youand me weren't meant to be
content creators.
We don't want to participate inthe creator economy.
We're participating in theexpert economy.

(06:01):
And you know you have a lot ofvalue.
You have years of experience.
You've got lots of proof of thework that you do.
You've got clients that lovethe work you do.
You just need a better way tocapture you in your zone of
genius.
If this is landing for you andyou're ready to make your client

(06:24):
work do your marketing for you, just go to standoutcall.com,
get on the phone, and we'll talkabout how I can help you show
up powerfully without feedingthe content machine.
Because your best content isalready happening.
It's just a matter of lettingit be seen.
And if you want to go evendeeper on how to create trust

(06:46):
building content that willattract your best fit clients,
then just watch this next video.
And I'll see you there.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
