Hello My Lovelies!!! If you don't follow me on Facebook, then you may not have heard that we are switching to every other Friday for releasing podcast episodes for the forseeable future. I had to take a page outta my own book and take care of me while I go back to school. Never fear, we've got a wonderful episode for ya and the sex pros and intimacy doers of the world will come atcha still...just a little less frequently. Don't forget to follow the podcast on Spotify to never miss an episode!
Today's episode I introduce you to Nikita Fernandes, also known as Goddess Nix, who shares her journey of self-discovery and healing as a therapist and member of the kink community. Growing up in a patriarchal culture in India, Nikita felt the erasure of women's sexuality and turned to reading smut in secret. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a therapist and eventually found her passion for sex therapy and serving marginalized communities. Nikita discusses the importance of visibility and understanding in healthcare and how she found community and embraced her body through the kink scene. She also highlights the impact of media, particularly porn, on body image and sexual expectations. Nikita Fernandes discusses non-monogamy, kink, and navigating the stigma around HSV.
