Today's meditation is going tobegin with connecting with a
wish or an intention.
It can be a single word, adeepest desire, maybe something
you haven't put out into theuniverse yet.
Might be an affirmation.

Really, whatever comes to mindfor you today, it could be a
single word like health, orpeace, or calm, clarity.
Whatever it is.
Start to connect with yourintention for today's meditation

So find somewhere comfortableto relax, maybe a cushion under
your knees to support your back,or a cozy blanket to keep you

warm and allow yourself to fullyrelax.
This is a practice that you canenjoy in the evening before you
go to sleep, or even whenyou're feeling not well and you
just want to reconnect and allowthe body into a relaxed state

of healing.
You can also use it to startyour day Whatever works for you.
This is your invitation to joinme in this short guided
meditation.
Once settled, with eyes closed,start to feel the body heavy on

the surface that you're lying on, just connecting with awareness
to the weight of the body andthe sound of your breath.
This is a time just for you.
There's nothing to do.

You are supported.
You will continue to breathe,whether you think about it or
not, but if you connect withthat beautiful life force,
breath, you will notice a newenergy.

As you breathe and continue toconnect with yourself, exhale
anything that you've beenholding on to Breathe in the

connection, breathe out anythingthat's not serving you in this
moment.
There's nothing you can do,nothing you want to do right now

Nothing else matters for thesemoments.
There is no right or wrong.
As you go through the process,there just is.

In this beautiful relaxed spaceand state, connecting with the
movement of your breath, allowyourself to connect inward,

being one with the breathsupported by the earth beneath
you, connecting with your senses.
What can you hear around you,both inside and outside?

Just notice.
Assign no meaning.
Just notice.
What can you taste in yourmouth, what sensations can you

feel in your skin and body?
And now, as you connect withyour eyes and your power of

(05:42):
sight, just allow your gaze toturn inwards.
Feel your eyes sinking gentlyas I guide you through this
process, remaining relaxed yetin conscious awareness.

If your mind drifts, simplynotice and then guide it back to
my voice.

(06:37):
In this relaxed state, I wantyou now to connect with that
wish or intention that you setfor today's practice.
Remember, it can be a singleword or a deepest desire, an
affirmation or whatever comes tomind.
Whatever your deepest desire orintention is, it's time now to

(07:24):
state in your mind yourintention for today's practice
three times.
Once you've repeated yourintention or your affirmation

(07:56):
three times, I want you torepeat thank you in your mind,
feel a deep sense of gratitude.
Take a deep breath in, fillyourself with that intention and

(08:34):
, as you exhale, I want you tosurrender your intention to the
universe.
Take a few deep breaths here andI'm going to guide you now
through parts of your body, justbringing awareness.
You don't need to move.
Simply listen to my voice andconnect with each area as I

guide you.
There's no right or wrong wayto do this.
If you drift, simply guideyourself back to my voice,

beginning the sensations of yourtongue, your jaw and your lips,
notice any tension there andjust breathe into it and relax,

guiding you now to your righthand thumb, second finger, third
finger, fourth finger and fifth, moving to the palm of the hand

and then to the back of thehand, your wrist, your forearm,

(10:37):
your elbow and the fold in yourarm on the opposite side of your
elbow.
Your upper arm, swirl aroundfrom your bicep to your tricep,

now your shoulder, under yourarm, and then down past your
right ribcage and your torso anddown to your waist on the right

(11:35):
side of your body.
Imagine now that the area thatI've guided you through so far
has an aura, a, a beautifulgolden light traced all the way

from your fingertips up yourarms and elbows, shoulders, and
then down the side under yourarm, past your ribs to your
waist on the right side, ribs toyour waist on the right side.

(12:24):
Breathing and being, stayingwith my voice, allowing yourself
a beautiful space between sleepand wakefulness, a wide, open
space, no expectations, nothingto do.

(12:49):
Breathe.
And now we're going to do thatsame beautiful guided awareness
up our left side, starting withthe left hand thumb and the

(13:19):
second finger, and then thethird and fourth, tracing a
beautiful aura, your fifthfinger, your palm of the hand.
Make a circle here, let itswirl, and now to the back of

(13:42):
the hand and around the wrist,like a beautiful golden bracelet
, beautiful gold aura as youtrace up your forearm to your
elbow and across the fold inyour arm on the opposite side of

(14:07):
your elbow and up your bicepand circle around to the back of
the arm and your tricep,tracing now up to your shoulder

(14:32):
and swirling back down underyour arm and down through the
left side ribs and torso to yourwaist.

(14:54):
We're going to continue on downto the hip and the thigh and the
knee and the calf, stroke backup, hamstring to the glute and

(15:37):
then back down again to theAchilles, the sole of the foot,
the top of the foot, the leftbig toe, the second toe and
third, the fourth and the baby.

(16:00):
We'll do the same now on theright side, beginning at the

(17:00):
waist and the hip and the thighand the knee and the shin and
the calf.
We're going to stroke back upfrom the calf to the Achilles,
the ankle, the heel and the soleof the foot and the top of the
foot, the big toe and the secondtoe, the third toe, the third

(18:01):
toe, left heel, right thigh,left thigh, right buttock, left

(18:23):
buttock, lower back, middle back, upper back, and now trace a
beautiful broad stroke down theentire spine Right to the

(18:48):
tailbone and then trace straightback up, curving around the
right shoulder blade and theleft shoulder blade to the back

(19:09):
of the neck to the back of theneck and the back of the head
and the top of the head, trace aline right down your nose,

(19:37):
swirling back up and out to yourforehead, and now the right
temple, the left temple Circlearound the right ear and the
left ear, tracing up your lefteyebrow, down again on the

(20:07):
bridge of your nose, back upagain and over to the right
eyebrow, circling your beautifulright eye and your right
nostril and your left nostrilBack up over your left eye,

(20:36):
swirling to your right cheek,your glowing and your left cheek
, beautiful space between yournose and your upper lip,
beautiful space between yournose and your upper lip.
And now trace your lip, upperand lower, both lips together,

(21:07):
touching and now your chin andyour jaw, the beautiful bone on
the right side that goes to yourthroat.
Take a broad stroke here andthen back up again across your
chin to the left side, acrossyour chin to the left side and

(21:36):
then down the left side, strokeup and down to your collarbone
on the left and your collarboneon the right, the right side of
the chest and the left side ofthe chest and the left side of
the chest Swirling to the rightupper ribs and then the left,

(22:18):
lighting up your upper tummy andyour lower stomach, circling
around your belly button, downthrough the pelvis, down the
front right leg and then up theleft front leg.
Take a beautiful brush down theright arm and another stroke

(22:53):
down the left arm, broaderstrokes now your whole face,
your whole head, your skull, theback of your head and now
imagine your whole torsocircling right around you, right

(23:14):
underneath where you're lying.
Beautiful aura.
You're floating now in the aura, connecting with the breath,
breathing in and breathing out,connecting now with the

(23:36):
sensation of heaviness andlightness at the same time.
Notice which areas of your bodyfeel heavy and relaxed and then
connect with that sensation oflightness or it feels light.

(23:58):
Your head, your back, yourlimbs, moving between the
sensations, the beautifulopposites that life brings.
As you feel heavy, feel yourbody on the mat or floor surface

(24:20):
that you're lying on, heavy andsinking body, sinking into deep
, heavy, relaxed awareness.

(24:42):
Then moving to calm.
Where can you feel calm withinyour body?
What does that feel like?
Feel the lightness and now moveto tension, feeling the body,

(25:10):
experience tension and tightnessand then back to calm, feeling
calm wash all over your body.
Notice heat within your body.

(25:40):
Where does it feel warm or hot?
Can you feel your pulse, canyou feel your blood?
And then moving to cold.

(26:01):
Where do you feel cold?
Does your breath feel cool orhot?
And now light and dark.

(26:23):
Feel the darkness behind youreyes.
Where in your body feels dark?

(26:45):
Moving to the light when inyour body feels light?
Feel that light within you.
Where is it situated then?

(27:10):
Feeling the whole body, all ofyou, inside and outside, enjoy a
floating sensation and beingReturning now to your deepest

(27:53):
desire or affirmation orintention, whatever it is that
you intended for today'spractice, and allow yourself to
connect with it again, repeatingit in your mind with gratitude
three times.

(28:19):
Hmm, if you are continuing on tosleep, then allow yourselves to
go.
My friends, if you arereturning your awareness back to

(28:41):
this space, to the room, thenstart to become more aware of
the sounds around you, engagingeven more consciously with the
weight of your body on the mat.
Take the time you need toprocess this experience.
