For thousands of years documented accounts, of what we now call "sleep paralysis," has been an area of interest. Scientists can understand what is happening during this mind, body disconnect, but not the why behind it. Why is this happening? More interestingly still is the appearance of the Hat Man. While sleep paralysis varies from person to person, the Hat Man seems to be a universally similar vision, eeriely lurking not just in your dreams.
